Fantastic experience: I definitely recommend prosper driving school to anyone who needs to practice driving Ana Maria is brilliant especially her parallel parking techniques she was the reason why I passed my rode test THANK YOU SO MUCH ANA❤️❤️!!!

Fantastic experience: I enjoyed my lessons with my instructor Freddie. I got my license 15 years ago and had not been driving ever since. He was confident in me (more than I am in myself) and pushed me to start practicing 5 mins after my first class with him. I really appreciate this approach and his sense of humor. Also, he’s very calm and encouraging, making me feel comfortable driving with him. He made me feel comfortable driving in the neighborhood right after the first class, and used his humor to push me drive up hill in my first class. We spent most time practicing parallel parking, and after the third class I’m confident in it! We also went briefly on the highway on my third class. I enjoyed my lessons very much. One thing to note is to double check with the office if your classes are properly booked. They usually sent class reminder text one day/ 23-24hrs before the class. I remembered I booked 3 classes with them on my first call, but they only booked my first one and missed the other two. But overall a very good experience with them~

Negative experience: I paid $300 dollars for driving lessons here. Took only one class since I did not have my learners permit then. After receiving the learners permit I was denied the other 9 classes and a refund of my money. I have proof of email exchanged with the employee but they would not process the refund

Negative experience: When I called the kid or the guy that attends the business told me that they take people to the actual driving test and when I asked to the instructor he said no. So I called back he didn’t answer any of my phone call so I called from my husband’s phone and the guy answered immediately and he said he will get back to me within an hour and he never did. You people need to be honest and serious, I don’t recommend this driving school because on top of that , the instructor asked me why I scheduled so late at night ? I was like well that is because I work and I arrive at 5, he went to pick me up at 6:00 so Next time be honest with costumers

Fantastic experience: OMG! Freddie is great! I thought driving a car is like going to outer space He made it easy and this is actually my first lesson! I highly recommend this school, specifically Freddie I'm definitely scheduling more lessons before my road test.

Negative experience: Don’t waist your time or money with this people, poor service very irresponsible.

Negative experience: The worst service left me waiting for the day of my appointment at the DMV in Lodi and I lost my appointment so difficult to get, they called me that they came and they never arrived, they made me waste my time and my money is not professional at all I do not recommend this school to anyone.

Negative experience: The Instructor Fredey Rodriguez is very touchy. He started to touching hand and arm few times when he showed me how to make turns. Since I have poor direction sense, he told me in the next section, he will bring me to somewhere and spent a night together. He also try to touch my head and hair while I am driving. I wrote an official complaint letter to the company and waiting for their respond.

Negative experience: Freddie is an excellent driving instructor. This school does not deserve an instructor like him. David, the person who schedules the lessons, was great to begin with. After my second lesson I called to schedule a third lesson. He did not respond to my texts or calls for over two weeks. A woman finally called to schedule my third appointment. She incorrectly scheduled it and called me back a few days later to reschedule. While on the phone I picked up on the fact that she didn’t know what she was doing but gave her the benefit of the doubt. My fourth lesson started late and I was not notified that they were behind schedule until I called. My fifth lesson was scheduled for today however the school had my lesson scheduled for 5:00 and I had an earlier time noted. After I was told of the later time a man, not David, called and told me I either take 1/2 of the lesson or they’re not going to schedule me for future appointments. David is unprofessional and clearly has others clean up his messes.

Negative experience: I have an international driving license and booked 3 appointments of 2 hours each with Prosper Driving School. However, I had a terrible experience with the school as all 3 of my appointments were cancelled. The school provided the following reasons: 1) Lesson on 3/26/2021 - Miscommunication 2) Lesson on 4/2/2021 - I've been scheduled in their offline calendar. Then subsequently rescheduled me for the same day but 1 hour lesson. 3) Exam Day on 4/5/2021 - The school called me 10 mins before my appointment to share that the instructor assigned to me is not feeling well and might have contracted COVID-19. There isn't backup vehicle available as all their driving school instructors gather in person in the morning and all of them maybe a COVID suspect. It is an unfortunate situation but if you are having lessons today or next couple of days, becareful!

