Negative experience: every,ore is nice BUT AFTER A DATE TO HAVE MY DRIVER TEST, I was told YOu don'T help that you only deal with new drivers !you owe me.back 2 times 87.50 !!

Fantastic experience: Their customer service is excellent , I had session with instructor Jason , and he was very professional and respectful. I have two more driving session and one test left. The car used for training was clean and in good condition. I am grateful for their amazing team.

Fantastic experience: Great instructor

Positive experience: The instructor of my daughter (Dec 27, 30, Jan 3 - 95673) was nice and prompt. He, however needs some DMV regulation updates and more training. He suggested my daughter to walk-in for a “behind-the-wheel” test so if she fails, she can still do a repeat on her set appointment date (14 days later). My poor girl woke up very early to line up 2 hrs before DMV opens. DMV California does not accommodate walk-ins for behind the wheel test. Also, my daughter was stuck hardshell on the thought that you shouldn’t move past the line, at the intersection (turning right). Yes you stop before the line, but you must eventually move slowly forward to check on upcoming traffic before you make a safe right turn. She keeps saying “ my instructor said”. Finally, we have to tell her “google it” for her to change her mind. Please have your young instructor get more instructions so he can become better and more trustworthy DMV instructor especially for teens. Thank you.

Fantastic experience: I recently had my first two-hour driving lesson with this driving school, and I can not be more impressed. Jim was the instructor, and he made me feel very comfortable at driving as a beginner. From the start, he was incredibly compassionate and patient. His guidance was clear and supportive, and he made sure to give me helpful tips throughout the session. I appreciated how Jim took the time to explain things step by step, giving me the confidence I needed as a beginner. Overall, my lesson was amazing, and I feel as confident as I can be when I drive. I highly recommend using Coastline to anybody who is looking for a 5 star driving lesson if you are in need of the two hour course. Jim is the most reccomended instructor that I can trust when I have a lesson.

Fantastic experience: Both customer service and driving instructor were very helpful and knowledgeable. Customer service is fast, efficient, and reliable. The driving instructors give really valuable insights on driving safely and comfortably. If you want to learn how to drive properly and gain experience to start coastline is the way to go. If your curious..I’m now 19 n after 2 days of practice driving with Coastline I feel very confident and more knowledgeable on how to be a safe driver on the road. Thank you, coastline

Fantastic experience: I hired Coastline for behind-the-wheel training for my son. I really liked their punctuality, respect, kindness, knowledge and expertise. After each session they sent me detailed reports and at the end of everything they sent me a final report that summarized it all. I saw them taking my son and bringing him back every time and they would ask me if I had any questions or concerns that needed to be addressed. Super professionals in their work!

Fantastic experience: It’s early in the process, but our sons first behind the wheel lesson went perfectly. I think this is an excellent driving school. This first lesson step came after the on line course several months ago to get the permit and that all went well. The instructor Jason C is excellent; he was very attentive to our son’s learning style and nervousness.

Fantastic experience: This is our 4th student driver and I will say our BEST experience with driving lessons. Easy to book, every detail explained well, professional and my son came home confident and excited about driving because of his instructor!

Fantastic experience: I would give this a 6 star if possible. The driving experience was excellent. My driving instructor (Yuri) was an excellent sport. He taught me lots of new things. Yuri’s attitude was great, and fun to talk to. He did not make a big deal if I made a mistake, just corrected me and we kept going. I would recommend Coastline Academy to anyone. They are definitely worth the money. Looking forward to book more driving sessions in the future.

Negative experience: This company makes you pay and schedules an appointment for your requested time and date knowing that they are unavailable that day. Please do not trust their booking process when you pay. Expect it to be a month out.

Fantastic experience: I took driving lessons in the Folsom/Rancho Cordova area and my instructor was Josh M. Today I passed the behind the wheel test and got the license. All thanks to the Coastline Academy. I think Josh is a great instructor. He is very patient, helpful, experienced and prepares you well for behind the wheel test. The overall working of the coastline academy i.e. from booking of driving lessons, the sessions and feedback after each lesson- everything is very streamlined and smooth. Highly Recommended!

He’s was very understanding of my situation and went out of his way to make sure my schedule aligned with his to take my driving test. I also passed the driving test my first time!! With only the practice of my 5 driving lessons in total.

He explains things thoroughly and will take the time to work with you on anything you are struggling with. He is a very encouraging instructor, and I feel he gave me driving tips I’ll use forever. Fantastic experience: My son had a 2 hour lesson with instructor Yury serving Folsom location. He was very excited and pleased with the lesson and driving experience he received. EVen though we used Yury's service for 2 hours to sign off on driving permit, however, his lesson was very useful for my son. He is experienced, professional and very friendly instructor. Fantastic experience: I hired Coastline Academy so my daughter could take driving lessons while she was at UC Davis, since her progress toward a license was derailed by the pandemic. Personally I loved the ease of their online appt scheduling, payment and bios on the teachers. So convenient to have access 24/7 with no need to call someone during business hours. I also liked the online report cards so I could view her progress. My daughter liked the instructors who picked her up at her dorm and were friendly and patient. We did a few extra lessons from home in So Cal since the traffic/freeways here are unlike Davis, but she easily passed her driving test at our local DMV thanks to Coastline!

Fantastic experience: Enrolling our daughter at Coastline Academy was the best decision we made. She was able to gain confidence driving and made it first try with the behind the wheel test. Anna was really great!! She was able to guide our daughter and prepare her for her driving test. She told our daughter what she really needed to work on. Having Anna bring her to the DMV on the day of and practice her an hour before helped a lot!!

Fantastic experience: I took three lessons, and they went well. The instructor was clear in their directions, and let me learn all the skills I needed. I took my first two lessons close together, then practice driving on my own time. I rescheduled my third lesson to just before my driving test on their recommendation, and passed my driving test the first time without any issue.

Fantastic experience: My daughter had two great instructors who made her feel comfortable and confident. She passed her driving test easily. I loved that the instructors picked her up at our house and there were many time slots to choose from online for her lessons.

Negative experience: Awful driving school. Booked 7 lessons. They showed up for 3 canceled 2 15 minutes before one and 25 mins after the other. Requested a refund for the remaining 4 lessons. Shame the lost out in future bookings also.

Fantastic experience: I bought a 6-hr package from DriversEd.com in Feb. 2021 and picked Coastline Academy as the company to provide the lessons to my nephew. A week before his first lesson he suffered a devastating leg injury and had to learn to walk again before we could focus on driving. My nephew since moved away and 8 months later Coastline Academy was more than willing to provide me a full refund for what I paid for the lessons that he never ended up being able to use. I didn’t expect it because it had been so long since I purchased the courses but they made it so easy. Thank you for not making me have to pull my hair out to just have the right thing done! Very professional company. If I need anything like this in the future, I’ll be going to them.
