A & R Driver Training School

Fantastic experience: I had a very great experience in a&r driver training school. My instructor Mr.Andrew is very patient and kind. He will try to come up with ways to try and make it easier for new drivers to complete specific skills in driving.

Fantastic experience: I'm very late on writing the review, but I can confirm that they will teach you how to drive. The videos that they show at first will be boring or the speakers may be out of sync, but when you get in the car and they will teach you very well. They ain't lying when they said it will be an easy step by step when THEY start teaching. Obviously when you start driving; you will be scared or struggle, but being safe and making turns when you are conformable is the best thing to do. It's pricy, but you won't regret. If you know this email then you will know who I am.

Fantastic experience: This driving school is amazing. I had no issues with any of the teachers, they taught me how to drive very well, and helped me enhance skills that I already knew. From my first day joining A&R to my last day they helped me a lot, and shaped me into a good driver.

Fantastic experience: Mr. Andrew and his staff gave excellent training, and are very professional.

Negative experience: Questionable practice of wanting to add 4 additional classes at a cost of $100 each after the last lesson. This was not mentioned until the last driving class was over for my son. I felt that integrity was compromised and I am compelled to warn others about this issue with A & R Driving School of Orangeburg / Bowman SC.

Fantastic experience: All around great!!! From my very first day driving to my last time driving in the class Mr. Andrew walked me through what is needed to keep me and others on the road safe, and I can not thank him enough for all of his hard work. (Very recommended)

They give you all the material you will need and they will help you in way possible to achieve your license. If you apply the material that they give you, you will be able to receive your license. As I received my license with I remember everything that they taught me. Without a doubt I will recommend A & R to anyone that is looking for people that are passionate about their job !!

Fantastic experience: My experience at A&R driving school was exceptional! Mr. Andrews and Mr. Cleveland were extremely thorough with teaching me the road codes, proper turning, how to be aware of my surroundings, being cautious and overall how to maximize safety and be a good driver among traffic. I never expected to learn this much when I signed up, and I must say THANK YOU to these trainers for being so gentle, so patient and making me so comfortable around the steering wheel. I was somewhat fearful before, but their calm, clear and timely instructions plus the good conversations we had instilled confidence in me (along with knowing that they have full control of the vehicle on the passenger side in case anything should ever happen lol). When I’m on the road, I’ll remember their voices “Look over your shoulder, check your blind spot,” among so many more lifelong lessons that I’ve learnt. Without a doubt, I would recommend A&R Driving school to anyone out there who wants to be a good driver. It is so much worth it!

Fantastic experience: I was terrified to learn how to drive but through the training and patience of Mr. Andrew, I was able to learn how to get over my fear by learning to be a safe and cautious driver in many driving situations. Taking lessons with A & R Driver Training School is definitely worth the money.

Fantastic experience: I want to commend this driving school and Mr. Andrew specifically. My behind the wheels training were all worth the time and money. Mr. Andrew really mastered his craft in the way he teaches, he is very nice and his instructions to me were concise and timely. It helped a lot that he is very calm, and being a new driver I am where everything beyond the wheels are overwhelming, I feel safe that he made me feel that he can see, control and maneuver everything even from the passenger seat. (YES he drives from the passenger seat at times just to show me how to do what, this guy is a car, in human form. No, he is amazing.) I tell you he knows every road, every hand steering you do, every direction he said since the 1st minute. You can’t hide. He really knows what he’s doing. When I get nervous he knows how to make me talk and be comfortable and it really makes the difference in my driving. I was immersed from different scenarios bec. Mr. Andrew is well aware of whats around us and makes real life references from the cars or traffic lights ahead of us (‘do you see what that car did?’); not just give instructions but also give advices and concrete action steps on what to do when. Driving is a life skill; which makes it important - and Mr. Andrew here makes that daunting task sound easy and is very encouraging every time. He is polite and he’ll tell you sincerely when you’re ready to do the road test. I have found a master. In fact during a dinner & a topic of taking road tests, one of my aunt referred Mr. Andrew as the driving trainer for almost everyone here in Orangeburg and that I should enroll in his class, (I haven’t told them that I was currently enrolled at the time) and from that, I perceived that A&R driver training school is really reliable. I realized a lesson: as long as we listen, follow instructions, really wanted to learn and keep focused, we can ace this driving and we can achieve any goals. THANK YOU SO MUCH A&R DRIVER TRAINING SCHOOL! Through Mr. Andrew, you helped me acquire a life skill, I’m sooo glad I booked! As I received my license, I heard Mr. Andrew’s voice saying, “You gotta listen to your signs and to your lines. As drivers we decide far ahead all the time.” And that have been my major takeaway. Fantastic experience: My driving experience was great. My instructor made me become comfortable with driving in a city, and I learned skills I never knew about! Also, It’s a quick and simple learning experience. I got my license in no time!

Fantastic experience: I honestly never thought that I'd be able to get my license due to my slight phobia of driving, but Mr. Andrew and Mr. Cleveland made my experience really great! I still get a little nervous behind the wheel, but they have made me feel way more confident. They're very thorough and give plenty of tips that'll help you become a better (and safer) driver! I definitely recommend this school for anyone that needs to learn or just brush up on some skills! :D

Fantastic experience: This program is so great. Ms. Cooper is a great teacher. I learned everything I needed to know to take my driver's test in 3 two-hour session. Mr. Andrews is a good director and will make sure you are ready before you take the test.

Fantastic experience: A&R is the best I really enjoyed my experience with Mrs. Glenda and Mr. Andrew. They were very nice and very helpful and really cared about your safety as a driver. Training with them I learned all the skills in a timely manner and practiced many times to execute them to drive safely and cautious . The steps they teach will help you in a long run and on your road test to receive your license . If you don't apply these steps they teach you may find it hard to excel at the things you need to pass. Just have an open mind and listening ears to receive as much teaching as possible . Fantastic experience: The instructors there are very helpful with your process of learning how to drive. When you attend this drivers training school please have an open mind to learning new things because there are things on the road you have to pay more attention to. I personally enjoyed all three instructors they were very kind and see that you should drive safe no matter what. Of course it may cost but will worth your while trust me know. Fantastic experience: I greatly enjoyed my A&R experience. Ten minutes prior to my test Mr. Andrew allowed me to ask him any questions I wanted to. He provided me with the tasks that had to be done and allowed me to ask for a run down on them. A&R Driving school is one of, if not THE CHEAPEST driving I've in my town or the surrounding towns. I was able to take my OFFICIAL TEST with A&R and I found it quite easy. THANK YOU A&R.

Fantastic experience: Simple and fast! Only took me a week to get it done and passed the test the first time. I highly recommend this business to anyone looking for a good drivers ed teacher! 3rd party testing so it's much better than going to the dmv they teach you everything you need to know and are extremely nice! Def worth the money

Fantastic experience: Mr. Andrew is a sweetheart!! I was a little nervous at first, but he made me feel comfortable behind the wheel and taught me a lot of tips and tricks that I otherwise would have never known. He's very professional, and you can even take your official road test with him. It has been a few months since I've taken his course, but every time I'm driving I can hear his voice in the back of my head telling me the proper way to do things. I have yet to receive a traffic ticket. His class was a very wise investment, and at a very competitive price. Thank you so much Mr. Andrew, for everything you have done for me!!!
