Fantastic experience: I had asked for. 5 hour package . This was the school which I felt i could afford amongst all the highly rated schools in triangle area. Kevin was my instructor .Very accomodative with timings .Needed pickup from my office/ home for classes acc to my routine . At the right time he used to be at my place. More importantly most named classes takes about one n a half hour to two hours a day . The one hour class was very apt for me and sufficient. He was calm nor panicked me while i was driving which was what i was looking in an instructor . With his teachings and my practice i cleared the test in the first try .Thanks Kevin!

Fantastic experience: I recently bought the 10 hour driving package and I’ve been working with Clyde throughout. Absolutely amazing experience especially for people who are a bit anxious to start driving. Clyde was helpful, funny, and an overall great teacher. Very flexible with working around work schedules and appointments and always very responsive. Negative experience: My friend Suriya took driving lessons here as an international student who is a nontraditional adult driver. Clyde is a terrible person. He cancelled last minute for most of his lessons and made it difficult and exhausting to reschedule. He once got mad at Suriya for coming outside for the appointment 5 minutes later than originally scheduled and decided to cancel half the lesson without reimbursement. Keep in mind he was regularly late and cancelled his lessons frequently himself. He also said that Suriya was completely ready for his driving test without teaching him how to park, drive around hills, or reverse. He ended up failing the test for 4 different violations due to Clyde’s poor teaching abilities. He is rude to clients, thinks the whole world revolves around him, and buys or convinces people to leave positive reviews to drown out the excessive negative ones. Kevin (his son) is good but dealing with Clyde makes this place NOT worth it. Go literally anywhere else.

Fantastic experience: As an adult driver with minimal driving experience and hardly any idea about the traffic rules in this country, signing up for the 10 hour package was the best thing I did. My instructor, Clyde, was simply amazing. He was kind yet firm, and I can safely say that my driving improved after every class. Shoutout to Kevin as well who accompanied me to the test that I aced on my first attempt. My examiner in fact, thought I was an experienced driver. Lol!

Kevin seem to be the key for my so success. Kevin was very patient and able to break things down to my down in a manner he understood. Negative experience: This isn't personal. Just business. And it's from my honest opinion. I think most of the 4 star reviews are bought or incentivized. I felt like I wasted $500 on this driving school. I would've spent even more money somewhere else if I would've known it would benefit her in the longterm. Her driving lessons were rescheduled several times which was very inconvenient. They didn't offer any additional hours to cover for their lack of planning or whatever happened that caused them to reschedule several times. She was never taught parallel parking either. She complained that Mr. Clyde was impatient and made her nervous. She stated they Mr. Kevin was patient and had a teaching style that made her feel comfortable. I would not recommend this driving school to anyone

Mr.Kevin was patient, kind and very knowledgeable. I had several scheduled conflicts and they were understanding and willing to work with me, and best of all!! My son passed his driver's test and received his license! Call A Value Drive Driving School today!

Negative experience: I paid for 10 hours of lessons up front, was provided 2 hours until the instructor was injured. After a month of reschedules, I was told I would be provided with a full refund. I still have not been received a refund despite being told it was coming for over a month. (Edit: I was paid the refund 4 months later.)

Fantastic experience: Kevin is such a patient instructor. He was also easy to talk to and never made me feel uncomfortable or nervous. I have some anxiety but I enjoyed our lessons. I also love the fact he was accommodating with my schedule. Did a 5hr course as an adult driver since I wasn’t sure how many I would need so if you want to do a refresher course definitely reach out to this company!

Negative experience: Value driving school is aimed to help the driver improve or lay the foundation for first-time driving. The instructor I was working with was named Clyde he was a great person but a terrible instructor. He made numerous smart remarks about other students and openly shared their business with me, I found this to be very unprofessional and distracting at times. He was also very inconsistent with the timing. First-time drivers need to be aware of this, the timing is absolutely horrendous. I had a remainder of four hours worth of driving lessons that were being constantly changed at very inconvenient hours. I had to end up requesting a refund do to the constant schedule changes. Now I will say that you must have open availability and work around their schedule which is completely understandable but what is the point if they are constantly changing days and canceling on you? This was the case with me and many other's poor scheduling and a significant amount of cancellations. I am yet to get my refund for the remaining four lessons (220$ usd). In conclusion, value driving is not the worst possible school but there are most definitely better options available do not limit yourself when it comes to driving.

Negative experience: Instrutor was named Clyde, as a matter of a fact he wasn’t even my instructor yet. Every time I asked how he wanted to be paid he was ignore it not only that but I have a very busy schedule with work and college applications, but I still let him pick the schedule and time so it is ALWAYS when he is free; then how do you change the SCHEDULE THAT YOU PICK over and over. It is TAKING UP MY TIME, again MY TIME IS WASTED. I have work everyday so I have to call in and say I can’t work then this man cancels on me. He is so rude to even call my family rude and COMPLICATED for asking a few questions to confirm how lessons will work. So from my understanding this man named Clyde here clearly doesn’t want to have any customers. Did I mention he is lazy; he so hard to understand so a few repeat responses made him unstable. IF I COULD GIVE 0 STARS I WOULD. Everybody take a word from me if you end up getting Clyde, DONT do it. Save yourself the trouble and time.

Negative experience: The driving instructor - Clyde is really good at his job, he did teach me some good driving practices, however, he was extremely irregular. He took 9 classes over a period of 4 months. If you want to learn driving in a short period of time, please do not join this school. My friend joined for 10 classes, could complete only 5 (in 2 months) since she had to move out of Raleigh for new job, they said they would refund her for the remaining 5 classes, but they didn’t. Clyde would keep postponing every class for random reasons( like the weather is not good or the car is broke) that’s why it took me 4 months to compete 9 classes. So if you have time and patience you can join here, but if you want to learn driving within a month or so, you can rent enterprise or something and practice rather than paying 500$ here.

Fantastic experience: I contacted Value Driving School to assist with teaching my niece how to drive. She had no experience with driving and wanted to get her license to be able to drive herself to work and etc... She was so nervous but Mr. Clyde was the best thing we could have encountered. He was patient and encouraging for my niece. After her lesson we scheduled her test and she is now a licensed driver. Fantastic experience: I reached out to A Value Drive Driving School because COVID really threw a wrench in our driving plans for our youngest son. There just weren't enough opportunities to go out and let him get the experience he needed. He needed time behind the wheel with a professional to gain confidence and experience in order to get his license - and Clyde helped him do just that! Now he has his license, is doing a great job driving to and from work, and gaining more independence. Thank you, Clyde!

Fantastic experience: I had never driven a car for longer than 30 mins, but that all changed when I booked driving lessons with Clyde! Clyde is a very attentive, patient, and knowledgable individual. He has extensive experience in teaching people with various backgrounds how to drive, and it shows! I struggled with my own anxiety of driving on the road, but driving with Clyde made it feel like nothing. Within a few months of classes, I was able to build my confidence on the road and obtain my license. Very accommodating, open communication, and flexible with scheduling.
