Negative experience: this white guy at this place was very rude and disrespectful. I took my brother to take his drivers test and he passed so i asked the guy what did he miss just to see what to practice on and he said “well he didn’t get 100”. I was like aww dang and he was like he only gave out 6 100% in his life. i was just like I would get 100 since i did when i got my license and he said “trust me you wouldn’t.” that racial profiling to the max. Since im a black person i cant get a 100%. Very Unprofessional. Response to Comment: The issue is not what was said about my brother because i understood what my brother did wrong. the issue was what was said about me. Because when i took my drivers test i DID get 100% on my test, which was what i was trying to say and you cut me off just to say “you cant even get 100% because there was only 6 people I gave 100% to in my life”. you are the one misrepresenting how the conversation went. and yes you did call but we could not hear you clearly which is why my brother hung up.

Fantastic experience: I should've come here from the start and avoided wasting money at the other driving school. I highly recommend this place— the instructors are friendly and very supportive. Their prices are affordable and very reasonable. I can’t praise this place enough.

Fantastic experience: We wasted money taking our daughter to 911 Driving School in Lakewood so, we looked for other options and came across South Sound Driving School. The instructors are so great there and very skilled at making new drivers comfortable. My daughter love going there and wished we had found them first. Fantastic experience: Exceptional experience with Taylor and his gang here at South Sound! It was a bit of a drive for us, but it was well worth it every step of the way. Taylor enjoys what he does, and it shows! Works with you on price, which is greatly appreciated. One side point that is helpful is he has a wonderful and straightforward way to help kids that are having difficulty parallel parking!

Fantastic experience: I am glad I chose to take private driving lessons at South Sound Driving School. Despite my nervousness, Taylor and Bri made me feel very comfortable behind the wheel. I had Bri as an instructor for my last two lessons and she gave excellent tips and advice in preparation for my driving test. I finally got my driver's license today and I can't recommend South Sound Driving School enough. Overall, I had an extremely great experience.

Fantastic experience: I highly recommend South South Driving School. All of the instructors were very kind. Personally, on the 6 of the drives you must do with an instructor, I had about 4 different ones, so I got used to having different input from each instructors perspective which provided great insight and helped me become a better driver.

Fantastic experience: When I was 15 years old I had a car accident in which I disfigured part of my face and almost died. After 20 years, my husband motivated me to try driving a car, the simple act of touching the steering wheel and driving around in the parking lot scared me so much that I wanted to cry and never have to do this again. We realized that we needed professional help and that was when I took driving classes with Professor Taylor, he speaks Spanish and was a patient instructor with excellent pedagogy and techniques. I want to say thank you, you achieved a miracle in my life. Today I drive without crying and I have more confidence, God bless you

Negative experience: It's a scam. They pick and choose who they want to pass and who they don't. They're going to try to get as much money from you as possible and some of the questions are opinionated and or have nothing to do with driving laws. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE!!!

I had a great experiance in personal driver refresher course that I, an experienced older driver (85) took before retaking my written and driving tests in order to keep my license per WA state DOL. No I have not had an accident! I passed with flying colors but driving test sure has changed from 65 years ago!

Fantastic experience: Great driving school for native and international people, old and young. Everyone is very supportive and flexible. The Zoom lessons are very informative and easy to follow. Kahoot! was new for me, but it really aided the learning outcome. Every instructor gives their lessons a unique flavor. I felt very well taken care of. With their help I became a confident driver! Fantastic experience: I decided to enroll in South Sound driving school after having a bad experience with another school near my home. The staff at South Sound were courteous and helpful from the first phone call. The school’s location was peaceful and convenient for me. I took my driving test with them and found their price reasonable and their instructor reassuring. The instructor’s clear and professional guidance during the test boosted my confidence. I passed the test and I am very happy with the service I received. I would highly recommend this school to anyone looking for a quality driving education.

Fantastic experience: I did a lot of research of driving school around Olympia and I finally went with this school, which is really a right choice! I did both written test and drive test here (I passed) the head instructor is nice, friendly, thoughtful and patient, he made me feel comfortable and less nervous when I was doing the drive test. Also, it’s easy to schedule appointments as they are super responsive via email. The price is affordable as well. Highly recommended driving school.

Fantastic experience: I had a great experience with South Sound Driving School. Despite being in my 40's, they joke or make me feel weird at all about not having already learned how to drive. They were easy to schedule with, informative, professional, and pleasant to be around. Also, cheaper than many of the other options I looked at. They were great teachers, I managed to pass my test after five lessons without much else in the way of practice. Highly recommended!

Fantastic experience: Love South Sound Driving School. Taylor, the head dude, is understanding, helpful, and knowledgeable. My seventeen year old went thru drivers ed there and he always worked with our schedules and took a payment plan. So helpful. My twenty year old recently passed his written test there and will be doing private drives so they also offer adult (18+) options there. They offer all tests there as well eliminating having to go spot to spot and well. And affordable. One of the more affordable options in the area.

Fantastic experience: At 21 years old with no car and with no one to help me learn to drive, South Sound Driving School was an absolute blessing! I took private lessons with Taylor, and he helped me pass my driver's exam within a month of initially signing up. He was patient, professional and very thoughtful. He was willing to work with me on payments, and even offered an extra free lesson on top of the 5 private lesson package I purchased. Even though I've already passed my test, I will definitely be going back to improve my skills on the road. I highly recommend this school :)
