Our comment from DrivingSchools.Directory about Tri-City Tag Agency:
Tri-City Tag Agency is a tag agency located in Oklahoma that offers a variety of services including vehicle registration, title transfers, and more. Many customers appreciate the friendly and helpful staff who are known for providing efficient service with minimal wait times. Visitors often mention that the agency is worth the extra distance, even when there are closer options available.
Positive experiences highlight the quick service and the willingness of staff to go the extra mile for customers. For example, one customer noted how staff took extra time to help with paperwork and were patient during the process. This commitment to customer care can be seen in multiple reviews praising the agency's helpfulness.
However, there have been some recurring complaints regarding customer service experiences. Some users reported encountering rude and unprofessional behavior from specific staff members, which has overshadowed their overall experience. Issues were also raised about long wait times despite the agency being open and available, with several customers feeling dismissed or not adequately assisted during their visits.
Overall, while Tri-City Tag Agency has a solid reputation for excellent service and a friendly atmosphere, it is clear that attention to consistent customer care and better communication could improve the experience for all visitors.
Tri-City Tag Agency: Reviews
Positive experience: Zack is a unpleasant person to deal with. I've never had issues with this tag agency before today.
Fantastic experience: Every time I come here I am always happier as the team is friendly and efficient and it shows in the great humor of others visiting the location as well. Always worth the extra few miles to come here over any place closer.
Positive experience: Tribal tags are given based on the factors in my photo attached in this review. Provided by Service OK website from the State of Oklahoma. This Location wanted information not required to obtain a Tribal Tag. A Tribal Card is not sufficient enough for them.
Negative experience: Closed every time I try to tag my vehicle. I won’t go back to the tri city tag office.
Negative experience: The person working was very rude and terse. She tried to tell me that I could not put my spouses name on a title if she was not present! She is 100 percent incorrect because I have done this many times in the past without her being present. This lady was extremely rude to the people that were in line in front of us and the very same way to us. I will never go back to this establishment ever again. I will take my business to the Tuttle tag agency in Tuttle on Main street!
Fantastic experience: Amazing! Staff are so nice and helpful. The one I previously went to gave us so much trouble and were rude to us. This one however had nice staff and were also quick with their work. Definitely recommend going here instead of the ones in Moore.
Fantastic experience: Best Tag Agency in the State of Oklahoma!
Negative experience: Very unprofessional. She told us "bye" in the middle of a sentence, very condescending. Its obvious she doesn't really care. If you can help it, go to the one in Edmond or Tuttle.
Negative experience: Can't get a Real ID here. I have showed up twice at 4 and waited over 30 mins in the lobby only to be told they do not issue New IDs after 4:30. I cannot get an appointment made. So I clearly need to find a new tag office. Wait times are 20m+. Only even 2 employees present when I attempted to get my New ID
Fantastic experience: I called up to this tag agency for some information on registering an old truck we bought from a friend and I spoke to Charity. She was incredibly helpful giving me the information we needed. She was very kind and explained everything well to me. She also asked me questions to ensure she was giving me all of the proper information. This location obviously cares about the customer experience and wants to take the time to ensure all expectations are met prior to my arrival. Great work!!
Positive experience: friendly staff. quick service with no wait time!
Positive experience: They said that national general, a part of Allstate, was not a very well known car insurance company. What are y’all’s thoughts ♂️
Negative experience: I have never had a business have different answers for the same question so many times. They are the least helpful people in any establishment that I have encountered. They are very vague on information regarding what you will need for your services to be done and have caused me to drive up there on three different occasions to still not get anything done. They are absolutely no help over the phone and show even less care in person. They do not stick to the times posted or said by staff. Epitome of, 'gotta catch them at a good time.'
Fantastic experience: The ladies are great here. I was in and out of the office within 15 minutes. Real ID.
Negative experience: Worst tag agency in the area I get the run around every time I try to go there but I wanted something close by I even called ahead and I still got the run around again Luckily I was able to go to Newcastle tag agency and they took care of it right awat
Negative experience: Possibly the worst tag agency I have been too. Older lady in the front with blonde hair obviously hates her job and never wants to help. All I needed to do was renew my tag but since I didn’t have my physical card it couldn’t be done. Mind you I have a Digital card on my phone. I have a problem every time I go in that office. I will go to Tuttle after work.
