Fantastic experience: We visited the Driver School on a Saturday for my daughter’s driver’s license test as a walk-in appointment. We arrived at 11:20 AM, and although it was busy, everything was extremely organized. The staff was friendly and efficient, and the intake process was quick and seamless. The person I believe to be the owner was present, and while she was tough, she was also excellent and very fair throughout the process. Her dedication to ensuring the students are truly ready to drive was evident. In fact, after my daughter’s test, she offered me a job—my daughter did that well! Overall, I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. I highly recommend this driver school to anyone in need of a reliable and professional driver’s school. This place truly goes above and beyond!

Each instructor takes time to build a relationship with the student to ensure they are comfortable behind the wheel which allows for a smooth learning experience. The instructors give prompt and actionable feedback to the student which enables the student to practice between lessons and perfect their driving skills. The whole process from classroom to behind the wheel instruction to the actual driving test is offered at EMS which makes it a one stop shop!

Positive experience: I am Nicholas Gill, I had just passed my driving test with a 100. EMS driving school teaches very well, each of their instructors have different styles of teaching. Though the rockwall location tends to be busy and may have to schedule ahead of time due to influx of other people there. They are kind and professional people. Even though, i had been driving previously for 2 years I did learn a few tricks from the instructors and other students. I also like to watch "Phineas and ferb" when they play it in the lobby. Thank you for y'alls time and passion.

Negative experience: This business is unprofessional from the front staff to the owner. They cancel appointments because of weather, double booking or staff not coming in. It is already hard to book a drive time. When you schedule an appointment staff will show up late to drive time and test. The front desk has no clue on how things work. The owner is rude to staff and students. Yes this is a small business but ran like a circus. The office is set up like a tacky flea market. With knock off purses shoes and goods. This is a driving school not a flea market. As a small business I would still appreciate the owner and staff to be professional and trained. What happened the owner asked below. Exactly what I stated above. Unprofessional , untrained staff. Owner is rude to staff, parents and students. I have seen and heard the owner being rude to staff and customers on more than one occasion. The staff and owner will say one thing one day and a different thing the next. Not personal just honest with the real experience I have had with this location Also they give away free snacks to students who write a good review online. They have a sign in the office that says free snack for Google review.

Fantastic experience: EMS Drivers Edu School is fantastic! As a parent I have had two children attain their learners permit and license through this company!!! Dr. Lewis ,along with her staff ,are caring and truly work hard to make sure that your child is SAFELY ready for the road. Due to my trust in this company, I reached out to become involved as an instructor. I want to help others as they learn how to drive, along with road safety, and this is all due to the nature of the staff!

Negative experience: Poorly managed program. Frequently there wasn’t a driver at the scheduled driving time to teach. We ended up with half of the drive time filled, yet charged for the whole appointment. Poorly organized group. Use with caution. Response to owner’s reply: What you stated is not the whole story. The whole story is we signed up for driving lessons last summer. After our lecture time was complete, there weren’t driving times available. For the one time that was open, the driving instructor was an hour late and rude to my child. I was not credited the missed hour, apologized to, or offered a quick make-up appt. After talking with the staff and realizing that we couldn’t complete the times that summer, I asked for a refund at the time, and was told it was not possible. School started and my child was too busy during the school year to sign up, so we scheduled for the summer. The first appointment scheduled was canceled by your office. The second appointment scheduled we cancelled due to my child getting admitted to the hospital for pneumonia, which we called to inform you of BEFORE the scheduled time and once we knew how sick she was. After our first actual full driving session, more than a year after the lecture classes completed, I get a call at my work during my work hours insisting on a $20 late fee payment or you will cancel my kids further lessons. It was rude, which is in-line with my entire experience with your small business. We have had an incredibly difficult time scheduling and fulfilling appointments with your school. Hence my negative review to sign up with caution, due to the poor organization of your company.

Negative experience: Awful customer service, each time we did a drive time they had us waiting for 45 minutes! What I really want is to tell people to run far away from this school! We absolutely waited for at least 45 minutes for each drive time and you did not give us the full hour like we paid, you did not tell us in advance that my daughter would only be doing 30 minutes to drive and the other 30 minutes is for observing so we aren’t doing that since she didn’t drive with anyone (was told the day of driving this) charge 30 minutes for driving then! Start being transparent with your customers instead of coming on here making excuses for your bad customer service and I have text messages if you want me to post them from your awful staff. I see you have time to run your mouth on every negative review maybe take that time to show up to your driving appointments on time ☺️

Fantastic experience: My son took his driver's education through EMS and had a great experience. Would highly recommend.

Negative experience: Reply to owners comments: My son did NOT ask to leave early, as I already told you. He even asked the instructor to observe another new student. By the way we have phone tracking software that shows how long my son is at your location each time. Additionally, you showed up late by 45 minutes for both of his first two sessions. Even thought your contract that my son and husband signed there is a penalty for the student being late, but apparently not for yourself. We gave you the benefit of the doubt the first time and did not complain. He has NOT received two hours of behind the wheel instruction or even in the car instruction yet and it is in poor taste to state what grade he made on his driving lessons. Regarding his DT grade you stated how well my son was doing after his second session and even shared he was able to drive down to the high school which other students struggle with their 2nd session. As I stated in our text message exchange, we (his parents) are not asking for additional services, we just want what we paid for. You may contact me directly to discuss his remaining sessions. Sincerely, B.Davis Original review: The in person class was informative for my teen. The owner was kind to my son. My main complaint is we paid $500 for the 1:1 driving lesson. The website says 7-2 hour behind the wheel lessons. My son just finished his 4th lesson and so far he has observed someone else drive for an hour and has gotten behind the wheel instruction 30-40 minutes a session.

