Negative experience: Charging $200 for driving lessons and having to wait for scheduling seems inconvenient. Your website is unclear, asking unnecessary questions like "county" to what city ? You brainstorm . Many people may not be familiar with that information. It can feel frustrating dealing with unhelpful systems.

Fantastic experience: I had a wonderful experience during my time with Widmyer. The classroom courses were very straightforward and organized. After a few years of not taking the permit test, Widmyer was still able to retrieve my records and sent them to the MVA, which saved me the time and cost of retaking the full driver’s education course. I was very grateful. Communication over email and their website was prompt and straightforward as well. I am most grateful, however, for the driving lessons, as I gained so much confidence on the road with Ms. Maggie. Ms. Maggie is truly a phenomenal teacher who gave me so much confidence and advice as a new driver with very little experience. I can’t imagine taking lessons from anyone else! I felt so much assurance from the moment I met her, during which she listened to my concerns and encouraged me to practice despite any driving anxiety I had. I was able to pass the road test with her help. I was also able to look forward to driving because of her, which was a new feeling for me. I’m truly grateful and would recommend her to any friends or family in the future. Overall, I highly recommend Widmyer and Ms. Maggie for driver’s education and driving lessons!

Fantastic experience: Awesome driving school! everyone there is kind and cooperative, I had no issues with the school. I took drivers ed class in person, teachers were great made class fun and entertaining. Had two different driving instructors both were awesome. If you get Ms Maggie as your driving instructor you’ll have an awesome time and you’ll be all set for your final driving test

Fantastic experience: I was nervous about starting classes being a man of age. Mr Smoot made the class educational and fun at the same time. He encouraged participation from everyone! Mr.Smoots classroom and behind the wheel instruction was informative and helpful in real world driving situations. I recommend this school and Mr Smoots instruction to anyone in need of lessons!

Fantastic experience: Great school that does not make you feel bad for taking classes being a little older. I had Mr.Randy for my classes and one of my drives, excellent instructor and answers any questions. My other two drives were with Ms. Maggie, she was also wonderful and helped prepare me for everything I needed to pass my Drivers test at the MVA. I would highly recommend Widmyer.

Fantastic experience: I have a daughter that struggles with severe anxiety - it was a challenge to get her to drive at all! I was worried about the in person driving lessons, but as soon as Maggie walked in with her warm smile, my daughter felt completely at ease. She actually looked forward to her sessions! Thank you Maggie for your encouragement to my shy daughter. No doubt this has helped her to succeed and we will definitely be requesting you again when my next daughter starts driving in a couple years!

Fantastic experience: I had a great experience with this driving school Mr Randy made the driving classes fun and gave us a nice laugh most of the time while still following the curriculum. He is an amazing driving instructor and a great person! Also Miss Maggie was an amazing driving instructor and helped me get my license super quick. she was very talkative and we always had fun conversations while driving!

Fantastic experience: Mrs Maggie was an amazing driving instructor! She went over the whole test with me and helped me learn to reverse into a parking spot. Mr Randy was also so great he was my teacher for the classroom portion and he was a great teacher. He made the class fun and entertaining while making sure we learned all the lessons. I wouldnt have passed my drivers test without them so THANK YOUUU!!

Fantastic experience: I went to Widmyer driving school to get my driving license and the customer service is excellent here and they are very thorough at their lessons. Scheduling a lesson for driver education is quick and easy on zoom and the classes are very enjoyable! I had Ms.Maggie as my instructor for the driving lesson portion and because she made me feel very comfortable during the drive it went by so quick and the drive was smooth and I felt so comfortable being behind the wheel! I was super relaxed and she was very patient, calm and friendly the whole 3 days! You can tell that they care a lot about you experience and they get you ready for the final test with MVA! I highly recommend the Widmyer Driving School!

Fantastic experience: I absolutely working with Ms Maggie. She was always friendly and smiling which made me super comfortable right out of the gate for my first drive. The fact that at every drive she was so easy to talk to and could chime in about any topic I threw at her made my nerves go away and made me forget I was riding with someone who was grading everything I do. She made sure I was comfortable with everything I did and helped me tweak things I wasn't 100% on. She's the best and if you get a chance to choose, go with her.

Fantastic experience: Mrs. B was an excellent drivers ed teacher. she made the class interesting and was so helpful with any questions. she was also enganging no matter how repetitive some of the subjects were. i got 100 on my final and couldnt have done it without Mrs. B!

Fantastic experience: I was not happy that MD State Law compels me to pay for driving school, but despite that I had a positive experience with Widmeyer. Miss B was an excellent classroom instructor, and my on the road instruction with Miss Maggie was wonderful. She made me very comfortable on the road, even when I was nervous about getting on the highway. It was an overall positive experience and now I am more comfortable on the road.

Positive experience: I really enjoyed my driving lessons, the instructors were kind and helpful in correcting any mistakes. Ms.Maggie was very nice to talk to and I enjoyed my drives with her.

Fantastic experience: I had the great pleasure of having Maggie as my driving instructor. She was patient and encouraging and made me feel really good about how I was doing. I was incredibly nervous about the in-car portion and kept putting it off because I wasn't confident in my skills. As an adult who is learning to drive for the first time in my forties, I was skittish and really concerned about who I was going to be in the car with. I shouldn't have worried. As soon as I mentioned my hesitancy, the receptionist said that she'd pair me with Maggie because she knew she'd put me at ease since she was great with people. She wasn't kidding! From the first time I got in the car, I knew that she would have my back and she made me feel capable and comfortable behind the wheel. I'm really glad I chose Widmyer. Thank you Maggie for being so kind and such a great coach.