Negative experience: I never understood all of the DMV jokes and references until I tried Tri-city Tag agency. There I found 2 of the most frumpy women I've ever met, and all clicked. All the jokes. All the memes. It's this place everyone was referencing. Also, they tried to rip me off so I'd double check your stuff BEFORE you pay them! Otherwise you have to go through OTC to get your money back like I had to.
Fantastic experience: Really helpful and efficient. Great service.
Negative experience: I have gone here for years. Never again. I recently lost my dad. Needed some help with an estate and locating property. Even with court order these ladies would not even look at my paper work to help. Customer service is non existent at this location. Would not even look at the paper work. My mind was blown. Went to a different location with the same paperwork and they provided me with what I needed with in minutes.
Negative experience: Rude!!! Younger girl is fine, but the other lady is a bitty. Also, doesn’t know what she is doing. She refused to help me with my problem and gave me plenty of attitude to suit. Got my situation resolved with Fuson in less than 5 minutes. I WILL NEVER STEP FOOT IN THE TRI-CITY TAG OFFICE AGAIN!!! She has had too many chances! This is the final straw!!
Negative experience: Not willing to help. Turned away because “she doesn’t want to”. Returned several times. “The system is down”. Excuses.
Negative experience: Very rude staff and terrible customer service. The front desk representative seems disgusted that you would visit their store, and it shows. Also, they do not take appointments.
Negative experience: Rude, Grumpy old ladies that need to retire! Very impatient and unprofessional! Highly recommend finding a different tag agency.
Negative experience: Women that work there are rude!
Fantastic experience: These ladies are so polite and thoughtful. Any time I drive over here it is a good experience!
Positive experience: I had been having a hard time finding a tag agency where I can just walk in and renew my real ID and not worry about making an appt, I called this one, they said they do walk ins from 8-345p for anything related to Real ID. The next day I did get there around 7:30a in case there was a line (there was not), I was the first person inside at 8am, the woman behind the counter did tell me they do not do real IDs until 9am, which was frustrating considering this is no sign saying this and who I spoke to on the phone had misinformed me, regardless I did ask to wait until 9am inside since my work was too far for me to drive and then turn around to come back + it was pouring rain outside, the employee did assist 2 other guests that came in. After they left, she told me she would go ahead and do my ID for me and it was only 815a, which I thought was very kind because I know she probably did not want to do that before their set hours for the IDs. It was easy to renew and she was friendly during this process. Thank you!
Negative experience: If I could rate 0 I would. Everytime I’ve been in the lady has been the RUDEST person I’ve met. They are open until 5:30 but when my husband went in to renew his license she was hateful and told him he would have to come back because she stops at 3:45. Why are you open then? And you should put that out there. He told her really I drove all the way from work and left early because y’all were open until 5:30. She said yeah just come back. DO NOT RECOMMEND. she is so hateful and rude for no reason.
Fantastic experience: Excellent service. Extremely nice and helpful. I would recommend this agency to anyone.
Negative experience: The lady that works there goes out of her way to be unbelievably rude. I’ve been in there several times and every time she has the same attitude, so it’s not like she’s just having a bad day. I don’t understand why she doesn’t just quit and take a work from home job. You should have to have some ounce of kindness to work with the public. Just know that anyone who has to go in there and interact with you, you have made their day far worse.. if that’s your intent. Never going back.
Fantastic experience: Have always had a pleasant visit, ladies are super nice.
Negative experience: NEGATIVE FEEDBACK HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE quite possibly the rudest people I’ve met. No explanation of fees and if you ask for clarification you get a attitude.
Fantastic experience: Tri City Tag Office was the best experience I've ever had renewing my license. I'm switching to the Real idea and called last week for an appointment. They got me in the very next week, told me what I needed to bring, and everything went real smooth. The ladies were polite, courteous and quite knowledgeable about their business, be it questions about DLs, tags, or change of titles.
