The instructor picked her up took her for a lesson pre test, then she was ready. The pre test - lesson really was a key component. She said she felt extra prepared. The team is very professional with nervous first time drivers and from the first phone call to the road test knowledgeable and helpful. We tried 1 other school prior and although good, not great. A.C was great. Thank you!

It’s family owned & Howard & his brother Gary are truly great and caring people! They took their time, were very patient & most importantly my teen was more confident, comfortable and felt better all around! I hadn’t had much experience before taking the 5hr course, and my instructor, Anthony, really made me comfortable and confident behind the wheel. Im typically very anxious, but his calm demeanor and useful tips/corrections really worked in helping me on the road. Anthony also went out of his way to make sure I got to my road test on time when there was a scheduling error, which I really appreciated. Overall, a very good experience, and would recommend to any inexperienced drivers.

Fantastic experience: I contacted All County in regard to my niece. I explained her back story with a previous school that failed her beyond words. Howard was on board with getting my niece to pass the road test. She took a total of 15 lessons, Mike and John taught her and built her confidence. She passed her road test and now her whole world has opened to new possibilities and opportunities. A side note I was taught by Howards Grandfather, and I am so thankful I brought my niece back to where I learned. It shows that this driving school has been around a long time for a reason. Mike & Marissa are very helpful and made the entire process as fast and painless as possible. They’re professional, perfectly articulate in communication. Fantastic experience: I am 24 years old with severe driving anxiety and never took my road test/ got my license. I have tried taking private lessons over the years (East Meadow Driving School- BAD EXPERIENCE!) but nothing really seemed to help me. This past January, I decided I needed to overcome my fear, so I looked up driving schools and All County Driving School came up as a top result. I called and booked a lesson with Mike and was not disappointed! He is a great driving instructor and really knows how to make you feel comfortable behind the wheel. I took my road test for the first time 3 weeks ago and passed. I honestly don’t think I could’ve done it without Mike’s help, he is truly amazing at what he does. I took weekly lessons with Mike and he always came on time and utilized each session to the fullest, based on what I felt I needed to work on. I recommend All Country Driving School, specifically Mike, 101% to anyone, especially those with anxiety because he truly changed my life for the better!

I went to another school before this and I did not like the instructor at all!! Fantastic experience: Since I am a teacher, I was only able to take lessons on the weekend. All County was able to accommodate my schedule, so I could take my lessons on Saturdays. Since I live in Queens, and have always relied on public transportation, I had ZERO driving experience. From day one, my instructor Mike made me feel comfortable behind the wheel. Mike is an excellent instructor. His calm and pleasant demeanor is perfect for a driving instructor. He never made me feel nervous when I did something wrong, and he always gave me explicit directions on how to make corrections while driving. I took lessons with Mike almost every Saturday for 8 months. By the time I took my road test, I was well prepared, and I passed on the first try. I honestly enjoyed my lessons with Mike, he's a really nice person, a wonderful instructor, and I would whole heartedly recommend him and All Country Driving School to anyone who wanted to learn to drive, especially someone like me, who had no driving experience. Additionally, whenever I called the office and spoke to Gary and Howard (the owners), or Cinthia, the receptionist, they were always cordial and professional. A huge thank you to everyone at All County for making my driving experience such a positive one!

Fantastic experience: I had a very difficult time learning how to drive and All County made it possible for me to finally get my license. John is an excellent instructor, as are Mike and Marissa. Everyone who works here is incredibly kind and helpful, and each instructor has different ways of teaching so it is valuable to be taught by a few people. Their package prices are reasonable and they were able to accommodate me when I wanted to do the ten lesson package a second time. The cars they had me learn in are smooth running, safe, and comfortable, so I enjoyed my lessons. Thanks to All County I was able to get a car of my own and move out of state after a year and a half of living on a couch due to the COVID-19 shutdown. I am incredibly grateful to everyone here and couldn't recommend them enough! If you are a late learner like me, or feel like it is seemingly impossible to get that license, don't give up. All County will make it happen.

