Fantastic experience: I am very happy with my experience at Atlantic Coast Driving School. They are professional and competent. I was given all of the necessary training and information that I needed to pass the road test.

Negative experience: No one ever answers the phone and voicemail is full.

Negative experience: Disappointing customer service. Tried reaching out twice by phone and again two weeks later by email. Still no response. Not a great way to get new customers.

Fantastic experience: I hired Atlantic Coast for driving lessons and the road test for my son. I have to say it was an absolute pleasure from start to finish. Communication was on point, no issues with them showing up on time at our home to take him for lessons and his road test. I can not recommend Atlantic Coast enough. Definitely worth it amazing instructors my son passed with a 100% score!!

Negative experience: Worst customer service ever. I don't know how the instructor is since I couldn't get anybody to follow through to get an appointment. I tried for 2 months, they never called back. At one point, I got a text asking for my son's permit, I sent it,nothing after that. They obviously don't need business.

Fantastic experience: Such a great driving school! The instructors are all women and it’s so comfortable learning from them. I had two instructors and both were amazing. I apologize since it’s been a year and I forgot their names. I took 3 lessons with them. For all three lessons they drove to my house and picked me up for the lesson. Each lesson was an hour long but included so much and felt very productive. My first two lessons was to get the hang of driving and learn everything about it. My third lesson was right before my driving test and I had a different instructor than my first two lessons. She helped me practice everything on the test and by the end of it I was a pro! She made parallel parking so easy for me. Right after the lesson she drove me to the test site in Middletown and I took the test in the school car. Passed it and got my license. I’m so grateful for this experience and I honestly would not be the driver I am today if it weren’t for these amazing people.

Fantastic experience: I was so pleased with the services at Atlantic Driving School. I purchased a package for my daughter for Christmas and it included lessons, the 5 hour class and the road test . They make it so easy to do everything . My daughter’s instructors were Kiara and Lisa . They both made her feel so comfortable and at ease. Although I took her driving as I know many parents do, I felt it important for her to be trained and prepared for her driving test; things I knew a trained instructor was more equipped at handling . She had I believe 6 lessons total and passed her driving test first time and with next to no mistakes. I highly recommend this school especially for first time drivers . So grateful for them.

Fantastic experience: I did the 3hrs lesson with Atlantic my instructor was great, I learned everything I needed to know for my driving test and passed on my first attempt. I came from a country where we drove on the left but she also navigated me through that. I would recommend them any day. Thank them.

Negative experience: This company was highly recommended do I stopped by to enroll my daughter and was told I would receive a call but that they were very busy so it would probably be a few weeks. I gave them the benefit of the doubt as a nation we were still navigating life after COVID. So a year later I stopped in March 2024 and gave my contact information again. This time I did get a text message the next day and I replied back within 24 hours. I waited two weeks and requested a follow up but again fell on deaf ears. New Windsor may be a small area but it’s not the only driving school so I found another one. I can’t attest to their driving services because I never got that far but their customer service is very poor.

Fantastic experience: I just want to say everyone at Atlantic coast is great. I signed up and for my CDL A and from start to finish was just over a month. I already had the ability to drive but with Rich’s teachings of my pre trip and helping with the Maneuvers that I didn’t know I passed my test and went in completely confident. Thanks to all of you

Fantastic experience: I Had a great experience at Atlantic Coast Driver Training Inc. I sign up for the class B upgrade. Lisa was very professional and fast to respond. Rich was a great teacher he made it easy to learn and remember my in cab pre trip and pre trip for outside of truck. He has lots of patience and is great at what he does. Negative experience: I heard many good things about Atlantic Coast Driver Training by numerous people, however I am still waiting to schedule my daughter for driving lessons. I called 4 times left messages with someone the first 2 times to no avail. OH wait!!!! When I called the last 2 times the voice messaging was FULL. I reached out to a friend who gave me another number to text a message to instead of calling. That was 3 weeks ago!! I'm still waiting to schedule. With a company who comes highly recommended I would expect a call or text back acknowledging my messages.I will NOT be recommending this company for driving lessons.

