United Truck Driving School: Reviews
Fantastic experience: Tienen transmission automatica?
Fantastic experience: Great school experience with very knowledgeable staff. They prepare you in the classroom for all of your DMV testing and then set you up for success behind the wheel at their yard where you can drive both manual or automatic. The driving instructors Adrian, Deon, Jermaine, and Josh are all patient and highly supportive in the learning process. They have alot of experience in the industry and will answer any questions you may have. You just have to ask and be eager to learn, this is what they encourage. You don't feel rushed or disrespected in their teachings. As long as you show up everyday, study hard, ask questions, and learn from your mistakes there's no reason you shouldn't get you CDL first time from this school. I attended the Riverside location. It's worth the extra drive if you live a little further away knowing you'll be at a quality school. Monty is the man who handles all admissions/enrollment. He's very approachable and a pleasure to work with. He'll set up the best financial plan for your needs or assist you in taking advantage of available grants or military discounts. I highly recommend United Truck Driving School.
Nicholas - we are so glad that you had such a great experience with us at our Riverside campus! We are so glad that our staff helped you to have an easy transition into your new career!

Fantastic experience: This is the best class A truck driving school in all of Riverside county. From the very start, just calling the school for information, the main guy who will answer is Monte. He is very kind and will help you with anything dealing with paperwork, admission and how to setup payments to the school. The price of the trucking school is more pricey compared to the other schools but the price is very reasonable with the top quality you will receive from the instructors. The accelerated 4 week program was very organized. The first 2 weeks will be in classroom and will mainly focus on getting your CDL Permit and passing all tests required to get it including all endorsements. The classroom teacher is very knowledgeable and has great patience teaching the students especially some that require a little more time to understand the study material. I'm not a smart guy, just average. However I still was able to pass the permit written test on the 1st try with all of my endorsements. The study material is not impossible but definitely requires on your part to study at home at the end of the day after class. The next 2 weeks after will be at the trucking yard which is only a 15 minute drive away from the school. There will be 4 instructors teaching the whole class to focus on passing the air brakes test, pre trip inspection (inside/outside), skills test and last is the driving portion. The main guy Adrian is the first one you will meet and will be the main guy you talk to in the yard. He is also very patient and understanding. If you have any questions, ask him. He will always be there to help you. The 2nd instructor is Josh that will help you practice your pre trip and skills test. His teaching ability is so great that you will feel at ease practicing your trucking maneuvers. The 3rd and 4th instructors are dion and Jermaine. They will help you on the driving portion. You will practice in both automatic and manual trucks. I never driven manual before my life but those two instructors have the patience of saint. They both understand that new students will make mistakes for sure out on the road. However they will be with you every step of the way to get you comfortable driving out by yourself on the road especially with the DMV instructor when you finally take your DMV driving test. I really had a great experience and I am very happy that I went with United truck driving School. Everyone there will set you up for success in your trucking career. That's me in the front with the bald head. Lol.
Richard - thank you for the 5-star review! We are so glad that our staff has made this process so easy for you! We look forward to seeing where your career takes you!

Fantastic experience: Great choice to better or even start your CDL training! From class room proper preparation and acquiring your permit to hands on behind the wheel with the instructors, Adrian, Jermaine, and Josh really knowing the industry like the back of their hand will have you confident in your DMV testing as well as your future in the industry. Also having your counselor Monty a phone call away I definitely recommend this school to military and new drivers wanting to obtain your CDL this is the school!
Corey - thank you for your 5-star review! We are so glad that we could help you get on the road to a new career, and that your instructors has such a positive impact!

Fantastic experience: Just passed my skills and driving test yesterday (Feb 11th) and I'm feeling incredibly thankful. I passed my pre trip with flying colors thanks to Dion who taught me the acronyms ABC and CBD. My weakest point was the reverse offset which I have Josh to thank for getting me through it. Special shout out to Adrian and Jermaine who have the patience of saints during the driving portion and helped me master my down shifting. Every instructor there played a crucial role in my success and I'm thankful for their effort. They were all polite, professional and patient. I didn't pass my skills test on my first try because i was unaware that getting out of the truck more than twice was an automatic fail. I wish the proctor at the DMV gave better details on the rules for testing, but it is what it is. The cool thing is that the school scheduled me for a re test within a week and let me continue to practice until I passed all my tests. Thank you guys for taking what you do seriously. Thank you for staying late for extra practice. Thank you for giving me the confidence to drive stick, reverse with a 53 foot trailer, drive on the freeway and get my license. This is going to be life changing for me and my family. God bless!
