Fantastic experience: My instructor was Jamie Wright. I found that he provided me with good knowledge and guidelines to further reinforce my driving skills. He was polite, friendly and was able to give good tips throughout each of my lessons. I was given everything I needed to know in order to pass my driving test with ease. I also found that Jamie was invested in not only making sure I passed my test, but that I was a genuinely good driver with good habits while on the road. I would highly recommend taking these courses.

Fantastic experience: My instructor Jamie was so good at his job. He was kind when he needed to be and strict when it was neccesary to be. He always made sure when I drove that it was as stress-free as it could be. Marji was a great driving tester as well and they both helped me pass my test!

Fantastic experience: I just passed my driving test today with Marjorie. I was a complete nervous wreck when I started the lesson but Jamie got me to where I need to be. Marjorie is amazing as well, she actually made me forget that I was taking a test. If you want to learn how to drive, this is the place to go. It's worth every penny.

Not to mention he has awesome reflexes (I totally would have hit a car once if he didn't hit the break on time... ) Also, the road test examiner Marji is the best you could ask for when it comes to taking your driving test. She was very kind, calming and patient (don't get me wrong, she would take points off if you do something wrong). I'm really glad I got to learn from such awesome instructors. It was worth every penny. Definitely recommend.

Fantastic experience: These lessons were fantastic. I had Jamie as my instructor. He was very nice and patient when I made mistakes. One thing I noticed that he was exceptional at was explaining things in an easy to understand and easy to follow way that 100% helped my improve at the rate that I did. I had 0 driving experience before these lessons and 0 driving practice outside of these lessons and he still was able to get me my license in the 12 hour course. I’d recommend these lessons to anyone who is learning or has someone who is learning to drive and wants them to be the best driver they can be. 5 stars no question.

Negative experience: Jamie literally traumatized my 16 year old Granddaughter and sent her out of the car crying he verbally abused her accused her of having ADD and embarrassed her. This was the most horrific experience especially for a young person who is brand new at driving. We cannot even believe this happened and then Brandy the office manager was completely rude would not acknowledge that this happened accuse me of lying and hung up on me. We will be pursuing this and filing a state report against them for child abuse.

Fantastic experience: Today I took my drivers test and let me tell you I was so nervous, my anxiety was going crazy. But my instructor was calm and understanding and it helped me a lot. So when I took my test I passed thanks to him. I really did appreciate him being understanding about my anxiety and told me everything was going to be okay. He also taught me some tips for road that helped a lot.

Fantastic experience: I’ve taken multiple sets of lessons at this driving school. I believe I’ve taken at least 24 hours in total with my instructor Jamie Wright, and he helped me SO MUCH!! Before this, I’ve never taken any driving lessons and I barely had any driving experience. Now, I just passed my license test and I couldn’t be happier!!! I highly recommend this driving school and highly recommend having Jamie as your instructor! He makes learning so much fun. :)

Fantastic experience: I am a Guardian Ad Litem volunteer. I work with foster teens in group homes. Three of these teens took driving lessons from Jamie Wright. They all had excellent experiences with Mr. Wright. He gives these teens the confidence and self esteem, to be able to learn to drive and pass their driver's test. Negative experience: This company canceled my daughter’s lessons because they said they didn’t service my area. Would have been nice to know before they took my money!! It’s been 3 months and many phone calls and I still haven’t received my money back! Avoid at all costs!!!!

Fantastic experience: I bought 18 hours of driving instruction for my daughter. She had no previous driving experience. Her instructor, Jamie Wright did an excellent job of getting her comfortable and confident on the road. He even taught her a lot of defensive driving skills. I am now very relaxed when my daughter is at the wheel. Highly recommend. Worth every penny!

Fantastic experience: Jamie was a very good instructor and had good conversation along the way.

