Hello! based on our interactions with you, I believe we had pretty good communication with you all the way through, not just before you enrolled. The assertion that we stopped communicating with you is just not accurate. You completed 5 of the 6 lessons that you purchased, and when the instructor reached out to you via text to see if you were available on a specific day to schedule your last one, she never heard back. As of right now, your last session is still available to be scheduled, so if you would like to still schedule this we can do that, but we would require a response from you regarding whether you can come or not before we can add you to the schedule. I look forward to hearing from you and completing your final session.

Positive experience: I purchased the $374 bundle that included the 30 hour online course and the 6 hours of behind the wheel training. I bought the bundle in December and didn’t get to do behind the wheel training until February 27th, no worries though. All of my behind the wheel trainings were booked with Rachel except one, Rachel was very nice and informative. I had one session with Destiny. Destiny was very rude! She scolded me when I made mistakes instead of trying to constructively explain what I did wrong. She was overall just rude. My overall experience was good, I didn’t have to take the road test at the bmv, I was able to take it with Rachel which made me feel better!

Positive experience: Edited review. I had initially left a one star review because it seemed like they were going to just take the money and never schedule a driving date. The same day I posted the review, they got the driving date scheduled. This is probably not a coincidence, and it is a shame that consumers have to post a negative review in order to simply get the service they paid for. Now that driving training has started, I can rate the training service itself as good. The trainer not only focuses on what is needed for the test, but also general good safety practices.
Fantastic experience: I've struggled so much with anxiety when I've attempted to drive. I signed up for driver's ed in hopes that I could get rid of the fear and it worked better than I could have hoped. Rachel was so nice and calm the entire time, and a genuine pleasure to be around. I loved working with her!!
Negative experience: They don't pick calls they don't respond to emails or messages I paid for My driving schedule for 6 hours in November 2023 it's March 2024 I have only done two for peace of mind and to save your money think twice before booking classes with them it hurts soo much trying to follow up for me to be schedules and I get no response despite emailing them with the days am free

Negative experience: Zero star if it’s possible, regarding customer service, office closed Monday to Friday, emails, calls and texts no anyone to respond. Sometimes reviews tell truth. This is Email from drivezone! “We don't really offer refunds, but we would be happy to schedule your remaining appointments if you would like”. I requested my refund after i received my driving license from another school, that is respond from drivezone. 5 months no schedule and already paid, I decided to look another school because my permit was almost expired and I received DL. Now offer to schedule after I request my refund and have DL. It’s another way of scamming people if no refunds.

Fantastic experience: This is our 2nd time using Drive Zone. Both of our daughters greatly benefited from the program and enjoyed the instructors. They were very professional and very flexible with the scheduling that we needed to get my daughter through the course before heading back to school. I highly recommend them.
Negative experience: My son had a great experience with drive zone 2 years ago. I've called, texted, emailed, my husband has called, emailed and texted also. No one will return our calls or schedule my daughter for instructor drives. I've tried going in person but they're usually closed. We started this process in July...she'll be 16 here soon.
Hello Suzanne! I cannot begin to express how confused I am by your comments. Looking at the account, It appears that all six of her drive hours were scheduled online by someone on your end back in September. It looks like you have already completed 2 of them, had a no show appointment for one of them (which we waived the fee for) and then cancelled another. This still leaves two appointments that are still currently scheduled. This of course is why we offer the online scheduling, to prevent frustrations such as this. I do see where you asked for help in creating a schedule, but when we went to create a schedule, someone on your end had already logged in and done it, so we assumed it had been satisfactorily taken care of. I also see that we had been communicating in regards to an issue that you had run into during our changeover to our new system, but it appeared that you had gotten that taken care of as well as I didn't hear back in regards to that issue, and you were successfully able to submit her permit. As far as coming to the office, we do operate by appointment only at the office, as we have two offices that are managed by the same person, and we need to make sure that someone is there to greet you when you come. This should have been stated on the door, but it is possible that the sign may have fallen down, in which case I can only apologize for the inconvenience. Please reachout to us at [email protected] and we can definitely assist in getting her finished up. Please be sure to include her license eligibility date so we can do everything we can to get her in before then.

