Fantastic experience: Had the pleasure of learning under Timothy Joseph, over our six lessons he guided me and gave me practical advice on how to drive. By the time I came to do my formal road test, Mr Joseph provided some final guidance, allowing me to pass the test and acquire my licence on my first attempt! 100% recommend.

Negative experience: I wish I can give them zero stars. Timothy Joseph missed my first lesson and then my second lesson (technically first because he missed the original first one) he expected me to know everything about driving when I never drove before, and i mentioned to him that I never drove before. After my "first" lesson I wanted to quit but i went for 3 more out of my 10 lesson (all together I did 4 lessons out of 10) and the 4th lesson was my breaking point He was 21 mins late and I had to call him to ensure that the lesson was still on. Then, he was teaching how to park and how to do a 3 point u turn. Teaching me 2 different things at the same time was confusing and he would make sassy remarks when i asked questions. The car is old and janky, the seatbelt pops right out, the wheel isn't completely straight and the car is just very filthy. Joseph is just an aggressive person who is verbally abusive and he has poor communication skills. Yes the prices are inexpensive but you are getting a low quality experience as well, it's really not worth it. I honestly would not recommend coming here. If you would want learn how to drive places like K turn driving academy and Drive Rite academy are great so i've heard.

Fantastic experience: Driving instructor gave me and my brother great lessons. I suggest you come to this specifically if you want to learn. Took my lessons, and took my road test today and passed on my first try.

Negative experience: DO NOT BOOK WITH THEM IF YOU WANT TO PASS!! Timothy Joseph is a rude crancky old man and I cancelled my package after my first driving class. First of all, Joseph missed my first appointment and showed up 15 mins late to my 2nd appointment with a filthy car! The car is so old, dusty, grimmy and the gas/brake are so outdated. It feels like you’re driving on the pavement cause the seats are so indented and old. Joseph was a horrible instructor, who wanted to teach me to drive as an aggressive New Yorker rather than to pass the DMV test. He literally refused to explain what the street signs means, he would get verbally aggressive and get upset because I “let another car pass me”. At one point I asked him abt the stop signal rules and he told me to “DO WHATEVER YOU NEED TO DO” because “ DRIVING IS ABOUT MAKING MISTAKES”. This man made me feel so unsafe and would throw out negative words. He didn’t even take the time to show me how to drive, he placed me on the wheel and expected me to know everything! I was literally scared to crash because he was so negative. yes the price is affordable but you will get what you paid for ( low quality teaching). Invest money in a good school with good vehicles and instructors that will help you pass. The guy on the phone (Orlando) on the other hand is very responsive and understanding. He addressed my concerns with no questions.

Negative experience: WORST EXPERIENCE EVER. Paid for the 5 hrs course, car rental for driving test and appointment; the teacher was late, had terrible manners, the car was dirty and smelled bad and I was asked to pull over on bus only lanes so he could talk on the phone. After taking the 1hr ‘driving lesson’ we got to the DMV test site and this guy’s car registration WAS EXPIRED! Therefore I wasn’t allowed to take the test and wasted a lot of time with this ‘auto school’ which, by the way, it’s actually a hardware store. They didn’t do a full refund when I got to the office, even when the guy said I was gonna get all my money back.

Fantastic experience: I took driving classes with mister Joseph and I was so nervous to the point that I even cried at a few of my lessons (only because I’m dramatic). I took the test for the first time and passed. I am super happy and grateful for them. He will drill you about the “ball” come prepared ! All in all he knows what he’s doing just trust the process !!

Fantastic experience: The best experiencing learning how to drive! Mr. Joseph's teaching was spot on and intuition on what I needed to improve upon was always right. He was SO SO helpful and had brilliant tips on how to remember what to do on the road or while parking. I took only seven lessons with him (and three before that) and felt fully prepared and ready to take my test. Orlando was also super helpful and very responsive at all times. I passed my driving test on my first try all because of them. Overall a fabulous experience at the school and would really highly recommend for everyone, especially those are that not confident in their skills.

Fantastic experience: Well I have to say that Mr. Joseph is a very good driving instructor. We had two lessons, and the day of the driving exam it was raining hard and I was still able to pass. Old school car, old school rules, old school instructor, and an old school student. Fantastic experience: Before my road test I knew I was not very confident with my parallel parking. I told this to my instructor Mr Timothy. He thought me how to do this effectively. Long story short I passed my test and it was my first trial. Thank you Mr Timothy for your help.