Fantastic experience: This school and its faculty have been awesome! I wanted to get my CDL-A with all endorsements, TWIC, and manual transmission. I’m an individual that requires an SPE Certificate for interstate (not needed for intrastate) driving. Monty advised me that they hadn’t had a student complete this process (it’s a lengthy one, going on 9 months). However, with the gracious patience and professionalism United Truck Driving School has stood with me while navigating this journey. The classroom dynamic was great to learn in and they covered everything needed to get endorsements, TWIC, and obviously the CLP. The two weeks in the classroom was quite beneficial. UTDS is partnered up with some great recruiters to help find employment during and after completion. The yard where we learn pre trip inspection and skills for the DMV is well laid out and accommodating for newbies. Germaine, Adrian, and Deon to name a few, are wonderful instructors and very easy to get explanations from. The school even went as far as to borrow a 53 foot trailer (required for SPE with a USDOT investigator) for me to practice with. They had no obligation to provide the equipment I needed but they did!!! Huge shout out to the ladies in the office at San Diego!!! If you’re looking for a school to get your CDL this is where you want to go! Great class sizes and they even offer time to work on skills when you need practice before you test and even if you need to retest. I owe a great deal of gratitude to this School and the people who work there, I couldn’t have done it without you!
Caleb, thanks for leaving a 5-star review and we're glad you had a great experience! We would love to hear more about your story and how your career is taking off! Would it be okay if we contacted you to ask a few questions?
Thanks for choosing United!
Fantastic experience: Very pleased with my experience in this school. They ensured I was confidant with my knowledge and driving ability prior to my test. Highly recommend this company for your CDL! Shoutout to my amazing instructors Asian, Deon, Josh and Jermaine. Phenomenal Instructors!
Fantastic experience: Went their 23 years ago been driving and earning ever since they did a great job cause if they could teach me they can teach anyone and im still driving today finished school in 2002
Fantastic experience: If you are not inclined to drive a truck or don't have the ability to retain information, by God, don't blame it on the school. I'm by far not the most intelligent person on the planet, and I passed. They give you all the answers in class to pass the written test. Don't dilute the process by knowing a wrong answer. Just read the question and the answer. It worked for me. It's so imperative to use the actual truck and trailer to practice on doing the parallel park, because the trucks and trailers are not the same. Training in a truck and trailer that's different from the one you test in, is a set-up for failure. Everybody has a place in life, and God has called me to be a truck driver. Whatever the outcome is, just realize everyone has a purpose, and an individual doesn't entirely dictate it's future. God Bless
Thanks for leaving a review, Joseph! Good luck in your career!
Fantastic experience: I had an excellent experience at United, Monty was incredible in working with me to get me enrolled and was very flexible when I had to push my enrollment to the next available course due to unforeseen circumstances. I cannot speak highly enough of Don, the classroom instructor. His teaching style is both engaging and patient—he genuinely has the patience of a saint. No matter how often the same questions are asked, Don remains enthusiastic and approachable, ensuring that everyone understands the material thoroughly. A key piece of advice for success in this course is to fully engage with the learning materials. Make sure to read all the books and class materials at least once on your own time, and stay focused during class. Avoid distractions, especially your phone, and you will undoubtedly excel. Moreover, it is essential to trust the process and follow the curriculum as designed. There's no need to consult external resources like YouTube videos from random instructors whose methods may not align with United’s curriculum. The instructors at United are highly skilled and experienced, so by simply adhering to their guidance, you'll be well on your way to obtaining your license.
Thanks for leaving a review, we're glad you had a five-star experience!