Fantastic experience: I live in Tuttle but we had so much better service at Tri- City tag agency. We only go there now. There is a very nice lady at the Tuttle tag agency. But best customer service is Tri-city tag agency
Negative experience: I just drive to Greenway in OKC. It's not that far and they are far better people, and don't add "Extra" charges that this place does. I saved around $50 last time I got a new car by going elsewhere for my Tags and Taxes.
Negative experience: The people in there need to go back to working fast food because that's the mentality and attitude they have!!!!
Fantastic experience: I was very concerned when I came in ,due to reading the reviews. The ladies were nothing but nice, The lady doing the Real IDs was very patient, especially since she had trouble getting my finger prints. I would recommend, Only thing is bring cash or check for ID services.
Fantastic experience: Received very friendly service!
Negative experience: Very rude.
Positive experience: Helpful eventually. Didn’t seem to start off friendly. She seemed to be annoyed I needed them. Turned out better as we went on
Fantastic experience: Friendly staffs and speedy service.
Negative experience: Rude and sullen. It was almost like I ruined their day being in there. They rejected a form I had that I knew was valid and I had to call to get someone from OTC to call them and tell them they were wrong. I read straight out of the OTC guidance to them but I was wrong to them no matter what. They contacted someone who told them they were right and took it at that and rejected me. Did they try to remedy the situation, no way, I had to call OTC and get it worked myself? Even the lady, Julia at OTC, asked why they don't just read the State guidance, btw Julia was awesome. My wife informed me how rude they were to her in the past and I didn't listen, well, I guess now they have lost two customers.
Negative experience: Cannot call to ask a simple question so now it’s drive up there when gas is over 5.00 a gallon. I won’t ever return here after this experience. I’ll drive out of my way to go elsewhere. Reporting to the BBB.
Fantastic experience: Absolutely the best people, that work there!! Goes out of there way to help other people the best way possible.
Negative experience: The absolute rudest people I have ever dealt with at a tag agency. Extremely dismissive. Lazy. Slow. Cannot be bothered to help. If I could give negative stars, I would. Avoid at all costs!!
Fantastic experience: great location
Fantastic experience: Excellent service. Highly recommend
Negative experience: Would give negative stars if I could. The lady at the front desk is rude, rude, rude! Don't waste your time here. Drive out to Tuttle or go into South Oklahoma City. We will not be returning!
Fantastic experience: Fast n friendly
Fantastic experience: Great service and quick too! very knowledgeable.
Negative experience: This was the worst experience. The lady at the front desk had the worst Attitude and was no help what so ever. To anyone needing a tag agency it would be worth it if you drove the extra couple of miles to a different one.
Negative experience: I wish I would have read some of the reviews on this place prior to coming here. I will forewarn anybody to take their business elsewhere. The lady that was helping was really nice but the dictator they have over there chimed in and started drilling me for not having cash on hand and started to criticize me for not having cash or check. I mean c'mon we are in the 21st century who in the world carries checks anymore? I was still respectable and asked to reschedule but that was mistake she started drilling me again NO NO! WE ARE BOOKED OUT! It was very obvious she was lazy and didn't want to walk 3 feet to her desk all I could say was ok. Thinking to myself that I would not stooped down to this lady's negativity. If they would have told me to bring cash in the first place prior to my appointment I would have but I was only told to bring my forms of ID. They acted like I was suppose to know to bring cash. Sorry I'm not a mind reader. That lady needs to retire or go get another job elsewhere hopefully she's not the owner of that place I seriously don't know how this place is in business.
Negative experience: One lady not helpful at all, very rude, would answer her cell phone when I was trying to ask questions, could tell she just didn’t want to be there.
Fantastic experience: Friendly and knows their job
Negative experience: terrible customer service. could find better labor off Robinson St. lady gave off a vibe that she did not want to be there and if Megan answers your call you're better off calling a different place.
Fantastic experience: Love this tag agency and won’t go anywhere else. Everyone is so friendly and helpful. Becky has helped me with several challenging situations and is so easy to work with.
