Fantastic experience: I can’t say enough about Bath Beach Driving School and Tom. The first time I took my road test I failed. My nerves took over. I didn’t have the confidence to parallel park. I went back to the school and rescheduled my road test. I got Tom as my instructor. He is wonderful. His way of teaching you to parallel park will ensure that you NEVER fail parallel parking. He encourages you and calms you. He brings you out of your comfort zone and will have you drive on roads that he knows will be on your road test to teach you and give you the skills to maneuver these difficult roads. He’s very encouraging and super supportive and made driving seem way less complicated than I initially thought it was. Fantastic experience: Highly recommend! Debra and Barbra at the office are very friendly, very helpful, are able to fit driving lessons under your schedule so the flexibility was there. My main instructor was Tom and he was very friendly and taught me everything I needed to know to learn how to drive safely and efficiently. I had him for 10 driving lessons to prepare for my road test and I passed on the first try. I also took a few highway lessons with Tom as well and with his instruction, I am able to navigate the highway and be confident driving on a daily basis. Before signing up for lessons, I was terrified of driving in NYC and on the highway but thanks to Bath Beach Driving School, Tom, Edward and Marcus, I drive everyday in the busiest streets in town with ease and safely. The front desk workers are all incredibly nice and make scheduling lessons and the road test as easy as possible. I had some lessons with Mark and Lenny, but I predominantly had Tom as my instructor and I can confidently say that he will do an amazing job prepping you for the exam. They are each very dedicated to their students and provide detailed explanations for everything. TRUST THE PROCESSSSS!! I was in a hit and run accident 3 years ago and I was scared to get behind the wheel. Not only did they help me get over that fear, but I can confidently boast about my driving abilities ! Fantastic experience: The front desk was extremely nice and cooperative when setting schedules for Road Lessons. I got Tom for most of my lessons and he is a great instructor. Super proactive and makes the drive fun, while also making sure you learn the ins and outs of driving. He will challenge you sometimes to ensure you know how to drive confidently in all possible situations. I also had Lenny and he's a very relaxed instructor with similar teaching styles as Tom. Overall, I would recommend this school if it's your first time on the wheel. I did 11 lessons (probably more than needed, but better nonetheless), and passed my road test first try!

Negative experience: This place is a scam , has been under investigation several times , also overcharging their “deals” for road test , taking advantage of people so that they will fail once to pay again . Do not waste your money here ! Do proper research with the NYC Dmv, and you will see the truth for yourself . Very shady place , very shady people , do not recommend unless you are in for a ride for your money !

When I came to Bath Beach Driving School, I felt this was the right place! There were ladies in the office all were friendly and very professional.There are very good pricing options and flexible scheduling offers for lessons. Most of my lessons were with great instructor Timothy. He also took me to road test, which I passed on the first attempt. One lesson I had with Barbara, the owner, very delightful person. I would highly recommend this driving school for beginners as well as those who wanting to sharpen their skills.

It took me a long time to choose a school bc I am a very nervous person and it was really important to find instructors who would be patient with me. They did have a wait for lessons bc of the covid back-up but I decided to wait based on their good yelp reviews. They are SO worth the wait!!!!!!!!! Everything from signing up for the lessons to passing the road test on my first try was SMOOTH and easy! The office staff is amazing! Kind and easy to work with. The instructors were beyond amazing! All of my lesson were with Barbra and in just 5 lessons- I gained that confidence I never ever had behind the wheel. The day of my test I had a lesson with Lenny and if it wasn’t for that lesson- I might not have passed. I can’t recommend this school enough! If you have to wait for lessons- wait! So worth it!!! Also have to add- I was able to get my 5-hour course with them and they took care of scheduling my road test. They call and confirm every time you have a lesson with them. Fantastic experience: Today I passed my road test. The owner of this school Barbara has outstandable teaching skills about driving. She is a little bit strict but believe this works for our benefits. There is no way not to pass the test after a few lessons with her!! Thanks a lot to the instructor Mirsad too. He also loves his job and did his best and helped me to learn how to drive effectively. Receptionists are also nice, especially Destiny is patient and polite on phone. Overall I had a very good experience in Bath Beach Driving school, very professional and caring staff.

