Fantastic experience: I’ve been waiting until I passed my test to write a thorough (and my first!) review and through all of it I have nothing but nice words to say for Dana Driving School. In the beginning because of scheduling I flip flopped between instructors (Tom was good, DO NOT RECOMMEND SUSAN) but as someone who was so anxious and ended up having trouble passing the test due to nervousness I HIGHLY recommend Arnold C. I was so nervous driving and had no prior experience and Arnold taught me in a way that was easy to comprehend while also being blunt in a way that was kind and wasn’t scary. He went above and beyond for me and was still helpful even after I failed the test before due to my nervousness getting the best of me! My brother and friend had Jimmy as an instructor and recommended him, but I truly don’t think I would’ve passed without Arnold’s help. The school itself also communicated with me easily and was helpful regarding scheduling/in general, and I was finally able to pass my driver’s license test! I would recommend this school to people of all ages and levels and I HIGHLY recommend Arnold! :-)

Negative experience: ZERO STARS !!!!!!!STAY AWAYYYYYYY!!!!!! SAVE YOUR MONEY AND GO somewhere else. My teenage daughter had a horrible experience yesterday. Jimmy came to our home for my daughter's first lesson. His disheveled appearance was concerning but we look beyond that. I trusted that the company would send someone reliable. This man was Condescending, Screaming and Grabbing the Wheel the WHOLE time. Jimmy was very upset that my daughter asked to stop the lesson and bring her back home after 15 mins. He made sure to tell her that the $70 would not be refunded and sped off. I have been calling the driving school since yesterday 9/6/2023! NO ONE from Management has called me back. HORRIBLE experience for a first time driver. STAY away!!! If you want a place where your loved one will feel safe behind the wheel call another driving school!!!

Fantastic experience: As someone who lacks confidence in many things, not just driving, I was pretty stuck in the mindset that I would never learn to drive nor pass my test. Thankfully, my instructor, Jimmy, was amazing. He did a great job at both easing my anxieties with his sense of humor and friendliness, as well as knowing how to explain things both simply and through metaphors when needed. Fantastic experience: I would like to start by thanking Arnold for being so patient, thorough, and professional. I was an absolute sack of nerves because I've never driven before. But Arnold made the driving classes smooth and fun. I learned so much and gained self confidence behind the wheel. I passed my test on the first try and I'm just so grateful to have had Arnold as my driving instructor.

Fantastic experience: I began driving with a lot of anxiety and insecurity as well as confusion in all of the information I needed to know. With Jimmy’s patience and ability to explain things simply and with a lot of comedy, this fear became nonexistent during our practices! He was always on time and knew how to make even complicated concepts stick. On the day of the driving test, he ensured those taking the test felt confident, and it was easy to do so having had him as a teacher!! I was able to pass on the first road test.

Fantastic experience: My experience with Dana Driving school was Superb! Top notch! Mainly because of my amazing instructor ARNOLD!! His amazing attitude, patience, and calm vibe made it so easy for me to drive and enjoy my classes tremendously. I’m happy I settled with him when I was shopping around for instructors, because he taught me sooo much in the time we had. On top of that he had unreal trust in me unlike any others and all my fears of driving on the road vanished!! He’s punctual and devoted to his job and overextends himself to make the schedule work for his students. For him it’s all about to see his students pass their road tests, make safe drivers and go out and be on their own!!! Not just to take another and another driving class with him but to make use of everything we learnt for years to come and f’course pass your test. The day of my road test he prepared me really well and calmed my nerves and guess what I “PASSED” on my first try!!! Even I wouldn’t have passed, I know he wld of been there for me helping me through my second time bcs no1 is perfect!!! But thanks G-d I did pass with the skills he taught me. Fantastic experience: My experience at Dana Driving School was fantastic, mainly because I had an amazing instructor, Arnold. I have had varying experiences with driving instructors in the past, but none of them were as thorough and patient as Arnold. He is also very kind. Arnold took special care to make sure we used every moment of our time efficiently, actively advising and directing me throughout every lesson on how to drive safely and teaching me many techniques to make the learning process easier and more enjoyable. The day of my test we drove through the area and Arnold made sure I felt prepared and that I knew what to look out for. I passed my test, of course, but I will continue to make use of the skills and techniques Arnold taught me for years to come. Thank you Dana and thank you, Arnold!

Fantastic experience: I took Arnold as an instructor and he is the right instructor to take if you want to pass first time. I remember after failing my second time from my first driving school, so I switched to Dana and was scared that I would failed my second, so I took arnold and he was the nicest and chillest driving instructor I ever took, his tips and lessons really helped and when it was the day of my test I remembered them everything he taught me, and I passed. awesome dude, totally recommend.

Fantastic experience: Took a few lessons here after bombing my first road test because I was super rusty from not driving for a couple months. Gave myself only about 3 lessons before the road test to brush up on driving again with Arnold and he got me into shape within just 2-3 days to pass the road test. Really appreciate the practice and advice I got from him to make me a much better driver than before, would reccomend him if anyone's ever taking lessons here.

