Fantastic experience: Thank you so so so much to Drive Smart and staffs at this location. There are no appointment at DDS office before 2 months. Drive smart acted like a boon in this situation. You can schedule road test with them in a weeks time. No training is needed if you are 18 or above. Price for road test is nominal and really stress free. You get 2 attempts. I recommend drive smart for everyone who wants to get their drivers license without much hassle.

Negative experience: Very disappointed that the instruction vs what is tested are in no way related. My child failed their driving test because they did what they were taught and told was good driving skill and technique. To make it worse my child’s driving instructor saw them before the test and told them just do what we practiced you will pass. Sadly not true at all.
Fantastic experience: The Best experience for your Teen. The whole process was was so simple and easy to follow through. Right from registering for a class to taking the classes and driving lessons. Every Staff member was excellent and personable. Most importantly my kid was excited, felt safe and happy to be there. The owner was fantastic the ladies at the reception were great to work with. Mr. Alonzo Thornton, is Gem of a Gentleman. He gave my son the confidence he needed to be able to learn to drive safely and confidently. My kid was able to pass the driving test. Simply a Great Human. The instructor was fantastic per my kid. My kid was being bullied during the in class session by one of his peers. However the Instructor/Owner dealt with matter swiftly and respectively to address the situation right away to ensure all kids safety. Kudos to all of you at Drive Smart. If only all schools and other institutions Mgmt. would be as alert and aware, as you guys, then bullying would not exist or at least be dealt with Right away. Alas Would Highly Recommend Drive Smart JC to all. The Best.

Fantastic experience: Amber (front desk for the jc location) IS ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. she is so helpful and organized on her planning and trying to find days and times that accommodate both your schedule and there’s. the communication is crystal clear here and the steps given make it very easy to follow for a smooth and stress free process. Tosh Thomas (my instructor) is PHENOMENAL. he taught me everything i needed to know safely and with patience and time. truly one of the best instructors with so much patience and knowledge. my parents even noticed after my first lesson how much better my driving and parking had gotten. i am BEYOND thrilled with this process because of the amazing staff at Drive Smart Johns Creek. thank you endlessly.

Fantastic experience: I bought a package (30 hours in person Driver's Ed, 6 hours behind the wheel, 1 hour tune up and road test) for my 16-year-old daughter. The whole experience was great. Everyone I met in the driving school was so nice. Someone was always there when I called and answered my questions. Their online scheduling was very convenient. Instructor Alonzo was so patient and corrected my daughter's mistakes. He communicated with my daughter and me after each driving lesson. That was very important. My daughter passed the road test in one take. We are very happy with this driving school and recommend this driving school to anyone.

Positive experience: Updated Sep5th: They removed the $50 charge and i was able to schedule classes again. Hoping to see the class go through without issue. I will keep posting as per what i experience. Hence change the rating from 1 star to 3 stars for now. Original review: My daughter is trying to scheduled driving classes for 2 months and they make it extremely difficult to do it. Finally after lot of attempts we were able to schedule the couple of classes and they simply cancelled it. They take the full cost up front without any assurance of service. Now when i tried to book a slot, i was blocked and they mention that i need to pay $50 more as i have cancelled a slot. They didn't mention that anywhere when i was trying to change the slot immediately after clicking the wrong button and disabled our access to schedule the timeslots. i have been calling their # to schedule and sort out these issues, but no one calls back or pick up their phones.

Fantastic experience: Very pleased with the whole process, even during Covid. The classroom sessions were effective and my son got his permit on his 1st try. After a year with the permit, the refresher went well and then on to the test. After failing the first test, he passed the second time. Scheduling was very easy and customer service was always very polite and professional. I don't know why they have any bad reviews because I would highly recommend them.

