Negative experience: I have met and spent a lot of time as a passenger to a driver who utilized this company. She is the most incompetent driver I have ever met. She cannot/refuses to park because she does not know how. She cannot parallel park. She cannot stay in a lane. She does not know the basic rules of the road. It is terrifying that this level of driving is acceptable and taught by this company. Your drivers are a danger to all other cars on the road.

Fantastic experience: Our oldest daughter went through the Masterdrive program and enjoyed her experience. Everyone we spoke and worked with was thoughtful and friendly and I liked their comprehensive approach to training young drivers. We have two more kiddos to get safely on the road and we’ll be working with MasterDrive to get them prepared to be on the road.

Negative experience: Master Drive is the most expensive driving program available. Customer service does not match with the price. Everytime I scheduled a lesson I was told a different recommendation by their staff about timing. Every time and no two recommendations were the same. It was frustrating and I was treated poorly by them for following their recommendations. My daughters first lesson the instructor said she would've passed the driving text that day if she had it. So ultimately I have wasted time and money and would not recommend.

Fantastic experience: I just took the live class (online) tonight, 6/11/2024 with Jason. No one looks forward to any court ordered or mandatory class. This one was actually interesting, fun and really informative. There were few laws that have changed or will be changing, which I had no clue about. Loved the videos of the skid recovery they teach in real life to their students. I took drivers ed as a teen and never even heard of something like this. If I had a child or any beginers learning how to drive, or even just learning how drive in Colorado conditions. I would go with these guys. No question!!. As soon as class was over, I reached out and recommended them to a friend of mine, who is starting a small hauling business, this might be a worthy investment for any future employees. Thank you all.

Fantastic experience: Our daughter was a reluctant driver so we enrolled her in the driving skills camp and skid camp. She came away from those camps with more confidence thanks to the patient instructors! Thanks!

Negative experience: Signed my twins up for the premier MasterDrive experience in April 2023 and cannot be more disappointed. Kids actually got their permits in May. Wish I had known that availability of the driving camps and instructor lessons were nearly non-existent, I would have gone with someone else. My son just barely got to do the skills training driving camp (couldn't have both kids do it as we only had one car available) and now we have to wait another two months to be able to do the behind-the-wheel/on-street lessons with an instructor. I haven't even been given a scheduled date (potentially November) for my daughters skills driving camp and they didn't want to do the behind-the-wheel/on-street lessons ahead of time. They obviously do not have the staff to handle the number of students. Since we paid for a package, partial refunds are not available. Feel stuck and angry.

Fantastic experience: I was the Senior Prosecutor in the Denver County Court Traffic Division for many years - personally reviewing thousands of accident reports. When it came to providing my only teenager daughter with the best professional driving instruction, focusing on having her learn how to drive in snowy and icy road conditions, I did my research and hired MasterDrive. They have an awesome reputation in the Front Range, and my daughter gained a significant increase in her confidence in driving. Don't play around with you or your loved one's lives - driving skills in Colorado need professional help to deal with winter driving conditions. "An ounce of prevention..." Hire MasterDrive!

Fantastic experience: Today, our daughter avoided a multi vehicle crash on black ice in Minnesota. She credited her Masterdrive course she took decades ago for keeping her safe. As she said “It all just kicked in. Everything I was taught on that skid course years ago told me exactly what to do!”

Negative experience: Biggest ripoff ever!!!!!! Over priced compared to all others for the same information

Negative experience: I want to get my 3 kids and my wife a defensive driving course. Nothing court mandated just so they can be safer on the road and know how to handle their cars incase of emergency. MasterDrive is so stupidly expensive and we have 4 and the only break in price is $25 off for 3 and the 1st pays $450. So my total is $1725!!!! For a 4 hour course and you primarily use your own car and only theirs for one portion. Times are tough for everyone. It’s places like this that makes life that much harder for all. Being over priced is one thing flat out gouging is another. Thankfully after a lot of searching I found a company that offers the same but for $289/ea. If we all stop supporting companies that gouge then those companies will have no choice but to be fair. I gave 2 stars because the person I spoke with was polite. The low ranking is because I am just tired of companies that gouge people. Especially for something that will only help not only us but everyone on the road.

