Guilford Technical Community College: Reviews
Negative experience: I’m extremely disappointed with the advising at this community college. Students who have clearly demonstrated the ability to pass math or have already taken it in high school are being encouraged to retake basic math courses. Advisors mislead students by stating that these basic math credits will count toward their degree program, but this is not the case. Students still have to take higher-level math courses as part of their degree requirements, making the basic math classes a waste of time and money. This practice feels like a way to boost enrollment numbers rather than genuinely supporting students’ academic progress. This issue is particularly concerning for individuals who may not be as academically confident and are more susceptible to this kind of manipulative misrepresentation. I have spoken with several students who shared that their advisors explicitly told them these basic math credits would apply toward their degrees, only to find out later that they still needed to take more advanced math classes. These students are clearly being taken advantage of, and someone higher up in the administration needs to address this unethical practice. It’s unacceptable to mislead students, especially those who may already struggle with navigating the complexities of higher education.
Negative experience: I signed up for my spring classes only for them to drop two of my needed classes and after me spending hours of trying to get it back they tell me I didn’t do the prerequisites that I did do already and they do this the day they go on break so that I couldn’t contact anyone to fix the issue
Fantastic experience: Teeth have never felt so clean. Dental training is excellent.
Fantastic experience: Awesome school. Very accessible and the staff here want you to succeed. Im in my mid thirties and they have made the experience a very good one.
Fantastic experience: I havent had any issues while attending GTCC, mind you I started the semester when I was 6 months pregnant. The staff was so accommodating and pleasant. I had access to tutoring both in person & online and one on one assistance with navigating canvas….
Negative experience: Signed up for an online class. Once you sign up, they didn’t set expectations and randomly send you an email that looks like spam. I was looking for a meeting invite and I never got one. I needed to sign up for an email account for a two day class! Called tech support and they could not help me. Do yourself a favor and take classes somewhere else. This is too complicated! I need a refund.
Negative experience: They literally told me a week before classes started that my financial aid was suspended & I needed to pay over 1000 dollars out of pocket or my classes would be dropped . Classes start Monday today is Wednesday & I’m still waiting to see if they’ll reinstate my financial aid . In these times who would give someone such a short notice classes start in 5 days & I’m still waiting for an answer mind you I submitted the documents the same day they notified me by email .
Fantastic experience: I love this school ❤️❤️❤️
Negative experience: Hard to contact anybody. When you do contact someone, they are not helpful
Fantastic experience: Loved it here.
Fantastic experience: Love the student center! Very nice place to study. The academic advisor helped me figure out what classes I needed to take for each semester. Made it really simple! Financial aid was very helpful as well. I feel organized, thanks to them!
Negative experience: Are there classes Friday- (September 30, 2022)? Tropical Storm Ian is affecting the area, folks. Students need to know.
Negative experience: This is more of a business then a school.
Negative experience: Was told we can use the microwave inside but must leave the building to eat my lunch. It is between 30 and 40 degrees outside. Despicable of this school to make us waste our fuel to run our cars to have a warm place to eat, in the name of covid. Embarrassing time to be alive Even with the mask mandate, we can clearly see the STAFF, MASKLESS, within 6 feet talking to each other in the office. If you call them out they say they're allowed to be maskless in the office but it's really supposed to be in their personal office door closed, Alone. so why do we see them walking around in the office with no mask? You should be ashamed.
Negative experience: Visited the Jamestown Bookstore Thursday afternoon and it was excruciating! The system was down for those using financial aid (which was EVERYONE), for some reason they had the textbook sections blocked off with useless students as workers having meaningless conversations and not helping anyone. The lady scanning everything was extremely nice, but the girl checking IDs and 'assisting' her, was more into trying to figure out if I was buying supplies for myself or my daughter by unnecessarily stating 'Oh this will make a nice gift for someone'. Clearly, I am the student because I gave you my ID! I brought my daughter along to show her what the campus was like and if she must know, THE SUPPLIES WERE FOR ME! Horrible bookstore experience, my daughter actually hated the experience as well.
Negative experience: Terrible experience.
Negative experience: I love the school but who ever you have answering the phones this morning her customer service skill are terrible. She didn’t let me fully get my request out she just kept interrupting assuming she know what I was trying to say and had the answer already. Very rude and usually things like that don’t bother me but I’ve been trying to get my degree which was supposed to be mailed last year and I’m a little frustrated that she didn’t have the courtesy to even listen to what I needed.