Negative experience: I was a student here from November to December 2023. And if you don't know anything about trucking or have never been in a semi-truck for that matter, DO NOT under any circumstances whatsoever come to this "school" (if they still call themselves that). I truly wouldn't even recommend this place to my worst enemy. I did not earn my CDL from here and trust me it wasn’t from a lack of trying, but because I was not ready to do my DMV driving test after entrusting this school to train me properly. I really only got my CDL because of myself and ultimately going to a different school and messing around with the trucks trying to get it right because I didn't get taught a thing at United, but if you pass with your CDL from here they'll definitely take the credit for all the work the student did, but if not they’ll just toss you and pocket your money. United if anything deals more in quantity rather than quality in the sense that everything was so rushed moving you from one “skills phase” to the next rather than truly caring if the student understood the concept or not. The first 2 weeks is getting talked at and watching antiquated videos that have NOTHING TO DO with what you’ll be tested on at the DMV. After my last class I needed to wait up to over a month to take my CDL driving test even though I wasn't ready either. They still pushed me to take it and the result at the end was predictable which shows how ethical they are. And let me just give you the spoiler from here, they won't train you well at all on the yard either. As the training yard conditions were always in a state of disarray. Quality time with instructors and equipment was always limited and stretched thin, with stress being at a all time high for the students involved as nobody really took charge to organize anything. You’ll be the only one training you at the end of the day. As the majority of your 'support network' here are just here 'United' to extract the money from your pockets whether you pass or fail to get your CDL or not, they got paid in full already, so what else is to be expected. Take a hard long look at some of the critical reviews; the majority here is actually based on unembellished fact. But it is your money at the end of the day so choose wisely as 7k+ is no laughing matter. If you are serious about looking for a serious trucking school because you are serious about earning your CDL check out AGT Trucking School across town (pictured below). In the end I too, ended up having to get my CDL - A (unrestricted) from a different school as well and wished I didn’t start out at this school because I had to almost start from scratch at a different trucking school and in only a few QUALITY weeks with caring instructors I got my CDL AFTER I unlearned ALL the horrible habits taught here at United and I learn the hard way as well about there being good schools that truly care about their students and ones that shouldn't even exist in the first place. All in all, I have more terrible experiences I can easily cite from this nightmare experience(but there's a character limit). But overall it was a complete waste of time, energy, and resources which I'll never get back. Everyday at United felt like I was working against myself. I came there to honestly learn not to fail. I found another school which I should have done A LOT SOONER. And finally the last correspondence I had received having to do with United quite literally was the DMV of all entities informing me that United was still using my personal information to sign other students up for their DMV exam appointments. So to me this school does not care about its students, just cares about getting paid and how many students they can throw at the DMV just to see what sticks. Also what good are those "fancy accreditations" that you hide behind, if students aren't suceeding?
Negative experience: If they send you to Arizona, don’t go. That Arizona exam test location is extremely racist. If you are a minority just wait to get an appointment in Fontana. That Arizona test out school is a money grab. They fail you and you have to pay again to come back to pass.
Negative experience: literally the worst trucking school you could pick
Positive experience: 3 stars are for the instructors and Monty ❤️ PLEASE READ Classroom Don is the man !! Monty is the boss I feel capable and prepared Don knows his knowledge and had me prepared for the WRITTEN exam etc as a female entering into the Trucking industry I felt educated on a even playing field I felt comfortable here like I'm with my family NOW ... THE Yard UGHH I did not leave feeling confident enough to take my test as a matter of fact I felt so incompetent that I had to drop my CDL A to a CDL B because I did not feel like I would have adequate enough training with working trucks and smooth sailing I literally still haven't passed the B the politics and messiness of the yard did not leave space for smooth sailing. NOW The wonderful and amazing instructors and ever so patient super all of em had knowledge and skill the range just be prepared and be patient stay humble and work hard All in all I don't feel like United was worth the department of Rehabilitations hard spent money and the sacrifices it took for me to get there Ps still haven't got my CDL free game-DEPARTMENT OF REHABILITATION OF CALIFORNIA paid for my school check out if you're eligible
Fantastic experience: Only accredited school in San Diego
Fantastic experience: Had a great experience with Don and Montey in the classroom they set me up for success on the written and when I got to the yard Jermaine and J. Cook prepared me for behind the wheel. If you fail this class it’s your own fault you either don’t have the mental capacity or the physical finesse to operate these trucks. They give you plenty of time to prepare you for the DMV they will even stay after hours and let you practice if your lacking in anything. YOU have to take the pre trip serious always go over the pre trip that was my weakest skill but if you practice you’ll get it!