Fantastic experience: I passed my road test on Wednesday! I want to give a HUGE thank you to Lennie! He was my instructor for the majority of my lessons. I booked and intentionally waited an entire month and a half to take my lessons consecutively with him because he wasn't available at the time since he gets booked super fast! He is super kind, very PATIENT, and upbeat. He is respectful and whenever I made a mistake, he didn't make me feel bad about it because he knew that I was still learning. He literally goes over everything that is on the road test and lets you know what you need to work on. For the lessons, not only did he prepare me for the road test but he also wanted me to get more comfortable just driving on a regular basis. He gives tips not only for the road test but also for anything that we should be aware of when we start driving. He really wants you to pass! He instills confidence in you. I couldn't have asked for a better driving instructor. For my last lesson before the road test, I had Barbara who was also a great instructor. For my final lesson right before my road test I practiced in a different car than the one I took my previous lessons with but through Barbara's guidance I was still able to pass! She helped me with parallel parking which I was still a bit rusty on and told me how I should be able to fix it. The front desk were also a great help! They will answer any and all of your questions and they really work with you! I really like the fact that they call you a day before your lesson to remind you the date and time of your scheduled lesson. All in all, this was a very professional driving school and I wouldn't recommend any other place to go to!

Fantastic experience: I am thrilled to say I passed my driving test in Coney Island on my first try! A big THANK YOU! to Bath Beach Driving School and special shout out to Barbara, Lenny and Steve!!! I highly recommend Bath Beach driving school as the price is great compared to other schools which may charge higher. Staff is extremely professional and will call you before every class to remind you of your lessons. I forked out $570 and everything is taken care of for you (includes 10 one hour driving classes package, road test fee, scheduling the road test, the car for road test and 1 highway class offered to me at a discounted price but I'm not sure if it's for limited time only). The school will arrange the driving test date for you! The 5 hour class is not included and cost around $50++ which I took part in on Zoom due to the pandemic. Instructor comes to pick you up at home and drop you off at home after class. My driving history prior: Took few driving classes in Ohio with school or friends, then took driving test there where I failed the parking. Was lazy and left driving alone for many years. I had Barbara for my first class and she taught me the basics of driving and how to maneuver the steering wheel. She was extremely patient with me and made me feel at ease behind the wheel. I also had Lenny for couple of lessons and he is a great instructor. He will impart to you solid driving skills and will be honest with you on areas you need to improve on. I would say I can be a pretty fast acting, reckless driver at times but Lenny was able to remind me constantly that I need to slow it down and work on my observational skills. Through constant drilling, reminding and practicing, I'll say by the 10th lesson, most of my bad habits were gone. On the 10th lesson before the road test, I practiced parallel parking with Lenny and was still making mistakes but thankfully, during the road test I was able to parallel park well and no points were deducted for the parking. I was so happy! Lastly, STEVE!!!!!! He is the instructor that made me believe in myself as a driver!!! Constantly encouraging, motivating and reassuring! During my first lesson with him, he was in the driver seat and gave me a demonstration of how to use correct driving techniques so I have a visual for about 10 mins. He was so calm and each move was done so smoothly. He teaches you the 'text book style', showing you the way to pass the exam! Afterwards, he lets me have the wheel. He also chats with you and lighten up the atmosphere you don't even feel it's a class at all. You feel that you are driving a friend yet learning incredibly much from him. He taught me calmness, techniques and to always believe in myself as a driver. Aside from that, he is a very inspirational and interesting person with a great life story. I highly recommend Steve, you are an AMAZING driving instructor with a gift of teaching. You are a treasure to the driving school! THANK YOU! Invest your money in this school, it is worth every penny and every staff in here are amazing and such a blessing. I highly recommend Bath Beach Driving School and I owe my passing on first try to you!

Fantastic experience: This is a great driving school. The instructors are very professional and patient. They are truly dedicated to helping people learn to drive confidently and safely. I had lessons with Barbara, Lenny, Steve, and Anthony. They were all very supportive and helped me feel comfortable especially when I drove for the first time on the road with them. They gave excellent pointers and feedback and answered all my questions with detail. Barbara was especially attentive and supportive on my last lesson before the road test and made me feel much less nervous about it. I passed my road test from my first try thanks to the support of all the wonderful instructors. I would highly recommend this driving school to anyone needing lessons, whether they are already experienced or a complete beginner like I was.

Negative experience: This establishment looks professional on the outside. First snafu was with scheduled appointment. Driver didn’t show up, because someone mysteriously erased the name. No explanation from bosses( like I needed). Rescheduled appointment was established and later rescheduled again for not suitable time. Third situation didn’t happen because we took our money back. That was easy. The hard part was facing disappointment, when you start to like something, you expect great experience but life gives you knock on the head and kick in the balls... So, do not expect too much from them and be very realistic- they do business the way it suits them , not you The Customer

Fantastic experience: I was sitting on the idea of getting a driver's license for years. One day I decided to follow through and found this hidden gem of a place. The good reviews did not disappoint. Staff is professional and they communicate well. The instructors are patient, honest, and knowledgeable. I personally like that they accommodated with my schedule. They also offered pick up & drop offs which was very convenient. I passed my road test with this school after a few classes. Would definitely recommend this place to a friend!

