Fantastic experience: WONDERFUL!! From beginning to end with using May Driving School's services, I cannot explain enough how grateful my daughter and I are that we chose this driving school. My daughter is 16 and needed a 6-hour program. She was very nervous and was scared to even press the gas pedal before taking these lessons. We called May Driving School and the receptionist answered all of our questions in a very knowledgeable and professional manner. Our instructor, Maya, taught my daughter so well that we immediately scheduled the road test in 1 year with May Driving School too. Pricing is reasonable and fair considering how professional and experienced all instructors are. WE CANNOT SAY ENOUGH GOOD THINGS ABOUT MAY DRIVING SCHOOL. Fantastic experience: Had Bill and Robert as instructors. Both were very good teachers and gave clear and helpful advice.

Negative experience: I didn't even bother signing up with this school. I called for information and someone named 'Mike' who was the receptionist picked up the phone. When I started asking questions, he became rude and told me 'these are hypothetical questions' and noted 'we have been speaking for 12 min and I don't have time'. I asked for the owners information to speak directly to someone who had more time, he became arrogant and hung up. If a receptionist has that little time or lack of patience for a young teen's parents inquiring about the process, this school should not be in business. I would absolutely not have your kids enlist here.

Fantastic experience: Overall I am pretty impressed I was able to even pass the road test on my first try. Over about 6 hours of actually driving with my instructor I had thought I’d still needed a months work but surprisingly my road test was scheduled 3 days from then. What greatly helped was my instructors amazing confidence and ability to stay calm when I made severe errors. Lastly I’ll just add that my instructor was very knowledge full of many tricks for parallel parking and K turns as well as other such tips.

My instructor was very nice and clear on informing me what I needed to do after my first day I felt as if I gained lots of confidence with my driving and wasn’t nervous any more. Fantastic experience: The instructor I had was very dillegent and to the point and strives for you to do not just ok or well but very good. he takes it simple and from the basics and works your way into the more adavanced stuff and without him I wouldn’t have my license :) so if you’re on the fence go ahead and give them a call you’ll it’ll be fantastic experience for your test.

I took a refresher course with May Driving School prior to taking the exam and passed the road test on my first try. The school made it really easy to learn and be comfortable with things like parallel parking and K-turns and it was a great experience overall. I would definitely recommend this school to anyone looking for a good teaching experience and introduction to driving.

Negative experience: We booked Maya after seeing the earlier reviews. We were left with disappointment after the initial class. We booked her for an hour class, but she ended up taking for a 2 hr drive which is unprofessional. She should've informed us about this before she took her to drive. Also while teaching, she was on at least 4 personal calls over the phone, and there were talks not related to driving. Not sure if this was just a one off experience. I would not recommend this school if you are a nervous starter to driving. They also charge $10 more per hour than other schools around this area.

Fantastic experience: I passed my test for the first time. She taught me very well. But do take a practice before 1 or 2 days of your test and do take on the same day of your test.

Negative experience: My instructor came 30 minutes late to our session once (which I could forsee if this other stuff didn't happen), repeatedly talked on her phone during our practice hours and didn't give me driving advice even when I asked for it. In addition to 6 hours of practice, I also purchased the pre-driving exam service and my instructor split my *paid* hour of practice in half because she brought another customer with us who was also taking a road test without telling me beforehand. This is the second driving school I've had experience with and the service is extremely unprofessional and unreliable. It is worth spending an extra hundred or two on a better but more expensive school than this one. The instuctor was, however, very kind, but to pass the road test you need a professional, focused instructor not a nice one.