Fantastic experience: I had one class with prospect driving school, and they were very good teachers. They taught me how to parallel park flawlessly every time - something I never thought I’d be able to do. The instructor was always helping me park, always giving. Me advise and tips. He was NEVER on his phone or distracted. I also rented the car during my road test and they were super helpful, kind, and encouraging. Anna is an excellent teacher and kind person. During that nervous day she always kept me calm and confident. I would highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: I had my class with Ana. She was professional and patient with me. I was super nervous for my road test. Ana took her time to make sure I was calm and understood what I needed to do to pass my road test. On my first try I pasted. Thanks to Ana she made it possible. Ana was great!!!! If you choose this driving school ask for Ana you won't regret it.

Fantastic experience: I have my license but don't drive often and needed to practice driving on the road not just local streets. Ana Marie was great, patient, professional and made me feel very comfortable. Definitely recommend her! She was on time for the lesson and called me before she arrived to give me a heads up. We practiced k turn, parallel parking a few times, and went on the road practicing changing lanes. I appreciated her patience!

Fantastic experience: Anna Marie is hands down the best instructor you could ask for. As an International student in the country I was not aware of the rules but Anna taught well. Also the scheduling of classes and booking instructors is done in a very professional manner. They call you prior to your road test for conformation.

Negative experience: I took 6 hour package. I found them very unprofessional. They do not value your time. None of the sessions happened on time. It’s very risky to rely them especially for your road test as they may cancel it at last minute.

Fantastic experience: Passed driving test on first try thanks to PDS reasonable prices for 8 hour classes (2 hour per session compare to NYC School 45 minutes sessions), and to thanks AnnaMaria parallel parking technique with making the headlight disappear to judge distance—that’s superb and saved my skin (you just have to get her to understand the technique). For all New Yorkers permit holders and skeptics who move to JC. PDS will make you drive with your permit which is better than NYC 45 minutes classes. PDS provide door to door service and will pickup you at any of the path station within JC.

Fantastic experience: Anna is the best instructor!!! Easy-to-understand explanations such as parallel parking and K-turn , I am very confident that I will practice what I needs for the road test every time. She is very patient and kind. Thank you Anna❤️❤️

Fantastic experience: I had my driving test, and it went really well thanks to Anna Maria. She’s probably the best instructor that can calm your nerve down when its needed the most! I had practiced driving before too, but I was not comfortable with parallel parking and K-turn, but Anna had my back there. I would really recommend to anyone without a doubt!

Negative experience: I paid a 1 hour lesson just to get an idea on what to expect on the road test as I am an experience driver. My instructor was Orlando and I was not happy with the class. He picked me up and without even saying hello (he was on the phone) he asked me to jump in the car and start driving. We drive for about 20 minutes, got to a random area and he started instructing me on how to parallel park using some reference sticks. We did that 3 times plus 3 times on the K turns and then head back. Not much explanation, not guidance as to what to expect in the actual road test. Freddy is great, he drove me to the exam, he is friendlier and more focus on providing guidance. if you are considering taking classes ask for Freddy.

Fantastic experience: I am 29 years old and I grew up in New York so I’ve never had the experience of driving. I started with prosper driving school lessons with Anna Marie! She was amazing! I only took 3 lessons and after those 3 lessons I was so confident in my driving. So much so that we booked my road test after those 3 lessons and I passed my road test on the first try!! I would honestly recommend prosper driving school for those who are nervous to start driving or may have anxiety. They are very patient and professional!! Thank you Anna Marie!

Fantastic experience: Fantastic driving school. I went from a first time beginner to passing the NJ Road Test in my first try. Had about 12 classes total, with 4 different teachers, each teacher was kind, friendly, helpful and professional, and they all made me feel pretty comfortable on the road. Special thanks to Ana Marie who helped me perfect my parallel parking, and also took me to the DMV and helped me relax a ton before taking the test. All of the teachers are fluent in both English and Spanish. Planning on coming back regularly to practice advanced driving. Definitely recommend to drivers of all skill levels.