Negative experience: Disappointed. My neighbor recommended DriveSmart as her three children had good experiences. The classroom training was thorough and professional. The driving lessons were good until my son said the different teachers gave him conflicting information. My email concern about this went unanswered. I had difficulty scheduling driving lessons (due to lack of spots) and when I inquired, I was told they have a shortage of instructors (understandable) and they’d provide a school excuse note. While I thought this was odd, I scheduled a session towards the end of the school day. When I asked for the school note, I was told “we don’t do that but I’ll talk to the manager”. I shared the email where this was written and I was told “that is someone at another location”. When my son completed his lessons, I was told I’d receive his certificate in 24 hours. 48 hours later, I received a certificate for a different student!! I’m highly disappointed with the customer service. This is not a cheap investment and I expect, at minimum, correct and consistent information. I have two other children who will need drivers training. I’ll be looking for alternatives.

Fantastic experience: Words can not express how great this company is. My son was having challenges at the local DMV DDS due to the long waits and frustrated workers. His confidence was being demolished before the road test actually began. My husband and I decided to give this company a call. From the 1st time the nice representative answered the call I could feel this experience was going to be different. I wanted her to know as an educator I completely understand the importance of building up students before tests. She reassured me that their instructors were professional and kind. When I say this was the best experience any parent could I am not exaggerating. The appointment was at 1:30. He was being called back at 1:32. The gentleman greeted him as they had been friends forever. Needless to say my son passed his test at 2:00 and we are so happy and blessed. We live 50 minutes away and would gladly drive here daily to receive service this good! Thank You Drive Smart you won our Hearts!

Fantastic experience: My teen went through the in-person summer class, driving lessons, and a final driving test through Drive Smart. While the process became a bit convoluted due to Covid and our nearby location closing, Drive Smart worked with our family to create an experience we were very pleased with in the end. They honored the contract we originally signed - even though our teen was taking much longer to get through the process than originally intended. The driving instructor helped my teen build confidence with her patient lessons. The whole experience was positive, and I would definitely recommend the school and use them again for our next teen driver.

Fantastic experience: Over the course of a few years, we have sent three of our children to Drive Smart for the Driver's Ed as well as the behind the wheel program with testing. Most recently, due to a military assignment there were some much needed scheduling issues for my child. The team sprung into action to make it happen. Special thanks to Mendi W., Kirk B. and James P. in taking the time and making sure everything was taken care of before heading out. Lessons were done and road test taken. 100% recommend them!

Fantastic experience: I put both of my children through the Drive Smart Georgia program. Sign-up was easy and straightforward both for the class as well as the individual driving lessons. Both kids had over 40 hours of practice with me first, and then their three lessons with Drive Smart took them over the top, giving them the confidence they needed to drive with someone other than their parents. All the instructors were wonderful and gave my kids valuable insight into traffic laws and the road test itself. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

Fantastic experience: Great instructors supporting my teen with her driving skills. Kept us as the parent informed what she needed to focus on and how to take her Road Test. I don’t know why other reviewers had problems with scheduling, as she took all her lessons within a three month period without any delays or rescheduling problems. This was during COVID and could not have been more easy. Will say that although the cost may appear high, my teen received her passing grade - no hassle. Parent satisfied.

Fantastic experience: I had a great time taking classes here. I took virtual classes during the summer; the teaching was superb and I believe I have learned everything. Passing the classes were easy thanks to effective teaching. I ended up taking physical driving classes here too. I really liked my instructor Karlene, she was effective and kind, helping me with not only road driving but also parallel parking, backing in, and straight line backing. I would recommend this to anyone seeking driving help. I took my road test here and passed. My instructor was Mr. Bob and he was very nice. I know some reviews said he was too quiet but I was able to understand him. He also offered to speak up if I felt he was too quiet so it does not exactly make sense. Overall I've had a really good experience with Drive Smart and would recommend them to anyone.

Negative experience: I have to agree with the previous review by Jared. All instructors were great except the one giving the road test. You can hardly hear him talking and his assessments do not seem to agree with what the other instructors considered "awesome jobs" on all three of my son's report cards. I find it hard to believe that he drove any differently than when he was with the other instructors. He also happens to be the only one giving the road test at that location so it might be time to get a few other road test administrators to give other drivers more of fair assessment.