Fantastic experience: Days before Dana Driving School scheduled my road test I was completely nervous. Contemplating whether or not I should cancel and wait a little longer or Reschedule. The big day comes and I was a nervous reck!!!! My instructor Arnold was a HUGE AND AN AMAZING HELP!!! He taught me things underneath a certain amount of time and never moved on to the next until I finally got it. With every piece of advice Arnold has given I am proud to say I FINALLY GOT MY LICENSE within my first try!!!!!!!! REALLY A SPECIAL THANKS TO MY BRO ARNOLD FOR ACTUALLY BELIEVING IN ME, COACHING ME, AND KEEPING MY HEAD HELD UP HIGH!!!! YOU REALLY ARE THE G.O.A.T

Negative experience: Looks like everyone who passed had Jimmy. Well my kid had Arnold. Nothing personal against him but i bought a 6 lesson package and my kid was clueless when she went for her road test. Needless to say she failed horribly. Didn’t even know what to do at an intersection. Couldn’t park for the life of her. Felt like the lessons only consisted of driving in a straight line. Anyway, I decided to take her out myself for four 30 minute lessons and she passed. Complete waste of money. Nothing against Dana but I’ll make sure never to use a driving school for my kids. It’s like a cracker jacks box. You don’t know what surprise you’re going to end up with. Parents…. We’ve been driving for many many years. Let’s take the time and teach our kids how to drive.

Fantastic experience: Dana was amazing I was late for my appointment g road test but she ended up getting me prepared for my test next week now i feel more comfortable then ever I’m gonna pass this test with ease i feel awesome today honestly she made my day with her being on the clock aswell thank you Dana so much she’s a great teacher btw best in Ontario BY FAR! And I have had plenty of other driving instructors trust me.

Fantastic experience: I called Dana driving school not knowing what to expect. I build the courage to face my fear of driving. I ve had my license for a long time but never drove due to my fears. When I met my instructor I was a bit reluctant to continue not because I didn't think she could help me but because the fear was too much. Facing my fear of driving with my instructor Mary has been the best decision I've made to be more independent. Although I could not finish my 5 classes due to family emergencies, I was confident enough to continue practicing on my own. What Mary taught me stayed with me even when she wasn't in the car with me. I highly recommend her especially if you have a fear of driving. She's tough yet kind. She wants to be sure you will learn the right way so you won't be afraid of driving. I am now driving confident and no more fear thanks to Dana driving school and my instructor Mary. J.

Fantastic experience: I had Jimmy as my driving instructor and he was absolutely amazing! I did my driving lessons with him before taking my road test and he really made me a great driver. Starting with no experience whatsoever, I now am on the roads with full confidence as Jimmy taught me to feel relaxed whenever driving in the car. He gave me lots of great tips especially with parallel parking. He is very nice and does not make you nervous when ur driving. Fantastic experience: Me and one of my friends had both failed a driving test and went to go book a lesson with Carlos and in one lessons he corrected both of our mistakes and we were able to pass it on the next try. He was so nice to exchange numbers to let us know how we did on the test, he then congratulated us. Give that man a raise!!

Fantastic experience: I booked a 4 lesson package with Dana and my instructor was Jimmy. When I tell you he was the reason I passed my test, he was the reason I passed my test. He was extremely helpful in helping me get comfortable with driving. Because of Jimmy, I was able to pass EASILY on my first attempt. If you’re thinking about booking a package with Dana, make sure you ask for Jimmy!

Negative experience: Mi experiencia con esta escuela de manejo es tan pero tan mala no la recomiendo pague mis clases de manejo por adelantado he recibido solamente 3 clases desde mas de un mes no me han llamado he llamado no responden y si responden dicen que no hay nadie en español... ademas la intructura su vocabulario es soes nada professional grita todo el tiempo .. disculpen pero estamos tratando de superar los miedos al manejar no aque nos griten ... oh que maldigan por todos lados es demasiado espero que puedan mejorar ...

Fantastic experience: I would first like to say that Jimmy was the best driving instructor ever! He is calm, talks you through everything ( each mistake and each thing you did perfectly ), and really prepares you to be a confident driver who knows more than most about the road and even about cars in general. I was hopeless and extremely anxious to drive before coming here, and 10 lessons later I took my road test and passed on the first shot! My turns, parking, and three point turns are perfect!!! I would lastly like to say that the staff at Dana Driving school are professional, organized and pleasant!

Fantastic experience: The people there were very kind and helpful anytime I had a question regarding my getting my license, or when I needed to schedule an appointment, I never had any problems with them. I had Jimmy as my instructor and he was great. When I first got my permit I was really nervous behind the wheel, but after each lesson, driving became more and more like second nature to me, and now I've passed my road test all thanks to him.

Coming into my lessons, I somewhat had a general understanding of how to drive but with her stern yet loving guidance, I grew so much! Now, I’ve become a more confident and more observant driver. Because of her, I passed my road test on my first try! She made all the seemingly intimidating maneuvers easier to fully understand & complete. Mary’s instruction will always replay in the back of my mind when I began to take the streets as a licensed driver.