Fantastic experience: I just want to say what an amazing school this is. Rich has a way of teaching that makes everything so easy to learn. He's so patient and so nice that it really took a lot of pressure off a beginner and made it a lot easier to focus on learning. I would recommend this place to anyone. At first their mailbox was full so if you try to call and it's full, don't be discouraged. You can also always stop in as well. Overall I can only say good things about atlantic coast. Fantastic experience: Lisa and her staff were the best thing for myself and my son. About 6 years ago I got my tractor trailer upgrade on my license from Atlantic coast. When I saw the owner in Lowe’s he remembered me and I asked him and his wife that I needed help with some lessons for my son and boom. She gave me the contact info and they picked him up at home and at school for his lessons and he learned to much valuable information and when it was time for him to take his road test which they also scheduled for me he passed it on the first shot.. would def recommend this company.. thanks guys

Fantastic experience: Called the school for information and the woman who answered was extremely patient and answered all of my questions. I appreciated her honesty with my options and the time she spent helping me figure it all out. I did not take the course yet but because of her professionalism over the phone I felt compelled to leave a good review. The other schools I have called were very rude and unprofessional.

Step by step on how to execute the maneuvers perfectly! Would recommend them time and time again. You will not be disappointed.

Negative experience: I heard so many good things about this place but unfortunately I will never get a chance for my son to experience them. I called MANY times to schedule and I even went there. Each time my information was taken and told Lisa would call back. I never got a call. Nah man. Simple acts of call backs mean a lot.

Negative experience: Don't waste your time I've called repeatedly each time I'm told they'll call back to get my daughter scheduled that was sept29th called again oct 22 then the 29th still same excuse.. called Louise driving school got a appointment on the spot needless to say call Louise driving school.. as a business owner I don't know how companies like this stay a float smh

Fantastic experience: I highly recommend this school ,i failed my road test on the first try using a different school at a different location but thanks to Lisa i passed my road test on my second attempt she is a great teacher and prepares you for the road test i took every information she thought me and i put it to use and its all because of you l did it i passed i can finally drive.

Fantastic experience: Crippling anxiety has kept me driving on a permit for 12 years (failed road test as a teenager)...today I passed my road test and I really believe it was because of Kiara's instruction. She made me feel 100% comfortable and had a super calm demeanor that eased a lot of my anxiety. Kiara was very knowledgable and provided me information that no other instructor has ever taught me. Her techniques were simple to follow, even for someone who has been driving a certain way for over a decade. Lisa provided me the final lesson and gave me some last minute pointers for the exam; she was also able to calm my nerves (anyone that knows me knows it is difficult for me to regulate my anxiety especially when it comes to testing of any sort). I'm very happy with my experience with these ladies and just grateful I no longer have to go shopping with the hubby. I highly recommend this driving school for anyone learning to drive; parents, your kids will be in good hands!

Negative experience: Lisa was the instructor and I had such a hard time to get her to schedule lessons or just return a text/call. My daughters lessons was covered by a state agency for children with disabilities. I was told she was paid in full by the state but only gave less then half the lessons she was paid for. I understand she had to wait for payment ( it’s the state lol) but then she shouldn’t have agreed to the contract. I even called after I knew she was paid to set up the rest of the lessons and again no return call. Very unprofessional!

Fantastic experience: Ask for rich best trainer I’ve ever had and I’ve taken lessons for my CDL class B before. I now have my passengers and school bus endorsement due to the lessons I took at Atlantic Coast. The other school I took my class B on was at Dutchess school of driving last year and the instructors there weren’t as friendly. They were very vague spoken; didn’t really care about the customer; seemed they just wanted to get paid and go home. This guy does it out of his heart and truly wants you to succeed and pass. He was very to the point; but understood when I needed help on something. He spent more time on what I needed help with such as parallel parking. Also, he made it more enjoyable and made the entire process not feel so stressful which we all need with testing such as this. 5 stars all around. I will be putting this review on yelp as well to make it well known he was a great instructor. 5 star rating all around to Atlantic Coast Driver Training!!!