Fantastic experience: I have taken two classes with this driving school. Both instructors were excellent, but I would definitely recommend my second instructor Ana Maria to anyone just starting. She was extremely calm, clear and patient and really put me at ease. Great qualities if you're learning to drive in New Jersey!

Fantastic experience: The teachers , both went by name Freddy were punctual, were able to assess my driving capability. Since i had experience in driving in my home country, i was able to clear the tests with 4 hr class. David has excellent customer orientation and helped me to schedule test within two weeks time of contacting them. Freddy helped me prepare for the driver test by elucidating most common mistakes too. Overall, a reliable driving school!

Fantastic experience: 12/31/2019 I passed my road test thanks to this school . They always answered all the questions I had without any problems . They are very patient and have confidence in each and every student. When I first went to go see about this school David informed me that I wouldn’t need more than the 6 hours of practice to pass my road test ! I insisted I would need more but he was 100 percent sure I didn’t need any extra courses . They never tried to get extra money from me . I forgot the two men names I had as instructors but overall the process was very good. They also scheduled my road test for me even when I tried to schedule my road test there were no openings for about two months when they did it I had a scheduled test within a little less than a month in Randolph , NJ . There pick up and drop off time is always accurate never late . 5 star rating for me .

Fantastic experience: I bought the 6 hour package and took my road test in Rahway after they helped me book it earlier because they DMV told me I had to wait 3 months for another one. The instructors were really nice as well!

Fantastic experience: I took 6 classes* with Freddy in August. I never had any driving experience. He explained it like I was 5. Which was great! Loved it! *Pick up/drop off included. Then David (admin/customer support) scheduled an appointment (driving test) with the DMV for me. I didn’t even lift a finger. On the day of the test I took a single class with Freddy to refresh my parallel parking. Two hours later I got my license! DMV test felt like a joke after practicing with these guys. Great family owned business.

David was also a great help and friendly, he was able to reschedule my road test in Newark to Lodi. Definitely recommend this driving school!

These guys are extremely professional and i was able to book my classes during weekends and had to reschedule couple of times and they were nice to do it. The communication and customer service has been top notch throughout the process. The best part of the school is its instructors..they were professional, patient and gave me lot of tips. I took the road test in Rahway and passed in first try with this school. They also had a deal ..you get an hour free..if you book 6 hours which is nice. Thank you very much. Highly recommended !!

Fantastic experience: Very happy with Prosper Driving School! They offered training sessions at times that were convenient for me on the weekends and at a good price. Instructors Lucy, Orlando and Freddy were very helpful and professional in teaching you every step that you need to know in order to drive safe on the road and how to perform different maneuvers. All were very patient and came with constructive feedback to boost your confidence in driving. Must also mention David and the excellent customer service he provided, booking training session and the road test and always reachable if there was any questions or concerns.

Fantastic experience: I’d like to start off by saying: AMAZING staff!! These guys are extremely flexible and work with your schedule. David made it super convenient for me to book my classes on the days and times I wanted. He made sure to work with me and schedule me at my convenience. He also made communication very easy which I was surprised at because not every driving school I called when doing my research applied their customer service skills the way David did. My two instructors (Lucy and Freddy), were professional, kind, patient, and nonjudgmental. I was very nervous to drive with people I didn’t know, afraid of being judged that I wasn’t driving good enough. They worked with me and applied constructive criticism when needed but also let me know when I was doing a good job. The day of my road test (today) I was convinced I was going to fail. I was ready to cancel everything because I was too nervous, but they encouraged me to proceed being that they considered I knew what I was doing and that I was indeed, a good driver.. So I did, I followed through and took my road test..... AND I PASSED!!! I am happy to have chosen Prosper to teach me their ways. I will forever apply the skills they taught me. Thank you David, Lucy, and Freddy!!