Negative experience: If I could give zero stars I would. Very rude called at 8 am when they opened just to be told call back at 10 am to schedule for license. 41 times from 10:01 til 10:57 am when they answered just to be told they are booked the rest of the week call back next Thursday.. like what I got a busy dial tone the whole time from 3 separate phones. I'm sure no one got through but all of a sudden your booked. That lady named Becky who answers the phone garbage rude and lack of customer service. I would fire that one.
Negative experience: If I could give this tag agency no stars I would. The worst service in the entire United States. I would not recommend even stepping foot into this place unless you enjoy having high blood pressure. I would recommend the manager/owner fire everyone their and higher people who actually know how to deal with people.
Positive experience: They have a mask requirement to enter BUT they let a young woman customer enter without a mask and didnt say anything to he All other customers who entered respected protecting others inside except this one young woman...I think they should have not let her enter. I am an old woman and more susceptible especially now that new strains are spreading. Enforce the rules for every one!!
Negative experience: Very disappointed in the customer service I received today at this tag agency. I would definitely not waste your time and go to the one located on Main Street in Newcastle.
Negative experience: Rude.
Fantastic experience: Nice folks that worked hard took good care of me
Negative experience: I needed to get a vin check done for a commercial vehicle BUT the lady at the front desk says its to windy outside, and I'll have to come back later.. Lets just say I didn't come back and I went somewhere else that's willing to work..
Fantastic experience: Always going the extra mile to help me with all my documents. Great customer service
Fantastic experience: Fast and friendly service.
Fantastic experience: Much better than any OKC agency. Faster and friendlier.
Negative experience: I was unaware that I had to make an appointment to renew / get a new drivers license. I drive up during their open hours and get ready to walk in only to see a sign saying I must make an appointment and there was a closed sign with an empty lobby but 3 people inside working. I go back to my vehicle and decide I should just call. I dial their phone number and look out my car window to see all 3 employees look at the ringing phone, and complete my ignore it, it has now been an hour and I have called them over 20 times. You’d have better luck calling your ex or using a ouija board to summon a spirit then getting ahold of them to make an appointment.
Fantastic experience: Everyone was nice and helpful.
Fantastic experience: Have all your paperwork and people to do a title transfer
Negative experience: Rude staff, unpleasant experience every time I have to go inside, sign on the door that says “No Children”
Fantastic experience: There was no long line to wait in,thank goodness. Quick service, pleasant employees. What more could you ask for. Keep up the good work there ladies.
Fantastic experience: Nice people
Fantastic experience: I went on Saturday to get my car registration renewed. The 2 lady workers were very friendly and in good spirits. The lines wasn't long at all. Due to covid19 only 3 people can be inside at a time. Parking was plenty and there are chairs for you to side outside. Will come again.
Fantastic experience: Extremely nice and helpful staff.
Negative experience: Very rude and very short with me will never go back
Negative experience: The lady that runs this place is one of the rudest I've met. Shouldn't be in a service business without willing to provide customer service. I'll be using Newcastle Tag. Much nicer folks who are willing to be HELPFUL instead of RUDE.
Fantastic experience: Nice folks and convenient location. Low wait times are a plus!
Fantastic experience: Fast service..
Fantastic experience: I have been to this agency several times over the past year and I have NEVER been treated poorly! Great customer service, the ladies are very friendly (never rude or too busy). I get in and out within a reasonable time! Keep up the good work ladies!!
Negative experience: Not very friendly. Seemed annoyed I came in 7 minutes before closing, why stay open if you dont want to work the extra time?
Fantastic experience: Over the last 3 years I have been going to this tag agency many times. DL, notary, Titles, Voter registration, ID for my Mother-in-law. I could go on...because they offer an array of services that most Tag Agencies do not. But what's really important to me is the service, meaning... How I am treated. I have never once been in there when they weren't busy. And yet, they are always respectful, greet you with a smile and ask how your day is going, I haven seen them bend over backwards for people, making phone calls to clear up mistakes that were made by other entities. They treat people how they would want their families to be treated and themselves. As a Registered Nurse that is how I treat my patients. So this is is the #1 reason I keep going to the Tri-City Tag Agency. Love you guys.