Negative experience: I am currently enrolled in the October 31st - November 30th classroom. This school is not worth $6500. The classroom setting of it was great, Don the classroom instructor did a great job teaching and helping us pass to get our Class A permit. Now moving onto the second half of the month long program we were at the range for 2 weeks before we changed locations. At the first location during my time behind the wheel with instructor Cook they pulled us out the truck to allow them to interview new instructors for the school which took time away from our learning. This happened 2 days in a row. Currently the dates from November 21st-23rd and November 28th-30th at the new location the organization and set-up of the range was terrible. The first day moving here nothing was set up. (Cones, trailers, trucks). Wayne the manger of the “yard” was completely unorganized and stayed in the office all day while us students were waiting around for instructions. We were never taught how to ally dock the tractor, trailer. We learned how to straight back and offset for 1 week and that’s it. Now talking about the trucks and trailers, they are terrible. The trailers lights and connectors are all broken or not working, the trucks have air leaks, broken shifter, broken pigtails and took forever to have a proper mechanic come and fix them. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS SCHOOL FOR LEARNING TO ACHIEVE YOUR CDL
Positive experience: as far as the payment does it have to be full out of pocket or do they have like a payment plan you can do?
Fantastic experience: Alumni here; for Aug 2022, passed the dmv written test with flying colors, and took behind the wheels test three times (retested). Don, our classroom teacher for first two weeks is the man, the guy knows his stuff; so be ready to ask a lot, and absorb as much as possible. Wayne, Gus, and Charles are our yard teachers for the last two week; they took care of our skills behind the wheel. The negative. Now, anyone reading this need to know; we came into this school at their worst teaching month period. Our third week, Gus and Wayne were the ONLY instructors in the yard teaching six students. Every yard teacher you've read before in this review column had already left. According to my peer(s), and I would agree that it was disorganized-like there was a day when cones weren't set up by the time we got there at 6am is just an example. The positive. Gus has the patience of a saint when he teaches; and if you disrespect him or any of his students, you will be called out no hesitation. The man stays overtime to give you more time, if he sees you're serious. Let's be real here; overtime is optional, the man can choose not stay-and there is nothing the school can do to make a teacher stay after class's over. It would be in your best interest to be genuinely positive. Here is a fact; after I failed my first dmv behind the wheel test, I went back to United yard for some training and got the whole truck to myself for 2 hours; wild. Wayne will yell at you with valid reason(s); on the road practice is dangerous, so he will scream at the top of his lungs to get your attention-for safety. Although I took it personally; it was not his fault, and I mean this. Charles is a good man, supportive and gave me real world unscripted advice about the truck industry. Cleary saw how overwhelmed I was behind the wheel on the road. As of right now.. out of six students, only three passed the dmv test (including myself). I cannot write what my peers could be thinking, so I can only write on my experience; Everyone learn at different levels. Yard teachers did all they can to help me, and I struggled immensely behind the wheel. Not faulting them no; knew myself enough that if and when I am falling behind in learning, I BETTER put in extra work into studying on my own time. Even with the extra work, I failed twice at Phoenix Arizona; only to pass on my third retest. Some people just have it hard than others; and I've accepted my shortcomings by persisting. Don't give up, even when it feels unfair as hell srs. Lastly, I would like to thank you Monty for being superb at first impression. This man will get you in the door and work out all your paperwork admissions. Overall experience is still five stars. Fun fact: Had zero experience with trucks and EVERYTHING about it; Opening a driver side truck door from the inside was like trying to solve a puzzle.