Negative experience: I did driving lessons here and had to wait an hour for the instructor, and she didn’t even do the full drive time we paid for.

I highly recommend this school to anyone seeking a driver's education. They were extremely flexible with scheduling classes and appointments. They also did a great job working with me from my very first day in class to my very last day when I was taking my driving test. I had a great time learning from the "EMS Drivers' Ed School" and would happily and definitely recommend this school to anyone looking and ready to learn! 5/5 Stars from me!

Fantastic experience: I enrolled my son in EMS to renew his expired permit and get his license.He was able to get his permits renewed and drive within a 1 month. The process was very easy and I highly recommend using them.

Negative experience: Do not recommend. High cost, hard to schedule, cancels appt with no notice and reschedules 3+ weeks later.

Negative experience: I enrolled my son here to take additional driving lessons along with the online and parent taught to get more experience. I paid for 7 hours back in August. I have only been able to schedule 3 hours in the last 6 months due to there never being any classes available. They book 2 months out and are always full. At this point my son has been 16 for 3 months and is scheduled to take his test in March. The last 4 lessons seem pointless seeing as we were wanting him to get them in before he was to get his license. At his last lesson I dropped him off, checked him in and they told him where to go. 15 mins later I receive a phone call asking if he was going to show up for his lesson. They seem really unorganized. Disappointed to say the least.

Negative experience: First of all when I paid for the program they said they would be able to have my kids start the first week of February. Then when their staff is behind and say they have to reschedule to march 20. Then I decided that Id rather have a refund to find a place where they could appoint it faster, but won't give me one like wth.

Fantastic experience: I enrolled my son in EMS Driving school in Rockwall, and after he completed the course, we did the requisite practice driving. (I am a nervous mom but his already having had the basics made it easier for me). We finally decided he was ready and were pleased that he could take the driving test at EMS. He passed!! Dr. Lewis walked us through every step and prepared us for what was needed to get his photo at DPS. He will get that done tomorrow and be done. EMS is so painless and the people are really nice and knowledgeable and helpful. I can't praise them enough.

Fantastic experience: Two of my children have learned to drive through EMS Drivers Ed and I loved how easy it was but most of all loved the staff and how helpful they are. Dr. Lewis and staff make it easy during drive times! I would 100% recommend EMS Drivers Ed to any parent!!

Positive experience: I'm not able to speak for the in-person learning experience, but the online curriculum this school seems a bit iffy. Upon looking over the material, it seemed to mostly be a bunch of jumbled powerpoints with most of the necessary information thrown in under rough groups with each other. The quizzes and assignments also didn't seem to cover any of the given material very deeply, with some topics only being mentioned in one or two questions overall. There were also a few formatting errors with some of the questions, the most egregious being one question with an answer choice that was quite literally just the question prompt somehow pasted in as an answer... Regardless, this course covers most of the basics, but does have the occasional missing detail or key point. I can't fully recommend this school with confidence from an online standpoint, but maybe the in-person experience is better. Edit: My registered name is Ivan Rawls, and I just finished everything you currently have out for your current class session on Canvas. Was able to do so in roughly 3 hours total, because honestly...there wasn't much at all.

Negative experience: I only give 2 stars because when I could reach them, they were nice. I can't get them to answer their phone. I leave message after message for a call back with no response. I'm so frustrated. My son has had his permit for almost 6 months and has done way more than drive time at home. I can't seem to get him in for drive time at the school. What's the issues in someone calling back? I just need him to finish so he can start driving himself to work. It's hard to pick him up at 3 am. So if you find it in your busy schedule to contact me, I would appreciate it. I did, after all, pay for a service I'm not getting.

Negative experience: Used this driving school for the online course and driving test for my 16-year-old. Anytime, I would call to ask a question it seemed like it was children answering the phone that did not have a clue what was going on. The instructor that does the driving test doesn’t seem knowledgeable on current laws. The “test” was a joke to say the least. After our experience, I heard from several other families that had very similar experiences. I am very happy I did not choose to let them do the actual driver instruction. If you’re looking for a school to teach your child to drive look elsewhere. I don’t think I would trust them to teach my dog how to piss outside, let alone teach my child how to drive.

Fantastic experience: I took a 4hr behind the wheel instruction and by the time I was done I was very confident. I did my driving test and passed so well. Keep up the good work. I would highly recommend them.

Fantastic experience: My daughter just completed the driving program through EMS. She did in-person driving instruction and behind the wheel instruction. I was very happy with the program from start to finish. They were extremely helpful throughout the entire process from getting the permit to getting the actual drivers license. Always available to answer all of my questions. The service was beyond excellent and my daughter had positive things to say about the driving instructors. Plus the place has a very homey feel from the lobby to the instruction area. Which is very welcoming for a driving school! I highly recommend their services!

She texted the class weekly and sometimes texted my son directly to assure he would not fall behind. Val is great with communication and her systems work very well. The business is organized and you can tell they are knowledgeable in their field. She is always kind and has great team. She is doing a great job with the community. Do yourself and your kid a favor and use EMS.
