Fantastic experience: Bill is very experienced and has a great passion for teaching driving. He is extremely patient and holds very high standards for himself and his students which was important for me as a mom. I highly recommend Bill for anyone learning to drive, and especially if you’re an older or nervous driver, Bill is definitely a great instructor of choice. He will help you overcome your hang ups and give you great tips. I passed my road test on my first try :)

Fantastic experience: Bill is amazing! I went to him nervous and filled with anxiety, but Bill is a gentle giant! He made me do deep breathing and always stayed at the same tone with me! He gave me the courage to drive safe with the knowledge of keeping the road rules! I couldn’t ask for someone better than him! Now I’m about to send my teenager to him! All he ask is that you wear proper shoes to drive ! He recommended sneakers!

Negative experience: My son took the 5 hour course online and paid for it and he didn't get it. He call east end driving school and they told him he has to get the instructor to help him receive it. We are still waiting

Positive experience: 3.5 Stars, 1 thing really bad. I received my certificate after a week, scheduling the appointment for the 5 hours course was easy, and the course was good, but there's one thing really bad: the customer service. If you have any doubts after taking the course or before, you won't have any answer. Don't even waste your time calling them because they don't enswer the calls. None is in the office, and there is no answer via email. If in any case you don't receive your certificate, none is going to solve your problem and you will have to pay more for an appointment. If you don't have any problems with it, your good.

Negative experience: Great instructors, lousy communication. Like another reviewer stated, after completing my 5 hour online course my certificate was never received in the mail. After contacting their office multiple times, (heads up if you want to give them a quick call just keep in mind they forward all their calls to voicemail and then play the message back to determine if they should call you back) they finally got around to me and setup a time to pick up a duplicate of my certificate despite me never receiving my original. I recommend this place if your lacking essential driving instructions, but be wary of this “store front” driving school, no one is in the building unless you setup an appointment (and that’s only if they listen to your voicemail :) ).

Fantastic experience: My daughter took Drivers Ed, where the parents teach her and she has been driving with her permit for a year. We decided to have Bill from East End Driving School teach her the “correct” ways of driving and what they look for on the road test. He was great with her and Bill took her for practice and her road test today and she aced it!! Highly recommend Bill at East End Driving School.

Fantastic experience: Bill is very experienced- he knows all the rules that we as parents have most likely forgotten since we passed our own tests years ago. He was patient and prepared our daughter very well for her road test. The points she got taken off were for things he reminded her about every week. She passed her first time and I don’t think she would have without Bill’s expertise and dedication to his job.

Negative experience: This place is a rip off. My son took the 5 hour class but never received the certificate. When we called, the guy said they certainly mailed it but he was not able to proof when and it was not sent certified so he blamed the post office. They only issue a duplicate for additional $38. Never using them again. Guy was rude on the phone and makes you feel like it is your fault he did not send it.

Fantastic experience: Ricky was a very good driving instructor, gave amazing construct criticism that made me better as a driver after a couple of lessons and would recommend to anyone.

Fantastic experience: This man Mr Bill is great I personally took a 45 minutes lesson with him and that was it first try passed the road test thanks Mr bill oh by the way if he doesn’t pick up the phone leave him a message he will get back to you as soon as possible he’s out of the office most of the time teaching people or just giving them a lesson . My sessions with Bill were from August through the end of November 2020 and I'm happy to report that I passed my road test on the first try. Bill ensured that I was well prepared and he taught the rules of the road -- not just to pass the road test but to truly be a defensive and considerate driver. Fantastic experience: Bill is nothing short of amazing - he is patient, observant, professional and dedicated to excellence - I cannot say this enough. He instructs and utilizes proper and safe driving techniques. He thinks outside of the box to help address any weaknesses and help you fix them. Above all, he goes above and beyond the call of duty. Sure he requires you to wear sneakers, but that is all part of practicing safe and proper driving techniques and I cannot imagine how this can be seen as an inconvenience in any way. Fantastic experience: My husband and I are very pleased with the lessons our daughter took at East End Driving School. Although she took Driver's Ed, we spent the extra time and money knowing it was one of the best things we could do for our children (our son took lessons 2 years ago) to ensure extra safety and EDUCATION on how to respect the safety of herself and others while operating a vehicle. The quality of the driving instructor and the value of one-on-one learning is so different from group drivering education. We highly recommend East End Driving School. Thank you Bill! Fantastic experience: Bill was so transparent, patient, and very nice and professional towards me. I haven't had that much practice before i came to him about 1-2 months ago, came roughly around 2 times to 1 time a week. Improved my driving INCREDIBLY. Would recommend to anyone out there looking for lessons. Passed yesterday on my first try, and was very nervous, but thats just in my nature. He and I both knew i had it, and i did. Fantastic experience: I took the 5 hour course online a few weeks ago. I have recently moved and did not change the address on my permit so it was sent to the old address, I called and told them the situation and Bill said he would give me a call when he got the certificate back undeliverable. So 3 weeks go by and I'm thinking it got lost, however I got a call from Bill saying he got my certificate back so I programed an appointment and picked it up. They were very helpful and professional about everything.