Fantastic experience: Easy find and great teachers
Negative experience: This school isn't it. I thought maybe the disorganization and lack of knowledge from the people that are supposed to be teaching you was due to corona but from other reviews it appears to be the way the school is run. I have an instructor that isn't good for ANYTHING except inputting grades. She didn't even have a textbook for the course herself until recently. My instructor is ghetto, gets an attitude about me asking for help, and seems like she has to have the last word in any conversation. Supervisor isn't any better as I have yet to receive a response about the things I have reported to her. I paid for this class out of my own pocket and have learned next to NOTHING! Don't waste your money or time here.
Fantastic experience: Great school and great teachers. Your certification or diploma has value coming from these teachers.
Fantastic experience: Been doing law enforcement continuing ed classes here for over 25 years ,one of my favorite places to train,Great instructors , Great selection of classes to choose from and easy campus to get into and out of.
Negative experience: The nursing program here is beyond atrocious. Instructors constantly change plans at the expense of the students. The instructors are not organized. They do not have the ability to teach nursing students as they should be taught. Apply to any other program in the state. You will NOT get a quality education here.
Fantastic experience: My experiences have been very positive at GTCC. The faculty and staff i have met work hard to create a great learning environment for the students.
Fantastic experience: I've never had any issues with this school or any of their staff. Actually most of their staff has always seemed very willing to help others/students.
Fantastic experience: Culinary Arts program is great!
Negative experience: I like my professors and they teach really well but the advising staff is horrible !! so rude! I went to schedule my spring classes and the advisor had so much attitude! so unprofessional! a smile and a hello would be nice !
Positive experience: So yeah! , ....... First of all I was not there on community college business I decided to ride the city bus out and enjoyed lunch on one of picnic tables ....... I enjoyed the bus ride more.
Fantastic experience: Great campus and outstanding faculty and staff.
Fantastic experience: Great
Negative experience: staff is very unfriendly, school policies and procedures are backwards. financial aid is split into three disbursements which is the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard. The staff is not attentive and they are rude. Every time I call, the person answering the phone always has an attitude. They lost 2 copies of my transcripts and I had to go up there in person to make sure they didn’t miss place the third copy. When I was meeting with my advisor, I was sent to 4 different people who were supposed to assist me and none of them had the ability or the knowledge to do so. I have tried to get assistance from Titian Link but I guess I do not fit the demographic because they are very prolonging and hesitant to assist me. I will not be returning in the fall.
Fantastic experience: Great school! But I’d advise you NOT to take Johnson’s class for English. He has a great personality and all, but he grades just way too hard and you can never make a 100 in his class the highest you can make is a 95 because “there’s always room for improvement.”
Negative experience: I would highly recommend going anywhere else to Pursue ANY nursing degree than at GTCC. It is an unjust grading policy ... and that’s only the tip of the iceberg with what is wrong with this program. Do yourself a favor and research other programs. This may have been the less costly program but it’s not worth your time and money. Most of the first semester you teach yourself. And it’s alot of information to teach yourself. And rules and syllabus change constantly. Run away from this school. Run FAST!
Positive experience: The school itself is ok. I'm in their Aircraft Mechanic A&P program. The campus is at the Greensboro airport. Like I said, the school and program are ok. The material is pushed at a fast rate and if you fall behind from either missing school or are slow at picking up the material you may be in trouble. I understand that there is lots to cover and limited time, so I won't fault the school since its the Federal Government (FAA) that sets the curriculum. My biggest issue, and I'm not the only person with the same complaint, is that there is no discipline. What I mean by that is that some students with the mentality of 10 year old children have no consideration for other students that are trying to do classwork or study. In the computer labs while people are doing class work other students, the inconsiderate ones, are as loud as they can be. Throwing things across the room and tearing up the equipment. This semester, Fall 2018, there were several computers that were unusable due to these "kids" slamming down keyboards or pulling on the cables trying to screw around with their friends. More than one time, these same "kids" would do things like moving the security cameras or knocking on closed doors and running away to classrooms where tests were currently being administered. Overall behavior that other students or faculty should not have to deal with. I wish I could say that these "kids" are disciplined in some fashion, but the faculty often just turn their heads as if they didn't want to deal with the paperwork involved in disciplining students. I personally witnessed an event where a student asked a group of people in the research room to keep it down and he was verbally attacked by one of the individual in that group. In the parking lot after class is dismissed for the day you are likely to be ran over. Basically the behavior expressed by these individuals should not be happening in this setting and they are old enough to know better, but as I have stated they don't. If I was asked if I recommend this institution, I would say that if there was a different place to get the same education, go to the other place. Unfortunately there are limited places to get this particular program. I hope that someone who is capable of correcting the discipline issues at that campus reads this post and can correct such behavior. As for me, I hope that the new school in Charlotte opens up so I can finish my education elsewhere.
