It was a few years ago thinking about it now still gives me a rush, i was only female and rest (think there was 8 male) i came in 3rd place, good fun for sure!!!! Want to bring my friends to have another go at it!

Fantastic experience: Anderson no longer rents individual carts, but they will rent for groups of 8-15. Myself along with 8 other moms got our 16 year old sons a group rental for Christmas. It. Was. Worth it. One of the dads drove as well and he too had a blast. Anderson was professional and prompt. They had a nice sitting area with drinks and snacks for the spectators (although not good sitting while watching, just for waiting in between races). The carts are FAST and have a very low center of gravity so flipping isn’t really a concern. The boys would spin out when they took a turn too quickly but nothing scary. They had a great podium ceremony for the top three racers at the end and the boys absolutely loved it. Every single person who participates said they would do it Again. As a side note, they are very serious about their waivers for minors. If you print it out and get it notarized ahead of time MAKE SURE IT IS IN COLOR. I sent one of the notarized forms via email ahead of time and it was rejected for being in black and white. It doesn’t hurt to send it to them ahead of time to make sure you have it right before you send a minor there without your presence.

Fantastic experience: Good instructional video presentation, well organized crew, one of the best tracks we've raced on. Potential improvement is cart quality, although the carts are really good. Definitely liked the booster seat for my short stature (5'2). Overall would highly recommend.

Positive experience: Now I don’t see a need to give a poor review when I wasn’t able to race, y’all need to fix your website for when you have private events. My dad and I took a trip to the track knowing there was an event going on until 5pm (the hours were open until 8pm). When you guys decide to have the track closed for the remaining time that has been advertised as open hours make sure to say on the website “no rentals” or “closed for a private event all day” don’t put on the website “closed for a private event until 5pm.” I doubt I will have a chance to get down to this track for a while since I’m not from the area, I hope this helps with fixing the wording to make it the clearest.

Negative experience: I’m writing this review for a couple months back, of when I went. I believe it was around October. The guy who was in charged of getting your car if it got stuck was rude, he was upset because he had to keep getting the car. When clearly it’s his job to do so, so why get upset. I got the chance to meet the owners All the women were really nice. The old man was the only rude one. It is on the pricey side specially since it’s only for 10 minutes.

Negative experience: This company is horrible! Do not give your money to them! In September of 2019 we paid for both our kids under 16 to have what was described as a ONE TIME fee, teaching and training course to get their "licence". Now that Covid restrictions are lowered, we went to register for a go cart session and were told that they changed computer systems and lost anyone that was "licensed" prior to June of 2020. Therefore we would need to pay again the $200 to take the training class and obtain a new license! When I protested that this was not our fault, they responded that anyone who has not used the park in a year would have to retest anyway. Even if this had not been a Covid year, we were told this training fee was a one time requirement for driving evaluation, not an ongoing scam. In addition we had gift vouchers from family that are registered and that they do have in their system, that we can not use without addition investment. Do not trust your kids or your money with this company.

Fantastic experience: A few years late on this review but we wanted to make sure to give praise where it is due, we took our staff out for a company outing at Andersen RacePark and had an absolute blast, it was a great break from the tough weeks and was some fun competition for the whole staff. Highly recommended for a team building event.

Positive experience: Out here for vacation and tried calling for a week with no answer. Looks like a nice track, should hire someone to answer the dam phone. Spent my money elsewhere, see ya.. Edit: stopped in today just to see if anyone was there, turns out they had been evacuated due to some levy breach... the track looked pretty rad and the people we talked to were professional. Bummed out we couldn't run the track. Changing my review to 3 stars only because we didnt get to run the karts. Definitely looking forward to coming back and running the track...

Fantastic experience: Hands down the best Go Karting around at an affordable price. The staff is awesome, and extremely helpful as well. The Go Karts are extremely fast and they provide all the protective gear to keep you safe. I would highly recommend anyone looking to race to give them a visit.

Fantastic experience: This place is AWESOME!! Great for beginners or "Pro's". The whole family can enjoy, as long as the younger kids take their training/safety course prior. If you haven't been, you have to try it. You will not be disappointed. Make a reservation.

Fantastic experience: I've debated getting back into racing for many years, but didn't know where to start, as all of today's go-kart tracks are fun-only courses that feel nothing like a real racing course. Andersen Racepark is the real deal. The track is challenging and boasts a great straightaway where you can get some good speed and plenty of technical twists leading up to it. The track is also in great condition with no divots or potholes. The N35 rental karts are plenty fast for a beginner or someone looking to re-tune their driving skills after many years off. The karts are just fast enough to make you consider braking and cornering speeds, but not so fast a beginner will feel insecure. The karts are also in great shape. It's clear that Andersen's staff takes good care of them. Also, several karts have GoPro mounts for filming your sessions. I loved it so much, I signed up for a one-on-one coaching session this week. I'll update my review with feedback on this offering. Edit: I just finished my first-ever racing lesson with Andersen. It was far better than expected. Matt spent 1.5 hours of his day on the track with me and in session debriefs showing me how to use the track to my advantage and maximizing my driving lines. It was a wonderful experience and extremely beneficial. I shaved over a second off my time in just three sessions. I plan to go back several times to continue honing my skills with passing courses and more in the near future. Well worth the $150.