Fantastic experience: For 29-30 years, I told myself I would never drive, not even get behind the wheel, due to having a lot of anxieties. Maybe from watching to much movies, example…………. Remember the Titans . Last year May I applied to be an customs agent. A requirement is a driver’s license. I told myself I had to tough it out n get my license. Got my permit in August. In September my girl Diamond & my friend Damon helped me build confidence to get behind the wheel. I did okay for my first time on the road. In October was the first time I joined a Driving School. I payed for I believe 10 classes. I didn’t know what to except. My instructor name was Timothy. He was an older Caribbean. At first I was annoyed because at every mistake he called me out on it. But by the 3rd class I looked for his validation. He was very tough on me and that molded me to a better driver after every class. When I practiced with my friend I heard Timothy’s voice telling me to look back at my blind spot when I turned. He was a big help to me. My classes ended in October, my driving test was scheduled for November 5th I believe. I passed on my first try . I was excited because I remember telling myself that I wouldn’t & couldn't drive. I was scared for 30 years before getting my license. My bday was Oct 23rd, so it felt good getting it weeks after my bday past. Sorry for this long essay lol. But I definitely had to show appreciation to Adams Auto School, definitely Timothy. If anyone have any questions or need help with your anxieties you can dm me on IG @tevin92bk. Negative experience: This driving school is the worst bro. The driving instructor came to pick me up 30 mins late. Then he arrives in this old dirty white car with no ac. Then the lesson is only like 20-25mins for $50 are u kidding me. Don’t even bother to call them they never answer the phone.

Negative experience: My experience with Adams Auto School has been both unpleasant and traumatizing. I had paid for the 8 classes plan. My lessons started with the manager, Joseph. The first incident that caught me off guard was on my first lesson. He had me stop outside of a store. He left and went to buy some food before coming back for my lesson. I felt this was an unprofessional use of the time I paid for. He was also very impatient, and his explanations were confusing. For example, he used vague explanations with turning (ex: turn with the corner). He also became increasingly frustrated with me when showing me how to park. He never alerted me that he wanted to show me how to park. He just told me to “stop the car”. When I was struggling with backing up, he became frustrated. After 4 lessons with Joseph, I called the school and asked to be switched to a new driver. That was when I was given Mr. Miller. Mr. Miller touched me inappropriately numerous times. He would continuously touch and tap my hand and arm. This was coupled with him engaging in random conversations that consistently distracted me when driving. Our last session was by far the most traumatizing. After having me drive off from a gas station, he held my hand when I tried to put the car into drive. He also repeatedly touched my leg. He then had me drive to a location where he had me park. I assumed he was going to teach me how to pull out when he just left me in the car alone for 15 minuets. He came back with a plastic bag, talking openly about smelling salt and oil. Lastly, he engaged in a conversation about strippers and talked graphically about their breasts being exposed The impatient instruction from Joseph and the inappropriate harassment from Mr. Miller left me extremely disgusted as this was my first experience with a driving school. I would never recommend this school to anyone, especially to women.

Negative experience: I’m totally confused by so many positive reviews. I choose this school because of the reviews and ended up wasting a lot of money on the worst driving school ever. First of all the car that they use was extremely old and dirty. The first instructor was extremely aggressive and didn’t allow me ask questions. The second instructor was very friendly and talkative (when he wasn’t falling asleep during the lesson), but was always 15 to 20 minutes late. Each lesson was exactly the same route. This route did not include left turns or driving down a two way street. After my 10 lesson, I finally decided to give up on learning how to drive. It wasn’t until a friend told me about her driving school. After my first lesson with Blue Steel (in a new vehicle) I realized it wasn’t me it was the Adams driving school. I can not recommend the driving school. It was an awful experience for me and a waste of money.

Fantastic experience: Adams Driving is my third school that I went to, to learn how to drive. I thought had it to my understanding but I didn’t know exactly what to do. Mr. Miller was my instructor. Where I was lacking he helped me a lot even down to me passing my road test. I will not forget the gems Mr. Miller gave me about driving. He is an Excellent Teacher!!!!!

Fantastic experience: I have tried other schools prior to attending Adam auto school and learned not one thing but how to ignore drivers horn. This school has taught me everything I needed to know to not only pass the test but how to be prepared to drive anywhere. I recommend Mr Timothy. He was always on time professional, taught me everything and even when mistakes was made he supported you on how to fix it and assure it was on the next lesson. Stop looking and book a class with mr Timothy you’ll be fine.