Negative experience: The actual driving classes were easy and dependable. Setting up actual driving lessons have been an entirely different story. I've tried for months to get someone to return an email or phone call. I get that things are a mess with Covid-19. But Covid-19 did not shut down the internet or phone service. Now when you send them an email, it's sent back saying your message is blocked. There is no excuse for the lack of communication. Do NOT waste your time or money on this company.

Negative experience: Overpriced for no reason. The classroom experience is a JOKE. The vehicles are old and unsafe. The entire company is disgusting.

Negative experience: I would never Recommend this location per it took 6 months before we could find ally get a driving lesson in. Why accept and do classes for so many students when they can handle what they promise. Not only that, they were rude when the person scheding us put in the wrong date. Of course, I should have caught that as well, but I should not have to pay$50 when it would have been 24 hour notice if they scheduled it correctly. We are not happy and found this be general consensus. Look elsewhere..Don't waste your $$$ and time here @John's Creek location.

Negative experience: Impossible to schedule drives during non school hours. You have to be on schedule site precisely at 4pm on Tuesdays and usually it crashes. My daughter finished the class on early January and I have yet to be able to schedule a drive. I have called twice for help and they basically just admit they have issues. I thought this would be convenient as the administer the driving test. It is inconvenient and an unnecessary hassle. Would not recommend.
Fantastic experience: Thanks Drive Smart we had a great experience! My son passed his road test today. We were there during the summer when they were short of drivers but I felt like they were very apologetic and Michelle always called as soon as the schedule was out to give us first choice because we had been waiting. If I called and left a message, I always got a return call. Thank you James, my sons driving lesson instructor who was kind and patient. My son was nervous about driving and James found a way to ease that with every lesson. I am so happy I found Drive Smart and would do it again!

Negative experience: Completely unsatisfied with this company. Thought I was ahead of the game to get my daughter enrolled last summer. She took the classroom portion but I could never get her scheduled for driving instruction. They do not have enough drivers and the availability is ridiculous. They never gave us priority given she is suppose to get her license next month. I had to ask for a refund but now still waiting for her classroom certificate. No one rarely answers the phone at Johns Creek. So disappointed..... :(

Negative experience: I would not recommend. It is incredibly challenging to get road time driving sessions. My child is months past her 16th birthday, and has only been able to schedule one driving session so far. Very inconvenient and frustrating.

Our records show that we actually spoke with you earlier this morning about your student's lesson and how you wanted them done since he is not eligible to test until 07/2020. As agreed, we have you on our list to get you a drive in December, March and June. If for some reason the agreed upon timeline no longer works for you, please let us know and we will be happy to assist you in coming up with another plan.
Negative experience: Classes seemed to be fine, no complaints there. I share the same frustrations about scheduling driving lessons. We've been trying for weeks to set up lessons. I've been told they booked 40 lessons for one week (by the rude lady at the front everyone speaks of) but it looks like most of them are in the mornings on weekdays. I have one scheduled and logged on to the system at exactly 4:00 on Tuesday (which is THE time we have log in to schedule or you are out of luck) and when I tried to schedule drives they were either unavailable (even though they are listed) or I got an error that I couldn't schedule a drive within 10 days of another lesson. What??? By 4:04 there are no sessions after 2:00 left. To be fair I have complained and they have called trying to schedule lessons but again, they are at not ideal times. I literally am taking my daughter out of school to have her first lesson. Not ideal to say the least.

Unfortunately we either got your voicemail or the student is not available. As for the 10 day rule, that information can be found in the confirmation email sent to you upon purchase.

The great instructors at Drive Smart Georgia have helped my teens get comfortable behind the wheel, learn the rules of safe driving, and how to eliminate distractions while negotiating the roads. The staff kept us up to date with the kid's learning experiences as they learned to drive safely. I would strongly recommend.