Negative experience: no good.. service from workers were blah..
Negative experience: scam
Fantastic experience: I love the massage therapist program at GTCC! Very hands on, very in depth this class will over prepare you to be successful ! One of the best directors yet who takes what he does very serious!!! If interested ask for Paul!!!!!
Negative experience: If I could give negative stars, I would. The financial aid department at GTCC consist of very uneducated, ignorant, and misleading advisers. I dropped my classes within a week due to a better opportunity and was told by Ms. Morris that I would not be responsible for any of my tuition funds. A month later I received a hefty bill for my tuition. Due to her ignorance and lying, I was forced to pay the tuition even though I did not attend those classes or any other classes at GTCC.
Negative experience: Need good Professors
Negative experience: Administration office has an attitude problem. I was told by financial aid I was approved. But now college holding it back because I can’t prove my husband worked. I keep calling every day and get put on hold for 20 to 30 minuets each time. Don’t know how any of the professors are I haven’t even gotten to a class yet because they still holding my financial aid.
Negative experience: Towards the last class with English 111 got cheated on my final exam and computer submitted my work and gave me a failing grade on the test and the course ended with a final grade of a D.
Fantastic experience: My wife graduated from their Human Services program. She loved it and hold her instructors dear. She went on to obtain her bachelors degree and stated that she was ahead of her class because of what she learned at GTCC.
Negative experience: The instructors on this campus are the worst people I have met. Nothing has been done accordingly, the syllabus has not been stuck to, the schedules are made to what works best for them and I have taught myself everything I needed to know vs my instructor teaching me. I paid out of pocket for a phlebotomy class and it has been a failure since I started. PLEASE DO NOT take this class on this campus. If I could give 0 stars I would. Waist of money. Waist of time. Trust me.
Negative experience: Not a good school for adult learners.
Positive experience: The college is ok but the middle college is a joke and not a good one it is just like any other high school forget everything they tell you.
Negative experience: I have never heard of it being so difficult to just get an transcript sent to a school.
Negative experience: The employees at the financial aid office really put us in a bad spot by telling me that our financial aid would come an entire month earlier than it actually will. I am a disabled veteran on limited income but we came out of pocket to pay for books and classes with the knowledge that we would be receiving aid money on Feb 14th only to be told that was no longer the case days before and only when I called to verify. They have shown no interest helping correct the issue that their misinformation caused, and the cashiers office employee I spoke to has laughably bad people skills and should not be working where they have contact with the students. I am positive writing this review will cause my disbursement date to be magically pushed back again, but people need to know to save their money and go elsewhere. It’s really too bad because my instructors have been wonderful.
Negative experience: I have no problem with the classes at all. It's just calling in and getting an attitude from people in the admin office and they tell you they cant tell you why you have a hold on your account because you dont have your gtcc profile up. Type in your info then tell you the reason. Pure laziness.
Negative experience: I can NOT stand GTCC. Mind you, your attitude determines your experience here ( As all colleges ) Some of the professors should NOT teach ( Some of them shouldn't even let out of the house, I digress ) I had one of the worst professors in my college career. Did not care at all about the students, gave us a study guide with nothing that was on the actual test. When you asked to get help or discuss your grade, she completed brushed you off. It's impossible to find a park close to your building ( It's in the suburbs so the campus is spread out ) Although my department ( Graphic Design/ Advertising ) was amazing, the other departments really need to get their act together. Some people flourish at Gtech, and a lot of people don't. And among other things, GTCC has continuously had the lowest graduation rate of all the community colleges in the area. 10% of students graduate. 10% of 15,000 something. Let that sink in, enroll at your own risk.
Negative experience: Welding program was awful.
Positive experience: The Bbbb,c,,zzhhhh
Negative experience: You get what you paid for. Don't take welding classes here. Waste of money
Positive experience: It can be difficult to navigate the bureaucracy involved in registration, and financial aid. In my experience it's all about the professors who teach the classes that you choose to take. Get a great teacher and you'll have a great experience, get a not-so-great teacher and well...
