Fantastic experience: I had Lora and Jeff for the 2 day beginner class, they were great! Made the experience so much better, they answered all the questions they could, they were patient and understanding of people who were having a hard time getting the hang of things. Reasonable price and they give you all the knowledge you need to pass the test! The “intern” did a great job too!

Fantastic experience: This is a comprehensive motorcycle course with top notch instructors. Get good rest before going, it's an intense 2 days. Laura and Con work hard to give riders what they need for success and safety. I'll return for the full endorsement training. The permit was added the day after class, this school is amazing!

Fantastic experience: Update yaya you guys I scedualed a one hour session with an instructor and retested and passed, beep beep So exciting thank you for your patience and kindness :) (Old:)My husband and I recently attended a crash course if you will here and it was pretty dang good! The instructor are really concerned for safely and making sure students get what they need to get before getting out in the roadways :) our class was two full days and you are riding within the first 30 minutes, come in gear and ready to go, they do have large restrooms you are able to change in and out of gear nicely tho:) the bikes are ready to go, and nicely maintained, if you are not sure which to choose they will find the right bike for you, they have options and if somthing happens they are well versed and able to take care of issues as they happen :) my hubsaband is on his next step in this journey and I will be adding private lessons to be there right beside him soon, we had 8 people in our class and a lovely young lady named Jessica scored a perfect score, way to go girl! They said they often have 16 in a class :)

Fantastic experience: Very professional, detailed, thorough and personable Motor School! I took the advanced motorcycle class they had to offer with Jim and Shawn or (Sean) as the Instructors and couldn't be more impressed and happy with the training they provided. (The ladies up front were super awesome too) I left the driving range with much more confidence and skill levels than before I got there. If you don't have your own bike they have a nice selection of motorbikes for you to train on. A few pointers: Get there early and get situated, study the DOL books pertaining to your class for a little head start on the written tests. If you want quality training, look no further. Fantastic experience: Took the motorcycle class this week and it was the best experience both Lara and Shawn were very knowledgeable and made the experience fun. I don't do well in class time but Shawns a very animated individual and kept my attention going. The bikes they supply are great as well. I'll for sure recommend the class to my buddies. Fantastic experience: I took one of their motorcycle permit courses. I had a blast and what I learned is invaluable!

Negative experience: Motorcycle class experience was great other than class time running much longer than expected. After the fact however is a different story. Took my permit class and passed. Was told that we can renew once before getting endorsement. After renewing took my endorsement test and passed. Went to replace my license and the endorsement did not appear. Called Spokane MotorSchool and was told the law had changed and that I had to re-pass my permit test in order to get my endorsement. This was untrue as the dol rider program helped find the problem and I did not have to retest at all. Came off as a money grab as they did not attempt to solve the issue.

Fantastic experience: I wish i could say enough good things about Lora & Sean! These two made the basic course I took with them both fun and safe. Lora is such a well of knowledge and a resource like her is one of a kind. Sean has such a good way of providing feedback that not only makes you feel confident in your skills, but also points out what you need to improve on. My class had 9 students that varied in age from about 20-70, with 5 men and 4 women. I didn’t expect such a diverse group, but it was amazing to see people that came from such different backgrounds and professions all come together and bond as a unit while learning how to ride. I HIGHLY recommend taking a course with Lora and Sean. You will learn a ton from them and you will never forget the first time that everything comes together on the range and you really feel like you’re riding. Thank you guys for everything!

Fantastic experience: I've taken both the Basic and Intermediate courses with Ray as the primary instructor. I can't recommend the school and Ray enough, I greatly appreciate the thoroughness of the courses, at no point does it feel like they're just going down a checklist. In both the classroom and range portions, there was a sense that all instructors don't just want you to pass, but to genuinely be as proficient as possible. I particularly appreciate that the physics behind the lessons were explained, which for me at least instilled a deeper understanding and appreciation of the instruction. Even when struggling, all instructors were encouraging and gave excellent feedback which quickly helped correct any problems. I would highly recommend for anyone interested in learning to ride, and will definitely be returning for the advanced courses.

Negative experience: dont take the advanced class, a waste of time and money. you will learn nothing that is on the test. Best advice learn whats on the test practice and just go take the test.

Negative experience: The did not set me up to succeed at the test. Spent the whole day in the rain learning nothing that was on the test and was not told before hand what we needed to do in order to pass.

Fantastic experience: These guys love what they do and want to share that knowledge. I plan on continuing to take classes to sharpen my skills. I highly recommend them.

Fantastic experience: I just completed the Beginners course with Ray & Aseel. They were fantastic instructors. Their verbal instruction & demonstrations were spot on. As a beginner, with virtually zero experience, my confidence & skill level have definitely improved. I’m super excited to start practicing for the Intermediate class & endorsement. Fantastic experience: Good knowledgeable instructors, very patient.

Negative experience: I was put on hold over 10 minutes and when 4pm struck they left the building and had me waiting until I realized that they completely ignored me and left for the day. Unprofessional, unethical, and inconsiderate by one of the male staff members.

Fantastic experience: Just finished the basic motorcycle class with instructors Irving and Aseel, for my permit. The 2 day class was more than I expected. I gained alot of good knowledge and experience. When I made a mistake, one of the instructors would explain to me what went wrong and how to correct it. All while being friendly, positive and friendly. I will be attending the intermediate class and a few others because good training is never a bad idea.

