Fantastic experience: Had an incredible experience getting adult driving lessons from Swerve driving school at woodinville. So glad I found this place. I took lessons with a few different instructors and most were great, Garett and Bogdan in particular. I used to have anxiety driving, Garett’s calm and methodical way of teaching really helped me ease in to driving and get over it. He was able to break a lot of bad driving habits I had acquired over the years by pinpointing them regularly, for example doing shuffle steering, instead of hand over hand. The codes Garett and Bogdan taught, such as SMMOG (for merges), LICAAS(lock, ignition, cellphone, adjust front mirror, adjust side mirror, seat adjustment) for things to do on entering car, really helped me be more systematic about driving and build habits to do things in the right order. Bogdan explained all maneuvers such as parallel parking very well. I have taken lessons previously at another driving school where the instructor was sometimes even more anxious than I was while driving, and that definitely didn’t help my anxiety, so I really appreciated the calmness these instructors exhibited as it helped me gain confidence in my driving skills.

Also, he introduced me to the things that I need to pay more attention to daily, and those are helpful for my daily driving. I passed the road test, and thank you very much.

Fantastic experience: Swerve was a most bodacious driving school, much superior to other driving schools. The classes were fun and engaging and the in person drives were great. Garret and Bogden are amazing instructors and my favorites out of all of them I’ve interacted with. I would 100% suggest this school to my friends. Party on dudes.

Fantastic experience: School was cheaper than competitors at the time I signed up. All the staff there are wonderful (shout out to Bogdan, hands down best instructor, can even do lessons in Russian if you prefer). The lessons didn't waste time while I was there (excpet ZED I didn't like that, but its quick and online so not too bad). Some other reviews complain about not being able to get anyone on the phone or not receiving responses for emails but we had a great time with this aspect.

Fantastic experience: This was a very educational school. Bogdan, one of the instructors was very helpful and always took time with his student to make sure they understand a maneuver and made it easier for them to learn so that they could be a safe and responsible driver without feeling stressed out whenever they are on the road. Highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: Bogdam was driving evaluator and they were rad as hell. Bogdam was friendly, funny, and informative, and made the testing process a smooth one. Maybe give Bogdam a raise, ehh?

Negative experience: My son, who already has anxiety, was constantly badgered by the driving instructor during the practice drives. As a result, his driving anxiety has worsened. Now we are at Drive911. The instructor there is awesome and helping my son through the additional anxiety created by Swerve. I WOULD NOT recommend Swerve for anybody.

Fantastic experience: Incredible friendly reception from Janie! A very comprehensive education, making me quite successful in obtaining my license. Would certainly recommend to those who would like their child to really understand the rules of the road, or even for an adult themselves to finally get to moving on the road!

Fantastic experience: I'm an adult learner, and all the instructors have helped me so much! Bogdan has been especially patient with me. I also have to often change my drives due to my crazy schedule, and the front desk/receptionists are always awsome.

Positive experience: Honestly, as a student that attended Swerve driving school, I would rate a 4/5. This is bc of high pricing, but also it was worth going through the training to become a skillful driver from Garret and learning skills I didn't know before. As well as the after part of zooms and Driver's Ed, when I needed help and was confused on specific questions I would be able to get answers from Janie and her little mascot(doggo) Annie:) They help me through the process of getting my permit and helped me pass my drive test.

Fantastic experience: I am very thankful for all the wonderful driving instructors especially Garrett and Phil. They both taught me some very important skills that I will continue to practice as I drive. Fantastic experience: This school made driving a much easier and stress free task then it had first seemed. I was mainly instructed by a man named Phil who patient yet quick to help you do better and succeed. He really helped push me out if my typical comfort zone to help me secure my license and I'll forever be appreciative for it.

Negative experience: Took me around a year to get my license from this place, they are terribly organized, and they’re front desk lady sent me the wrong zoom link to makeup my class, causing me to postpone being able to take my drivers tests

Negative experience: Not even sure how all of these 5's are on here are you people blind? You cannot ever get anyone on the phone, they do not respond to emails, cannot schedule drives for my child and so so much more. I am so frustrated I cannot even think straight and then have to attempt to put on a brave face for my student so that they continue to thrive. Whatever! I fully get COVID has us all messed up, but its been 18 months you must learn to pivot and adjust or CLOSE!

They have really improved (the teachers were always great, but drive times used to be more challenging to schedule locally) .My second child had no trouble scheduling local drive times. Walter is a wonderful, patient teacher. Highly recommend this school!

He taught them the essential skills of driving to be safe and aware drivers. The Swerve-isms were helpful to remember what to do when driving. Top notch and close to the high school are added bonuses. Great experience and would recommend!!!

Fantastic experience: Just finished all my school stuff at Swerve. My favorite instructor is Walter! Walter is super super nice, caring, and passionate about teaching kids to drive. I would 10000% recommend this school, as well as having Walter as your teacher.

Fantastic experience: Walter is an amazing driving instructor and is super awsome. The classes are super helpful and the swirvisms are good mantras to drive by. The best one is SMMOG. Overall one of the most fun and productive classes I've ever taken.

Fantastic experience: I had a great time at swerve with my instructor Walter, he did a great job teaching and on my drives and beings in a class with my friends was informative and fun! So glad I chose swerve and I am confident to drive on the road! Tons of woodinville know and love the class and Linda made singing up and drives easy

Fantastic experience: I learned from Walter at this place. He is a very experienced professional. He not only taught me how to drive but also focused on building my confidence from day1. He explained the rules very nicely and started focusing on my driving skills immediately. He is very organized and will make sure that you can also drive on Freeways! (Of course if you are comfortable). I took $350 package 5 lessons and final test and I could feel confidence in me from day1-2. Beware from others out in the market who will waste 50% your time in explaining rules instead of focusing on driving skills.

Negative experience: The classes are fine. all is fine. Except for the bullshit pricing. "The Student" package does not include the actual test to get a license. That is 50-70 dollars more on top of the 570 dollar price. Like buying a car only to discover the wheels cost extra "Oh, did you want to actually use the car?" None of the DOL offices do testing. So, parents, when pricing out the cost of getting your child licensed...add the extra tarrif for actually getting a license

Positive experience: Although they were a little frustrating to deal with when it came to coordinating drives and practice hours, it was a good experience for me. I LOVED Micheal; he was like the embodiment of "chill" while also being a really good teacher. I'd recommend SWERVE to anyone who is patient with having to leave messages and who is looking for a more relaxed driving school atmosphere. Cheers.