Fantastic experience: I drive there from Oklahoma City. The people are friendly and very helpful. They explain in great detail how and why things are done the way the State says to do it. I really like the people. Great job!
Negative experience: jh
Fantastic experience: Always very nice and helpful the 10-12 times I've been here.
Negative experience: Customer service was terrible. Wouldn’t recommend!
Negative experience: I understand people have bad days, but this truly must be a horrible place to work for how rude everyone always is. I'd rather drive an hour out of my way to get some customer service.
Fantastic experience: I had a very positive experience. Received prompt and friendly service. I will definitely use them again.
Negative experience: Trust the reviews! They are some rude people!
Negative experience: Avoid this place at all cost.
Negative experience: Always rude no matter how nice you are. I'd rather spend the money on gas to go somewhere where people don't hate their jobs.
Negative experience: Always went here, despite the rude customer service... Until yesterday. I added the tanker endorsement to my Commercial Driver's *Permit.* The lady printed me a new *regular license* and punched a hole in my previous(but still good) license. When I said, "Why did you print me a new license?" She replied that it was because I failed my test. That made no sense. When I contested this, she said that my paperwork was wrong, so I read it. It was perfectly fine. She grabbed the new license she printed, wrote VOID in a magic marker, handed me the license that she punched a hole though and told me to go back to DPS because DPS screwed up. Again, I argued with her on what she did wrong. She literally just voided(via a hole through the DL symbol) a perfectly good license and expected me to walk out with it. She called her boss and I called DPS. Everytime I tried to correct, help or stop the lady from screwing up, she hushed me with her 2" inch long, bright pink fingernails. She ended up taking alcohol to my new license to get the magic marker "VOID" off of it. She, then, informed me that I had to go back to the DPS office in Chickasha to have my file rebuilt because she tried to print a *CDL* instead of a *permit* with my new endorsement. When I made it out to Chickasha, they asked, "Well why didn't she call the help desk? We could have done this over the phone and saved you the trip." Thanks, Tri-City!!! Always been rude and my family let it slide because of how close yall are and we only have to put up with it once a year for our tags. Never again.
Negative experience: The older lady in there was so rude, I was trying to get a title switched over but I just couldn't deal with how rude she was, definitely never going back here again
Fantastic experience: Always get drivers license here. Very helpful and has a cute boutique inside building
Fantastic experience: Great Customer Service, I have not been to a tag agency that has been so helpful.
Negative experience: Terrible customer service. I didn't chose your job. You did. Maybe you should go live off the government at least we wouldn't have to deal with you. Thanks but no thanks
Negative experience: I've done business several times here, always same, they act like you are getting a favor. I'm easy to please but a lil customer service isn't a bad thing. Last time was it. Tried to do a duplicate title on a family car, was told tag was out of date so no go. Tried to pay the tag, again no go, as insurance was in my name, title in father in laws. Classic Catch-22. Told me he would have to have insurance in his name before they could sell a tag or issue dup title. That makes no sense. I left called DMV, the lady on phone was appalled until I told her where it was and then I got the "yes well that makes sense now..." advised to NOT use them anymore. Indicated she gets lots of complaints. 1 Star because you can't leave zero.
Negative experience: Kept trying to call during business hours and their line was busy every time. I gave my business to the other one in Newcastle. Props for being open on Saturday, but they need an effective business phone system.
Negative experience: Zero Stars. I walked in and nobody was at the counter. I approached the counter and without even being greeted, I was told that i wasn't the next person in line. Was only one other person in the place and they were setting in chair off to the side. Horrible customer service.
Negative experience: I really want to give this place ZERO ☆'s, it sucks that bad. Terrible customer service, so rude all the time, and they never want to do there job. LAZY COWS!
Fantastic experience: I've been to a number of tag agencies around the OKC metro area and Tri-City Tag is my favorite by far. I am also originally from out of state and can tell you that dealing with tag agencies is an absolute pleasure compared to going to the DMV in other states. This agency has gone above and beyond for me several times on some strange title issues I've encountered. I don't think I have ever waited more than 5 minutes even during the busiest times.
