Fantastic experience: The drivers ed here is very in depth and wants you to understand the basics of your car and good driving safety. They teach you more than you need for your driving test so that you are prepared and usually comfortable. I took online drivers ed and I passed my permit in one test, and the first In-person lesson went very well, the instructor was good at explaining things and offered good criticism. Highly recommend

Positive experience: I really liked doing this why cuz I am an athlete and I have job so I would not be able to come everyday to class but I was able to learn and do what I need to do . But if you don’t thing you will be able to encourage yourself to do the class instead of doing other thing I don’t recommend but if you will sit down a watch the videos then it’s great for you

Fantastic experience: This was a really good experience! It allowed me (the teenage student) to progress at my own pace. I did it in ten days and I feel like the videos were set up in such a way that I retained the information well. The videos were set up in a logical order and it flowed nicely. Mr. Adam presents the information well and he's fun to listen to (I did the online course). The only thing I will note is that the final student verification question said choose one best answer and two both options were supposed to be clicked on. That and a few punctuation errors were the only problems I saw! My Mom also says that the customer service side, like when she called with some questions, was also very nice. They were friendly, easy to get a hold of, and helpful.

Fantastic experience: Enhanced driving institute is wonderful. So knowledgeable and caring about the students and making sure they understand and learn the important steps to becoming a safe driver. I have 2 kids that completed the course…1 did the -in- person course and, 1 did the zoom course and my youngest is about to start the self guided course. So we will experience all three options that are offered. We were very happy with the in-person course as well as the zoom course. BTW was also very convenient to schedule and the instructor was very helpful and patient with both my kids.

Positive experience: Great classroom curriculum that kept my son engaged. The BTW instructors are helpful and communicate well. One thing to be aware of if your child is hesitant and needs extra time is that there is a $75 fee added on if you don't get all of the (required) hours in within the year. We were trying to be careful and had forgotten that after signing the contract. We'll be more aware if we choose EDI for our other children. Overall, still recommend.

As parents we always strive to put our children first and help guide them to make the best choices they can with as much guidance as they need. Negative experience: Instructor was great but had a day job. Agree with the person on here about the hours available. My expectations of sessions while kids were in school turned out to be unreasonable. If I had other means if practice I would not have needed you. 4 hours over a year is not helpful. The whole point was to reduce anxiety, so having to get a sitter and fearing them backing out and a $75 fee was counterproductive and did not help me gain a little confidence as I had hoped. Exactly the case for my final two hours didn't want to leave my kids on mother's day, the only time available. Would not have paid for stress and hopelessness but that was not advertised. Now I owe you $75.

Fantastic experience: One of if not the best Drivers ED in Rochester

Negative experience: Once if you make the payment, things will not be in your control. If you want to schedule the feasible time, they don't let you to do that, instead you will have to take the slot given by the staff. I don't know how to drive, that's why I chose driving institute to learn perfect driving. But here, very first day my trainer asked me practice behind the wheel driving at home and then come here for the improvement. I was literally amazed after hearing these words. Cancellation policy is another secret, if you cancel your course then they're going to charge cancellation fee. This was at the time of Covid-19 beginning March 2020. All in all I was disappointed with EDI service.

Negative experience: Pretty disappointed. We held off of our next road driving instruction as COVID has been so high and one of our kids is high risk. We were 2 months past the expiration and I was told basically tough luck, you can pay again. I asked if they had any flexibility due to COVID and she said no. Pay again or don't come. Good luck!

Fantastic experience: I am just sending this message to say thanks to your company Enhanced Driving but especially to Steve. My son, after taking the exam for the seventh time has passed! We had to come back to take extra driving after Broden didn’t pass four times. The first driving session Broden had with Steve he started off by asking tell me your story…. What’s going on with you? What are you struggling with? No one had asked that to him in that way. Broden has ADHD and often struggles with many aspects of learning! He and Steve clicked and he was able to focus more on what Broden needed! With many more months of practice he finally accomplished his goal! Fantastic experience: As a graduated student I can say EDI taught me to be a safe driver and to be aware on the road. EDI really teaches you to be a proactive driver and not a reactive one. I would absolutely come here again to relearn driving if I needed to. As for the staff they are incredibly friendly and funny. But they know how to be around kids. I would 100% recommend putting your child in this class to be a driver.

Fantastic experience: EDI is top-notch! The owner, Adam, has such passion for training teens to be excellent drivers. His teaching staff connects well with the students and covers so many driving aspects and issues. When we had questions, Adam and the instructor both responded with quickness and clarity. They care about people and hold themselves to high standards. Both of my kids enjoyed the classroom instruction. Both have passed their permit tests (on the first try!). Thanks to all the resources provided to us parents, we are confidently providing driving lessons and appropriately stepping the kids through their practice driving experiences.

Fantastic experience: When we were looking for a driving school for our son, I spent a couple of months researching the available options. We ultimately chose EDI and I am very happy with the experience. Adam truly cares about not just being "good enough to pass the test" but teaching how to be a safe driver. He keeps the kids engaged through real life examples so they fully understand the "why" and not just the "what" they should be doing (some funny and others very tragic but they help drive the concepts home). Their process is well designed to reinforce these concepts in practice. Adam is very responsive to any questions so that parents are also engaged in the process. I believe this was definitely the best decision for our family and the few extra dollars that the course costs will return many times over through our son having a very solid start in his driving education.

Fantastic experience: We have just completed the Driver's ed course. I have been impressed with it all! Any time I've had a question and emailed them, they have responded quickly and efficiently. I feel the lessons for my son have been extremely thorough. I'm glad they require so many hours, 100, of behind the wheel training before getting your license. They also explain to the parents how to be good teachers to our kids as they learn to drive. And I really like how they walk parents through all of the steps required for our kids to be good drivers.

When the COVID shutdown disrupted our son's final driving lesson, Adam and his team went above and beyond to help us get back on track in order to keep our appointment for the driver's exam. The EDI team is comprised of caring instructors that are genuinely invested in their students. They were great partners in helping us as parents shape our teen into a confident and capable driver!

Fantastic experience: Three of my teens took driver's ed with Enhanced Driving Institute in based in Rochester, MN but also providing excellent service to Byron where we live. Not only was the service convenient with classes right after school at Byron High School, it was also packed with great information by the professional instructors who lead the classes. The behind-the-wheel training is also excellent. I would highly recommend EDI to everyone!

Fantastic experience: Update: My oldest especially took his EDI training to heart. He has a perfect driving record and now drives children to school. I credit his skills to what he learned at EDI. We just finished the classes for the third time--all three of my children went through this program. My oldest really took it to heart and is a very safe driver. My middle is driving all over the state this summer. My youngest passed the permit test yesterday. We originally asked for recommendations from friends and EDI was highly recommended. Now it's my turn--I highly recommend EDI. Yes, driver's education is expensive, but this is worth every penny. And the peace of mind is priceless.
