Fantastic experience: Excellent group of people! Great teachers who allow you to move at your own pace but they also encourage you to stretch yourself and acquire new skills to train in. All the instructors are extremely knowledgeable and competent. The Executive staff's always available to assist with scheduling all important appointments( driving, DMV). They too allow you to pace yourself and will always encourage you to do your best. If you are on the fence, check them out I assure you , you will be satisfied with this learning environment

Fantastic experience: Best Trucking school out there! I recently graduated on October 28th 2024. They work with you and your scheduling. The prices are fair. The instructors Miguel, Hector and Mr. Jorge all will work with you to make sure you pass with flying colors. At the end of the day it’s always all on you! You’re the one driving! The staff inside Vanessa and Ana are very accommodating, everyone wants to see you pass! I will always recommend this school, thanks again guys!

Fantastic experience: I couldn’t recommend this place enough. Me and other students had a good time. We even had a bbq one day! I had the option to go to any school through my job and chose Pilot. So thankful I did. The three instructors are great. They have three different ways of teaching. All worked for me and other students. Anna and Vanessa in the office works with your schedules and are so helpful. I’ve heard horror stories of other schools not getting the proper one on one time with students. Not a problem at Pilot. You get a lot of time practicing all the parts of the dmv tests. Making your DMV day no problem. I knew I was going to pass because of everybody at Pilot.

Fantastic experience: This is the best truck driving school to learn at in Fontana! There should be no other school you should consider over this one! Vanessa and Ana are amazing people that make you feel like you’re part of their family I love the family owned vibe of the school! The school is perfect for 1on 1 times with the instructors, all the instructors Miguel, Hector and Fernanda were amazing and super knowledgeable! I consider every one of them a friend now, I highly recommend everyone to come here to get their training done, you won’t regret it!

Fantastic experience: Great school and staff. The people that run the school are great. They give you all the training to pass your tests. All the instructors give you key notes on what the testers at the DMV are looking for during the test. Also they take you on around the same routes you be testing on.

Fantastic experience: Can’t recommend this school enough. From Ana and Vanessa in the office helping out with any questions or paperwork to all 3 instructors Miguel, Hector and jorge they all care about your success and passing. First few days they def go over a lot in detail and then allow you to learn at whatever pace is good for you. They really helped me gain all the knowledge and resources i needed to pass on my first try. Each instructor has a different way of mentoring and helping guide you and they genuinely care that you do a great job and pass. I requested Hector go with me for my test and he got there promptly and walked me through what to expect. He was just as happy to see me pass as i was and i returned to the school to give em the good news and Jorge and Miguel were just as happy for me. This place cares and it shows, if you’re willing and able to put in the work and listen you’ll succeed and pilot will give you the tools and knowledge to do so.

Fantastic experience: First of all let me say, don't go any where else. No matter how far you are from this location, I promise you IT WILL BE WORTH IT! I drove an hour to there and an hour back every single day I attended. I can't thank all 3 instructors enough so now I owe them lunch! Hector, Miguel, and Jorge are true real mentors that will make you achieve your license. This has been my 3rd school attending due to other real issues with the first 2. California Truck Driving Academy is no longer in business because they weren't paying their workers and lots of students lost money after they got into multiple lawsuits. Empire Trucking in Pomona was a joke. The owner only wants money. I deposited 500 and only got back 400 for not attending a single day of class. IF EMPIRE TRUCKING MENTIONS DOR TO YOU, RUN AWAY AS FAST AS YOU CAN. They do not have the same guided dmv lines drawn on their pavement like Pilot Trucking School does. Empire Trucking will also run out of diesel so there will be days you attend and have no truck to drive! Stay away from Empire Trucking in Pomona at all cost trust me. Now back to Pilot Trucking School. You can make your own schedule literally. 1 hour lunch was very reasonable. The whole facility including bathroom has been remodeled. Park ing was very easy. Every student has equal opportunity to share the trucks in which whatever skills you need to progress in. Each student including the instructors have different perspectives in everything so you'll learn in many different ways. There's a microwave to heat up your lunch. If you vape or smoke you're allowed to. Not just all that, you get to drive on the streets and freeway. I can't thank these great people enough at Pilot Trucking school but to show them my full gratitude in this review! PILOT TRUCKING SCHOOL IS THE BEST SCHOOL YOULL ATTEND AND YOU WILL ACHIEVE YOUR LICENSE TO PURSUE YOUR FULLTIME LIFETIME CAREER IN TRUCKING!!!! Fantastic experience: Best decision I ever made. Should have done sooner. Your in great hands with the owners of Pilot Truck Driving School. Anna and Vanessa are the best. You have three instructors willing and eager to help. Instructor Miguel is chill. Instructor Hector helps you learn from your mistakes. Instructor George will tell you exactly what you have to do, all you need to do is do it. Before I finally decided to enroll into Pilot, that same day I checked out six other schools. I picked Pilot of course. There are two four hour training sessions a day. Closed on Saturdays. Show up early with an open mind. And most importantly don't beat yourself up, that's what we're there for, to learn.

Fantastic experience: Mrs. Anna Vanessa and Brian are absolutely the best they treat everybody like family there are no favourites everyone is going to be successful if it is up to them the only way you fail is if you do not try you get what you give they care about their reputation and legacy of the school they want you to pass they want you to succeed and they will help you do that when you graduate making sure you get work and experience you need to advance. I appreciate them so much especially Vanessa for pushing me when I didn't think I was ready she knew that I was.

