Fantastic experience: I had an anxious driver who had good skills but was nervous driving with her peers in the car. Lolita worked with her and was able to schedule her and got the job done. She made corrections as needed and also taught her parallel parking which was a bonus. I highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: Mrs. Smart was an amazing driving instructor! Immediately after I got in the car, her experience and personability was evident. She and I would have very interesting conversations during the drive, but they were never too distracting. Even more than that, she was assertive but kind when correcting me on anything I messed up on and always had sayings like "super left" and a "focus pocus turn", which kept the drives interesting and engaging. Furthermore, she has the authority to be your final exam tester, so you don't even have to take the test at the DMV. Overall, I'd highly recommend Street Smart Driving Academy.

Fantastic experience: Convenient, organized, and related well to my admittedly friendly daughter. Ms. Smart answered all my questions promptly during setup. She also communicated in a timely manner about rescheduling during the recent snow storm. Scheduling was painless because she made sure to work around my daughter's before and after school activities and the Block schedule. It really felt like she was accommodating our schedule instead of us being fit into her availability. It may work out the same in the end, but tone matters IMO. She also made sure that's all seven of the required sessions were were scheduled and kept. Whenever something came up that I thought would be a problem, she had a ready answer to guide us because she had seen it all before.

Fantastic experience: Street Smart does a fantastic job training kids to drive. After my kids started with them, I noticed an Increase in confidence and a noticeable improvement in their driving skills. With Street Smart my three teens passed their tests the first time. And my third, who just got her license this week, also did the Driver’s Ed portion through Street Smart. She knows the laws better than all of us! Street Smart also does a great job with scheduling And offer the very convenient service of picking them up and dropping them off wherever they need to be. I highly recommend this company for training people to drive and have recommended Street Smart for over six years to all my friends and students and I’ve never heard a bad report about them.

Fantastic experience: I’ll just start by saying Street Smart Driving Academy is absolutely who you want teaching your kids (or you) to drive! I was driving my son and his friend home from baseball practice when the topic of Behind the Wheel came up. I asked his friend how he liked his sessions. Instead of the expected, “they’re fine”, teenage response, he started in on how he really connected with his instructors, how much he was learning, and how he felt far more confident after just a few sessions with them. Obviously that was exactly what I was hoping for in a program so I booked with Street Smart Driving Academy. Immediately upon talking with Mrs. Smart I knew I had made the right choice. They are a family run business and they really care a great deal about making better drivers. Mrs. Smart was amazing and super helpful with the booking process. Over the course of the sessions with both Mr. and Mrs. Smart, my son felt the same as his friend. He immediately connected with Mr. and Mrs. Smart. They are both so personable and encouraging. He learned really helpful driving tips and increased both his skills and confidence. All done in a very professional but also open and welcoming learning environment. We both feel he is a better driver having completed this course through the Street Smart Driving Academy. I am so very thankful we did our Behind the Wheel Program with them!

So appreciative of the in flight lesson schedule change flexibility and just how at ease the Smart family makes these new drivers feel. Thank you again!! Our daughter is a licensed driver now thanks to Street Smart Driving Academy!! Their Behind the Wheel sessions were Covid safe (only our daughter and an instructor in the car with masks) and, as important, the instructor was super calm and patient and treated our daughter like an adult. While our daughter was initially nervous about the process, she was immediately put at ease and could just focus on the driving and learning from her instructor. We are so thankful to Street Smart Driving Academy for the safety and the ease of getting our daughter across this milestone finish line!

Fantastic experience: Our daughter just finished Behind The Wheel with Mrs. Smart and her academy. Scheduling was made easy. She provides door-to-door service as well as constructive, positive feedback to our daughter while driving; which allowed her to improve her skills. Mrs. Smart's communication is extremely transparent - there was an uncontrollable schedule slip and she immediately informed us and had us rescheduled with another instructor in her academy. She's flexible as well - we had something come up at the last minute and she quickly provided us with an alternative date/time. Mrs. Smart is cognizant that these are children who are busy with schoolwork, sports, activities (and yes, a social life) and respects everyone's time. We HIGHLY RECOMMEND Street Smart!!! I began as a really anxious driver, and left feeling so much more confident about my ability to make safe decisions in unfamiliar situations. Lolita was kind, a great communicator, and had very high standards for what makes a good driver. She is highly invested in ensuring her students leave her school with the skills necessary to be safe on the roads, and will work with you until you reach that point. Would seriously recommend this service to anyone at any level of experience.

I signed our teen up for the Teen+ program (Behind the Wheel with 3 extra lessons) and I saw noticeable improvements with every lesson. Mrs. Smart taught my daughter effective parking skills that I was not able to translate so easily to her. She had some basic road experience but Lolita was able to really work with her on becoming more road savvy and even had her parallel parking with confidence. They were always punctual and encouraging. I would highly recommend them to teen drivers and have already. Very patient and experienced drivers. I had another child driver going through a different well known driving school and it was awful. Making kids feel good on the road and building that confidence is key. Really pleased.

Lolitta was extremely communicative, kind hearted, patient, professional, and was passionately and personally invested in giving our son the highest level of driving education possible, personally tailored to his individual learning style and needs. Best of all, as the parent of a first time driver, she walked me through the entire process for the requirements necessary for him to obtain his license. I found the DMV website incredibly confusing on the requirements, especially for homeschoolers. This was as helpful for us as the parents in the process as it was for the student. Fantastic experience: IN MARCH OF 2020 I CALLED STREET SMART TO GET MY SON ON THE LIST TO START BEHIND THE WHEEL IN JUNE. I WORRIED WITH THE 'PANDEMIC' THAT THERE WOULD BE A BACK LOG AND MY CHILD WOULD NOT GET TO TAKE BEHIND THE WHEEL ON TIME. BUT STREET SMART TOOK OUR NAME AND NUMBER, CALLED ME AS WE APPROACHED JUNE, AND GOT EVERYTHING TAKEN CARE OF. MY SON LEARNED A LOT AND WE FEEL A LOT BETTER ABOUT HIS BEING A LICENSED DRIVER.