Positive experience: Pretty good school, but in the admissions office they often don't really know about their own job. They mix up information or leave out details that matter/make a difference (counselors in general), I'm currently waitlisted for applying my Pell grant bc an advisor told there was no extra paperwork for me to fill and turns out there was. The extra paperwork is redundant anyways but still. Just know when you come here you have to do your own research on the website or else you have a chance of being screwed.
Negative experience: These mfs don't know nothin
Negative experience: After losing a copy of a tax form and deciding they can't tell me my cost of classes because they don't know if prices will change. I can say I'm ready to be out of here. 80% of these classes don't transfer and the employees here are garbage. Good luck gtcc. Try again
Fantastic experience: Great school
Fantastic experience: I am a current student enrolled at GTCC in the Business Administration (AAS) Program. I can say without a doubt that the greater majority of faculty and staff at the college are legitimately concerned with creating a sense of cohesiveness among students as well as community. I noticed that a couple of people have made remarks in regard to their advisers, and I cannot emphasize how essential it is that you take responsibility for your actions through thorough planning! Please keep in mind that as college students we are all adults and expected to think and behave as such; procrastination hardly ever results in anything good and furthermore taking initiative is the first step to achieving your goals! I personally think it is a bit naive to assume that your adviser is there to "hold your hand" and walk you through your studies. It is critical that YOU know your program of study, understand what are your curriculum requirements, and that you take advantage of ALL the college resources. I have witnessed countless students (peers and strangers alike) who haven't experienced what GTCC has to offer solely because they have no interest in committing to being an independent. In my honest opinion, the majority of students are at fault for not taking time in order to research what is really the best path for success at the school, and instead they decide to depend on a superior to direct them to where they should be. Ultimately, this is an online-based school (although some classes are held on-campus), so it is imperative that you have a high self-discipline and you are determined. It's not a cakewalk, but let's be honest - what school have you heard of that's just "handing out degrees"?
Negative experience: They offer a lot but trying to get to talk to who you need to takes forever. And then if you finally get somebody they talk like they are about to fall asleep and don't seem like they want to help you. Also, don't waste your time trying to speak face to face with someone helpful. Last time I tried, the office person started going on about how they hate their job. The teachers I've met are usually very nice and helpful but their office people leave a lot to be desired.
Fantastic experience: I am somewhat surprised to read so many negative reviews about this school. I graduated with honors in 2014 with Web Technologies, Database Management and Computer Programming degrees. The professors and instructors were instrumental in me meeting my goals. I put in a lot of very long hours and I consulted with my teachers and the staff when I ran into problems. Not once did anyone ever say "no" to assisting me. I transferred to UNCG where I am now, and I experience on a daily basis how well GTCC prepared me for the technical component of my Information Systems major. I can only speak for what I experienced from 2011 - 2014. But, during my time there I found this to be an excellent and caring school; however, it was not an easy school just because it is a community college. If you are not willing to put in the effort, you will not be successful here. But, if you are willing to work very hard and diligently seek assistance when you need it, then this school will prepare you for the next stage of your life.
Negative experience: Terrible school, if you're thinking of sending your child or yourself here please DON'T. They don't help you, no one has any information that can help you it's honestly a waste of time and money. You're better off going to literally ANY OTHER SCHOOL. If I could give it less that one star I would!
Negative experience: Worst experience I've had with a college. I haven't found any faculty genuinely interested in their students yet. Faculty will flaunt their credentials and treat you less than what you are because 'Dr.' Is not in front of your name. For me to be PAYING for this 'education' I deserve much more respect than what I have been given. GTCC dominates the Greensboro area so I have chosen to a college further away because the treatment is better and I'm placed with professors that want to help me succeed. Not just get a pay check.
Negative experience: Worst college experience ever..
Positive experience: Too many people in one class
Positive experience: I have almost finished my second year here, it has been very troublesome unfortunately. Too many of the professors are hard to work with and unprofessional. Some classes are also unbelievably unorganized. Also, I went to go enroll for classes and the adviser decided not to show up, twice. I emailed him multiple times but he decided to ignore it. No other faculty seemed to care or have a solution either. There are good people and professional people of course, but they seemed to be outweighed by the opposite.
Positive experience: The bookstore is a joke, but most of the teachers do somewhat care. Admin is in need a serious attitude check and they need to quit being lazy. Getting my degree mailed to me was a nightmare! E-degree students should automatically have their stuff mailed to them. If a student is completely an e-degree or online student, books should be mailed regardless of financial aid and luckily they just started doing this. Online students are forgotten a lot of the time.. some rules need to change.