Negative experience: I just completed school Friday June 3. Was always early and learned a lot. Don’s teaching in the classroom gave me the confidence to hop in the cab and drive. Gus and Eugene taught me some skills but Rose was the person who taught me the inside and outside of the rig. Literally. I was sent to Phoenix,AZ to test at 3am in a truck I’ve never driven. I only had 5 minutes of backing to get acquainted with a truck that’s mirrors would not adjust unless I put the truck in neutral, set the parking brakes and jumped into the passenger seat and manually adjusted. Then I had to hop back into the driver seat and hopefully it was set right for me but it wasn’t so I had to do this two or three times. I was told by my tester that I was trained wrong if I rely on the west coast mirrors. I don’t know what west coast mirrors are. All I know is I require working mirrors to perform my backup skills. Parallel parking at 3am killed me. I cannot see in the dark. I was never trained in the dark and I was never allowed to practice in the dark but they made me test in the dark. A new student with literally 0 experience was expected to perform in conditions never prepared for. And now I’m made to feel like it’s my fault that I failed. Wayne wouldn’t even look at the papers I brought back for him. But why would he since they’ve already been paid and are too busy with the next batch. I’ve found another school in Las Vegas that offers private lessons and will rent me the same truck I take my lessons in to take my driving test. And they won’t expect me to perform in the dark unless they teach/train me in the dark. It doesn’t matter to United Truck Driving School cause they’ve already been paid regardless if you pass.
Fantastic experience: I wanna start by saying Monty is a great admissions counselor. I learned alot in the classroom from armando and don. At the yard i picked up a little bit from everyone. Rose, armando and eugene are good trainers too!

Thank you to Mondo for the in class teachings to get your permit with such ease. Thank you to Brian at the yard for showing us how to control and drive the truck and tractor! I passed everything first try and it’s all thanks to these guys! And course thank you Monty for taking us in and Wayne for being so chill. Highly highly very highly I recommend this place for your CDL. And they only train in sleeper cabs with 53 foot trailers and manual only transmission. What more can you ask for a real world training scenario! God is great and now opportunities and open doors are coming my way!
Thank you so much for sharing your experience with us! We are so happy to hear you are ready for the open road. We know that you will see nothing but success in the trucking industry. Congratulations!
Fantastic experience: Monty is good guy to meet I'm so glad took the time to sign up for United

Fantastic experience: In a few words I can say, starting from enrollment with monty then classroom time with Armondo then truck time at the yard, with Brian. It was a great experience. This staff definitely sets you up to easily pass all tests as I did. I also need to mention Aron and Wayne are great guys as well.
Thank you so much for sharing your 5-star review with us! We are excited to see where this career will take you!.
Negative experience: Poor communiaction. The guy at riverside doesnt explain throughly, you have to ask all questions to get a responce………
Fantastic experience: Excellent school I had an awesome experience everyone was very respectful and patient Armando and Aaron were awesome taught me everything I needed to know plus some 10/10 would recommend this place !

Positive experience: Armando is the classroom instructor. He is funny, good people and knows his stuff. Be on time, study, do the work and you will have a job when you finish the course.
Thank you so much for sharing your experience with us!
Fantastic experience: Just finished my training with these folks and I can’t thank them enough, these guys will set you up for the dmv test real quick step by step, Armando, Monty, Aaron, Bryan, Wayne, all very knowledgable and patient with me and I am very grateful. Only way you fail out of this course is if you dont pay attention or act like you know it alll. Thanks again guys.
Thank you for the great review, Mathias! We are so glad you had a great experience training with us. We wish you nothing but the best in your new career!
Fantastic experience: If your reading this, that means your looking for a school and are unsure of where to go. Well let me just say you’ve looked and found it here! Awesome school teaches you everything you need to know from DMV knowledge to road knowledge, double clutching and driving a manual, even when you’ve never driven one before IN LIFE! You start off in the classroom preparing for the DMV Armando got you covered everything you need is in the guide EVERYTHING Monty’s pretty chill too whatever you need they got you. Then you go to the yard top instructors Brian, Erin, and Wayne will give you the knowledge and confidence you need just remember and stick to what they teach. My own personal experience fastest 30 days ever never driven a manual or semi truck before and I honestly feel like a pro a rookie but a pro nonetheless! If you happen to test in Phoenix REMEMBER stick to the script.
Thank you for the great review! We are glad you had a great experience training with us! Best of luck to you and your new career!