Fantastic experience: Heaven sent! I calculated and organized for my son to have his license by the start of the school year 2022. Because covid made things impossible to take virtual class at school, attend sports practices, and online driving classes during the school year, I found it very difficult to get his previous driving school to give us a flexible pathway to obtain that goal. At the previous driving school, 1 1/2 year later we were still trying to complete our class work and schedule our 6 drives. I then decide to seek another driving school. After calling all over the city and receiving tons of voice message, I found Drive Zone. I was able to contact them through text message. I described my problem and they worked with me every step of the way to obtain my son's license. I am a college professor in business. I used this life experience to teach my son the proper way business should conducted between the customer and the service of the provider. I recommend anyone looking to get obtain license for their student drivers to choose Drive Zone. You will not be disappointed with service, and you will get your money's worth.

Fantastic experience: Amazing is the only thing I have to say! My instructor was fantastic without her I wouldn’t have gotten my license! By far the best driving school I have and will ever do! Definitely 10/10 would recommend this place to anyone looking to teach kids or adults how to drive!

Fantastic experience: Hello, I called several driving schools and they couldn’t get me in for months. I called Drive Zone and the gentleman was able to help me figure out what all I needed and the process to help her get her license. They were also able to get me in sooner than the other schools at a lower price. They met all my needs I will be back with my son.

Negative experience: I don't Know how you run a business with no way for your customers to contacting you. Phone number doesn't work, Email doesn't work but they will gladly take your money. Its like they go out of their way to make it as inconvenient as possible to receive any of their services you paid for. This business is on the boarder line between a scam and legitimate business. !!!STAY AWAY!!!
Negative experience: This is a horrible business. Every aspect of their services is awful. They don't answer their phone, Their scheduling website is doesn't even work. It takes them about a week to respond to your emails or will never respond.It takes 3-4 months to schedule you for a 6 hour driving lesson. This a very incompetent company. I recommend everyone to stay away from this driving school.
Fantastic experience: Drive Zone has been amazing for my son to do his in-person driving simulator (which is pretty cool and I got to try it out myself), his online classes, the driving lessons and finally the road test exam through the school instead of at the BMV. Steve has gone above and beyond my expectations and was so accommodating to extending time due to my son's procrastination during his online classes (work/high school/driver's ed balance). The drive instructors were all great. Of the 12 drives, my son had two instructors for most of it and two others for two other drives and he was comfortable with all them - more than he is with me as a rider. LOL The instructors taught the same core principals but they each brought their own experiences to the lessons. I honestly cannot praise Drive Zone, Steve or his instructors enough. I would highly recommend and if I had other children would put them through the school as well. I am not paid for this review, nor did I receive compensation for it. Thank you Steve! Jim

Negative experience: I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND Drive Zone to anyone. They are here ONLY to take your money. IF YOU ARE READING THIS AND STILL WANT TO HIRE THEM FOR DRIVING LESSONS, YOU NEED TO KNOW THAT THEY WILL TAKE YOUR PAYMENT TODAY AND SCHEDULE CLASSES 3 OR 4 MONTHS LATER. We are not in the office on weekends, but still managed to reply to your email on Saturday directing you on how to contact our scheduling department so we could help you find sooner dates to get started. You did provide us your availability, which would have been very helpful in getting a schedule together for you, but on Tuesday you began emailing us demanding to have an appointment scheduled by the end of the week. I am sorry, but there is not likely to be any driving school that can have you started within 7 days of enrollment at one of the busiest times of the year for the industry. You never contacted us prior to enrollment, so there is no possible way that we either told you or implied that we would be able to do this. We did respond to each of your emails, often within minutes, to attempt to get you the best times that we could, even given your unrealistic expectation. Most of these emails you replied to unkindly and continued to demand an appointment the same week, even though you are only available on weekends and evenings. I apologize that you were upset, but your expectations were just not realistic. **I encourage anyone reading this to PLEASE contact either us or whatever school you may be considering prior to enrolling, especially if you are working on a deadline. For us, the best ways are usually via text or email as we are commonly out of the office working with students. But please contact your school and make certain that they can accommodate your requests before you enroll.** We again offered to work you in via cancellations, and I even assured you that we would most likely have you DONE before August, you continued to be very upset and unkind. Had you given us any sort of opportunity to speak with our instrucutors or work off of cancellations, there is a possibility that maybe we could have started you next week. But due to your impatience and unrealistic expectations, we will never know for sure. Negative experience: I thought of getting lessons from this driving school as I've seen 4.5 stars in some reviews but I guess I should have researched further. No way in their website that you would know how long behind the wheel driving lessons schedule will take. After paying and getting access to my site dashboard the earliest behind the wheel I can schedule is 3 months later with very few slots left. I email them if they can do an earlier schedule for me but only got a reply after 2 days after sending them several text and emails. But still they're not able to give me specific dates. They say they'll give me a slot as soon as somebody cancels a slot. So who knows how long? The sad thing is I also included an online course even though I don't need it just because I want to have a waived driving test. They finally agreed to cancel my subscription but deducted $100 for the online course that I don't really need. Beware, think twice before enrolling their behind the wheel lessons schedule sucks.