Fantastic experience: I had taken my road test 3 times and failed with other driving schools. They taught me nothing!!!! I took 5 lessons with Dennis and passed with flying colors. Not only is he very knowledgeable about the road but he actually cares about his students. He made me confident during driving and my road test. Was worth every dollar I spent! Only regret I have was not finding this school and Dennis sooner lol could have saved me a TON of money.

My instructor was Lonny and he was extremely calm and very talkative, which gave the lesson a much more relaxed and comfortable feel! I passed my road test on the first try and I’m 17, so I can thank Lonny and All County for that too! I highly recommend this school to anyone who needs to learn how to drive, or even just fix a few issues they have!

Fantastic experience: I have a child with special needs who has been wanting to get her license since she turned 18 but finding a driving school that would be a good fit for her took me 3 years. Finally we found all County. John was her instructor and I couldn’t ask for a better instructor. John is friendly, courteous and knowledgeable. He made my daughter’s experience amazing. My daughter also suffers from anxiety and John always made her feel confident and helped her not get stuck on her errors but learn from them. I can’t say it was easy for my daughter but John encouraged her in such a way that she gained knowledge and confidence and was able to pass. My daughter is now a New York driver and I am so grateful to John and everyone at All county driving school for all that they did to help my daughter. So if you have a child with Special Needs don’t hesitate to contact All County they do there very best to accommodate your child’s needs.

Negative experience: I’ve gathered the courage to write this review because people should be warned, especially when it comes to putting your child’s safety in a stranger’s hands. After getting behind the wheel once 5 years ago, I had my very first driving lesson with Dennis earlier this year. I was already very anxious because of my lack of driving experience. The lesson started with him forcing me to drive on a busy main road despite saying I was uncomfortable doing so. When making this lesson appointment, I was assured I would start off on quiet, side roads but fine. This should have been my first warning. He proceeded to yell at me for making mistakes or going too slow, which one would expect during someone’s first time driving. So I was already even more anxious, with this guy sitting next to me and yelling while I’m driving when he repeatedly reached over and touched me. Completely inappropriate and unacceptable. As if trying not to hit any cars or pedestrians my first time driving on a road wasn’t terrifying enough, this “instructor with years of experience” took complete advantage of someone in an already vulnerable situation. I could not stop shaking after the lesson was over and I’m even more afraid to drive again. When I tried to talk to the owners about it, I was dismissed and no one ever got back to me. This place should not be in business, if this is how they treat human beings. Maybe you can look past the disgusting, sexist remarks, the yelling, and comments about how “Covid is a hoax and everyone is just making a big deal about it”, after I just recently lost my father to the illness, this is just wrong. I was too terrified to speak up then, worried about crashing the car. Though this was painful to post, I think young women especially, need to know what may happen if you choose this business. Please be safe.

Fantastic experience: If you’re going to take your road test, I totally recommend All County. Before the test, you take lessons with them. They give you a better perspective of what the DMV requires, what they’re looking for, what you should and should not do. I failed my first road test, but the second one I passed with All County. I was prepared for my test, a little nervous but they sharpen you up, pretty straight forward. Thanks again fellas.

Due to the Pandemic I could not get my son into a Driver’s Ed class; my husband and I tried the “homeschool” method lol and went the online 5hour certificate and Dad taking him to his first road test in our car route. He was woefully unprepared and failed..... unfortunately, my husband and I as long time drivers just did NOT know/remember what DMV inspectors were Looking For and passed along some bad habits to our son. Howard was so professional and kind in dealing with both Me and my son!! He definitely put him at ease and helped him gain his confidence back behind the wheel!! Thrilled to say he passed the second road test with flying colors Thanks to Howard and A.A. All County Driving School! Highly recommend!!!

Fantastic experience: I took my daughter for (2) one-hour lessons to prep her for her road test and thank God I did!!!! Because of Covid, she had virtual driver’s ed and never drove with an instructor. Lonny, the instructor, was amazing!!!!! Not only was he polite, professional and patient but he had so many great tips to offer, which I’m convinced is the reason she passed on her first try. Money well spent!!!!!!!! Thinking about getting her a couple more lessons before she’s driving on her own.

