Fantastic experience: The coach is professional and well prepared. He is very patient and coached me in an organized structural way. He clearly knows the testing rules and where I would lose points after assessing my driving performance. The best part is that he gave me explicit instructions to improve my driving and trained me in the neighborhood where I would take the test. All these efforts guaranteed me to pass the exam.

Fantastic experience: Ilango is the best instructor in St Louis. It took me 4 lessons with him to pass my driving test on my first attempt. He explains everything properly, he's so calm, never shouts or makes you feel bad. He is always on time and never cancels appointments like other instructors. He's a great person overall. Fantastic experience: Hi, my name is Fanita. I am a single mom and I am 46 years old. I have been working on getting my license off and on since I was 18 years old. Recently I have been working on getting my license off and on for the past 3 years. Freedom on Wheels has not only the best prices but also the most patient driving instructor. Fantastic experience: Mr ILungo is a competent driving instructor. He is extremely gentle and down to earth human being. He has a lot of patience which he practices while teaching his students driving skills. He never loses temper and leaves no stone unturned to train his students so that they pass the driving test in first attempt. I am one of his fortunate student. Fantastic experience: ilango is great instructor. I have joined with him after having bad experience with other driving class. He is more focused on you learning driving than watching the timer which most of the other classes does. He is calm & has lot of patience and not “rude”. Please try to do a “the must pretest session” which would ease you of test anxiety and give much needed confidence. If you want to learn driving from Zero then he is the guy.

Fantastic experience: I was fortunate to have a learning experience with Ilango and could pass the test at first attempt. He focus on the fundamentals with clear and easy to understand instructions and also takes through multiple situations and tests while teaching. His mock assessment helps a lot. Fantastic experience: Ilango is a patient and dedicated driving instructor. He is extremely hard working and offers great value for the money. He gave instruction during the day, evening or night which offered a variety of real life driving conditions. Drives cover a lot of distance through city roads and highways. Hopefully he will have a finished website soon and a better system for scheduling the classes. My wife passed her exam on her first try.

Fantastic experience: Ilango is extremely professional, patient and takes time and effort to explain the maneuvers and nuances of driving in detail. Even before I enrolled for his classes, he thoroughly explained the process on phone, and I was sure I would be happy about my decision choosing him as the instructor. He was greatly helpful in identifying my areas of weaknesses and ensured I worked on them before the road test. He is an excellent teacher and is always ready to answer any questions. The mock tests with incredibly detailed instructions and feedback certainly helped to understand how the road test works and attempt it without fear. Fantastic experience: Ilango is an amazing teacher, especially because he teaches the logic behind every driving task. It took him around 5 lessons to cover the required tasks for the road test. Besides the road test, he also makes you ready for driving on a day-to-day basis. He makes sure that he is elaborate with his explanations, gives sufficient time for teaching things you are weak at and has a lot of patience which is a must for a teacher. I had some driving experience from back in India but it is different to drive here in the US. I would recommend his driving school if you are completely new at driving or even need some training for brushing up your skills.

Fantastic experience: My husband and I both took 1h lesson with Ilango to prepare for the Missouri driving test. We are from Europe and had not been driving here yet. He was very kind and drove to our home so that we could go and drive around the DMV to gain some confidence. Afterwards we passed the driving exam with his tips. Was a good decision to take lessons from him, highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: I recently was helped by Illango from Freedom on Wheels. I could tell from our initial phone conversation that I was in good hands. My situation was a little different than most, my dl had expired 5 years ago, and my current age is 45. I needed Illango to give me a little practice for I hadn't driven in over 8 years. And I also needed a car to take my driving exam in. Everything went great, Illango is a friendly, patient and knowledgeable instructor. I worked with him for one day and took the exam that same day. I passed with a exam score of 100. OYEAH!!! Thank you Illango.

Negative experience: Terrible experience wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy my advise is to get another instructor
My sincere apologies I was on vacation with family and then a personal tragedy gappened. One of my family members was admitted to hospital for a heart attack, then open heart surgery All this happened right on January 1st. It's also unfortunate that I don't have the bandwidth at this time to help me with scheduling and customer service. I have never been on vacation in a really long time and when I did, something unexpected in the form of a personal tragedy happened. As much as I wish I could have given your son classes as his birthday present, I could not. It was totally unintentional. Sometimes life gets in the way and we all are affected by unfortunate circumstances over which we have no control. While humbly requesting you to reconsider your review, we also request that a second chance be given to us. This time I am confident of being able to provide the highest level of service.
Negative experience: Worst customer service ever doesn’t reply at all !! Makes plans then doesn’t remember them!! All in all I don’t see how your even in business the absolute worst experience I’ve ever had trying to make an appt had better experiences with doctors offices getting a colonoscopy

Fantastic experience: “Freedom on Wheels”— The name says it all!! This is the BEST DRIVING SCHOOL EVER!! Iilango is a GREAT TEACHER. My instruction permit was about to expire soon, when I started taking class from him. From very 1st day he made me confident about driving!! He teaches so well, he not only tells how to do any maneuver but also makes us understand what is the logic/reason behind the maneuver, which makes things easy to understand. My friends say parallel parking is super hard..but he taught me so well that during exam I did so quickly and perfectly that examiner also appreciated me. Fantastic experience: Obtaining a driver's license can be very stressful. But with the help of expert instructors like ilango, everything can run pretty smoothly. He is well experienced instructor, he will assesed your skill and develop a plan that will benefit you. He has the cheapest rate there is, atleast in st louis. You have to book ahead of time, for him to accomodate you as his schedule is almost always full. Listen and practice whatever he teaches during your driving class. Fantastic experience: I contacted Mr Gurusamy based on excellent feedback on Facebook . Coming from India , It was the first time I drove an automatic car on the right side of the road and just in 2 full sessions with Mr Gurusamy got the required knowledge and skills and was able to clear my driving exams with very good score . Fantastic experience: Ilango is a great teacher and very patient while teaching. He made me an efficient driver in just a few classes. Although I knew driving from India, which has an opposite traffic rule, his training and driving tricks made me comfortable to drive accordingly to the US traffic rules. I was hesitant to try parallel parking, but he made me practice it such that I was able to demonstrate it very well during my driving test. His efforts and perseverance led me to pass my driving test with a score of 86 on my first attempt, itself!

Fantastic experience: Ilango is a great instructor! I had my driving lessons with him this summer, which was a wonderful experience. I started with no experience which made me a bit nervous, but Ilango was very kind and helpful. He described things in detail and encouraged me a lot, after an hour’s lesson I can even drive on the streets with some confidence. Ilango also has a high standard for driving, he will keep telling you what to improve and eventually make you behave well on the road. Unfortunately, I failed my first try because I was too nervous, but Ilango really knows how to cheer me up. He worked with me to repeat the routes on the exam and on the specific aspects which I was not good at. And finally, I passed in my second try. I would highly recommend him.