Fantastic experience: This school is a family owned business with the owner working on site every day. *Bryan, *Vanessa, & Ana, inside the office building, were able to work with with me & the schedule I needed. The Instructors *Raul, *Alex, Alexandra & *Jorge we’re available to answer any questions I had. Got to learn everything pretty fast here & once you get the basics memorized then trucks are accessible to help you practice. This place is learn at your own pace & if you’re a fast learner or feel ready to advance then they’re more than happy to get you to where you need to be quickly. Another is scheduling is super easy & in two hour increments. Personally I had a great experience here. I might come back & drop off some coffee to replace the cups I drank lol

Negative experience: La peor escuela de manejo en California, no la recomiendo, los instructores son pesimos y la administración solo sabe cobrar cada semana. No pagar todo si no tienes tu examen del DMV aprobado, porque si pagas todo, se pasan las horas del contrato y ya no te llevan al DMV. Has un contrato 50% antes y 50% cuando pases el examen del DMV. O busca otra escuela con instructores mas concientes y capacitados, Especialmente el que te tiene que sacar a manejar a la calle, con 2 veces cree que es suficiente para ir al DMV, no quiere gastar diesel, pero si acepta lo que le dan algunos estudiantes, para ganar preferencia.

Negative experience: Yo saque mi cdl con ellos hace 25 años con ellos mi prino tambien fue con ellos have 6 años era una escuela muy buena y coperaba desde la muerte de rodrigo todo cambio Lleve a mi hijo lo apuraron pa ra q fuera al dmv no paso es test y le cobraban 1000 dolares para darle el camion para otra opurtunidad en el dmv. Lame tablemente los hijos de rodrigo no son nada profesionales y nomas ven el dinero

Positive experience: I guess you get what you paid for I was looking for an affordable school also not too far they don't work around your schedule like they say they make you do everything on an app that it's not updated and they keep getting students on hours that you specifically ask for and it gets full for you to schedule. Their instructors are just other previous students that barely pass their exams and sometimes they had instructors that hadn't even pass yet I don't think that's professional. When I showed up without scheduling on the app they told me I couldn't go because I wasn't schedule I said that I could only go in the mornings and it always gets booked before I can schedule they seemed not to care and my test was around the corner they also don't let you schedule driving time in advance and then they say they're booked. Honestly You're basically learning on your own or by other students.

Fantastic experience: I LOVE THIS SCHOOL!!! I came to this school on a budget after losing my job in the fracing industry in an attempt to salvage my life and when I showed up here they made me feel so comfortable. Jumping Into a new industry was so scary and hard; learning and taking in all the new info was so hard for me to make stick but the owners of this family run school never once made me feel dumb, they just let me know they understand learning under all the stress I was under is hard and they showed nothing but compassion and patients. These people were so nice and friendly It felt like I was being taught by friends that cared about me. If anyone needs a CDL this school will not make u feel rushed or like they just want your money. They’ll take good care of you here. I JUST PASSED MY DMV TEST TODAY WITH FLYING COLORS!!

Fantastic experience: Most inexpensive way to get your class A. The only con is that you have to push yourself, the staff will help complete the task your on. That doesn't mean they're teaching you, so it's important to ask others for tips and tricks also maybe look up videos. The management is also reinvesting in the building and lot plus doing thier best to be covid safe.

Fantastic experience: In my opinion Pilot Trucking School is the best school in Southern California, reasonably priced, friendly ownership, professional patient instruction, bilingual and they work with your schedule. They furnish you with all the knowledge needed to get your CDL Class A from the DMV. They support you all the way. Great experience. I'm a current student getting close to graduating.

Fantastic experience: It is a great trucking school. Carlitos is the best Yard Dog! I mean best trainer They will teach you everything about a truck for $2500 but the owner have some discount in his hands Here you will learn, How to drive, how to do different types of parking, in-cab & outside inspections & about the parts of a truck. Even they give extra hours training.. So go for it.. Nowhere is cheap & good like them.

Fantastic experience: I based my opinion on the reviews and on what they had to say. The person I spoke to in person he was very informative he is going to tell you how it is and if you can't put the time than it's not for you. But if you go in and stay do the class you will finish and get your license. As for me I will be going and start a new chapter in my life. Even if I have to make a few sacrifices it's for me and my family.

After getting on googIe noticed some horrible review left by “your daddy” I don’t think that should be allowed how can you take that reviewer serious? Anyways, I went to practice for about a week and a half. Thank you Christian for you much needed attention and support. Rodrigo whom gets a bad review on here is actually very supportive. I personally believe he is a great person. I ran into some issues with health two months ago soon after I signed up. He was very understanding, he will actually work with you and help you with what you need. So that answers the only bad review here. Rodrigo is patient and does not force you to have a time limit. I believer this is a great thing not a bad one. To answer that bad review, “how long” it’s up to you! Continue reading, I’ll elaborate. From most of the students that are there they will tell you that pilot trucking schools methods work for them. I did hear a few complainer but from I noticed they wanted all the attention to themselves. They showed up when they wanted and complained that they weren’t learning. I started going last Monday practiced hard all day from Monday June third with Christian and passed my test first try June 13th. I’m no better than anyone so if I can do it, anyone can. You just have to commit and you will be successful. Thank you for reading this review, I hope it helps anyone trying to make a decision on where to go.

Fantastic experience: This is one of the well equipped schools with the best instructors thatI know of. It's a 6 to 8 weeks program. However, That wasn't enough time for me to catch on with the skills and the paper work.when my 8 weeks were up, instead of them telling me that my time has expired here, they meaning the owners of the school, told me that they have extended my time at there school.
