Negative experience: Annette fox was very rude to me I asked a couple questions and would rudely interrupted me every time I would ask her something and would answer me rudely I didn’t appreciate it :(

Fantastic experience: When I took their basic drivers course in 2019, I’ll admit I was less than impressed due to the overall lack of instruction. However, I recently took their MSF-endorsed motorcycle course and was beyond impressed. The instructors were very kind while still being serious and genuinely cared about the students’ safety and success. I 100% recommend the motorcycle course.

Fantastic experience: Professional and relatable to my teen. My daughter learned so much. Def buy the package that includes the test and the extra drives. It was simple and easy on the parent side with that package.

Fantastic experience: SUPERB driving school. Phenomenal classes, professional drivers/teachers that thoroughly prepare you for the permit and driving test. Having professional driving teachers come pick you up to help you practice your driving is significantly more beneficial than only practice with parents/21+ because the driving teachers have a vast amount knowledge and always keep up to date on it. My son went there and had his license on his 16th birthday. I went to Brown’s in 2007, so I’ve been driving for 16 years now. I still remember specific details I learned at Brown’s. I got my permit exactly six months before my 16th birthday, so when I was 15.5. Therefore, I was able to get my license on my 16th birthday. Exact date. Passed both first try. Thank you all at Brown’s Driving School for providing effective classes for decades.

Fantastic experience: My daughter came to Brown's Driving School for driving instruction, and passed. She got her license first try, and my car battery died in the parking lot, and they kindly gave me a jump. I recommend them for your teen driver starting out.

Fantastic experience: I am a former Brown's student from the south OKC location where I received my motorcycle endorsement. We recently moved to Norman and have enrolled our son and will soon be enrolling another. Brown's instructors are very thorough. The classes keep all participants engaged regardless of skill level.

Negative experience: So the driving instructor on my 1st & 3rd drive, was absolutely wonderful! I wish I could give him 5 stars. He helped me more than anyone else. The one on the 2nd was okay. Made me a little anxious but overall wasn’t bad. Just Don’t test at this location. The guy who did my test was absolutely a jerk.

Negative experience: Don't buy the larger Driver's Ed packages. They won't do any of the extra services and then blame it on covid. When asked about why they still are offering them when they already know they will not do the extra services they just say it's not their problem.

Negative experience: Do not purchase the ultimate package with the extra drives unless you know you need extra practice. We thought our son would need practice so we bought the largest package. Once he started driving it was obvious he didn’t need the extra drives. We were told that we could not down grade our package. I feel like we wasted $400 that could have gone toward his car or even a credit toward his sisters drivers ed would have been fine. His instructor told him he didn’t need more drives. So disappointed. They just want your money.

Fantastic experience: Good experience for my daughter. The various instructors she found useful because she got constructive feedback from different perspectives. I also like that you can request your instructor. I appreciate that they were always timely even when they had to wait for the parent of the student before, we never lost any of our paid time. I appreciate their professionalism, immediate feedback after each drive, and more comprehensive feedback emailed late. Helps focus attention on what we needed to work on.

Fantastic experience: Savage is a BEAST!! He’s awesome!! Riley absolutely loves him. He Is an excellent teacher. Thankful Riley is learning from him as I’m not a good driver. He’s taught her how to be conscious of what is required of her to be a good driver. He was patient, clear on directions and so easy to get along with. Thank you Savage!!

Fantastic experience: My son had a great experience with Brown’s! The teachers are very patient and thorough with what they teach. Savage did one of my son’s practice drives and my son’s test prep and he passed on his first try.

Fantastic experience: Shout out to SAVAGE! Everyone at Brown's that we encountered over the course of putting 2 kids (in 2 years) through driving school has been amazing. Savage was by far my kids favorite instructor, and mine. After each drive Savage would always give me a report of how well they did and what they needed help on, plus letting me know how we could help them at home. My daughter was such a tense beginner, but he helped build her confidence and today she passed first try! Savage, I'm so thankful that we picked Brown's and that you were there to help! If you are reading this looking for a driving school to enroll your child in, I would HIGHLY recommend Brown's Driving School!

