All the instructors are very knowledgeable of the industry and offer personal experiences in their lessons for you to better prepare for a career. Dante, Carl, and Don were very patient and spent plenty of time with students on driving and maneuvering to make sure each student understood how the vehicles move. I would recommend this program to anyone looking to obtain a CDL, you will not be disappointed!

Fantastic experience: It was hard for me getting back to a school setting. Its been 25 years since i sat in a class room. After a short adjustment period we found Great Momentum. Mr Jackson (Director of Operations) is an Angel of a Man. He has proved patient, extremely knowledgeable and has a proven wide "open door" policy for anyone, anytime. Nikki (instructor) makes the classroom fun and also is a Rockin behind the wheel instructor. James is old school and no nonsense sometimes but knows his stuff lights out, listen to the Man. Ronique (Administrator, DMV Tester) is a bright, beautiful and friendly face EVERYday. Gaylord knows his stuff and can get it to you Gently. Carl is a "Jack of all Trades" Instructor, he can read your mind, cheer you up and teach you how to dag on DRIVE. Dante taught me how to shift in Minutes and can see Talent in and bring it out of you! I Thank them ALL dearly for teaching me how to Drive a 10 speed BIG RIG!!! Trust their Process.... come with confidence but drop the Ego... They will get YOU on the ROAD!!!.

Fantastic experience: I was looking for a CDL-A class that was available on the weekends. I needed a school with manual transmission trucks (I didn’t want the CDL restriction for automatic). I picked ShippersChoice because they have a weekend class and they only have manual transmission trucks. The weekend class is only 10 weekends. The program director (mr Jackson), is a very open hearted guy. Very down to earth and genuine - funny when he can be and serious when he needs to be. The instructors - Carl, Mr. G, and Dante were very helpful during my classes and all had very good, down to earth, spirits. Open, honest, and there to help. Come to learn, listen, and learn more and you’ll succeed. Would definitely recommend ShippersChoice to anyone looking to get their CDL. Week day classes are quicker, but if you have a day job the weekend classs are the way to go!

Fantastic experience: ShippersChoice has a great CDL program; all you got to do is come into class each day with a positive mindset and willing to learn. The instructors are personable and top notch. Dante, Carl, & Gayland are great instructors. Each has a slightly different approach to doing maneuvers, which helps you find which method works for you. There are different tips/tricks to gain from each one of them, increasing your chances of success. All around great program - would definitely recommend.

Fantastic experience: This school does exactly what it says.. gives you the skills to past a DMV Class A driving test. All you need to do is come in with a open and dedicated minds set, and listen !! You have to put in the work and use all the tools that the Instructors gives you, that means ask questions or for help when needed. It doesn't come natural to all and believe me it seemed like a long road for me...lol Heads up... Instructor James may seem hard, and straight faced....but stick with him, he is all knowledge.. Thank you James for believing in me. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!

Once you get that 160 hours practice makes perfect, the instructors are very well trained in what they do so listen to them and what they tell you and you'll be set. Overall I'm happy with my decision on picking shipper choice.

Negative experience: Worst place I've ever seen for communicating with people! Especially the financial aid part. People need to get they're ducks in a row at that place!!! A complete waste of time

Fantastic experience: Great place to learn a new career. The instructors and administrative staff were top notch. I recieved my class A license in 5 weeks ( 4 weeks for classes and one week prep for final DMV test). They will not set you up for failure and just rush you through to see you not pass your DMV testing. They will only test you when they think you are ready.

Positive experience: Nearly all students are not ready to test after 160 hours and require more time till DMV ready and appointment made to test. They don't tell you this.
