Fantastic experience: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ After a disappointing experience with another school (US Mule) where I paid and failed my CDL test, I decided to go to Truckar CDL School for a retest—and I’m so glad I did! The instructor was extremely knowledgeable and took me on a route similar to where my road test would be held, helping me get comfortable with the area. I only had a one-hour class, and thanks to their excellent training, I passed on my first try with this school. Imagine what could be accomplished with a 10-hour class! Fantastic experience: I am so happy that I found this school this was my 2nd school and the 1st one is a big name but do not teach you well as the teacher here. He will teach you exactly like what the test is going to be. If you are not a good manual driver this school is not for you that is the only thing. But hands down he will have you ready to pass the test.

Negative experience: I’ve had very bad experiences with this school of preparing for my CDL A class license. The first thing they only accept cash which is ridiculous in 2021. I paid for the package which includes 10 lessons and a road test. The actual lesson length is around 35-40 minutes During my lessons they switched teachers every lesson and the new teacher explained to me the same things again. He doesn’t speak English well so it was hard for me to understand him. I’ve noticed he was rude and mean to me. He didn’t want to explain carefully so I understand. He explained it once and the next time he was complaining I don’t do it right instead of explaining. They gave me manuals after the 7th lesson. So I’ve had only a couple of days to memorize my pre-trip inspection. At the end of the course, trey said you are not ready yet, and take like 7-5 lessons more! to make sure you’re ready! I took only 3 more. I almost missed my road test because they sent a text message with my appointment to another person. They also said to come for the test at 7:30 but my actual test was 8:30 so I was freezing for one hour under the bridge. I failed my test and made a call to reschedule for another one. I texted them but didn’t get me to call back. After 3 days I asked them again and they said to bring the money first to the school. I told them before I can pay the same day as my road test. So I spent more time bringing cash to the school and they promised to schedule and call me back the same day what they of course didn’t. I made a call one more day later and they promised to call me back again and they didn’t!!! I’ve had 2 lessons every week. Sometimes 1 which is not enough. I wanna forget this school like a nightmare. Save your nerves and time. Choose another school. I don’t like to complain but they deserved it. It’s too many situations. They only want more money and don’t care about reputation. I'll put one more star just because of Francisco is a professional teacher. He know how to teach right way

Negative experience: I only call to get information about the truck trailer class, apparently the owner is the same instructor, he was given class to someone at the same time talking to me and at the end he was very disrespectful and rude!

Positive experience: Im happy to say that thanks to nelson I’ve officially passed my CDL A. I see alot of people talking about the trucks transmission and that he doesn’t speak proper english. Im here to say that its false obviously if u dont know how to shift a manual transmission its going to be hard especially on a truck that has alot of power but when u listen and pay attention you will get the hang of it. Nobody is perfect and I understand that it can be little rough if you dont speak spanish because its his main language but he is definitely understandable and explains things the right way. I respect him for the simple reason that ge doesn’t sugar coat things he will tell what you did wrong right then and there. Thank you Nelson

Negative experience: Instructor eating and on the phone(headset) entire time. This place would have worked in the 80's and 90's. Complete waste of my time and money. Nice guy but that's about it. I felt like his chauffer more than a student while practicing my CDL-A. Avoid the owners lessons. He is too laid back. I eventually found a better school. Reminder: don't ask anyone what school they went to. Do your own inquiries and research that will benefit you. Tough time translating his english into proper english. Do What Works For You.

Negative experience: The transmission of the truck for the class A CDL test does not work well, the changes do not enter well, therefore the students have a greater risk of failing the road test and losing their money.

Fantastic experience: I am a recent student of Truckar Driving School for CDL. I passed my DMV road test on the first try. I came from a local school which screw me up and wasted over $1000 on hour class. the main thing I would say your money is 100% worth it here, Now that does not mean that you will be ready at the time of your Dmv test. You must study and dedicate time. pay attention to all the instructions and information Truckar will provide.

Negative experience: I took two lessons here on their bus. The first lesson went okay but the second was a disaster. It was hard for me to understand the instructor's English . He was very impatient and made me very nervous during the lesson. He even yelled at me a few times as if I were a child. I'm the first to admit that my driving skills need improvement - isn't that why I'm going to a driving school in the first place? - but the instructor had me thinking I should give up entirely. I really felt defeated. It took me a few weeks to work up the nerve to call a different CDL driving school to try again. I did end up going to another place where the instructor is way more patient and knowledgeable, and is easier to understand. I'm doing better there. I should also mention that the Truckar instructor was a bit unprofessional - after the first lesson he tried to sell me his tax prep services and during the second lesson he was blabbing about the previous student being "learning disabled" because the student didn't understand him. It hurts to write this review since the owner and his nephew who works in the office were super nice and accommodating and the prices are reasonable. Unfortunately the instructor wasn't that great. By the way, the pre-trip inspection handout they give out has several typographical errors that are hard to ignore.

Positive experience: Mr. Madera is the best teacher you will know he really care, and will rebuke you most of the time but Don't lose HOPE. I had little experience driving before, and he taught me in 3 lessons. Just hours ago I passed my License test.

Fantastic experience: GREAT DRIVING SCHOOL. Passed my CDL Class B road test with 8 lessons! Study the handle out that they give you, it gives you everything you need to know about the bus pre-inspection.

Fantastic experience: I would recommend this driving school because they have a driving instructor name Mara who is great! Literally Mara is the most understanding instructor I've had. After failing terribly multiple times at a different driving school, When I came to Mara. She reassured me confidence that she could get me to pass the road test and actually learn how to become a good driver. Mara, takes the time to improve on your skills and teach you new ones. If you looking for an instructor at this school I highly recommend you ask for MARA!! I passed my road test and will be forever thankful for the time and dedication Mara gave me during my lessons.

Negative experience: They truck and school bus for the driving is very very old and obsolete. The bus is about 30years old and most of the signal don't work properly.. I will never ever recommend anyone who really want to pass his or her CDL road test to attend this driving school.... I failed my 1st road test because of the poor state of their old school bus.
