I didn't have much driving experience in my life before: one lesson with another instructor and many years ago I drove in my home country. So Ed's lesson helped me a lot! Ed is very patient and sometimes I even laughed during the lesson. I passed the dmv test on the first try. I don't speak English very well and I was afraid that it could be a big problem for me. Fantastic experience: Ed helped me pass my Driving Test on the 1st try. When I first got my Learner’s Permit, I started looking at all the different driving schools around my area, which included ‘Learn to Drive Today’. With other driving schools, I was told that the first available date for one of them would be around May 22nd, May 10th from a second option, and April 28th from a third option. When I contacted Ed on April 16th, he was able to book me for Friday in the same week, only 3 days from my contacting him. Not to mention that he had the best pricing within the list of options that I contacted. During my lessons with him, I was nervous and made a lot of mistakes in the beginning. And despite making the same mistakes again and again, he was patient and calm when providing the needed corrections and adjustments. He would state what I would do wrong, let me know the correct way to do it, and also provide a helpful, visual scenario as to what could happen if I did that same mistake on the road, unsupervised. I also especially liked the fact that the vehicle we drove in was equipped with assistant brake and gas pedals on the passenger side, so when need be, he could step in and intervene, as to prevent any accidents while driving. I felt safe throughout and was able to absorb all the information that he taught me. I chose the 10-hour package with him, but I felt like I was confident enough and learned all I needed to know just after my 3rd lessons with him (6-hours total). The last two remaining lessons, I was just able to polish and perfect what I learned. So, I think if you have prior driving experience already, the 6-hour package might be enough, with Ed’s teaching methods. But if you’re like me, with close to zero driving experience, or if you want to pretty much guarantee you pass your driving test, then the 10-hour package will teach you all you need to know and provide you with the unnerving confidence to do so. I can definitely attest to his 90% passing rate. Once again, I first contacted Ed on 04/16 and was able to pass my Driving Test today (04/26). So, if you’re looking to get your Driver’s License as soon as possible, you cannot go wrong by choosing Ed as your Driving Instructor. I feel like I struck gold with the decision I made and could not be any happier. I can say that there’s only nothing but improvements on what Ed taught me from this point on, and I am excited to receive my official Driver’s License in the mail. Thank you once again for helping me reach my goal, Ed!
