Fantastic experience: I thought it would have been easy getting my US drivers license since I had driven for years in another country. However I was very wrong. After my first attempt, I found Raffie and took a lesson with him. By the time we were finished I felt much more prepared to drive for an exam (which is a whole different thing) and I felt much more confident on the road. Fantastic experience: I live out of town and visit the US for work occasionally. Even back at home, I am terrified of driving and I drive on the left side of the road. I put off learning how to drive in America for literal years because of how intimidating it was but my after my first lesson with Raffie, I was so much more confident with the idea of leaning how to drive. My only experience with driving instructors before this were all grumpy and impatient people but Raffie was extremely patient, gave clear instructions and his calming presence was exactly what I needed. I really appreciated how a lesson with him was so comprehensive and covered different scenarios and he also took my requests to go over skills that I was still unsure of. He is also good company to be around and I enjoyed my small conversations with him. His lessons are very reasonably priced and I’d highly recommend him.

As a completely new driver, I went into the first lesson very nervous but his calm demeanor really allowed me to fully trust in myself and in the process. Fantastic experience: I passed my driving test the first time today! I want to thank and respect to Raffie's teaching. Raffie is amazing very friendly professional and knowledgeable. How to communicate with a DEAF person? How did I communicate with my instructor while driving? My driving instructor was hearing, he had never worked with a deaf person before so he was nervous. He doesn't know to sign as American Sign Language (ASL). I would learn faster as the communication would work well, from the beginning, there were lots of miscommunication but later on we became more better and communicate well. I had a few lessons with someone else before I met Raffie. The first day Raffie watched how I drove and found out what needed to work on. I lack communicate with him. I had 7 or 8 times and 2 hours. Better better better My instructor never sat back and made the gestures really low, he would go forward and make sure the gestures were clear enough, instead of speaking.....go to this place, a lot of signs, and changes lanes.......and wrote a note. He would tell me to park at any place, intersections, and flashing red, yellow & green, ect. I followed his directions and recognized his gestures. He was very patient, understanding and corrected me on the mistakes I was doing while driving. Improving my driving lesson and confidence. Highly recommend, best spot in Glendale.