Negative experience: Horrible service. My son took the class, which seemed to go fine. We were able to get 2 drives scheduled. We scheduled a 3rd drive, and the driver did not show. We have been unable to get a 3rd drive scheduled due to their weak scheduling system. We are unable to schedule my son's driving test, which we paid for through Drive Smart, because we are unable to schedule the 3rd session. (Their policy is that the child has to have the 3rd drive before they can schedule the test) I have never written a bad review about anything. But, we are extremely disappointed, and would like to save another family from the headache and disappointment.

Negative experience: JCHS PARENTS AVOID THIS PLACE PLEASE JOHNS CREEK DRIVE SMART STOP accepting new customers and service the ones you have! The female who answers the phone, Michele, is just rude. This is the 4th time I have spoken to her in 6 weeks and if my son had not already taken the classroom portions I would switch schools. Parents at JCHS are now talking about how to avoid this school. I realize you had a huge hiccup this summer with staff quitting, moving, medical issues, etc. We have all read the emails and posts, but this was AFTER we signed up. If you are that far behind quit taking new kids and service the ones you have! For 3 weeks I have tried to schedule my son's classes and every Tuesday classes come up at and are gone in 2 minutes. Today I was shut out, AGAIN, as I selected they were gone. We are stuck with you until the end now - Please have someone call me since Michele just puts you on hold for 15-20 minutes at a time and NEVER comes back on the line. Just awful. EDIT IN RESPONSE TO YOUR REPLY Calls have NOT been returned- In fact they are not returned at all. I have left COUNTLESS messages for you. Why have you as the Manager not called to follow up? I even stopped by the office the day after I wrote this and before your reply and still no call or follow-up from you. i was told Natalia would call but I have not heard from her. I was told by Michele in person yesterday that the Manager has resigned their position and is now a road instructor to help with the backlog. As for the permit copy, you have 3 copies of it. The first copy was emailed when I returned the first contract. The second copy was emailed with the second contract. The same copy was again submitted in person in August when the classroom hours were completed. I will stop by tomorrow with another copy and record dropping it off since there seems to be issues with you losing it. Further, how could the account have been verified to take driving lessons without it?
Drive Smart Georgia is so very sorry for your frustration. Although we are still selling our Drivers Ed packages, new students cannot take driving lessons until November 1st so that we can service our existing customers in the pipeline. The DDS finally approved two new instructors who are on the road now providing extra driving lessons to our existing students. We looked into our call log and database and it shows that all calls were answered immediately or returned within less than 24 hours. During one call we discussed the Road Test, and in car lessons scheduling. We added you to our cancellation list and also notified you that we still needed a copy of the permit. The same information was emailed to you on 06/27. We also let you know that your student was going to be taking home a piece of paper with further instructions on setting up your account to provide extra assistance in booking your lessons which include, turning on late cancellation notices (which have not been done) and also adding the driving school as a secondary home address to open up more sessions (which has also not been done). If you need help doing these, please call our office and we can walk you through these steps. Your student completed class on 08/24. Rest assured that you on our list of of priority students who can get their license in the next 3 months. Again, we are very sorry about your experience.
Negative experience: I went in an the older lady behind the counter was beyond reproach. Her customer service skills can use some fine tuning. I'm a former retail person with twenty three years of management and I have an understanding of how one's tone and approach should be towards customers. She answered my questions however it was if I was a bother to her!!!
Negative experience: It is nearly impossible to schedule driving lessons with this company. They have emailed an apology for their staffing issues and shortage of driving instructors but when you contact the Johns Creek office they are unhelpful and rude. I had the same experience as another reviewer where the lady at Johns Creek location had the audacity to blame me. She claimed the reason we have had difficulty is because I didn't add their address as a pickup/drop off location. At no time were we ever told to do this. I was told we would be put on an email list for last minute cancellations. I teach and don't have access to my phone for a large part of the day and my son can't check his phone constantly during school. The Co-Founder/CEO of Drive Smart Georgia, Kirk Bressette, taught one session of my son's in class instruction. He spent part of the time bragging about his sports cars, how much money he has and his "showroom" of cars. Not professional.
Negative experience: Worst experience I have ever had with a business. I have not been able to schedule drives for my son after multiple attempts and multiple emails/phone calls to the office. You have to log in at 4pm on Tuesdays to even attempt to get a drive; usually they fill within 5 minutes and if you try to click on one, the computer freezes up since everybody else is trying to do the same thing! The lady at Johns Creek location had the audacity to blame this on me- said the reason is because I didn't add their address as a pickup/drop off location. I did that this last time and didn't make a lick of difference. The owner sent out some apologetic email about not enough drivers; this goes way beyond that...and obviously reading the other reviews I am not the only one having this experience! My younger children will not use Drive Smart. What a waste of time and money!