Fantastic experience: I had never driven before February I started off with instructor mark and wasn't comfortable with his style of teaching I then started with Rachel she had me go do some stimulator hours which boosted my confidence my next lesson I was very confident I can now proudly say after 5 months I am a licensed driver I recommend drive zone to anyone that has never drove it is worth it Thank you Rachel and Steve for believing in me and giving me the confidence that I needed

Fantastic experience: I can’t say enough good things about this place, from day one they continued to impress me with how hands on, punctual and thorough they are. The staff was very accommodating with my scheduling, and my instructor Rachel Is the best human being you will ever meet! she corrected my driving problems in just two lessons and after 6 i was ready and fully equipped to take and pass my drivers test. I am so sorry to hear that you are still having trouble with our online course! I know I spoke to you via email previously and referred you to the company that hosts the course for tech support. Usually they do a pretty good job of responding within about 24 hours, so I can tell you that I will be following up with them in regards to the persistent issues you are experiencing. Please know that the online class does not in any way impact your ability to schedule behind the wheel. If you have already received your permit, you are more than welcome to go ahead and start scheduling via our online scheduling system. I am going to contact the host for the online class and find out what is going on. Also, I will make certain that if you go beyond the 90 days in the course, we will get it extended at no charge to help ease your frustration. Fantastic experience: I had the opportunity to work together with Rachel and she was absolutely amazing with her instructions. Efficient, professional, communicative, polite, etc. My whole experience was very positive and I would recommend any person new to driving (I am in my 40’s and I never drove before) to take the lessons with Drive Zone.
Fantastic experience: I definitely recommend Drive Zone. I have taught all my older children to drive but now just didn't have as much time so sent my 15 year old to Drive Zone. He was surprisingly very comfortable with the instructors. He said he appreciated that they were calm and reassuring and they were always very clear in their instructions. I have never had a problem getting a hold of any of them. My phone messages and e- mails were always answered promptly. My son is now an EXCELLENT driver and as a parent that fact makes me worry much less. Because he attended drive zone we will also recieve a discount on our insurance. It was also affordable enough that he was able to pay for it himself with his part time job. Total win. The 2 girls I have here at home will also attend Drive Zone because of their brothers positive experience.

Fantastic experience: I don’t know why people leave reviews about issues with contacting Drive Zone because they’ve always responded so fast to my emails. I had an issue with the online scheduling and they resolved it minutes after leaving them an email. This is a great company and the online scheduling is convenient so I don’t have to call in to schedule.
Negative experience: Do not use this company, you can lose your money!!!!!! We paid and have not received one lesson. We had to go somewhere else so my daughter could have her lessons done so she could get her licenses. They don’t answer their phones to schedule drive times. I have contacted numerous times with no response. When they finally reached out they won’t refund our money.
Fantastic experience: Before I started my lessons with Drive Zone I was terrified of being behind the wheel but the second I started my lessons with Bob I lost that fear! Bob did a great job teaching me all of the fundamentals and helping me improve each lesson. I just completed my last lesson with him this evening and I feel very confident with my driving skills because of him. Thank you Bob! I also have to say thank you to Stephen for being able to work with my tight schedule as I do work full time. He responded to my emails as soon as he could and was very friendly each time we spoke! Negative experience: Driver zone was never available to answer any of my calls. The biggest issue I had was that they kept wanting to reschedule my driving lessons, which already took a long time to be scheduled in the first place. I’m a little over a week until my driving test and I still have about 4 driving lessons to complete that they failed to schedule me for. I am very unhappy with my experience.