Fantastic experience: Took a beginner motorcycle class. The instructors were knowledgeable and offered personalized feedback to make me a better rider! My 2-day class was over the weekend where we had record breaking high temps (over 100) so for day #2 the instructor and entire class agreed to change the start of the class two hours earlier and the instructors did the classroom time in the afternoon instead of the morning. BOY what a great decision on such a HOT day! Their flexibility, feedback, and just real life stories made for a great time. I've already scheduled my next class with them!

Fantastic experience: I completed both my Basic Training Course for my motorcycle permit and the Intermediate Rider Training - Endorsement, to obtain my Motorcycle Endorsement. For my permit training, Ray and Michael were humorous (actually Michael is hilarious )and encouraging while imparting their years of riding experience to ensure we learned the skills to be safe on the road. And again for endorsement, Ray instructed with Aseel. Safety was again stressed as we built upon our riding skills. The stories Ray shares reiterate the points to drive the importance of the skills learned to real life street riding. I plan on attending a course each year at Spokane Motor School, to further develop my skills. I highly recommend Ray, Michael, Aseel and the Spokane Motor School. Suggestions for the class - if you have your own motorcycle or scooter bring it. For the permit class, you are not given a very long lunch. I suggest bringing your own lunch. Also, weather can change, bring appropriate clothing to add or take off as necessary. Reading the Basic Rider Training Course book prior to the permit class helps. It is a necessity prior to day two. For the Intermediate Rider Training - Endorsement (IRT) read the Motorcycle Operator Manual - Two- and Three-Wheel and the repetition Ray gives you ensures a pass on the 50 question written.

Negative experience: For the price not very helpful

Fantastic experience: I found out about this place at the end of my road. It's only a minute from my house and I didn't even know! Goes to say, I never did my knowledge test or drive practice here. However, when I called to schedule an appointment for skills test, the other person on the line was polite and professional. I felt like I was in good hands already. Took the test and aced it, the test instructor was easy going and didn't make me feel nervous at all, she was honest and friendly. Definitely recommend this place and if I was to do a course, I'd choose this place again!

Negative experience: I took my test for my permit here today and failed. The reason for me failing was myself, I didn't prepare enough before taking the test. The staff took my test and marked it at the front desk and instead of privately telling me that I had failed they announced it in front of everyone that was there (other customers) which was very embarrassing. I won't be back.

Fantastic experience: These guys were great. I did a motorcycle class and not only was it fun it was serious and educational. Knocked out my motorcycle permit and endorsement test out all in one day and got to run drills and practice for many hours. Always something new to learn and they are very kind. Might be going back for a cornering class.

Fantastic experience: I highly recommend Spokane Motorschool to anyone, especially if they've never even rode a motorcycle (and are over 60). I went from being terrified and completely overwhelmed on my first day (not even knowing how to shift up or down) to being confident and knowledgeable enough by the end of the 2nd day to pass the written and skills test for a 3 wheel motorcycle endorsement. If it hadn't been for our trainers, Greg and Ray, being so kind, patient, and encouraging; I without a doubt, would have given up in frustration.

Fantastic experience: From the Office Staff to the Motorcycle Instructors all are welcoming, friendly and very positive. Policies were well explained and all my questions and concerns were addressed thanks to Rachel (owner) and Vicki. The Instructors Mike and Jason prepared us well in the various riding exercises to equip us for the riding tests. Fantastic experience: If you are looking at these reviews thinking about taking a motorcycle (or driving class), look no further - this is your place. I took the two day basic motorcycle class and it was exactly what I needed. I have always wanted to have my own motorcycle but, have felt some hesitation because they seemed so dangerous. This class gave me the foundation to understand how to remain in control of the machine, understand how everything works and how the functions work together. Knowing that I have the control has given me the confidence to continue down this amazing new journey. I was lucky enough to have Rachel and Michael as instructors. I think the thing that made the class for me was their clear passion and excitement to be there - this isn't just a job to them. I felt comfortable and supported the whole time! During different exercises if I didn't understand something, they always took the time to listen to my questions and answer them thoughtfully. Learning something new is as challenging as it is rewarding. I can confidently say the whole team at the Spokane Motor School is there to make sure you succeed in your goals! I will be back to take more classes!

It snowed on the second day of my class so they had to postpone and they were so accommodating it was amazing. I had the pleasure of interacting with Rachel, Michael and Jason during my two day course and let me say that they are a great group of people. Fantastic experience: I brought my 15 year old son here to complete his driver education. I can not express how amazing the staff is at Spokane Motor School. They were friendly, helpful and genuinely cared about my son’s safety on the road. He was able to pass the class as well as his knowledge and skills tests for the DOL without issues. They were available to answer all my questions and their fees are very competitive with other companies in town. I will be back with my next young driver in a few years but in the meantime I will continue to share my experience in support of this local business.

Fantastic experience: I took my three wheel endorsement class here a few weeks ago. It was awesome! The instructors were always very clear and supportive. Three wheel outfits were provided and we got to ride for four plus hours each day; be ready to ride a bunch. The nice thing about all of the riding goes back to the type of instructors that work here; we practiced very specific sequences until we all got it. All of the sequences built on the last, so by the time that you're asked to do 10 things in order, you're ready. I would highly recommend Spokane Motor School.

Negative experience: instructions were not clear. guy had to move comes around while tryng to explain the test. after doing what we were told, he said we did it wrong... wee did exactly what he'd asked. threw me off and pissed me off. waist if money if you ask me.

Fantastic experience: Learned a lot through the beginner's course. They offer many courses but be sure to pick up classes on the weekday since classes are usually smaller. Overall very fun and the instructors are very kind and are willing to go as slow or fast as you would like to learn.