Positive experience: I'm currently enrolled full-time here. Besides the long hold times on the phone and the bookstore website that doesn't always have correct information, my experience has been positive. Every teacher is different so I can't speak for all of them, but I've had a few that are really great. I've also had a couple that didn't keep up with grades or offer any assistance when you're having trouble with something. It's not a terrible school, but they could do better.
Negative experience: While trying to find information, hours of operation and other information to try to apply to the school I had a very hard time, lack of help and inexperienced help. I was transferred, on hold and found that the people who couldn't help me were unwilling to point me in the right direction.
Fantastic experience: Awesome school. But remember it is school, you have to work for the grade it will not be handed you lol! Good luck future students. It is worth it in the end.
Positive experience: Need to better train staff...
Negative experience: So many racist, evangelical faculty members here who inject their xenophobic, conservative beliefs into the curriculum at every opportunity. White faculty members have no problem making racial jokes in class and mocking black students/culture. Antisemitism, Islamophobia, transphobia and hatred of "the north" runs rampant here too. I'm talking about the nursing and financial aid departments, in case anyone is wondering.
Positive experience: As a student and a previous work study in the orientation department, there is something you guys have to understand. 1st you have the option of enrolling in your classes months in advance...If you decide to wait to the last minute or go while everyone is registering for class and that is completely your fault. As an adult, you make have the decision to make whatever you want as a PRIORITY. Second, the only people waiting in line for hours to speak to the advisors are the students that come two weeks or a week before classes start...Once again this is your fault that you decided to wait that late to register for classes/speak to an advisor. Third, books are going to be expensive regardless of what school you are going to. Please go to the any other institution and let me know if there is a stagnant difference (I am sure there will not be). Lastly I saw someone post that their classes were dropped because they didn't do their financial aid...I am unsure how you thought they were charging for tuition but, whenever they set a date and say that your tuition is due--then you pay. Period. Just like if you have any other bill you pay the day it is due, that is not the college's fault whatsoever. Most of the people on here complaining are unaware of their faults and irresponsibility in enrolling to Guilford Tech. As adults take responsibility for YOUR education. GTCC is not perfect, but it is a great school and I am sorry for anyone who has encountered any bad experiences.
Negative experience: I took two classes here for the summer to transfer back to my school. Art and Geography. The Geography class was fine because it was online. The Art professor was horrible. I received a 79.85 as a final grade and he still gave me a "C". That would be okay if I actually deserved that. I had 2 "C's" the entire summer semester. The rest of my grades were 85 and above. My grades were calculated wrong and now I cannot get in touch with him or anyone else at the school. WORST mistake taking classes here. Now I'm stuck with a C in freaking ART!!!!!!!
Negative experience: So far, not so good experience, trying to enroll my son and bottle necks
Positive experience: gtcc is a pretty good school but its a community college so you get what you pay for it wont be easy you have to put in the time and the effort to make sure everything that is suppose to be done is done for you to get YOUR education. because at the end of the day its your future the school has alot of highly accredited programs and graduates are a priority in the local work places so i would recommend it for anyone who is serious about their education and is willing to put in the time and the effort!
Fantastic experience: Great school, I haven't had any major problems and any time I encountered a problem the staff was very helpful in getting it taken care of.
