Negative experience: Idk if yall teach students to drive 10 under the limit or if yall are just unqualified. Either way, it's unsafe and someone is going to get hurt. Fix it... please and thank you....

Fantastic experience: I had an excellent experience with Hickory Driving School. I took total 2 six hours training session with them. I was completely new to driving. From the very first lesson, the instructors (Dave and Bonnie) were professional, patient, and clear in their explanations. They made sure I felt comfortable and confident behind the wheel, and the lessons were always well-structured and tailored to my learning pace. The cars were in great condition, and I appreciated how the instructors focused on both safety and practical driving skills. I passed my driving test on the first try, and I honestly believe it was all thanks to the top-notch training I received. Highly recommend this school to anyone looking to get their license!

Fantastic experience: Ms Denise was AMAZING!!! She made my daughter feel comfortable and at ease!! Ms. Denise wasn’t just my child’s instructor, next to us she was her biggest cheerleader! She was patient, kind, and understood the anxiety a kid goes through taking their drivers license test. After Ms. Denise’s coaching, my daughter parallel parked like a champ! We really appreciate all her efforts!

Fantastic experience: UNBELIEVABLE EXPERIENCE!!! Andrea our driving instructor for my daughter should be a Professional Teacher! Her calm demeanor, yet confident and positive feedback gave my daughter the mindset she needed to pass her drivers test! From her first trip out for her 6 hours driving, to the day of the test drive through Andrea's care for her students was always first priority! Highly recommend Hickory, and if your blessed enough to have Andrea you are going to be treated top notch!

Fantastic experience: We used Hickory for the permit required 6 hours and again for another round of 6 hours, followed by the day of the driver’s test. Denise was a great driving instructor for my daughter. She had patience and a great sense of humor that helped my daughter feel more comfortable and confident, enough to pass her test. Denise even followed up with me about the experience for strong points and areas of weakness. I know I am forever grateful to her.

Fantastic experience: My instructor was Andrea, she did my driving lessons and took me to my road test. She was great and very supportive allowed me to make mistakes and gave positive reinforcement. Overall, a good and positive person.

Fantastic experience: Andrea was my instructor and I absolutely love her. She is amazing and when I began my 6 hours I was incredibly nervous but her kindness and warmth and understanding allowed me to face my fear of driving with confidence. She took me to take the road test and prior to making our way to the DMV we practiced driving and parallel parking. I passed my test because of her and her amazing teaching skills. I could not recommend Andrea more, she is the best teacher and person!

Fantastic experience: I had Andrea for additional practice sessions and my road test and she was literally THE BEST!!!! I failed my test two times before working with her because I didn’t have a clear idea as to how to parallel park and I overall wasn’t confident. She was super patient and also super funny which made me feel a lot more relaxed and confident in my driving abilities. She also went out of her way to make sure I was prepared and now not only did I pass my test but I feel like I could parallel park in my sleep! Overall working her was the best experience and I couldn’t ask for a better instructor!! Her music was so good too!!!

Fantastic experience: My instructor Andrea was an amazing women who helped me prepare for my road test. Not only did she help me improve my parking, but she helped me learn a technique that will work for any car. During the lesson she helped me calm my nerves and gave me amazing advice. I recommend this school for anyone trying to get driving lessons. 10/10 would use again

Fantastic experience: We had a very pleasant experience with this driving school in Hunterdon County! Staff was very helpful in explaining the entire process on how to acquire a learners permit. Kim was willing to stay open beyond the stated hours so that we could pickup our paperwork. My sons instructor, Mr. B was fantastic!!! He was patient, encouraging and supportive. We would highly recommend this driving school!

Fantastic experience: My instructor Andrea was amazing! I had no initial interest in driving but she really motivated me and now I love driving. She was very patient with me when I would hit my brakes randomly and inspired me to be confident and careful on the road. I couldn’t have asked for a better instructor!! It was an awesome experience.

Positive experience: There was a slight delay as Hickory followed COVID safety protocols, but I felt that they went above and beyond to work with me to schedule the lessons for my son at the earliest possible date.

Fantastic experience: We loved our instructor, but the the tires on the car needed to be filled when he got to our house. Our instructor was patient, very flexible, and easy to talk to while on the road. Our son felt very comfortable driving with him. Would definitely recommend.

Fantastic experience: Great driving school. We used them for both our boys. Flexible driving instruction options. They are thorough with the entire permitting process to setting up the testing date. They also offer a service to bring your child to their test after a review and practice of the testing process. We recommend that service as well, particularly if your car does not have a handbrake.

Fantastic experience: From the office staff who called back promptly, answered questions and made the whole paperwork process simple, to the fearless instructor who encouraged our daughter through the six hours of training and went out of his way to get the permit to her as quickly as possible, the whole experience with Hickory Driving School was a pleasure. We highly recommend trusting your child’s driver education with Hickory!

Fantastic experience: Our 3 children took their driving lessons through Hickory, and 2 of the 3 also took their written permit test at Hickory as they wished to get their permit before taking the test in school. We had Mike Cifelli as an instructor, and he was excellent ... calm, safe, full of information. The office is well-organized and Terry, the office manager, keeps things running like clockwork. The new owner, Brent, has made Hickory even better. Thank you all!

Everyone from the receptionist to the Instructor are incredibly friendly. And Jane the Instructor my son had was amazing. Would highly recommend them to everyone.

Hickory is well organized, professional, encouraging, patient,flexible and kept us out of the dreaded DMV. Our daughter was a fairly confident driver, Hickory confirmed her and encouraged her. I would highly recommend them and I will continue to do so.

My daughter took the 6 hour driving course and then did another 1 hour review closer to her road test. And - she passed and then drove us home. Fantastic experience: So far two of my kids went through Hickory. At first I thought Driving school was just a formality until I saw what Hickory taught them. They are really really good.
