Gregory's Driving School

Negative experience: They will steal from English speakers and force you to take unnecessary classes because they do not speak the language well. I also took three unnecessary classes, but I will still give them all a rating. 1. Driving test class, i have been driving for eight years, but this three-day driving test was awful for beginners because it took you to freeways and intersections, which are very dangerous for new drivers because there are a lot of trailers and the teacher who was supposed to teach you will not point out your mistakes $180 for that class; if the cost is higher or lower, it indicates that they do not have a fixed price. 2. Driver's license exam class was $50 Everything will be documented by the instructor, who will also provide you with directions. However, you must be fully aware of what to do or the instructor will mark your mistakes. How can you tell if you are doing something wrong? though, when the driving test teacher will not point out your errors? However, do not worry about it; the instructor will ask you to drive around the block several times before you are finished. 3. Certificate class $30 When you watch videos, the female owner will tell you several stories, but she will not repeat them to you in English, and when she does, it is difficult to understand. However, if you did not pay attention in class, you will not have to worry about it because the owner or the students will provide you with the answers to the 20 questions. Anyway, the female owner refused to give me a refund for the unnecessary classes I had taken and gave me a long list of reasons why I have taken them. This woman is unprofessional and will yell at you if you disagree, but I told her that she needed the money more than I did.

Negative experience: You shouldn’t have your students drive in the highway on the fast lane that lane people are goin 75 and your student is goin 50 miles y’all can cause a crashed specially that 18 wheelers are goin with the speed limit educated your teachers and tell them to go in the right lane not the left lane

Fantastic experience: I want to give my instructor Mr. Ortiz the 5 stars. He was super patient and kind with me thought me everything I needed to know and more. Thanks to him I was able to pass my driving test with a high score and get my license! If you’re registering for driving clases make sure you book with Mr. Ortiz!!!

Fantastic experience: Amazing motorcycle classes. Mr. Guerra was more than helpful with instructions from the most basic part to the end. If you have never been on a motorcycle definitely the place to go.

Fantastic experience: I wanted to get my motorcycle license and reached out to Gregory, went through the online course and then the practical course with Mr. Guerra. Him and his assistant Mrs. Guerra gave us the best class you can find anywhere. They were patient, respectful and fun. I did not know who to operate a motorcycle and now I can say, I did it and I feel safe. Gracias Gregory and specially to the Guerras, your son’s legacy is saving lives.

Negative experience: Our car broke down coming off the highway during a hot summer day , the instructor knew the car wasn’t working and was putting hose water under the hood to make the AC cooler. There was no other car available that day too.

Fantastic experience: If you never rode a motorcycle, this place is amazing! I had never ridden a motorcycle before, and their course was really easy to follow, Mr and Mrs Guerra were excellent coaches as well! Both of them had an awesome attitude and had everyone laughing and having a great time while out on the course. Overall, it was an 11/10 Experience and something I really enjoyed doing. Thanks again to Mr and Mrs Guerra! Both are great instructors, and if you have any luck and they are your instructors then you'll have a blast.

Negative experience: Tengan cuidado con esta escuela, en junio 8, 2023 como a las 6:20p.m. atrás del Laredo Medical Center un carro color naranja de esta escuela estuvo a un segundo de estrellarse en nuestra camioneta porque se paso la señal de semáforo en rojo y no es culpa del estudiante sino del instructor que no se que estaba haciendo en el carro. Me bloquearon de face por comentarles lo que paso en lugar de buscar mejorar a sus instructores, revisen todos los comentarios antes de contratar con esta gente que solo está por el dinero que cobran sin importarles la seguridad de sus alumnos.

Fantastic experience: Agradesco al entrenador y su accistente muy buenas personas el Sr Juan y Maria Guerra gracias por toda la preoccupation que se toman para sacar toda sus enceñansas y tranmitirlas a cada uno de los que tomamos el entrenamiento . Gracias 100% recomendado

Negative experience: I've called before and plenty of help and recommendations but I just called today about the classes cuz I was ready to buy the package for the classes And as I was telling the lady at the front desk she starts lecturing me about not being in school and going out to "party" Wouldn't listen to me about anything and was straight up rude. I would not recommend for classes here:/

Positive experience: Mr. Juan and his assistant were great during the course of motercycle class. They were patient, understanding, and were quick to make sure we were safety. That was a big topic we kept on discussing was safety. When I made a few mistakes they stopped me begin to teach me what I did wrong and how to fix it. I truly appreciate there time and lessons. It was great !!!!

Negative experience: Receptionist was standoffish. The driving instructor made me wait over 2 hrs to take my driving exam after saying he would only take 30 mins.

Negative experience: Worst experience ever !!!!! The Old man ,who takes you for a drive is very grumpy he’s so old he shouldn’t even be driving , Worst fear is having someone like that test you , I scheduled a driving test at 8 am and the receptionist said she was going to wake him up im like what??? Make me wait an hour , When he arrived he had an angry attitude, took me for a road test, he explained what I needed to do like yelling like if I couldn’t hear ( like old man do yourself a favor and retire!) as I was told before , this school had BAD reputation from mistreating people ,over charging, miscommunication and professionalism , but I went ahead and trusted the “ good reviews on Facebook , I went back and read the reviews noticed they are from 7 yrs ago ” anyways … days later I went to the DMV and got my DL super quick , soo if you hear recommendations like me Do yourself a favor and don't go to Gregory’s. It’s not the same as the school used to be they keep your money! School is not like when first opened, Instead go to DPS ,and its free.

Negative experience: This is not how this school used to be. I was told over the phone that there would only be a $122 fee for the main class and other fees for the actual driving courses. Fine, I get it. However, I got there with my daughter who is taking the ADULT driving class and NONE of the extra info or fees were explained to us. Also there’s no organization, the place is WAY too small for so many people. One would think that since this driving school has been around for so long, it’s the building would offer more space-ESPECIALLY the so-called “front desk.” Not only that, the students are there for 6 hours with 2 15 minute breaks. Yes there are vending machines and a water dispenser BUT the machines didn’t seem to be working, so my daughter, who woke up early this morning, without breakfast, having to rush to get to this school, who suffers from BAD anxiety and is really sensitive, will, I know, vent her grievances to me about this place. I will NEVER use Gregory’s again in the future if they don’t get their act together and shape up the attitude

Negative experience: Disclaimer : This is from my opinion and my experience from a couple of years back. Staff is disorganized and the lady in the front desk seemed to be lost half of the time and always giggling . When I was scheduled to drive for a Tuesday they said I was rescheduled for a Thursday and when I arrive it turns out I was scheduled to drive in Tuesday. Oh and they don’t care they will still charge you a 20$ fee and if you are even a minute late the same thing. When I was driving the instructor had the nerve to yell at me , If I did wrong I understand but no reason to speak to me like that. I don’t recommend this place your better off going to another driving school.

Negative experience: After taking my son there to take a driving course there was confusion from the very beginning not sending the homework online waiting over a week for work lack of communication and scheduling. Don't waste your time with these people they're very disorganized once my son was finished with a course I was shocked to find out that he had very poor driving skills apparently he was not taught properly. My son had just turned 18 so they sign them up for a teen course instead of an adult course causing him to have to wait 2 months to take his driving test because we were forced to do the documentation and schedule an appointment. After waiting 30 days i took my son for the driving test and they didnt even remember us. The were trying to register us again after all the mess they put me and my son through. Horrible experience

Negative experience: I know 7 people who have graduated from this driving school and they all are reckless drivers. I don't know what is taught at this school but laws are not. Horrible!
