She was very patient with me and paid close attention to the things I needed to work on more. She is the only reason I passed my test today! Fantastic experience: I reached out the greater Penbay as a mom of a young adult with autism, to see if they would be able to take the time to provide this service to him. Right from the start, Concepta took extra time (more than once) to hear my concerns and inform me that she would give it her best shot. That she did, her and Dave were so great with my son. He even passed his permit test on the first try!! I am overly pleased with the service this driving school provided us with and would 100% recommend this company to any parent of an individual with special needs. Fantastic experience: I'm an international student and had absolutely no driving experience here in the US. In my country we drive on the other side of the road ect. I only went for 2 lessons with Concepta and I passed. She is so calm and taught me tips that I will someday teach my kids. They were so helpful. I'd give her a 10 star rating if I could :)

Concepta and David are incredibly kind and understanding, even when I majorily screwed up left turns my first time. Concepta even helped me stay safe when I expressed my concern with a classmate and how uncomfortable they made me. David had great stories to tell while I drove and extensive knowledge of driving and yacht working. It was a pleasure to be a student here.

Fantastic experience: I had a very good experience as a student at Greater Pen-bay Driving Academy. Concepta is an excellent teacher, and she keeps the class interactive and engaging. The class goes beyond what is needed to just pass the drivers’ test. It focuses on learning to become safe and defensive drivers who can avoid and respond to difficult and potentially dangerous situations. The one-on-one driving time with Concepta and David was very helpful; it put the skills we learned in class into practice. David’s extensive mechanical knowledge was also critical to learning how to keep our cars safe and reliable. I recommend Pen-bay driving to anyone looking into drivers’ ed schools.

She also made you feel comfortable and confident while driving. Doing their road test prep also really helped become more confident for my drivers test! Fantastic experience: As a homeschool student, this was my first actual in person class. Ms. Lily was a fantastic teacher! She reminded me a lot of how my mom teaches. She made the experience a lot less stressful. This class has a lot of course material to cover in a short amount of time. But I’m very thankful that the class was completed before the pandemic. I drove with bot Ms. Lily and M. Concepta. Both women were very calm while I was driving which definitely helped me to also stay calm while driving. I strongly recommend them to anyone nervous about starting driving in the Belfast area!