Negative experience: The 5 hour class was fine and so was the teacher. But I called them literally so many times during office hours visited their place during office hours but no one picked up and no one was there. I asked them to re-issue my licensing document so I can pick it up as it went to wrong address they told me to wait which I did and another 20 days pass I hear nothing from them and they won’t issue a refund or get me my licensing form either.

Negative experience: Worst experience ever people .. do not give them the time of day.. these guys are scam artists. There is so many other reputable driving schools out there people use any other one and you will be fine I'm taking my 5 hour course for the second time in 2 weeks due to this scam

Negative experience: This review is for the 5hr pre-licensing course. three words: Awful customer service. I called five times during business hours on Wednesday and nobody picked up the phone. I called the following Monday and finally someone answers. I save a spot to attend TWO WEEKS IN ADVANCE. When the day finally comes, I get there 15 min before sign-in time, but its all chaos there. There's like 50 people crammed in there, and this older man with glasses with a notebook is going through what looked like a hand-written messy list and surprise, surprise i'm NOT ON THE LIST. I approach and explain the situation to the old guy, but hes no willing to listen. If I'm not on the list then there's nothing he can do. This place needs to learn to stop mismanaging their service. BEWARE.

Fantastic experience: East end driving school is the place to go...youll never be more happier with the patience and time they give their students...i get nervous quick and trust me yousef helped me overcome that fear...he was very helpful and he took me step by step of becoming a driver...you can tell it's NOT all about the money but it's a job they do from the HEART and like any other teacher they want the best from their students...i did my road test yesterday and I passed with honors lol...so I am recommending this school to each and everyone who is looking to start a new chapter of driving....Thanks to EAST END DRIVING SCHOOL

Fantastic experience: East End Driving School is the best place around. Bill is professional, courteous and friendly. Most importantly, his goal is to teach students to be SAFE drivers, not just "pass" the road test. My children all received perfect scores on their road tests and could not have done so without Bill's instruction.

Negative experience: Poor customer service . I went for my daughters 2nd driving lesson Friday and before the lesson I wanted to confirm what time I needed to be back Monday since it was my daughter’s road test at 3. The instructor said oh you didn’t get a call , I was like WHAT !! He said I have jury duty and don’t know if I can take her ( booked them 1 mth in advance ) I was like are you kidding me . It’s Friday at 4:30 and you tell me now ! I said there is no one else that can’t take her , he said nope ! My daughter was so upset and we walked out . Be aware !!!!

Fantastic experience: Bill taught my daughter 12 years ago and he was wonderful. He made driving fun,taught her the rules of the road. My daughter had severe tunnel vision. My daughter failed her road test many times, Bill took her to the road test and she finally passed. Now she is 27 and she has been a wonderful, observant driver. Now it's time to make a phone call years later for my son. Thanks Bill

Within my first two visits I noticed an outstanding imporvement in my driving skills and confidence. Bill made me feel comfortable and relaxed before my exam. Fantastic experience: I just passed my test with the help of Bill, the East End Driving School teacher. He was everything one could wish for with a driving instructor. Kind, patient, skilled and funny, I wouldn't have been able to pass my test had it not been for him. I would recommend his services to everyone learning how to drive.

Negative experience: I was going to give this place zero stars, but it turns out I can't submit a review with zero stars. When we entered, a man met us at the desk. Unfortunate I do not know his name. (He was a Caucasian male with glasses). At any rate, I had forgotten to bring sneakers. He was all too happy to send us down the street to buy $60 sneakers. We accommodatingly bought the sneakers and returned. My mom then asked if it would be okay if he didn't teach the pivot foot trick for the break. You see, we have a stick-shift car and pivoting doesn't work with those peddles. She merely wanted him to be aware of the type of car we owned. He thought she was saying she was a better driver than he is etc. He threw us out of the place saying he wouldn't teach me. So not only did I waste $60 dollars buying shoes at his request, I didn't even get a lesson.

Fantastic experience: I can only describe my experience as amazing! Bill and Yousef are not only friendly but also great teachers! I failed my road test twice with 60 points before them. I took 1 lesson a week for like 8 weeks or something and I passed my road test the third time with a perfect score!

Fantastic experience: Bill is a great driving instructor. I only took 3 lessons with him by the time I took my road test I felt fully prepared. I ended up receiving a perfect score on my driving test after only driving with him for 3 lessons. It was a great experience and Bill was a great instructor.