Fantastic experience: I purchased the $390 package at Dana Driving School which came with 5 lessons, the 5 hour course, and the full road test service. The 5 hr course instructor William was very friendly and was a great teacher. I strongly recommend on taking Mary as a driving instructor. She is very kind and knows what she's talking about. She may raise her voice a bit, but it's because she gives firm instruction and drills the correct methods into your head so that you'll always remember them and won't make any errors. She taught me an easy method of parallel parking and 3 point turns. She had faith in me from the first lesson all the way until it was time to take my road test. I had a lot anxiety on the day of my road test but she told me I drove beautifully and not to let my nerves get to me. I passed my test with her on the first time!!

Positive experience: I highly recommend Dana Driving school and ask Flo as your instructor. She is very patient to teach you. She helped me build my confidence and be a defensive driver. Thank you so much Dana driving school and especially to Flo!

Negative experience: last year: driving professor was a woman that would yell a lot. i failed my exam last year because the instructor wanted me to practice parallel parking in a residential area the driving students from this school practice in, near a car that they knew was owned by a ravid road rager, that then proceeded to come outside his house and yell and threaten me for parking near his car... the man came incredibly close to the drivers ed vehicle and was yelling at me to exit the vehicle and cursing very loudly at me, and the driving instructor was telling me how he always harasses the students about this same issue. UM??? maybe lets not park near his car then? thanks to that situation i had a panic attack 5 minutes before my road test due to how badly this situation escalated and the instructor just kept yelling at me to get over it. i have severe anxiety and this was extremely overwhelming. but this is not the only bad instance i have had with this school. recently, i called to find out how to get a replacement 5 hr course certificate. they told me on the phone i had to go to the school with my permit to get it. i went back to the driving school today to try and get it and the woman was incredibly rude, greeted me by saying "yes???" as if "hi how are you" is so difficult. and then when i told her i needed a replacement certificate she huffed and sighed like it was such an inconvenience that she had to do her job... and then all she told me was that it was 'too busy' so she will have to call me later and find it... there was only one other person in the store. she basically told me the exact information i was given on the phone... and the other woman in the store was cranky too, yelling at another customer for making a mistake... messy customer service

Fantastic experience: I had a great experience! They always accommodated my needs and even gave me lessons after normal business hours. I would really recommend using Dana Driving school.

Fantastic experience: I recommend on taking Mary she’s a little strict and will raise her voice a bit but it’s a good thing because you can understand better and won’t do bad nxt time. She taught me a east way to parallel park. She’s good at giving a lot of tips. I had a lot anxiety on the first day when she took me out to the main road but she said I needed to push myself. I passed my test with her. Your in great hands w her and the other instructors ( my 2 friends also got the driving lessons w different teachers and passed in one go)

Fantastic experience: I had an excellent experience at Dana Driving School, from the professional and courteous manner of the office workers to the superb instructor, Mary. Mary is a tough and kind instructor who earnestly wants every student of hers to be a great driver on the road. Her instruction is direct and intense, it was exactly the push I needed to succeed on my second driving test. I had taken my first driving test after completing a series of lessons at another local driving school and the quality of instruction was immensely different. If you want to be a great driver and pass your driving test, go with Dana Driving School. Hopefully you'll be lucky enough to receive Mary as an instructor. Thank you for everything!

Fantastic experience: It was a great pleasure to have Florentina as my driving instructor. She was very patient and always helped me focus on driving maneuvers that I needed to work on. The day of the road test flow made me feel very confident and always had encouraging comments! I also highly recommend working with Natalie and would recommend Dana driving school to anyone wanting to get their drivers license.

Fantastic experience: My daughter took classes with Jimmy. We loved him. He is so patient and sweet. My daughter suffers from anxiety but she felt comfortable with Jimmy as her instructor. They took care of everything and were flexible with accommodations with time, pick up and drop off locations.

Negative experience: I would not recommend this driving school to anyone... i took the 5 hour driving package with them,.. when i was giving them my money they were all very happy and giggly.. but when i called in to make appointments to get my driving lesson.. Donna (old woman) would keep delaying by saying all the drivers are booked and i would need to wait a week or more before booking anyone.. i was really upset because this is cheating the customer... i mean if your instructors were jammed packed booked then why didnt you tell me of this before when i was giving you my money???.. i took one lesson with Mary(she was ok but did not teach me the basics and just took me out on the main road on the first day even though it was my first time sitting in the driving seat).. then i took some lessons with Jimmy(he was good,, and i learned alot from him) however, when it came time to book for the road test.. again they would keep delaying by saying their cars are not available.. i had to wait almost 3 weeks before they could get me a date for my test.. not because no date was coming but because they had no instructors available to take me... all in all bad experience... Give your hard earned money elsewhere where you will be treated with dignity..!!!

Fantastic experience: Dana's Driving School helped me get the confidence I needed to get my license & 5 hr course lesson. I was very pleased with how professional everyone there was. They were accommodating to my schedule and I would recommend them to my friends.