Negative experience: Do not accept Desmond ORB Jackson. I’m sure this business and other instructors are great at what they do. Jackson on the other hand, does not teach on the road and the supervisor defended his ways while Desmond was sitting in the passenger seat. Desmond plays on his phone, and screams at other drivers showing huge unprofessionalism. Regardless that texting at a red light is legal in Florida, NEW drivers should not be told it is okay to do so after their SECOND day on the road. All Florida Institute declined payment refund and declined to give a new instructor with the full 8 hours paid. Only the remaining hours we had left. I recommend a different business, as this is a high risk payment. Because quality service is never guaranteed here.

Fantastic experience: I took a 6 hour course and even though I've been driving for a year, there was still lots to learn. Mr. Jamie Wright always made sure I was doing alright since there were times I felt my anxiety taking over. He gives very helpful tips that I later find myself using in my own driving. I was able to pass my road test easily.

Fantastic experience: Jamie was a very good teacher who helped expand my knowledge on the safety of the road. My road test instructor, Nick, was also very helpful and communitive during my road test, which helped ease the tension of the test. Overall, the lessons were definitely worth it, and taught me one of my most important lessons on the road: As you're driving, focus on the present and future outcomes, and don't think on what already happened. It's best to keep your mind focused as you drive.

Fantastic experience: I went in to these lessons feeling as though I were a horrible driver and I was genuinely terrified of driving. I had many close calls on the road before these lessons to the point that my parents were too afraid to teach me anymore. However after my lessons with Mr. Jamie Wright I was not only able to pass my driving test but I also managed to get a perfect score! He made the lessons much less stressful and his critiques were incredibly constructive! Thanks to him I now feel much more confident in my driving. Jamie is a stern but a very patient instructor, knowledgeable and gives utmost importance towards safe driving. Fantastic experience: Jamie is the best! My son enjoyed his 4 hours of instruction and was much more confident in his driving abilities after his time behind the wheel with Jamie. The office is a little difficult to get in touch with and it's easier if you can be flexible with scheduling. Jamie worked with us on that too. John did my road test and he was very fair, if you pay attention to your driving lessons and you listen to your driving instructor you should be ok. Fantastic experience: I’m from Hong Kong and just moved to the States less than 4 months ago. I have never needed to drive and I had absolutely zero knowledge about driving. I didn’t even know how to turn on a vehicle. In order to survive here in Melbourne, I knew that having a driving license is essential, so I decide to take my lessons at a driving school. AFSI provided an all-in-one service, from lessons to road test, so that I didn’t have to schedule my road test at the DMV, which is very convenient. My instructor Jamie Wright, while stern, was an excellent instructor teaching me all the driving skills not only necessary to obtain my license, but also provided useful tips that I can apply in my everyday driving. He provided constant feedback so that I knew exactly what I was doing wrong. He helped me to overcome fear that I had with driving. The feedback he provided before my road test was very insightful and it helped me to pass my road test the first time! Having a strong driving foundation is very important, Jamie did a great job helping me established that foundation. For anyone like myself where English is a second language, Jamie’s English is easy to understand. I highly recommend Jamie Wright! Don’t let the unresponsive and poor administration give you hesitation about using this service. Once in the car, the service Jamie provided was impeccable!

I dropped by the Melbourne office 5/30/2020 and talked to John who suggested we start with a two-hour session with Jamie to gauge my daughter's current driving ability to find a suitable lesson program for her. She has moderate ADHD but zero behavioral issues, very polite and respectful, all A's and B's. I gave up waiting on hold on the phone to set up the initial session so I was only able to communicate via email. All throughout June and early July, I tried to contact the office and never got one reply. Instead, I got follow-up surveys. Pretty shoddy way to do business and very disappointing for my daughter.

Fantastic experience: I messed up when I took the test the first time around. I used the car they have and, of course, it's alot more advanced than I've seen. I was confused and too nervous. But Jamie and John were patient with me and I passed the second time around. Jamie really helped out when we did the practice runs (so definitely buy an hour of practice, worth it) and when John proctored both tests he was really professional and even though he for some reason made me nervous, it's obvious he knows what he's doing and I really appreciated the fact that he came from Jacksonville to do my test. Thanks again guys, and I hope ya'll hold out for my brother and sister :)