Fantastic experience: Browns driving school has been a great experience for us & as of today we have another licensed driver in the family!! I would request Mr Savage as a driving instructor as he really relates to the kids & puts them at ease. Becca looked forward to her drives with him. He was always super flexible, knowledgeable, & helpful. He even checked on her the day before her test, answered questions & was excited for her when she passed! Fantastic experience: Brown's Driving School was an excellent learning experience and Instructor Savage was phenomenal! He was very kind and patient with my son and made the experience fun for him, putting his mind at ease. Needless to say, my son passed thanks to Brown's Driving School. We will use them in the future and I recommend requesting Instructor Savage.

Instructors are friendly and want students to feel comfortable. Communication was great and I would highly recommend taking the driving exam through Brown's as well.

Fantastic experience: Sent my son here for school and it was flawless! They were on time picking him up for the driving time, worked with his schedule for the drive times, did a great job prepping him for the driving test. They communicated very well on everything parents need to be aware of in helping their kids get a permit and license. I will be sending another kid in 6 months. For those that complain about the video and grumpiness of the instructors, 1) If it's one less body that someone has to pick up because of reckless driving it's worth. You are getting a license and people are depending on you not to kill them because you think you're invincible. 2) The drives are to help you gauge where you are as a driver and part of that has to do with listening. Pay attention, actively listen, and be polite. I can't imagine the number of times they have had close calls because some in distracted.

Negative experience: Absolutely awful. They use the video "Red Asphalt" which, for those unfamiliar, is basically a video of dead children and mangled bodies telling you not to speed. It's disturbing and extremely unnecessary. Further, the instructors got worse every drive. They would get pissy when you became confused and yell when you needed help

Negative experience: The first instructor wouldn't stop talking and was riding the break so hard that he may as well have been in the driver seat. The second instructor was too busy yelling to actually teach anything. The guy he was training who was sitting in the back seat actually helped way more and he only ever said anything after the drive. This isn't how you teach someone to do anything. He was rude, condesending and destroyed any chance of me learning with his attitude. By the end of the drive I kept messing up because of the ridiculous way that he was acting. I learned much more by driving with my dad in a relaxed atmosphere. Don't waste your money.. Unless you just want to pay somebody to yell at you/your kids for an hour.

Fantastic experience: Took the motorcycle class here just recently. My experience was awesome and I learned a lot. I went from no experience to being able to get my license and a bike to practice on. The instructors really work with you and have a lot of experience. Class sizes make it a maximum of five people per instructor which is perfect. I would definitely recommend taking this course versus trying to take your tests at DPS w/o much experience. Take the class seriously and it will be an awesome time and more than worth it!!

Fantastic experience: They helped with all the logistics as far as paperwork and what we needed to do down to the letter.. The last instructor for the final session was superb with a very nice attitude. You'll need to practice in between yes, but the instruction was good.

Negative experience: Scheduled a motorcycle course with them and was unable to get the class date I originally purchased so i had to reschedule my class and couldn't get a refund. arrived at their next class about 10 min late and they turned me away and told me to come back another time after i drove all the way from Tulsa Oklahoma. I asked if i could just get a refund since i could use the original date i signed up for and they said they were unable to give me a refund. So after wasting two round trips to Oklahoma City i gave up them. They kept my money and i got nothing but anger and and a headache in return. Ended up just teaching myself to ride instead of having to deal with these people which is what i recommend to anyone. I deal a lot in customer service and this is not how you help someone. Worst experience i have ever had with any business.

Negative experience: They teach kids to kill animals. They tell them if an animal runs in front not to avoid it. Instead of teaching them how to handle their vehicle properly they say to kill the animal.

Negative experience: I helped my girlfriend pay for the coarse, it was $300 dollars (not including the cost to take your test there) and I just want to tell everyone DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY. Browns *might* put inexperienced drivers on the right path, but she learned much more and gained more experience just driving with me off and on every weekend. This is the way to go, these three hour long sessions won't do anything, keep your money and put it towards gas. I also want to throw this out there, we paid the 40 for her to take her test there and she failed it, siting that she turned into the wrong lane (something she's never once did while driving.) After they failed they were extremely quick to offer us another training session (a mere $150 dollars.) We saved the money, turned around and went to the local dmv the next day and she got her licence. She passed with flying colors. This could be them being scandalous, or it could be her just being nervous and making a mistake, point is overall it was a waste of money. There are cheaper courses you can take to help lower your insurance premium.