From car basic before driving up to on road tips, safety pointers, common mistakes violation and any thing in between plus the light hearted way she give pointers make the experience and learning more easily understood It's worth every penny

Fantastic experience: Highly recommend this class to everyone, it is mostly court referred but it's valuable in any event. Roger is an awesome teacher, he kept us on task and the content moving, which is what's really important in a one or two off class like this.

Fantastic experience: I'll be honest, my experience was a Court Mandated one. Even with that, it was an EXCELLENT experience! Easy to pay for, super easy to attend (as it was via Zoom), even easier turning in my completed letter to the Courts a few days after! The information is super helpful too! My teacher also recommended going back to attend more sessions later on down the road (hopefully on my own and not being forced to by the courts). If you're on the fence about coming here, I completely advise that you do!!

Positive experience: It is time to do in person classes. The instructors spend a lot of time trying to get the kids to turn on their cameras and pay attention on line. I think we can move past the fear of in person learning and do this in person for a better learning experience and keep the kids interest.

Negative experience: Masterdrive sent my 80 year old Mother in law a link that did not work to get into the class. She and my Wife tried to enter the class from 15 minutes before the class to 45 minutes into the class with the link provided and it did not work. They called Master Drive the next day and were told that she would need to pay an additional $50 dollars for another class because she did not join. When we explained the situation they said that she should have called the office. The office is not open when her class started. They tried. Masterdrive is a scam. They call themselves a family owned company but have absolutely no customer service. How can you scam an 80 year old woman because your link doesn't work??? You can tell that their business is built around court ordered classes. I think our courts need new options than this one.

Negative experience: I know of 4 students that took this course and the drive test with them and all of them failed the exam. I wonder why they don't share their success rate?? Makes me wonder if they do this to make more money with having students take the exam again for an extra fee. I recommend going not using this company.

Fantastic experience: Had to take a 4 hour court mandated class. A gentleman by the name of Roger ran the class. He made the class very fun and enjoyable.

Negative experience: Extremely rude manager. Unprofessional and more concerned with being right than doing right. I highly recommend looking elsewhere for drivers ed. The response below is patently false. I have invited Mr. Langford to contact me via email or phone and he has neglected to do so. If he was truly interested in obtaining a “firm grasp of both sides” he would have done so. This company stole money from me and thinks they can justify it by fabricating stories that put my character into question. Absolutely unacceptable business practices.

Fantastic experience: So I took the master drive course nearly 3 years ago. Today was the first day after getting my license I had to drive myself to work in a blizzard... Do too the bad road conditions, I hydroplaned twice. And all I could hear was the instructor from my class saying the turn into it. I knew exactly what to do and to my surprise I didn't panic. I can not be more grateful that I spent the money on those defense driving classes. Thank you Master drive.

Fantastic experience: We have used MasterDrive for both of my kids now and the experiences with this organization have just been wonderful. Scheduling was very easy. Teachers have been great, patient and full of information. My kids learned a lot in a short amount of time and have great driving skills (I may have learned/been reminded of a thing or two as well). They are confident drivers due to this experience. I would recommend MasterDrive to anyone.

Sarah called me the next day and explained to me that it was a matter of me trying to login too early. I apologized for not being very 'tech savvy' and she rescheduled me for the next available date and gave me a few pointers to help me with my next login. Very understanding of her!!!

Fantastic experience: Whether you're mandated by the courts or you're just interested in being better, this is the place to go for all your traffic needs. This place was super informative and has now saved me many a traffic violation for things I never knew existed. I was required to go bc I speed. Even tho I was forced, I'm glad they did bc it turned out to be a fun time with the class and the professor and even tho it was done online, it was still super chill. Thanks a lot!

Fantastic experience: Lessons I learned from Masterdrive when I went through their program years ago still stick with me to this day, and have legitimately saved my life. The coaches are professional, clearly communicate, and remain calm and supportive even when intimidating situations for students arise on the road. The skills course was both fun and highly educational, and built up my confidence in a closed, safe environment. Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: Just got done with my Masterdrive Level 1 course, and I found it to be extremely informative. There was plenty to learn. Admar, Josh and Phillip were eager to teach. Honestly, it was not as grueling as you might expect a 4 hour lecture to be. Students were able to speak up and ask any questions as they came. They even dedicated about 10 minutes for a one on one since I was willing to stay on after the 4hrs. Great information for how to handle a skid out in the snow, and as a graduate I intend on participating in a training course for winter driving at a discounted price. I highly recommend this course to drivers of all experience levels.