Fantastic experience: All county driving went above and beyond during my time with them, due to the pandemic I was unable to do driver’s ed. As a result, I chose all county - an amazing decision. Within two and a half months I learned how to drive well enough to pass the road test - thanks to the great tutelage of Lonnie. Lonnie is nothing short of a spectacular teacher, he’s patient, kind, wise, and tells some great jokes in the car. All county is a great service that I’d recommend to anyone learning to drive. Positive experience: John is the best instructor. However the confusion with Howard with my lessons was a pain. Took a little while longer to get my road test with them. Additionally I asked for a receipt and they said would email it to me but never did. I had to drive all the way out to Hicksville. Overall I would recommend this place to family and friends. Fantastic experience: I just want to say thank you to John who was able to provide the most informing 1-hour lesson right before my road test! (THANKFULLY, I PASSED IT!) As some of you may know, the road test instructors can be a bit strict on whether to pass you or not... But John quickly pinpointed my weaknesses and we practiced, practiced, practiced! John also clearly explained how the road test instructor may feel from a certain gesture or action, such as what I should be doing during parallel-parking, 3-point turn, and turning left from a freeway. Once again, thank you so much John!

Fantastic experience: Great School! Professional instructors! This is the 2nd driving school and I realized the 1st school did not teach me anything. All Country Driving is a different story. My instructor John made me very comfortable and helped me conquer all my fears behind the wheel. 5h class was actually fun and time passed by very quickly (my 1st school they just turned on 5h video for us) and they provided dinner for us (pizza). It was very easy to communicate with school, they are very responsive and stayed on top of everything. Was a great experience dealing with this school!

Fantastic experience: I definitely recommend All County Driving School to anyone regardless of age or gender. I took the 5 hour class for the first time and was expecting a boring and long lecture, but after walking into the room I was greeted by Howard, my instructor and I could immediately tell that my time there was going to be rewarding and fun. The class size was small (5-6 people) and signing in and paying the $50 fee was a breeze. Howard was very knowledgeable and funny, sharing many stories and experiences. He also explained everything that we should know and remember when taking the road test, went over driving under the influence, and following road rules/signs. The class was so interested and entertained that not one phone was picked up because of boredom. He even ordered pizza for us during our break! When it's time for me to take my road test, I'm definitely going to call All County Driving School beforehand and take a lesson because of the many good things I heard from students saying how they enjoyed their time with their instructor and how they passed their road test on their first try. Thank you so much for teaching the 5 hour class, Howard! And thank you for the great experience All County Driving School.

Fantastic experience: Amazing driving school! My son had failed his road test twice and we decided to get him some additional lessons before the next one. I called them only a week for before his road test and they were so accommodating. They were able to get in 4 one hour lessons in a week including an hour before he took the test. They even took him to the test after the lesson and I am happy to report that he passed with 0 points taken off. He even perfected parallel parking which was his weak area. Thank you All County and to the Jay and John for their great instruction. Amazing job!!!!

I had the package deal (10h lessons)and really felt like I learned a lot in each lesson. They instructed in a way that was easy to understand and made me feel comfortable and enjoy driving. The 5h class was also fun. Sue taught the class and ordered pizza for us. Didn't watch a boring video, I felt engaged and listened to some stories that was tied to the lesson/subject. Fantastic experience: I brought my wife for driving lessons to All County Driving School recently after discussing prices and policies initially with the owner, Howard (and later with Gary), whom I found to be reasonable, clear and accommodating. We set up 5 lessons with Jonathan as the driving instructor, who was reassuring and professional upon meeting. My wife and I were extremely pleased with his ability to help her with all aspects of driving, and she clearly benefitted from his patient and clear instructional style. Jonathan was consistently supportive and helpful through all 5 lessons. I happened to run into him while waiting for my wife to return from her actual driving test (which she passed), and he remembered me (he was waiting for another student of his to return from their driving test) and struck up conversation. I was reminded of how humble and friendly he is. In short, I'm happy to highly recommend All County Driving School - and Jonathan - I am most certain you will be pleased with excellent results!

I had the pleasure of practicing with Jonathan, and he gave me the constructive criticism I needed, explained and demonstrated each maneuver clearly, and built up my confidence so much that I was able to nail my second attempt at the road test. Negative experience: no instructions. 1st time riding a motorcycle he threw me into 2nd and said okay turn. of course i ended up on the hill in the dirt.