Fantastic experience: Great school, took my CDL classes here and stick shift lessons. Easy two hours a week driving around. Flexible schedule. Just great family type setting school. Rich the instructor can teach a monkey to drive.

Fantastic experience: Many thanks to the staff at ACDT. My daughter failed her test once & after lessons, she became so much more confident & passed without a problem. Tips & strategies were very helpful. Staff & instructors were always professional & all communications were prompt & clear. Women instructors a +. They facilitated the 5 hr course, made the road test arrangements & provided transportation to and from the testing location. I couldn't have asked for more & highly recommend their services.

Negative experience: My husband called to inquire about the class A CDL upgrade. The woman never mentioned the package on their website for $2190 when upgrading from the CDL B. Instead, she suggested the $3,000 package plus another $1,000 to learn manual on a box truck, because its "easier." What?! I get you're trying to make money, but you're losing money by doing this, because he just scheduled at another school.

Negative experience: Leaving a review because I am so shocked at the unprofessionalism in the customer service. I called trying to make an appointment for a driving class. The lady sounded very bothered that this is what I was inquiring about. She then preceded to tell me that there is no availability until October and that there is a waiting list. She would not take my information for the waiting list as she said 20 people were already on it. She was very unhelpful and unreceptive.

Fantastic experience: I just wanna say Rich and Lisa were wonderful to work with. I started out my training in another school and had no luck but after meeting Rich I knew things would work out differently. His positive attitude and mellow personality made this a wonderful experience. I highly recommend this school if you want to be successful in your pursuit. Thanks so much guys.

Fantastic experience: Rich and Lisa are simply amazing. Rich Showed me how to drive a truck i never driven a truck in my life. Rich had amazing patience with me. Lisa was also amazing with all the bookings and all the last minute switches. If you’re learning to drive a truck of any kind with airbrakes go to Atlantic driving school Rich has the patience of a saint. Fantastic experience: Did 3 lessons and they were each about an hour long, so I had enough time on the road. The lessons were great and my instructor gave great insight and detail on what I could work on, and I like how they pick you up from your house and drop you off and allow you to practice on their car! And they let you use their car for the driving test. Pricing is very reasonable!!! I passed my test today, thank you for the practice AC!

Fantastic experience: From the first call I made to their office to get my class A Cdl, the staff was professional and as nice as could be. Lisa made scheduling lessons a breeze with working around my schedule and her husband Rich was a great instructor. He was extremely knowledgeable about driving and the trucks (there wasn’t a question I asked that he couldn’t answer). He was patient, friendly, and calm as could be while I was behind the wheel which always makes learning easier. They keep all the vehicles clean, in great condition and above par at all times (interior, exterior and mechanics). I would absolutely recommend anyone looking to learn to drive or get your commercial license to give them a call.

Fantastic experience: Absolutely Great driving school! I just passed my CDL road test today. I had Rich as my instructor for all my driving lessons leading up to the road test. Rich was very detailed with everything that you needed to know in order to pass. He gave you a very detailed pre-trip inspection and he made sure you were able to recite the day of the test. He was very patient when it came to the maneuvers such as straight-line backing, offset and parallel parking. he gave you little tips for each maneuver that definitely helped. Booking the lessons for each lesson was a breeze and they really help you out depending on your work schedule. Overall great experience and thank you to Rich for helping me pass my road test.

There training is topnotch very professional definitely hands on. Mauro and rich are both great trainers they literally made the whole thing real like a walk in the park. I have to say this place is great and always accommodated my husbands work schedule with weekends and after his work hours. Negative experience: This driving school is very unorganized. They would make appointments with me, change them and then forget to reschedule my appointment. I drove there NUMEROUS times, only for them to tell me that my appointment was rescheduled!!! The driving instructor Rich was always on his phone during my lesson and he would fall asleep while I was in training driving the truck!!!! I don’t know what happened to this school because I used them before back in 2012 and I had a great experience. I WOULD NOT recommend anyone to receive their driver training at this school!!!