Negative experience: I’m only giving two stars because I had 2/3 good driving instructors and the receptionist had good customer service; However, I told the receptionist to set my road test and he confirmed with me that he did. The day of my road test comes and I go and I was told I couldn’t take the road test because I wasn’t scheduled. Therefore, I wasted my time and my money preparing for the road test. I went back to get my refund and the receptionist didn’t even apologize for his mistake! Also, neither did the owner whom took me to the test site. Not to mention, the owner was rude the day of my road test, in which had ruined my mood and confidence. Without confidence it would be hard to pass the test. Very unprofessional... The other 1/3 driving instructor called me yelling at me because I had canceled twice. But last time I checked, I’m paying for those fees... Therefore, he shouldn’t have had a problem just like the receptionist didn’t.

Fantastic experience: I attended Adams Auto School in 1997 and had the best instructor named Gerard P. Clarke, who not only prepared me for the road test (for which I passed the first time with a perfect score of 100%), but, he also taught me how to be a very good defensive driver. To this day, I still remember, practice, and cherish everything he has taught me, and in 22 years have never been in an auto accident..his beyond excellent tutelage and sage advice has kept both me, as well as my passengers safe and sound. I just can't say enough wonderful things about this school, and I wish them the very best. By the way, Mr. Clarke has long since become an examiner for the DMV..that's how good an instructor he was/is.

I took the time out to read every review, I went to judge for myself took a total of 9 lessons, I passed first time taking road test.. my instructor was Doc and he was great, told me all my wrongs and how to fix them..(oh first time driver)

Negative experience: Honestly they just make you drive, your not learning the K turn, nothing like that. You tell them you want to specifically do parking for most of your day, they’re just gonna make you drive. Never again!!

Negative experience: THIS IS A HORRIBLE SCHOOL. THE INFORMATION GIVING IS WRONG. THEY ONLY WANT YOUR MONEY. I THINK TIMOTHY LIVES THERE AND WAS STILL LATE TAKEN ME OUT FOR MY LESSON. HE WAS ON THE PHONE AND PUT ME IN THE WORST MOOD FOR MY ROAD TEST WHICH I FAILED!!!! They get one star and his name is Mr. Wilson.

Fantastic experience: I didn’t take the driving lessons, just the preparation for the permit, but everything was easy and smooth enough.

Negative experience: This school doesn’t really help you with driving skills at all!! They just want your money. There were numerous of times where my teacher was on his phone or cutting his nails. And every time I would ask a question it would never get answered. UNPROFESSIONAL UPDATE: An instructor from Adams auto school told me I couldn't move my mirrors to park during the road test. After I failed my road test with about 35 points taken off with this terrible school in July, I went to another Driving school company called Drive Rite Academy. I scheduled a road test in August with Drive Rite Academy school and I PASSED with a 90% !!! When I told Drive Rite about the whole mirror situation they looked at me like I was crazy. AND I asked the examiner during the test if I could move my mirrors and they told I could!! Adams Auto School gives out wrong information!!! Like I said THEY WANT YOUR MONEY.

I REPEAT DO NOT GO THERE!!!! the instructor was on the phone the whole time!!! i had early classes and it was 8 in the morning and the instructor i had (i dont remember his name, he had dreads and wears glasses) was on the phone not even paying attention to me and at the end of the class had the nerve to tell me if i want to drive i should read some books to teach me. that was just awful. i would not recommend anyone go there

Negative experience: I SIGNED UP FOR 6 LESSONS WITH THIS SCHOOL, NO ROAD TEST, IM A BEGINNER SO I FELT I WASN'T READY FOR THE ROAD TEST. MY INSTRUCTOR NAME WAS MR.STEWART, LEST'S JUST SAY THAT MR STEWART NEEDS A LESSON IN PATIENCE, HE WAS NOT INSTRUCTING ME TO DRIVE HE WAS COMMANDING. I FELT VERY BAD WHEN TAKING LESSONS WITH HIM AND FELT LIKE I WAS NOT LEARNING ANYTHING. IF YOU ARE A BEGINNER DRIVER LIKE MYSELF, DON'T TAKE LESSONS WITH HIM. YOU NEED SOMEONE WITH PATIENCE, TIME AND UNDERSTANDING TO YOUR TYPE OF DRIVING LEVEL.