Negative experience: Very rude over phone and very difficult to work with in general. Waste of time and money. The content doesn’t teach much. YouTube is your best friend. Trust.

Negative experience: Really poor communication and slow response time to answer questions. Also a lady that was on the phone was RUDE. Years ago, when our oldest daughter took the class, they were great. Now - not so much. We went with a different academy. Hopefully they'll regain their former quality and service.

Fantastic experience: i am taking drivers education courses online for masterdrive and I've had an awesome experience so far!! everything is so nicely put together and it's very easy for me to study. I just recently took the level one test and had no problems at all remembering what I studied and typically I can't focus when doing work but the way this is put together helped me a bunch! the questions at the end of each page get me thinking about things. This program is very easy to use and get ahold of! Very affordable too. Thanks

Fantastic experience: MasterDrive is a great company. I took their course years ago and found it immensely helpful. I have had a great driving record and the two accidents that I have had in nearly 25 years of driving have not been my fault and could have been much worse if not for the good defensive driving skills I learned through MasterDrive. My kids are now old enough to take driver’s ed courses and I have enrolled them with MasterDrive. I think what they learn there is invaluable and way beyond what they need to know to only pass the driving test. I highly recommend them!

Negative experience: My daughter took a driving course at this location and we were NOT told that the employees would be driving OUR vehicles. Needless to say one of the employees damaged my car. When I contacted the business they seemed not to care & blocked my future emails. We WERE going to do more on road driving lessons, now we're going to take our business elsewhere. On top of this one of the female employees was very unfriendly to me, but for some reason was super friendly to all the other parents who picked up their children. People that masterdrive communicated with an organization but did nothing to solve the problem with my vehicle. This is a really badly run business and I would not recommend anyone going to this location, please try to find another Driving School! They ONLY cared about receiving payment for my daughter maybe that's all they care about!

Negative experience: I've never taken a class here, but I was driving and one of their cars almost merged into me! Luckily I was quick to respond and got out of the way, and shook it off like it was a student driver. Come to find out after passing the driver that there was only one person in the car, so I'm assuming it was an instuctor who didnt look over his shoulder!! I get that stuff happens, maybe he just forgot, but it's a really bad look when your job is to teach people how to drive. I wouldn't recommend this driving school. /:

Negative experience: Sadly the estrogen-laden rockette woman who answered the phone was too defensive and grumpy for our questions to be answered about bring THREE potential clients to this business for driving instruction. We will be looking elsewhere.

Fantastic experience: Seeing masterdrive on TV assisting the Colorado springs deaf and blind school (blind students) with driving about brought me to tears what a wonderful gift you gave to students with vision impairments. Thank you

Negative experience: They will schedule each on street lesson at least one or two months apart. How am I supposed to do well on the actual driving test? It's a waste of money do not spend your money or time here.

Negative experience: I have enrolled multiple students in Master Drive and not one passed driving test first time. Master Drive is very difficult to work with! The staff assumes we as the consumer understand their process. Example would be I called for my son's competition certificate and found out he didn't complete the driving he has one more drive. That is little late he was at Master Drive 4 years ago or so. Only reason I called today was because would help with insurance rates. I only have 7 days to turn in completion certificate and certainly not going to complete this in 7 days. Guess I should have understood the process and known that my son hadn't complete the course. Master Drive is very expensive compare to other driving schools and my last two children have attended other driving schools and much better experience.

Negative experience: Sucks. They’ve changed their rules too many times. Don’t care about their students. Aren’t helpful. Screwed up with putting completions in the computer. Trained me with music on the course, non stop talking on the on road. Say they care but really don’t. Don’t ever listen to a word I say, don’t tell me what’s wrong. While on the course I had an instructor tell my friend to tell me something instead of doing it herself. When my friend told the instrutor that she should tell me she didn’t. Say they will take what you say into consideration but don’t. Not once was I ever put into a silent environment like the test. I have severe anxiety, staring and silence really bothers me and distracts me. I’ve mentioned this to them several times but I’ll I’ve ever gotten was “ I’ve never heard of that before.” I took the pre-test where the guy did nothing but talk to me. He didn’t stop, even told me that switching lanes in a intersection wasn’t illegal. But he didn’t stop talking to me, told me I’d pass my test. When I didn’t they didn’t say what went wrong or talk to a parent like they did when my friend went here. Not once have they helped in anyway shape or form. They know of my anxiety and didn’t bother to help at all instead they just complained that my hair was too long and needed to be put up and my glasses are too thick.