Our records show that your student’s first lesson has already been completed and his second lesson is already scheduled, meaning you only need one lesson before the October test date. Negative experience: We have been trying for 3 months to book driving instructor lessons, and none have been available. We were told we needed a call on Tuesday at 4 o’clock, as new lessons are released at that time. We have done that over and over all summer long, and have still been unsuccessful. There aren’t enough drivers and lessons to accommodate all of the students that have paid their money for the course. This business is run terribly, the staff at Johns Creek location has been extremely rude and condescending, and I would never recommend DriveSmart to anyone.

Negative experience: The customer service is horrible at the Johns Creek location. This review is in regards to your rude front desk staff at the Johns Creek location. The tone of the young lady that answers the phone is extremely rude and unprofessional. This isn’t the first time I’ve called this location and got the same person that is apparently aggravated every time she answers the phone. Drive Smart is a service to others so when someone calls they expect to have a pleasant experience. I completely understand if there are no drives available for the students. What I don’t understand is why her tone is nasty and sarcastic. Also praying that my daughter gets to take her test before the year is out even though her birthday is September. It’s nearly impossible to get the drive hours needed.

Positive experience: Update sept 2019: saw lot of improvement . Was able to schedule driving lessons and road test all in one month time. Thanks to the drivesmart mgmt for improving ----- Wish the business was honest in telling durning registration that they are having scheduling problems with in car driving lessons. They make us attend the week long class and then u are stuck waiting for lessons U don't get fair return amount and when questioned, are pointed to a terms and contract. Why advertise and mislead students? Be honest upfront. .

Negative experience: After paying over $400, we're finding it impossible to finish the course and take the test, because while the classroom lessons are fine, the actual driving lessons are IMPOSSIBLE to schedule. It's harder than winning a radio contest by being the 100th caller. By the time you can get on the website (which is overloaded) the one day and time per week you can schedule them, the lessons are all filled up. My daughter ends up in tears every Tuesday when she finally gets through and they're all filled up. I feel like we wasted our money and this will NEVER be over. Her friend used a different driving school and never once had a problem with her lessons.

Negative experience: Absolutely the worst experience I have ever had with any business. I signed up for driving lessons. First, it took them forever to confirm my account. Second, once my account got confirmed, it was extremely difficult to schedule lessons. The software that they use to schedule never showed any lessons available no matter what time, day, filters, or device I logged on to. I talked to a friend that had taken lessons with them as well and he said he had the same issue. I called three times one day (morning, and twice in the afternoon) and nobody answered or returned my call until the next day. They essentially said that I tried to sign up for lessons too late when all the lesson times were already taken even though I logged on to the scheduling software when the it says new availability is added. The next week, I wanted to sign up for a lesson. I logged on at exactly 4 pm when it says new availability is added, and nothing showed up. I called five times throughout the hour and nobody picked up or returned my phone call! I don't understand how this company cannot get their software that they use to work and also never seem to be able to return or answer phone calls! It's honestly the biggest mess I've ever seen and this process took entirely too much effort to do.

