Fantastic experience: If you need to learn how to drive or need to practice, this is the perfect place for you. I will be completely honest, I had Matt who was funny and helpful but serious if you make a big mistake. He will keep helping you correct your mistakes while being goofy to help make it easier for you to be calm and cool headed. Thanks to Matt I just passed my test yesterday and I couldn’t be any more satisfied with the results. 10 out of 10!!!

Negative experience: My daughter paid 455 in September- and they STILL have not called her or arranged for her to do the training course since she was one minute late logging onto computer due to technical difficulty - in my opinion they need to refund her money so she can go somewhere that really wants to provide the services the consumer pays for - I advised my daughter to file a report with BBB and with the federal fraud commission.

Fantastic experience: Ms. Green was such a pleasure to work with! I had her for both the abbreviated adult course and in car lessons. she is very real and down to earth and really was so fun to work with, she is very straight forward and does not sugar coat things and has a different perspective than most driving instructors as she is a law enforcement officer. I don’t think I would have passed if it was not for her help. She deserves a big huge raise!

Fantastic experience: My experience with the abbreviated adult driving training course was excellent. My instructor made the experience enjoyable in addition to being informative. She was professional, very experienced, knowledgeable, and on time. I have learned a lot from her in a short period. She is one of the main reasons I succeeded in getting my driver's license today. I highly recommend Ms. Greene.

Negative experience: Garbage pure garbage do not go with this company over 400 dollars and you don't get professionalism the instructors are garbage you're not teaching them important things such as what to do if you're at a red light and you have emergency vehicles behind you you're charging $400 for instructors to yell at people I don't know how you people are in business you can't do that especially to somebody who's learning how to drive instructor should not be on your cell phones the entire time I wish there was a way people can get their money back because this is not what you should be doing oh and I forgot to mention anybody reading this review they charge $50 for every time your late picking up someone regardless if it's your fault or not such as traffic they don't say that on the website overall I'm saying you'll have a better experience elsewhere don't go to Myers driving School

Negative experience: The Meyers driving school itself was fine. but on the other hand bruce was a terrible instructor he always made me feel scared and nervous while i was driving, he made me drive to a chocolate place and came out with little balls of chocolate and then took a bite out of one of them and proceeded to ask me if i wanted a bite out of the same one …… one of the first things he said to me was commenting on my body saying i look like i have a gymnast body. I took a wrong turn and he yelled at me and was clapping his hands and made me feel scared. He was late to an in car due to bowling practice. in my last in-car he kept me over an hour past when i was supposed to be home. he just made me uncomfortable with all his little comments. lastly idk how he got my phone number but after the in car sessions were over he was sending me quotes about weird random things.

Negative experience: I would not recommend this driving school to ANYBODY I paid for classes on Wednesday. And called Friday to confirm the classes for Saturday. I showed up 15 minutes before as they asked. A older guy with a beard, ball cap and leather jacket says the class wouldn't continue for 20 minutes so I waited 30 and no instructor showed. I left and tried to do the virtual classes but the site kept prompting me to a blank page. There was no customer service to call at 7:30 in the morning. Communication was terrible plus THEY WILL REFUSE REFUNDS!!

Negative experience: My driver instructor would yell at me, belittle me every day, and constantly tell me how I was going to die. Wish I remembered his name. He wasn’t helpful and also told me to take off my mask to see what I looked like which I found odd and unprofessional.

Negative experience: When to join class online at 8:00am I press to join class and since it was 8:00.34 seconds after 8 it said I was late to class witch should not be allowed I was 35 seconds passed 8 and can’t do a class that I paid for that cost a lot of money

Positive experience: The instructor Michael was amazing as for Myers itself, the class could he a little better. The content is very old. It's a good experience though especially since it was an adult class.

Negative experience: myers driving school was great class wise. the instructor i got came from the medina county location, miss green(e). miss greene had no emotion towards me when i got worked up because i was overwhelmed when doing the maneuverability for the very first time. additionally, she does not explain things differently when i expressed to her that i didn't understand how she was explaining something the first time. she also taught the opposite of what myers classroom instructors taught me, and got frustrated when i told her that i learned what i was doing. the in class and in car instructors need to be on the same page. also, she took me to a parking deck in downtown akron to practice in a parking deck, and we also went over the specifics of the engine, and how to replace break lights, etc. in the middle of her explaining things to me, she got a phone call from who she said was her boss from this location (or copley, i'm not sure.) there were multiple instances where she'd answer a phone call or text every time it came through. and since i only had 3 days of instruction, the first 2 were 3 hour long sessions, so i had a break around the 2 hour mark. on the 2nd day, she got a call during her break and spent the entire break on that call, causing her to not be able to eat when she was supposed to, so she ate while i was driving, which typically i wouldn't mind but since it's covid, we had to both have our masks on, and obviously she did not. she was very unprofessional and her excuses for being so tough and straight to the point was either "i'm military" or "i just graduated from police academy and they were rough on us." which i understand those are habits from serving and protecting, but she's in a teacher position so she needs to act like a teacher. she also told me that she had no emotion because "i watched my friends get blown up in war." like i'm sorry that happened to you, but i'm a brand new driver so i'm gonna make mistakes and have questions that i need genuine answers for. not to mention she was so rough on me that it caused my anxiety to get worse and i ended up crying in front of her because of it.

