Negative experience: The woman who works at the desk here is the rudest person I have ever met. My son was ONE minute late for his lesson and she stood up to imitate the way he walked and berate him for being late. I’m not sure what kind of person feels the need to make a 15 year old feel stupid in a room full of people, but it’s not a good kind of person. She was quite possibly the rudest person I have ever met.

Fantastic experience: I can NOT say any more great things about ADS! We went in on Tuesday completely defeated from a HORRIBLE experience at the DPS. The lady we spoke to was so kind and explained everything perfectly! My son's road test was scheduled for Thursday. We went and he passed on his first attempt!! I will be taking my younger two here as well! Great experience!

Negative experience: This place absolutely sucks. The ladies in the office are the RUDEST people I have ever met. She rolled her eyes at every question like I was stupid for asking. DO NOT GO THERE.

Fantastic experience: I found this school through a website recommendation, and I didn't make a phone appointment in advance. I went there directly for an on-site appointment for the driving test, which I took the next day at noon. The staff was very patient and friendly. They provided me with the test route in advance so I could practice it on my own. I passed the test on my first try. I highly recommend this place, it's great.

Fantastic experience: Ms Renfro was so kind in getting us in on a Saturday morning for my daughters driving test portion asap since the motor vehicle places are backlogged. Thank you so much Larry for being her driving assessor! You were so amazing for my daughter to do her driving test with! She was so nervous but you put her at ease and made her feel confident in her training! For anyone who did parent taught driving and plan to have your teen do driving/road test at office of motor vehicles, please know you have options! We did the driving test at Austin Drive School in Waco even though we took an online course and did parent taught driving! Ms Renfro made sure we had all our proper papers (which is a task in itself) and the driving portion of test was done on a Saturday morning. All we had to do was take my daughters papers then to office of motor vehicle for our apt and she got her license! So much easier and worth the drive to Waco from Austin! I can’t speak to local branches bc I have only used Austin drive school in Waco. But I can say I 100% recommend. Thank you Ms Renfro & Larry! You truly were our heros!

Fantastic experience: I had driving lesson with Ms. Sue. She is just a chill instructor. She just explained everything well and not try to correct me too much when driving. I don’t have a car so she would pick me up after school. I was very nervous but at the end of driving class, I gain a lot of confidence and passed the driving test easily. I’d recommend Austin Driving School to everyone. One problem is they are always booked so you gotta book appointments in advance.

Negative experience: This is one of the most horrible places I've ever had to deal with. I paid almost 400 dollars and they could not finish my son's drivers ed. They were always short handed and his driving hours were never gonna get done. They cancelled on me several times. We finally had to go over to Central TX Driving School where they were absolutely wonderful. We were able to get things done so quickly and they were super nice. Also the people at Austin Driving School are rude and very unhelpful. If I could I wouldn't give them even 1 star.

Positive experience: On 5/7/22 at 11:25 I observed the Austin Driving School pull out from the HEB at 1301 Wooded Acers, Waco, Texas. When the driver was pulling out the the main road he failed to use his Blinker to iindicatehis direction of travel. It's very important especially for a student to get to used to using their Blinkers. Thank you

Fantastic experience: The wait for a driving test at DPS is ridiculously long, so we decided to have my daughter test here instead. I was able to get her an appointment right away and the staff was friendly and supportive of her. They even helped us get an appt at DPS for the following morning to submit her paperwork once she passed her driving test. I highly recommend Austin Driving School- Waco!

Negative experience: I tried to gather some information about adult driving courses. The representative that answered the phone was extremely rude, sarcastic and impatient. No customer service whatsoever.

Fantastic experience: This place is the best, after a bad experience with central Texas driving school of Waco these people at Austin driving school took us in with open arms and got my daughters driving done upon walk in!!! I lost $70 but gained a better experience here at Austin driving school he is a amazing teacher.

Fantastic experience: Due to the DPS having a 1 1/2 month wait list to take the Driving Test to get a license we decided to call Austin Driving School to see if they could do a same day test. My mother was able to take the driving test with them the same day that she got her permit, and thanks to their same day test we were able to get her license all in one day. I would recommend this place to anyone who is in a similar situation as us or that is in search of a driving school. Choose this one.

Fantastic experience: I took my driver's test today with Mr. Larry Renfro. With something so critical in today's society, aquiring a license and passing your driving test can cause substantial anxiety. Mr. Renfro from the beginning had a special demeanor about him that immediately was very calming. He was direct, communicated the expectations clearly, and I knew he was going to fair and right in his grading. I had failed a drive test the day before at a different school who failed me on a certain technicality that was not even unlawful or dangerous. When I tested here, it was a great breath of fresh air to be treated respectfully as a person, and be graded uprightly and fairly. If you want to test with an instructor who is patient, kind, and thorough, then Austin Driving School in Waco is the place you want to go. Stephen ONeill Driving Student

Fantastic experience: Sweet, outgoing Christian people who genuinely care and want you to accomplish your goals! Would recommend for anyone interested in earning a driver’s license.

Negative experience: I called to ask a couple of questions, the lady that picked up the phone was very rude and was not up to date with the information they show on their website. She didnt even try to help me, just told me I was wrong and pretty much contradicted everything their website said.

Positive experience: I've taking the written test it was easy I take the drivers test wensday hopefully I pass

Negative experience: I'm sure this driving school has some decent teachers but unless you want your child learning how to drive slow in the left lane impeding traffic for a year, I would suggest avoiding this company. I understand that these kids are learning to drive but there is a reason the left lane is called the "fast lane and passing lane." I understand these kids are new drivers and still learning but the instructors should not be letting them drive and sit in the left lane going under the speed limit and blocking people from passing in the left lane safely. It is more dangerous to pass on the right and time and time again I have watched people fly by these kids in the right lane only going at speed because the student driver is going 10mph or more under the speed limit in the left lane. Again, I understand that the instructor may be saying something in the car I am unaware of but driving slow in the left lane and impeding traffic is unacceptable for a driving school to be teaching young drivers because it will only cause more accidents in the long run.