Positive experience: It was alright, but the first few days, the instructor didn't teach at all, instead we just watched videos and presentations. It was until the last day, a competent teacher was there to give us an actual learning experience. Also there is a huge lack of available time to do in car lessons.

Positive experience: I took just the driving lessons with drive smart. The instructor you choose is VERY IMPORTANT. For my first two sessions, I had Ms. Helena Claybrooks, who was a decent instructor, but had horrible patience, would yell at me, and slam things when she got mad. DON'T CHOOSE HER, unless you are decently experienced on the road. For my third and last session, I had Mr. Russel Tarpley who gave great advice, instruction, while being calm and collected. He was also very nice, and I enjoyed driving with him. Would highly recommend him :)

Negative experience: It’s been 2 weeks since my daughter finished the drivers ed classes, and she still has yet to take her first drivers lessons. I belive its unfair how it would almost be a month, and not being able to gain her license before college begins. They need more driver instructors.

Fantastic experience: I just want to give a huge shout out to Mr. Kirk Bressette for the absolutely amazing experience I had in Driver’s Ed with Drive Smart Georgia. Kirk was my driver’s ed teacher, instructor for a driving lesson, and the one who tested me for my road test. After meeting him as a teacher, I already really liked him. He made the class so much fun and even brought us donuts the first day! Also what I really loved about him was even though he did not have any sessions on the Drive Scout website. I reached out to him on Facebook asking if he would do a driving session with me. I was not expecting a reply saying he was willing to schedule a session with me. The session was definitely the best out of all the ones I had. He made it completely stress-free and had me extra prepared for my road test. Then comes the road test, probably the easiest test I’ve ever had to do. There’s absolutely nothing to stress about and I even got a 100 on the test. It’s been a month since I’ve got my Class D license but I still remember the great time I had with Kirk and Drive Smart. Thank you Drive Smart and thank you Mr. Bressette for making my Driver’s Ed experience so enjoyable. Kudos to you Kirk! ;)
Fantastic experience: Excellent driving school! Both of my children went to their week long driver's education class, did 6 hours of behind the wheel training, and took their driving test at the Johns Creek location. Every instructor was great. Taking the test there was so much less stressful than taking it at Driver's Services. Worth every penny - I highly recommend them!
Fantastic experience: I was nothing but thoroughly impressed with the Drive Smart program. My son completed the DriveSmart program which included classroom and actual driving with instructors. All three of his instructors were wonderful, very informative, and took time explaining the rules of the road. We also took our driving test with a Drive Smart instructor who ensured my son was ready for their license. Overall, a very positive experience! I highly recommend this organization and plan to utilize Drive Smart for my upcoming second driver!
Positive experience: This whole process would work better if the rules/system didn't seem so arbitrary. Here's the backstory: so on one day I attempt to schedule a series of driving lessons on the DS app and it makes me wait 4 days between sessions; okay, I wish there was some leniency considering the fact that I am scheduling for an 18 year old, but I can play along. Then, after my daughter's 5 week trip out of town I went into the DS app again and tried to schedule her last few driving sessions BUT the system tells me that I have to wait 10 days between sessions. This isn't the first time that the driving school has presented conflicting information (teacher says one thing; phone lady says another, driving teacher says totally different thing...Drive Scout app has a mind of its own...) Lovely. And of course it was 4 minutes after closing time, so I have to wait until Monday for a call back...surely resulting in all of the available spots being gone. We need to get this driving thing rolling, but this whole experience has turned it into nothing more than a mucky puddle of yuck. And, speaking of talking to them, yikes...I don't relish that idea at all. My previous conversations with them have been with a rude person (if you're old enough you'll understand the term 'battle axe')...ALWAYS. In fact, I can still feel the sting from the last 2 times I had to call there. I don't see how a curt and anti-customer-service oriented response or tone can build a strong presence in the community...yuck (I feel like the unworthy scalawag who is interrupting her highness' afternoon tea). Maybe that's the new way of doing business here, who knows. My first experience with them was regarding a coupon ‘mishap’....I received it in the mail and tried to use it, but it didn't work. When I called (reference comment about battle axe) I was advised that it wasn't supposed to be valid for a few days and essentially 'too bad for you lady' (or 'back to the gutters, you scalawag'). When I asked for someone higher up I was greeted (very kindly, mind you) by a manager (sorry, can't remember her name or title...manager, owner maybe?) She rocked. Apparently the printing company sent it out early & it didn't have any sort of 'start' date. She honored the coupon; of course, because that is a customer service oriented action (I was happy). That was the only positive experience I have had. I can't be the only person that has felt this way. What ultimately is important is the following. My daughter: loved class, loved the instructor(s), and has had wonderful driving teachers (I loved them too)...which is what one might expect for a $700 driving course (I went free courtesy of my school district). The marring blemish for me has been trying to navigate anything out of the ordinary...like scheduling a class online or (heavens hopefully no…) having to call and speak to someone. I am sorry to say that I should be able to step beyond this whole situation, but I don't seem to be able to....probably because I still have to call and schedule her driving test. I wonder if I will get a different response if I put on a proper British accent (just spent a month with a visiting Brit...I got this) or if I name drop local celebrities, powerful elite, or something? I am probably just digging a grave here with this ranting commentary…oh lawdy, somebody stop me now. Point is: my kid is happy, so 2 stars are for her ...wait, I'm adding another for the lady who fixed my coupon...so 3 stars are for those experiences...but 2 are GONE because I am so frustrated with this whole situation. Honestly, if the whole place had gone to h@@@ in a hand basket, but they were masters of customer service (a little fluff here, a little perk there, just be NICE) I would sing praises. My issue isn't that there are problems; it’s the way they have been handled....or, the way the nasty tempestuous attitude seeps through the phone….thus far. We'll see what happens next. I am certainly willing to upgrade (or downgrade) my rating @ this juncture because life is a fluid experience.

