Fantastic experience: If I could rate this man’s patience, confidence in his students , and determination to see it through WITH YOU .100/100 … He is in an incredible instructor, super patient, very friendly and you can count on him to give you constructive criticism if necessary until you get it right in the most respectful way ! I had a mental breakdown and this man redirected me, calmed me down and reassured me that we were going to get this done and I was going to get my license and sure enough I did receive my license. I am super proud of myself and I highly recommend this school. He takes his time with his students and he sees everything with you. Don’t hesitate come to this school!!! Thank You Bernie !!!

Fantastic experience: If I could give Bernie 10 stars I would. He was so kind, funny, and patient with me. If it wasn't for him and working with my learning disability I would have never passed my driving test for the first time 3/30/2024. Honestly he believed in me and it allowed me to believe in myself. I thank God and Bernie for supporting me through this journey. I am definitely going to work with Bernie again to work on becoming comfortable driving on the highway and parallel parking. I wasn't sure if I was going to pass before I took my driving lesson but after taking his class I felt more confident and he will tell you what you did wrong but he will also help you correct it... Fantastic experience: Passed my road test 7/02/20 first try. Thanks to Bernie for taking the time during covid to ensure I accomplished this milestone. Three years later I am still using techniques he taught me with making sure to be a safe and responsible driver. Best driving instructor anyone could ask for.

Fantastic experience: 25 years ago I came here i took home the booklet read it and read it..when I was ready I paid to take exam I failed twice on the 3rd time I pass then I took driving test and pass on first time. So I paid for exams and driving classes..never took education for written.. I recommend this place it has moved location but same street.

Whether it was the tips and tricks on all types of parking, the ways to make turns, how to keep proper speed, or how calm he was during my lessons, everything was so helpful. Even if you can find a cheaper price, the money you spend with him is worth every dollar. I passed my first try without a single error all because of how great Bernie was. 5/5 stars if you want to be as prepared as possible for your test!

Negative experience: This school took advantage of my young and inpatient daughter and charged her $500 for a couple of hours of driving lessons. They did not make any arrangements with DMV and they did not take her to take her driving test. The instructor also told her to make an appointment with DMV before she even received the form she needed from him so that cost an additional $80. I will be filing a small claims suit against them.

Fantastic experience: I took the 8 hour driving safety course here, and overall it was a wonderful experience. The instructor was full of anecdotes, and conducted the class in a way which highlighted the safe ways of driving without it being too boring. The prices were very competitive, if not actually lower then many driving schools in the area. If you complete the various quizzes/questionnaires successfully, you can leave the class much, much earlier then the supposed "8 hours". I left in less then half the time. 5/5 would recommend, you won't be disappointed. The only slight niggle is that the classroom is located in a "rougher" part of town, in park street but the service provided was still top quality.

Fantastic experience: I spoke to most of schools around me to take the 8 hours lessons before the driving test, most of schools are a wast of time interms of reserving a seat, finding appropriate location, and the time to get your certificate, however when i called bernard he told me you get you lessons your certificate on the same day you finish. And this is what happened i paid got the lesson and my certificate on the same day. This school is the best for those who doesnt have time to waste.

Negative experience: I didnt even get a chance to do the lesson i had plnned for.This terrible instructure came to assist me,to be exact Bernard,he looked me up and down and i could smell racisism.I was sitting in the car for about 10 minutes experiencing harrassment from this man .it was the worst experience i ever had .would not recommend my worst enemy to this school.I gave it a one star because the secretary i made the appointment with was a calm person

Fantastic experience: Had to get a license after moving to West Hartford in 2013.. So I asked around and Intl Driving School was recommended to me by a friend. Took a few lessons from them and managed to get my license! Bernie knows the area well and will highlight the tricky areas to you (Wethersfield DMV isn't an easy place) to take a driving test.. and the agents in DMV does not make your life any easier. Highly recommended if you are a first time driver or just want to know how the driving test goes.
