Fantastic experience: Hands down one of the best decisions we have made in a while. Seeing my son grow in his confidence toward driving and seeing myself grow in my confidence towards his driving was a major relief. James Dix III is the kind of driving instructor I wish that I could have had millennia ago. I can't recommend Circle City Driving Academy enough. And it takes a lot of pressure off of the parent knowing that the child will be able to complete the driving competency portion of the licensure process in a comfortable environment. Because B.M.V.....need I even say more! I'll throw in an extra five stars to make it a full 10 out of 10.

Fantastic experience: I took the 30 hours online course lessons and 8 hours of behind the wheel driving lessons with James Dix III. He is a phenomenal driving instructor and taught me how to better myself not only as a driver but as a person. He helped me to become more confident and believe in myself and taught me valuable life lessons during our instruction, and I feel more confident in my life and as a driver, I am currently completing my driving log and aim to complete the driver's test with him as well. I highly recommend him as a teacher, life coach, motivator, and driving instructor. I felt very safe during the lessons and he helped me challenge myself and build upon areas that needed improvement with each succeeding lesson. Fantastic experience: I took the comfortable 30-hour online course and the behind the wheel driving training under the professional guidance of Mr. James Dix III. The instruction was clear, concise, and really taught me how to become a safe and conscientious driver. I also got to unlearn bad habits in relaxed and patient atmosphere. After all of that good instruction, I scheduled and took the Road Test with Circle City Driving Academy while the BMV was fully booked and I passed the Road Test! 5-stars!

Fantastic experience: My son just completed the online drivers ed course and the 6 hour drive sessions with Dr. James. I was initially very nervous as a first time parent of a driving kiddo. Upon meeting Dr. James my mind was put as ease with his calm and collected demeanor. After each driving session, I noticed my son becoming more and more confident. Fantastic experience: Our 15 year old daughter was so excited to take driving lessons. She looked up several different options, and then asked if I could sign her up at Circle City Driving Academy. I’m so glad she found this place - it was a great experience. Dr. James provided her with a lot of helpful advice, and she improved her skills in a variety of driving situations. It was also very nice that he offers lessons from 7-8 am so she could do it before school. My daughter now feels confident and well prepared to get her drivers license.

Fantastic experience: I visit Indianapolis occasionally and have taken 2 driving lessons at Circle City Academy. James is a great instructor and instills good practices by building good driving foundations (where to look on the road, how to properly coast, level of pressure to push on breaks when merging, stopping, turning etc.) Additionally, James is communicative, prompt and reliable. I did the pick up/drop off option while booking and James showed up on time, along with automated reminders. Anytime I have a question, he answers within 24 hours. Lastly, the online booking system is great! It automatically schedules, books and sends reminders to me. Highly recommend Circle City and will be coming back again for lessons.

Fantastic experience: Best Driving school in Indy. James is friendly, passionate and professional. I was very nervous in the beginning. Within a few classes, I became more confident in driving. The academy offers different packages to choose from and also provides Road Skill Test, which is a huge plus. I could do the test with him in the same car I learned driving. All these made me feel more relaxed & I could pass my driving test on the first attempt. I definitely recommend.

Fantastic experience: Dr. James is the best. I was never a confident driver and would go through periods of just not driving at all. He helped me feel much more relaxed and made me focus more on what I was doing. I was able to finally pass my over due road test with way less anxiety than I ever would have if I had not spent some time with him and just gone to the BMV on my own. Dr. James is a calm and reassuring presence and really knows how to be patient and understanding.

Fantastic experience: I knew most of the basics before I first drove with Dr Dix but I really learned to fine tune my skills and become a more comfortable driver with my lessons with him. I also chose to take my driving test with him in my neighborhood which definitely helped me feel more confident in passing my test!

I enrolled for the 8 hours or the Silver package. One of the most important aspects was their coming to and dropping me off at my home. If that is an important thing, the extra $25 a time is well worth the cost. I cannot recommend Circle City Driving enough! Top notch.

Fantastic experience: The in-car instruction was excellent! and having our official driving exam completed by the same instructor we'd come to know removed a lot of the anxiety from being tested. The process of getting licensed at the BMV went smoothly. Highly recommend for in-car and exam. However, when we did the on-line portion of the program there were lots of bugs and frustrations - so before signing on, def ask if their on-line problems have been solved.

He was very nice and guided me really well! I’ve learned so much from him! I could go on and on about how great he was. I was extremely nervous about taking this course, but Dr. James made me feel super welcome and comfortable! He’s super easy to get along with, and helped me feel safe and secure while driving with him. My confidence with driving has been boosted a lot from this!! The after lesson evaluations are also really nice. It was helpful to look back on pointers that Dr. James gave me, and how the lesson went in general. I was prepared for anything a good driver would need preparing for! Couldn’t have asked for a better instructor!!