Positive experience: Registering for classes is always so confusing. The advisers almost never help, with an exception to maybe two. the teachers I have had have been pretty nice so far. other than that it is just "ok"
Negative experience: Enrollment and registering for classes is terrible
Positive experience: Don't call them! You are an adult now so get your butt up and actually go to the school and speak to them. Oh and if you go during busy times of the year then be prepared to wait, that is not their fault though. Grow up and learn to act responsibly you are not going to get everything handed to you over the phone anymore.... Now that I am done with my rant from reading the other comments I will continue with my own. GTCC is a very good school, when i say this I base it completely on the price and the staff. Sure I don't think their enrollment is completely stable. Though I do like it better since they have assigned everyone their own adviser, that helped a lot. Now price wise I can see others complaining about books and all. Well guess what? It is the same or worse at other colleges (depending on your classes you take) and on top of that you have a higher tuition and maybe even room and board to worry about. I don't always agree with the financial aid and I personally do not receive any because my parents claim me on their taxes still so that I can be under their insurance. But I have seen plenty of people get by great with it and I have even spoken to people who had enough for everything and then a little left over. It is income based so for each person it will be different. Speaking of books, do not go to the book store on the first or last few days. If you do you will be waiting in line for 2-3 hours. You can order your books online through the book store or you can go other places. Just check online and you can find out what books you need, as long as you use the IBN, or whatever it is called number. When you do this though also check to see if you need any of the labs (myspanishlab, myeconlab, mymathlab, ect.) This is where people mess up they pay cheap for a used book but then have to turn around and pay a lot for a new code. But if you are careful you can get everything except workbooks and such from the book store. Or if you do want to go early you can get used books from the book store itself at a cheaper price. The staff here is very nice and, as far as instructors go, are easy to get in contact with. They have office hours that no one ever seems to come to, but hey they are there! They normally have a decent email turn around policy, most seem to be two school days but some will get to you sooner. This means a lot to me because I went to a big university and came back here when I decided I did not know what I wanted anymore and didn't want to pay an arm and a leg to figure it out either. Trust me when you are in class sizes of 75-250 and the professor has multiple classes you do not get the one on one feel anymore. There is normally a line to meet with them after class and you are lucky if you get to before the next class shows up. Oh and meeting them any other time? Appointment only and it is usually very hurried on top of that. So be thankful for what you get at a place like this. I will also add that most of my professors were teaching at another school too while doing this one, or switched schools in order to be closer to their students. I've had some from UNCG, Elon, High point University, A&T, just to name a few, so you are not usually getting anything less then what you would somewhere else. I also like that they have multiple campuses, the Greensboro one is a lot closer to me personally. But yes there are less classes offered there so you have to be quick and it is smaller, it is a very nice campus though. Is GTCC a perfect school? Heck no. But I do not believe it deserves some of the comments on here. Be an adult and go in person, like someone else explained they are too busy meeting with people one on one to be bothered with your foolishness. I do like it though and am going to be a little sad to transfer from it to a University next year. Oh well though... life! Good luck with what you choose, but hey coming from a shopaholic why spend twice as much for something when you can go here and get the same dang thing?
Fantastic experience: Nice
Positive experience: My experience with GTCC so far has been just fine. Some of the reviews on here are probably from people that decide to call and call and call the campus to get advice or try to get a problem solved. Here is advice in that field, everyone is busy at the school meeting with students constantly, if you were in a meeting with one of the counselors and they stopped to answer the phone every time someone called in Im sure you would be highly upset in that situation as well. I have a one year old and got myself up to the school and had everything taken care of easily for me, enrollment, financial aid, and registration. DONT BE LAZY ABOUT YOUR EDUCATION, get up and go TO THE SCHOOL.
Negative experience: I am appalled by the admission process! I'm a new student and I advised myself! There is financial aid, but if it's your first semester they will not pay for your books. My books cost over $800!!! When you do go to the admissions office you'll get bad advice and have to make several trips. Their "Pathway to Success" module is a joke! A lot of the information, the financial aid won't help with books, is not easily accessed in the portal. The WebAdvisor tool is awful. You have to figure it out on your own and the FAQs will not help you. If your financially strapped for cash like I am, take your money and effort to a better school! I am having a severe case of buyer's remorse, but I can't do anything about it till the Spring of 2014
Negative experience: One of the worst schools in NC. GTCC is a plantation for debt slaves. This place should be called Guilford "Technically" a College. Nothing. Works. And whoever decides on those arbitrary times for when a class begins or ends, in addition to how it coordinates with the bus schedule, is a freaking moron. Gtcc got rid of the heat bus for students citing they were underutilized despite it being nauseatingly full every time I've been on it. If you have a Saturday class at GTCC and you don't drive a car you can forget it because there is no bus. You will end up paying 60 dollars a month for 4 months just to get to school. During registration I asked several times to double check that all of my paperwork was in order, after being reassured repeatedly that i'd be okay I got a letter in the mail on the last week to register saying that I was missing pg 4 from my IRS transcript which means they lost the page because I sat there and watched them rubber stamp each page. I ended up missing a whole semester because of this. No one up there knows what the hell they're doing. These high reviews with no actual review are highly suspect, probably administration so they can make their bogus college pyramid scheme look good. GO ANYWHERE BUT HERE!!
Negative experience: Try calling GTCC's main # and all you'll get is a never ending ring. No operator, no ext. options. Pretty sad.