Negative experience: Had to follow behind student driver for 5 painful miles while instructor was in the car. Instructor failed to direct the student to speed up while they were driving 15 miles per hour under the speed limit. The instructor also failed to teach the student proper right of way, directly causing major backups and unsafe situations on a highway. Would never use this school to teach a new driver.
Dear Chris, Thank you for reporting this situation. We are aware of it and have spoken to our instructor. The student was a brand new driver and spoke very little English. We always err on the side of caution to protect our students and other drivers. Georgia law states, "No person shall drive a motor vehicle at such a slow speed as to impede the normal and reasonable movement of traffic, except when reduced speed is necessary for safe operation.” Our highly trained instructor felt that the reduced speed of this particular driver was warranted. We truly regret that you were inconvenienced.
Fantastic experience: Jeff Franklin was the instructor, did parallel parking, emergency procedures, and filling gas tank among many other things. Top notch experience, would recommend to anyone.

Fantastic experience: I went to A1 driving to take the 30 hour class, it was so boring. I fell asleep in class and ended up failing the class. The teacher would talk about the chapter, and then watch a 30 minute video, and take a quiz, and then had a 20 minute break. We kept doing this routine. I would say that we watched up to 21 videos. Then went to Johns Creek driving school, and had Jeff as a teacher. He was so funny, and if we weren't paying attention, he would ask a funny question like, "if I was wearing a red shirt, and the traffic light was green, Do I stop?" We would act out what to do in an emergency. He also drew on a board to make us understand more instead of just talking about what to do. He was upbeat, and was a great teacher. If I could do it all over again, A1 might be 100$ less, but Johns Creek Driving School is so worth it. You will actually have more fun and pass the first time.

Fantastic experience: Overall we were very glad with Johns Creek Driving School. Our daughter, who had only been driving for a month, has learned so much. Her instructor was Mr. Huey. He was a very good instructor according to our daughter.