It doesn't matter if you've never driven before, they'll teach you everything you need to know for the road test and for driving after you get your license. Fantastic experience: Based on reading the reviews you guys are great i have visited this place a couple of times! I got the drivers hand book for $8 from here! Very nice Staff!!! I passed my written test with a 17/20 thank you to bath beach driving school for making it possible!!! I am coming to take the 5 hour pre-licensing class in 1 too 2 weeks if there is one available! Then the big time comes!! I will practice with my dad or friend on the road to prepare my self for the road test!!! In god’s willing I will pass my road test first try knowing bath beach driving school staff members will be my instructors!!! Looking forward to working with you!!!

Fantastic experience: Just took my road test today & I passed!! I have to say this driving school is amazing and so helpful!! The instructors are great! They really care about making sure students understand everything! I took most of my lessons with Anthony and Lenny and they helped me so so much. Fantastic experience: I passed my road test today on my first try! Being in NYC, you sort of get used to not having a car and you give yourself excuses on why you don't need one....I'd taken driving lessons before at another location, but Bath Beach driving school really wants their students to succeed at driving. My main motivation was just having more options available (for my career as well as being there for my family). I took the 10 lesson package (you get 1 extra lesson as well). My instructors were Barbara, Lenny and Anthony. Barbara is really friendly. Lenny is serious and will point out to you your mistakes. Anthony is really chill and chatty and will get you to relax. It's like driving with a really good friend. This is just the beginning for me. Having accomplished this goal, makes me feel really confident that I'll be able to accomplish other goals that I set for myself in life, so a huge "THANK YOU!" to everyone at Bath Beach Driving School!

Fantastic experience: I've had the best experience with Bath Beach Driving School. The team is so attentive, organized and kind. All the instructors are A+ but I've had majority of my lessons with Lenny , he also took me to my road test which I passed on my very first try of course. I cannot say enough good things about him, so I will just say he's the ideal driving instructor anyone could hope for, he made the entire experience so easy with his detailed explanation and patience. I highly recommend this School.

Fantastic experience: I cannot form enough kind words about Bath Beach Driving School, but especially towards Mr. Robert. Let me begin by saying that everyone in that place has a heart of gold and want nothing but the best for you! They teach you the RIGHT way, not only for the test but how you should be driving in general. Whenever I had a a question or last minute change, they were always so kind and understanding. I started with 0 experience in driving. I had no hope in myself, but Mr. Robert did. He had patience of a saint!! I'm telling you! He showed me the ropes & explained the rules of the road to me. He never made me feel silly over my mistakes but everything is a lesson learned and how I could do better. I remember telling him on my third lesson "I don't think driving is for me" as I am sobbing in the car, and he looked at me and said "Would you tell your daughter that?" He made me believe in myself even with just knowing me for 1 hour of our lesson. When I passed my road test, it was a bittersweet feeling, exciting that I finally got my license, but saddening that those 1 hour classes leading up to my road test with Mr. Robert had come to an end, but that's okay! I'll be scheduling my highway lessons with you soon sir!! Thank you for teaching me Mr. Robert! If you go with Bath Beach Driving School, you won't go wrong! I promise!

Fantastic experience: Absolutely amazing experience. Took 7 classes with Lenny and had my road test at Lenevar Staten Island and passed my second try. Definitely could’ve got it the first round but I let my nerves get the best of me. I thought it would be awkward to learn to drive from someone that you don’t personally know but Lenny made me feel so comfortable and extremely confident. I feel like I was able to make a friend in a way too. Great people at this driving school HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Fantastic experience: My brother passed on his very first try with lessons from Barbara. My brother had to learn everything in roughly less than 2 weeks because of his circumstances and Barbara made it happen and was willing to work with us and try her best. For starters, she was very patient in accommodating lessons for us and then taught my brother everything so well that he passed on his first try. Thank you, Barbara! My brother also dealt with Anthony on the last day and had great things to say about him as well. The office staff over the phone is very pleasant too as opposed to some other schools that seem to have poor customer service. Honestly, I would recommend this school to everyone. They were awesome.

Fantastic experience: Great place with instructors that will point out everything there is to know about the road once you start driving and will make you feel very comfortable and confident. I highly recommend this place especially you live in the bensonhurst area. Megan was my primary instructor and she was great! She would observe any errors I made and corrected them until I was able to perform maneuvers correctly on my own. 5 stars without a doubt.

Fantastic experience: Best driving school ever!!! Barbara taught me how to drive in Staten Island (she knows the island very well) and she’s so amazing, very friendly and great interpersonal skills. I took 6 lessons and passed on my FIRST TRY !! I struggled with making turns and she helped me build confidence in my turns and improve greatly.
