Fantastic experience: Hello! I began my journey of obtaining my cdl's by going to Milwaukee CDL Institute. I started with the permit class first, I initially went for Class B but when I finally passed the General Knowledge test, a cousin of mine encouraged me to go for Class A because there were more opportunities. He was right! I next went through hands on training for over the road and maneuvers. My hands on instructor was Halit, he is no-nonsense but positive and encouraging and make sure you know everything there is to know. He's tough but I appreciate it, he's very good at what he does! Halit as well as Kevin and Mike believed in my capabilities to be a good driver. On June 17, 2024, I successfully passed my CDL exam, I was very nervous but very determined to pass the exam the first time. I am grateful that I came across Milwaukee CDL INSTITUTE, they were the perfect school for me, they're tough, no nonsense, caring, encouraging and positive. I could not have picked a better place to train for my cdl's. If you're looking to obtain your CDL'S try Milwaukee CDL Institute you won't regret it! Fantastic experience: Milwaukee CDL Institute is a great place to come if you are trying to obtain any level of CDL. I went for my Manual Class B CDL and previously had very little manual transmission experience. The instructors are great! Very helpful, informative and patient. Ahmed and Kevin are great! Ahmed really helps with his break down the different parts of the inspections to make them more memorable and he is also very good at helping an extreme amateur understand and get the hang of driving a manual transmission truck. Kevin is very thorough with everything you need to know inside and out of the vehicles. I am very happy with the instruction I received from them. I passed my exam on my first attempt! Highly recommend Milwaukee CDL Institute!

Fantastic experience: Thanks to Milwaukee CDL Institute and my trainer, Carlos M, I am now a professional Class A license holder! I am going out into the job field feeling confident and assured of my abilities. This was a scary, yet amazing experience. I learned my natural strengths and Carlos helped me to improve on my weaknesses. He answered all of my many questions without getting frustrated or annoyed. We laughed, we had serious moments, and we celebrated the wins. The best thing I can say about Carlos is that he was everything each one of his students needed him to be!

Fantastic experience: I passed my class A cdl in just over 2.5 weeks. My instructor Benny was top class. He was fluent in his different ways of teaching so that all learning styles were accounted for. He’s a stand up guy and takes the stress and worry out of this class. I cannot recommend him or Milwaukee Cdl enough. So much so that this is the first review I have ever made online.

He truly cares about the success of his students. Jamis and Gazim are filled with patience and do great at behind the wheel training. The school over all cares about students passing, not eventually but the first time. If you study and follow instruction, there’s no reason to fail on the first try.

Milwaukee CDL Institute is by far a great Institute to attend when obtaining your Class A CDL's. The classroom Instructors showed a passion for their profession when delivering classroom instruction. They made sure to approach every lesson on CDL knowledge with enthusiasm and professional CDL expertise. The Hands-On training instructors were knowledgeable as well. They made sure to put special emphasis on road safety, for yourself and others, as a priority every single time I went behind the wheel. The office staff was amazing. Fantastic experience: From the first confirmation e-mail, to passing my drivers test, the school has been nothing but professional, supportive, and down to earth. My classroom teachers, Mike and Kevin did a fantastic job teaching us what we needed to know, and going above and beyond to ensure we went into behind the road confident. Behind the road with my instructor was also fantastic. Hands-on, in a real truck from the beginning, is a deal breaker, and the constant help and clear instruction from my trainer, Hamit, made all the difference. The test was exactly what we had been prepared to do, and I passed with flying colors. I HIGHLY recommend this school for anybody looking to obtain their CDL.

Definitely is NOT a drawn out program designed to waste your valuable time and money. The program is designed to make sure you pass the exams but please make sure to use the trainers years of real life knowledge by asking a lot of questions. I had the opportunity to train with Jimmy for the first 2 weeks, he made me feel very comfortable, confident, and gave me all the tools for success. Also had the opportunity to train with Carlos, Mohammed, and Kevin. I had to get another toolbox for all the knowledge they gave me. They each had a lot of different knowledge, advice and experiences to share with me to help me be successful after completing the program. The trainers would check in with me during my training and after I passed the exam ( my first attempt) because they genuinely care about you and your progress! A++

Positive experience: I passed my Class A CDL test over a year ago this school was ok most of the staff where helpful had a few issues with guys in my group talking while trying to learn i learned what i needed to to pass instructor Jimmy great guy great instructor taught me what i needed to passed on my first try if you're trying to get your manual try not to get james as your trainer or tester he's very unprofessional was sitting 2 hours waiting on my manual test he had forgotten all about me he seemed upset when he got there took me on my road test and failed me for no reason he lied n said I was speeding when I wasn't i drive a manual very well I was told I could come back anytime to retake the manual endorsement for $50 they lied when I came back they tried to charge me $1.000 I did get my cdl but you have to beware of certain instructors didn't have a graduation either another lie i was told they just gave me my certificate and a trophy no hat no shirt .

I paid out of pocket for this so it was very important they had the right staff, a wide selection of trucks, and a culture that made me feel professional. Milwaukee CDL Institute did all that and then some. I tested in a manual and all the knowledge required was supplied in an organized and supportive way and truck resources at my disposal. Not to mention the friendships are real Good people who you can trust. You'll be glad you chose MCDLI!

Fantastic experience: Instructors take the time and effort to ensure that each student passes their driving test in a timely manner. They start with classroom instruction, then they will bobtail until everyone in the truck is confident behind the wheel before adding a trailer. The instructors patience and driving experience helps in explaining and student understanding on where corrections need to be made while being behind the wheel.

Fantastic experience: Milwaukee CDL is the place to go for your CDL. I’m from Illinois and tried a school closer to me that didn’t have the best instructors. I enrolled in Milwaukee CDL (a 50+ minute drive from home) and both the class and hands-on training were way more involved than the other school! I got put into Leo’s hands on training class, if the other instructors are as good as Leo you’ll be set!! Leo was amazing, he taught us everything needed to pass the test, in the backing skills he knew when to help and when to let you struggle and figure it out in your way. He would joke with us but kept us all on track. I passed my exam the first time with no issues!!! Just don’t hit any curbs, Leo will be disappointed…lol

Fantastic experience: The training at Badger CDL was amazing. If you had never driven a vehicle larger than a compact car, that wouldn't matter. Their professional instructors will train you to become proficient in commercial driving regardless of previous knowledge or skillset.