Fantastic experience: Great school I can’t say anything bad I had a great experience at United trucking and all the instructors are very helpful and show you everything you need to know I definitely recommend it if your looking for a good school you found it United truck driving school thank you for everything

Thank you for the great review, Greg! We are so happy you had a great experience with our instructors! Good luck with your new career, we wish you the best!
Fantastic experience: Having attended this school from beginning to end and coming out with my Class A CDL, I can't see a reason why this wouldn't be one of the best options to get a CDL. First off, the classroom instruction taught by Armando is fantastic. Having an instructor that has literal decades of experience means you can learn so much more than just the textbook. He makes it fun too with all of his stories and experiences. The yard instructors, Erin and Robert, do everything they can to help you succeed whilst being some of the most relaxed driving instructors I've had the pleasure of working with. You will definitely know if and when you make mistakes but it's always cool and calm unless you refuse to listen to them. The time spent in the yard and on the road will not make you the smoothest or safest driver, as that comes with experience, however, it will prepare you for the test and your first job in the industry. Being an accredited school means you get even more opportunities. Companies that wouldn't bat an eye at new recruits now won't stop contacting you. As you aren't tied into a contract with a company it also give you the flexibility to switch companies if you aren't satisfied or perhaps are ready to move on earlier than what a contract might allow. My time in class was a bit rough due to the COVID-19 pandemic, however, the school did everything in their power to push us forward and help us succeed. Overall, the price is fair, the staff is experienced and flexible, and the administration doesn't get enough credit.
We are so happy you had such a great experience with our staff! We know it is just as important to have a dedicated student to succeed! Good luck and make sure to stop by when you are in the area!
Fantastic experience: At United Truck Driving School all the staff are FANTASTIC!!! They are very professional and personable and will work with you one on one in a great down to earth manner. The staff here really do care , and if I was able to give more than a five star rating I would. They deserve it. Thank you United Truck Driving School for the wonderful experience, you have definately changed my life.
Thank you so much! We are so glad we were able to offer you a great experience!
Negative experience: Talked to dale or whatever his name is , and was talking to low, and I ask him a question twice and he started yelling , so I think that was rude , I guess I’ll look for another school
We are so sorry you had a poor experience. We have handled the incident internally.
Fantastic experience: This school was the BEST! Armando did a superb job with the classroom portion & he also took us to the yard to visualize everything we learned in class to get us ready for our permit test. Great instructor! Wayne, Robert, & Aaron in the yard, who were totally patient & properly trained us for the skills/road tests. They promoted a team concept with the other students instead of every one for themselves & it definitely helped in learning the information for our pre-trip inspections as well as motivating each other to succeed. Lastly, Phil, Dale, & Gary helped with both the enrollment as well as job placement, which definitely will help you with finding the job you WANT, based on your interests. IF you listen to your instructors & make the most of your time spent here, you'll have ZERO problems getting your license...THANKS AGAIN UTDS!!!
Thank you so much for your enthusiasm! We are very excited for you to continue a career in trucking!
Fantastic experience: Great school to attend. I learned so much in such a short amount of time, thank you to Wayne, Aaron, and Armando
Thank you so much! Keep in touch and let us know how life on the road is!
Fantastic experience: I would like to thank everyone at United for helping me in getting my CDL Class A license. I also would also like to personally thank Armando for his help in the classroom and also in the yard. I couldn't have done it without his help.
You're Awesome! We are excited to see where this career will take you. Please keep in touch Keith!
Fantastic experience: I wanted to personally thank the Riverside team for guiding me through the CDL process. Amber, Wayne, and Edwin were amazing in teaching me the finer points of obtaining my CDL. I would recommend United Truck Driving School for those who are serious in becoming a truck driver.
Thanks for the wonderful review, James! We really appreciate you taking the time to do so. We will pass on your kind words to our Riverside team. Wishing you all the best!
