First Drive Driving School

Fantastic experience: My wife recently completed my driving test at First Driving School, and I couldn't be happier with my experience. Our instructor, Sudha, was incredibly patient and always took the time to explain everything in detail. This made drive much less stressful and more relaxed. The test was simple and well-informed, and instructor made sure that she never felt rushed or pressured. Would refer it to anyone planning to take a driving test in a supportive and professional environment.

Fantastic experience: I highly recommend this place! I’ve been learning how to drive with my driving instructor Sudha. I can’t say anything negative about my experience when working with her. She makes driving a lot less stressful! The knowledge she has given me has made me feel more comfortable when learning everything I need to know about driving!

Negative experience: I hate to leave bad reviews and especially for small businesses. The staff here is very unprofessional when it comes to being on time. My daughter took lessons here and we would arrive at the driving school before time and find out the instructor wasn’t there… then had to wait 40 mins in the parking lot. As for teaching I think they did a good job. My daughter is confident and was able to pass her test. I would suggest that you stay away.

Negative experience: I paid for a driving lesson for my son. I see no where to schedule the driving lesson on the portal. I have emailed, called both #’s MULTIPLE times and text both #’s. No Response. I will be reporting them to the BBB

Negative experience: Do not recommend! Still waiting on a response in what my daughters next driving lesson will be since September so I have practically moved on. Do not use their services, their communication skills are the worst & the one driving lesson my daughter received, i was told the instructor was on the phone the whole time doing multiple things, dangerous! Negative experience: Extremely frustrated, I have been trying to reach this school to see what my daughters next step is and they haven’t reached out to me but they already got paid. Its been 3 weeks & no word from them after several messages from me. Do not recommend.

To avoid long queues and long waiting hours...she just comes to our doorsteps and pickup us for the class .Highly recommend for new drivers

Negative experience: Do not send your teen driver here! Classroom time is completely on their own no instructor or help! They have 1 car and 1 instructor for driving lesson. Trying to schedule drive time is inconvenient and they always over book themselves so wait times (to drive) are horrible and they don’t care. Not much instruction given during drive time either. Owner/Instructor is rarely there bcus she is either not there at all or out driving. Very hard to get answers on program, fees and unorganized. Be sure you know what you are paying for and get it in writing. At first I referred several people and now regret it.

Negative experience: The worst place I ever came into. The instructors were not helpful and always delayed appointment over unreasonable excuses. Failed to demonstrate all required techniques needed in road test. Charging extra money for resuming course. Never on time. Hard to find the instructor on phone.

Negative experience: I wish I checked out the reviews before enrolling my daughter into this suppose to be school. She informed me that they give students the page # and answers to pass the written test. Now its time to drive and they dont have a car. The instructor was a hour late and she still did not drive. What was the point of paying $400 if they do not teach students how to drive? They are a damn fool if they think they are going to get $40 a hour for a private driving lesson. Negative experience: Please don't waste your money or time! This is not a driving school, where they actually teach you how to drive at all. They take your money, stick you in room with a video for a week. There are no driving lessons, they don't even have a car! Their communication is horrible. They should be ashamed of themselves ripping people off like this!!

Negative experience: Very unprofessional. This is my sisters first week coming and I've literally had to wait 20 minutes for the instructor to get here two days in a row. We all have work to attend if this specific teacher can't make it on time everyday I'd suggest hiring someone else. I am very upset with this school.

Negative experience: First Drive Driving School in Irving Tx, across street from Mc Arthur High School they take your money about $450.00/ student, they teach you with computer lessons then they have you jumping thru hoops trying to get legal paper work which has a time limit then when its time to drive they don't have a car to complete your course. they have been giving my daughter Mary Cariaga the run around for over a month. they schedule you a time for your driving lesson yhen they cancel it without telling you.then they re-scheduke you because they don't have a car. thanks Mary's mother, Mary Martin