Fantastic experience: Enrolled in a Saturday class, I was expecting for a mundane 8 hour bore-fest. To my surprise, it was anything but! The instructor—unfortunately I do not remember his name, but do remember that he was Eastern European—actually made the class quite entertaining. Keep in mind that this was a class I was required to take as punishment for some of my indiscretions. The instructors enthusiasm, sense of humor, and ability to relate with his students actually made a subject that is inherently boring extremely interesting and even fun. Sarah was also EXCELLENT in handling my requests subsequent to the class. Could not recommend this class enough to anyone seeking to improve their driving skills or needing to satisfy court requirements.

Fantastic experience: We are happy customers of Master Drive. Great service, great learning experience. My kids and I have been very pleased.

Positive experience: Communication regarding test results could be better. If that was all, I'd give them 3.5 stars because the content is great. The problem is with the attitude that I got from the employee that I spoke to on the phone. She was not interested in my frustrations and was obviously not planning on passing on my complaints to anyone. All I got was the "I'm sorry you feel that way" spiel. Edit: Either they saw my negative review or the employee on the phone told her manager. The fact that they reached out to me to try and resolve my frustrations, tells me that they care about customer service so I'm increasing my rating to 3.5 stars.

Negative experience: I personally just don't like how this is the only company that services a class I have to take for court. It is only available at this location too. It kind of makes me feel like it's not a very legitimate business, and really puts a damper on my plans.

Fantastic experience: Highly recommended! Both of my kids went through the MDX Premier package, which included 30 hours of classroom instruction, permit test, on-road driving, basic driving camp, and winter skills driving camp. We paid extra for a practice test and driver's license test (to avoid too much time at the DMV, but also because the MD instructors are amazing!) My experience is that they are the best in the business. Both kids told me that the muscle memory they learned in their driving camps has paid off on the road. Every single instructor and office employee I've been in touch with has been respectful and personable. It is a lot of money, but my kiddos are worth every penny!

Negative experience: All the instructors are rude. It’s not worth your money. Teach your kids how to drive yourself, it’s spending time with them and showing that you care. Taking your kids to places like this are just telling them you don’t really care and come back when you have your license. Seriously guys don’t ever take your kids here just teach your kids spend time with them. Screw masterdrive and there stupid program

Negative experience: Master drive is a complete waste of money. I enrolled my daughter in the class to learn how to drive, she left with little to no more knowledge than she started with. We did end up with a nice booklet on the requirements that I needed to help her to learn to drive and obtain her license. I would like a refund!

Fantastic experience: I just finished the course and the coaches were amazing, friendly, and were very knowledgeable! You get tons of time behind the wheel and which they focus on crash prevention and and skids.

Negative experience: I wanted a driver's education course for my son because I was not comfortable with the idea of teaching him to drive myself, also I work full time all the time and I really didn't have the time needed to teach him. I wanted a pro to teach him. We did Masterdrive for my son and paid $900... sorry to say I didn't love it. Super pricey and they do not give students as much time behind the wheel as I thought and actually the program felt more like a "support" for me to teach my kid to drive myself.... as the majority of the practice (and therefore learning) time was put on to the parents independently. They get only a handful of "three hour" driving practices with the instructor, which they have to share with other students, so they don't end up actually driving with the instructor much overall. For the money I was very disappointed. I gave two stars because the Winter Driving Course portion of the program was good... but I could have paid a fraction of the price and just enrolled my kid in that after I taught him how to drive myself ... which I was forced to do after I paid so very much money to the "professionals".

Fantastic experience: Great instructors and method of teaching. I learned a lot here on how to be a safe driver, and passed the drivers license test at the DMV first try. Also the skills learned at the course are very helpful especially when driving in this Colorado weather / traffic.