Fantastic experience: I am finally getting my license at the age of 24 thanks to Drive Zone and my instructor, Rachel Campbell. I don't know what the deal is with these reviews saying that they can't get ahold of them -- you can text or email them. Just be patient.

Fantastic experience: I had an awesome experience learning driving from drive zone. The instructors are very professional. My instructor Rachel is amazing. Her teaching style is perfect for beginners like me. 6 classes are enough but you need to have practice other than these. She covered all the necessary things like interstate, downtown , parallel parking. This is worth the money spent, going to sign up for online lessons too :) :)

Negative experience: One of my friends referred drive zone, i got enrolled last december and i have been calling them to check whether they are available or not . They don't even answer your calls, this is so irresponsible.
Negative experience: my sister and i both got played. They're in a hurry for your first drive because as soon as they do they will play with your time and tell you that they are busy for a week or two. After the first drive you cannot ask for a refund. I highly suggest not driving with them if you are in a hurry to get your license.
Fantastic experience: Since I had prior driving experience, I took the one hour class at Drive Zone to brush up the skills. The driving instructor, Rachel was very patient and professional. The parallel parking trick was very useful. I cleared the Driving Skills exam on May 15th. Praise the Lord! Thanks to Drive Zone for helping me gain the confidence and clear the exam.
Fantastic experience: They are very nice and helpful people to work with, Rachel Campbell is a very helpful, fun, and enjoyable instructor. I could not have asked for a better drivers education experience.
Negative experience: Huge problems answering phone calls. I’m in a big hurry to get my license but have to delay now to find another company that answers phone calls responsibly.

Fantastic experience: My daughter took their online class and then did drives in Greenwood. They did a fantastic job teaching her tips and tricks to drive well. I feel like they went above and beyond to make sure she could drive great and not just squeak by on the test. Loved being able to do the road test with them instead of at the BMV! If your looking for the perfect school, this is it!!!

Fantastic experience: I am current student here and I have to say that I love this school. The instructor is very informative and she tells you exactly what you did wrong. She makes you feel comfortable and she is hilarious. They will answer their phone and if you don't just leave a voice message. I promise you, they will call back. At first I was iffy, but this school is really helpful. I would recommend it to everyone.

Negative experience: I had some issue with people returning my calls. I also had issue with getting a corrected certificate to take to BMV. I called I drive safely and got the corrected certificate within minutes but had to pay $9.95 for their typo. I will not refer anyone to this company.
Fantastic experience: My daughter has been taking the driving room classes as well as in the car courses with instructor Rachael. Rachael, is very knowledgeable & very informative with teaching my daughter. She is very patient, kind and very understanding with my daughter she encourages questions as well as asking my daughter questions to make sure she understands exactly what she is teaching her. If (when) my daughter makes a mistake while driving, Rachael will ask her what she thinks she has done wrong, then explains what my daughter should have done or not have done to fix the mistake. I, myself have been driving over 30 years & I as well learn something new every time we go on a drive. Rachael taught my daughter how to parallel park in a technique I have never been taught! It is a fool proof technique, I will start using myself. I am very impressed with Rachael's knowledge & skills she provides! Rachael, is a natural at what she teaches! If anyone ever askes me where or whom I would recommend for their child to start driving, I would MOST definitely recommend Drive Zone & tell them to ask for Rachael as their instructor!
Negative experience: Do not sign, if u sign u hard earned is waste...they will not respond for classes.u will wait for them...u will really feel cheated..
Negative experience: So I paid my money for this class and someone bought them out and now we can't get a hold of them.
Negative experience: Do NOT sign up for this driving school. They closed their Avon location without giving notice to any existing customers. It took them weeks to return phone calls (their is NEVER a live person to answer their phone or be in their office), after having to leave numerous messages. They require you to schedule your drives online and they have very little times available for drives. I had to log in everyday for 2 weeks just to find an open spot. They have very poor customer service and trying to talk to someone is next to impossible.