Negative experience: I specifically asked if my daughter would have her in car driving completed before her temps expired and I was told yes. She finished in class classes and have to now wait 3-5 months when I know I asked if she would be ok and not have to re get her temps knowing that they expire very soon like in July. I was told no way of getting her in any sooner of course after they roped her in with the thought she could be taken care of. so basically screw my 17 year old daughter out of her money that she worked hard for. She now has to take time off work to re take a temp test that she should not have to do and re pay money to the state. The lady in the phone said that she listened to the phone conversations but only listened to the first one and did not pursue the phone call/conversation that I was speaking of. Poor customer service. A lot of hurry up but then wait 3-5 months for the in car driving. I do not recommend this school. I feel they are slacking at ethics. There should always exceptions especially when spoken about and I know 100% that I was told that she would be ok and would be able to get her license with no problem. Guess what! Problems and headaches. Horrible!

Negative experience: Had to fight and fight to get my son's certificate from them Had to send 20 a third timeAnd then sent an envelope so they can send it back to me and then they wasted it

Negative experience: The instructor was extremely rude and belittling. It’s hard enough to navigate the bureaucracy of driving without an extreme attitude like that. Honestly I don’t understand how this place is still in business. In a world where we have to wear masks and adjust everything to be out in public a little understanding goes a long way. However this institution has seen fit to make it even harder on you doing that. I would rather go without a license then deal with this place again.

Negative experience: Terrible place. Showed up at 7:55 for an 8:00 am class on Saturday and was told I was late I couldn’t take the class. I got up early on a Saturday to be here and have to reschedule and inconvenience someone to get me there. You had no problem taking my money without offering any service

Negative experience: The driving school itself was fine. Michael and Belinda are awesome teachers. However, my experience with Bruce was horrific. He was my in-car instructor, and he screamed at me on several occasions for little to no reason. He also belittled me and stressed me out to the point where it was difficult to learn. He also taught me to drive through squirrels and animals if they enter the street and got angry when I slowed down! Awesome teacher! He was very unprofessional and I don’t understand why Myers hired him. Ask for a different instructor if you get put with Bruce!

Negative experience: The in class teacher Cassandra was amazing! I DON'T RECOMMEND ALLIAH AS A DRIVING INSTRUCTOR !! unfortunately the in car driving instructor Alliah was a disappointment. Alliah wasn't polite or professional at all. She didnt even get out of the car to greet me I felt this was disrespectful considering this stranger was responsible for my only child for the next 2 hours in a vehicle. Instead of teaching and watching my child she would be on her phone being a distraction to the driver. She made My child miss a few turns because Alliah was on her phone not directing my child. She's not Consistent with her driving instructions either, they were different everyday. One day she had my child stop for fast food and run an errand for her at her insurance company. She messaged me 10 mins prior to our scheduled time to cancel. She was late 2 times making my daughter wait outside alone in the cold. When I called to report her behavior the manger would make excuses for her like "she's just having a bad day" and " we never had a problem with her before". When I asked if my child could get another instructor I was told that it would be awhile before I could get another one because of the packed schedule. Basically I was forced to pay ridiculous amounts of money so myself and my child could be disrespected.

Negative experience: Terrible driving to school don’t waste your money here the drive Instructor kept changing the driving appointments for the driving time. And the kicker is they are ultimately rude when you call too see why they keep changing your appointments around. I would rate them lower if I could crappy driving school Experience......

Alexzandria Cline 7 years ago

Negative experience: Absolutely terrible terrible TERRIBLE! I have finished drivers ed the first week of September, guess what? 14 weeks later and STILL NO CONTACT what so EVER about me starting in cars after being told multiple times I had to wait 6-8 weeks. I paid 295$ for such crappy service. And YES I HAVE spoken with someone 3 times now and they keep saying I will get called soon. Do not go here if you want to get your license before 18. If i could rate it less than one star I WOULD.

Fantastic experience: I could not recommend this driving school enough! Mr. Wilson (the Sunday teacher) goes far beyond what is required of him. His quirky ness and fun attitude makes the class fly by, a course that says two hours feels more like 30 minutes . I recommend all my friends to this location because of how fun the classes feel. If you need to take drivers education this is the place to go.

Positive experience: Tonya, whomst I spoke with on the phone, was extremely helpful. My daughter was able to take her 24 hours of classroom instruction over the course of six days. They are running about six weeks behind, though, on getting kids their time in the cars.
