Fantastic experience: Signing up with Hoffmans will be the easiest thing you'll do! Chris is so helpful and professional, he will sign you up, and will reply to your questions quickly through text about anything! My sister had Bill as her instructor and throughly enjoyed her classes with him!

Fantastic experience: Can't say enough great things about Hoffman's Driving Academy! From Chris to all of the driving instructors. Chris is very responsive (he called me back on a Friday night at 7pm while on a cruise!!). Very easy to work with, and made the process seamless. The instructors were great, very patient and each provided a different perspective for driving techniques. They have various driving packages to fit your needs. We will definitely be using them again for driving lessons for a second child!

Fantastic experience: If I could give more than 5 stars from the bottom of my heart I would. Each instructor taught me something new. I couldn't of done it without out Tom or Bill! Today, after a bad experience with a local driving school, I finally passed my road test and this school was beyond excellent, and worth every penny I spent. Tom cleaned it up and verbally told you. His hard criticism made me strive harder and a more safe driver. Bill is the best, he was my very first instructor from this school and reminded me so much of my dad. He showed you visually of what you were doing wrong and corrected you along the way. I gained confidence, and put my mind to it! My prayers go out to any driver out there feeling discouraged, and I hope you come across this driving school. Not to mention Chris Hoffman himself is beyond great with a heart of gold that strives for the best for all his students. He was very accommodating around my personal schedule and I am very far from the school. Definitely the best driving school around if you are seeking any lessons.

Fantastic experience: Chris and his associates at Hoffman Driving Academy are A++. My son took his 5 hour course, driving instruction and road test through them. In a day of age where " customer service" tends to be lost, Hoffman pulls through. If you text or call Chris with anything he gets right back to you. There were a couple times when my son couldn't make it to St. Mary's for his driving instruction and Hoffman came to South Cheektowaga to pick him up. My daughter will definitely be using Hoffman when in a couple years.

Fantastic experience: I absolutely love the instructor that taught me which was BILL, not just Bill but THE FAMOUS BILL. He is absolutely incredible, he helped me pass my driving exam within 3 lessons or less on my first try. He provides feedback and keeps you entertained while riding and goes above and beyond when it comes down to teaching someone to drive. He taught me my whole fundamentals on how to drive and how to do daily things that most people don’t think about. Definitely more than just an instructor all together, he is a package deal of a person and an amazing friend overall.

Negative experience: My driving instructor subha was absolutely incredible. She was nothing but professional, kind and informative every single time I had a lesson with her. The owner of the school however was not as pleasant to deal with. I had to reschedule my road test because of an error he made and failed to take responsibility for. He tried to place blame on the instructor and then on myself. He tried to charge more money after his mistake...when we purchased a package (not on the cheap side!) For the second road test he gave me a completely different vehicle even though I requested the vehicle I've been practicing in. I failed the test. I feel as though he set me up to fail on that second test by giving me a vehicle I'm not familiar with. The owner is not truly looking out for his customers. He only cares about the money. The way he places blame on the people working under him and his rude attitude is extremely disturbing as well as unprofessional.

Fantastic experience: I wanted to give an appreciation to my driving instructor Subha Islam. She helped me pass my road test with a VERY short amount of time and was very patient with me. GO SUBHA!!!!

Fantastic experience: Great experience w Hoffman’s Driving Academy. Great instructors. The scheduling was simple, flexible. We got all the lessons and road test scheduled, completed and passed in about 4 weeks.

Fantastic experience: I took lessons with Hoffman's this summer and I had an above and beyond great experience. Chris was super accommodating of the fact that I was a college student at UB and lived around North Campus, which a good distance away from Lancaster, NY. I had the seven lesson package and I added an additional two lessons before my road test to better prepare myself. Chris helped me combined each of two 45 minute lessons into one, which lowered the additional costs charged for out of area pick up and drop offs. Throughout this whole process of the lessons, Chris was super professional and friendly. I had Jeremy for my first lesson and he was very kind and helped relax my nerves as a new driver. I had Kaya for the rest of my lessons and my road test and she is the sweetest lady ever and will teach you the best ways to succeed. Both instructors were super patient and I can 100% say I don't think I would've done as well as I did on my road test if it were not for them. Seriously cannot say enough great things about Hoffman's!

Fantastic experience: If I could give more than 5 stars, I honestly would. I had a bad experience with another driving school earlier so I was a bit nervous before going to the lessons. However, instructors here are very professional and helpful. They will help you gain confidence and get better at driving/decision making. I had a very difficult time parking before getting lessons here but now, my confidence has grown in that field and I don’t have as hard time as I used to in parking. She was honest about my son’s skills and felt he only needed that one, 45 minute road test review session. That gives me relief since I have been his only driving instructor to that date (COVID messed with Driver’s Ed and the parent had to be the driving instructor with not much instruction from Driver Ed). Fantastic experience: If you are looking for driving lessons, Hoffmans is the best around. My son took lessons with another company when he first got his permit. That was a waste of money as he never left our neighborhood & the instructor simply did not teach him anything. I found Hoffmans & what a huge difference!!! Chris was very professional, friendly and very accommodating. He got back to me veryquickly with any questions. The instructors were awesome! They taught my son so well & gave him that much needed confidence. Plus, he passed his first road test with ease! I’m glad I found them!!

The great staff at Hoffman's put my son at ease through the course of his lessons. They were very relatable and personable with my son to the point that he actually looked forward to going for lessons. At the end of each lesson, I always received feedback on my son's progress (in addition to it being posted electronically in their progress reports that you'll have access to). He really listened to my story regarding my son’s driving experience prior and I felt he truly wanted to see him get his license. My son took took his drivers test twice and didn’t pass. He was anxious at this point not understanding what he was doing wrong. Chris’ instructors were all wonderful and made sure all his skills (and his nerves) were test ready. And today he’s an official licensed driver! My son was very relaxed with the instructors and they all made him feel comfortable behind the wheel. Fantastic experience: I reached out to Chris Hoffman of Hoffman Driving Academy soon after my son got his permit. He was patient and knowledgeable and answered all my questions regarding the process to get a driver license. We purchased 6 private lessons and were so happy with the individualized instruction. Drew was so kind and really encouraged my son. We then decided to purchase the road test package which included a road test lesson and the instructor taking my son to the testing site. Once again we were lucky to have Drew. My son passed his road test and we feel confident it is partly due to the terrific individualized instruction that he got. We were so grateful for the professionalism, courtesy and kindness shown by Chris, Drew and the rest of the staff at Hoffman’s. Next, my son will be taking driver education through Hoffman’s so he can drive after 9 pm and we can receive an insurance discount.