Fantastic experience: After researching half a dozen different truck driving schools in the IE area, I finally settled with United Truck Driving School. With an accredited 160-hour program, it has a curriculum many employers require for employment when you have no truck driving experience. I added a passenger endorsement to my class-A license, bumping it up to a 186 hr class. As a recent graduate, I can honestly say this place is the real deal. They emphasize safety and teach you what you need to know for your DMV exams. They will walk you through the entire process from beginning to end, even bring recruiters in to show you what's out there. There's no "hard sale" where they encourage you to sign up with anyone, but if you want to see some of what's out there, it comes to you. Amber (first 2 weeks)was awesome and made class fun, interesting, and real. You'll hear stories and get an authentic perspective and be prepared for the written exam, pre-trip, and airbrakes. For the driving instruction I had Wayne...he's the real deal. He teaches the basics before making sure you're equipped to handle your driving exam at the DMV, no joke. By the time the month was over, I felt comfortable driving down the road in huge Freightliner with a 48' trailer. Some schools put you in a day truck (no sleeper) with a 25' trailer...that's nonsense and really does you a disservice. Many employers will give you a road test before hire, so you better be able to handle a full-size tractor and trailer with a 10-spd manual transmission. Anyway, a big two-thumbs up for United Truck Driving School in Riverside! I got everything I needed to start my new career.

Negative experience: Dale tells you no cost carrier pays but makes you drive all the way there to try an run your credit and doesnt tell you its 940.00 down with a 650 credit score my credit score is too low wish i could have known this before driving down wasting my time .. Who knows how their school really is i wont find out

Fantastic experience: The instructors know their stuff. I was able to pass all my written tests, to include my motorcycle, and the driving skills test plus bus in my first try. I learned a lot from Amber, Wayne, Jason, and Edwin. Got my Class A CDL with all the endorsements. I had several job offers halfway through. Thank you all. The only thing I might point out is to have all the trucks test ready for example good tires.
Thanks for the great review Navpreet! We appreciate it! Congrats on passing on the first try! Best of luck out there! Stay safe!

Fantastic experience: Best school ever . Amazing staff , Amber is brilliant , you will learn A lot guaranteed !!!!
Negative experience: The office and classroom smell horrible and the representative of admission is very tough.
Negative experience: Called in to get information about attending the school for my Class A and the guy who answered was unprofessional and rude, I asked the price for the course and he told me but I didn't quite hear him so I said "I'm sorry I didn't hear you, How much was it?" And he responded loud and with an attitude and hung up the phone on me.
Fantastic experience: All instructors and teachers are amazing! Well informed and well experienced! They teach you everything you need to know to pass all tests and behind the wheel! Well wortth what you pay for!!
Negative experience: I had very aggressive instructor and she told me I need at least another 10 hours lesson. I get to another school and after two lessons, I have passed the DMV test today.
Fantastic experience: easy use of veterans benefits and great staff. They will teach you every thing you need to know to pass the DMV test and help you find a job. I was already getting job offers half way through school.
Fantastic experience: very helpfull passed my permit test with 100% they really teach you every aspect of the trucking industry. i went to the riverside UNITED and the teacher their was amazing. hopfully u decide to join the UNITED school if u want to find a job, i already have 5 offers!!!!
Negative experience: I have recently taken behind the wheel training at this school and found the school to be unprofessional, lacking in customer service, and a waste of money. During my training sessions my instructor did not show me any maneuvers for the actual DMV test, we just drove around my residential neighborhood. My instructor ended the sessions early and did not cover basic driving lessons. I called the business to see if I was able to get a refund or some kind of compensation for the time and money I lost but I was not offered anything other than what I already paid for. I would not recommend this school to anyone.
Negative experience: Very bad experience. First of all, my instructor's car was more like a trash bin ( filthy, smelt very bad) and was broken all the time ( left signal didn't work, car was blocked at the garage for weeks ). I was supposed to have a lesson with my instructor, she didn't even show up. I called her, she had forgotten our lesson and didn't feel sorry at all. She had these very conservative ( about homosexuals, divorced parents...) and religious opinions, and kept talking about them. On our last lesson, she was so angry that she stopped the lesson 30 minutes before the end. She told me I could tell my friends to take lessons with her instead of going with the driving school, so she didn't have to pay taxes. Don't go there, there are other driving schools in Riverside, that are cheaper.