Negative experience: Fun place if you’re racing. If you’re watching, you might be getting eaten alive. They clearly have a pest problem near the main doors out to the track that needs taken care of. I sprayed bug spray and still got a ridiculous number of bites. I personally would not go back.

Fantastic experience: I've actually been a local customer there since I was 9. Rarely failed to disappoint me with the track itself, and the times it did was something out of their control. Edit: I also forgot to mention this place is the absolute BEST if you bring your own personal karts! Staff are quite friendly, and it gets better once you meet more people that do race at the track once in a while.

Fantastic experience: You won't find a better track with more knowledgeable staff in Florida. Some of the best kept grounds and staff are determined to help you complete your goals whether just for fun or improving your skill. Definitely worth the price over any regular go karting place.

Fantastic experience: One of the coolest experiences I've ever had. I've always dreamed of racing as a hobby. I've always thought it would be one of the coolest things to get into, but where do you start? Here, actually. This is where you go to learn the basics of racing technique in a safer, more accessible environment. To be sure, this isn't your 10-year-olds go-karts, either. These things get up to a ridiculous top speed, made to feel even faster by your proximity to the track and the open chassis. Powering through turns and struggling against the G's is just a phenomenal experience. It's truly exhilarating to fight against your own time and navigate the presence of others on the track, and man if you even manage to pass somebody you feel like the fastest guy around. As a newcomer to racing, this was exactly what I needed to know that this hobby is for me. I can't wait to delve deeper into it. Experience aside, the employees at the facility were exceptional. They took care of us, explained the track and the techniques to shave off our time. The facility is clean, heck even the snack bar prices are reasonable. Beyond all that, the facility manager sent me an email about a lost handkerchief, understanding how important it was to me. I hope you take the dive into a racing experience and head out to there to see what it's really like.

Positive experience: I liked it a lot, and we had a great time, it just lacks a bit of maintenance on the track, it has a lot of bumps and for motorcycles it is uncomfortable and a bit risky ,,, but its workers are great Me gustó mucho, y la pasamos muy bien, solo le falta un poco de mantenimiento en la pista, tiene muchos baches y para las motocicletas es incómodo y un poco arriesgado, pero sus trabajadores son geniales

Fantastic experience: From the moment you enter the front door, you can feel the professionalism. The staff are friendly and extremely knowledgeable. Without asking, I received an informal briefing on the equipment (the different carts) and a thorough briefing on the 0.6 mile road course. The facility is clean and family friendly. All ages will feel welcome here. There's a pro shop with race suits and swag, a snack bar, and a racing themed game room with a racing vehicle simulator. If the N35 carts aren't fast enough for you, there are about 4 other faster classes. I'm joining their club because I can't resist. Open to the public.

Fantastic experience: My first time here was so much fun. I always would pass it but never stopped in. Finally a buddy wanted to go for his birthday. We both had a blast. The carts were really well maintained. Wait times were not bad at all. They offer helmets and socks but you can bring your own as we did. They have seating inside and out as well as a viewing tower next to the track. Staff was friendly and knowledgable. It was 60 dollars for 3 ten minute sessions which isnt bad at all. I will be going back for sure!

After few visits, their like a family to us. You can have you on garage here, or they will store your kart here. Greate place for events and birthday parties.

Fantastic experience: We had a fantastic experience here with the friendly and helpful staff, nice facilities, challenging track and well prepped karts, and flexibility with their hours and schedule. I definitely recommend their kids instruction course as it provided a great mixture of track and classroom time to teach important concepts on turning, braking, and the fastest and safest lines. Matt, Neil, and the whole crew there do a very nice job and are true race enthusiasts.

Fantastic experience: We went here tonight with a company function and I have to say, in the 5 years I have lived here in Florida this was the absolute best time! I plan on going back with my family. The employees were the best. funny, nice, and knowledgeable. I would love to work here part time if it wasn’t so far. Looking forward to my next race! It’s the first company function I have been to where no one talked about work we were all too busy racing and competing.

Negative experience: Almost died in a ball of flames using their rental karts. 3rd degree burns on 30% of my body and a shattered elbow. Airlifted to the hospital. Staff still can't tell me why my kart exploded while I was leading a race going down a straightaway. Still dealing with the injuries now. EDIT: When Andersen staff is questioned about my incident, they're now spreading lies and slandering to try to absolve themselves of blame. They said "I was running around for laps with my shirt drenched in gasoline" which is a stone cold lie. Unbelievable. Don't give your money to these wicked people.

Fantastic experience: There are karting places almost everywhere you go. What I like most about Anderson racepark is the track configuration and the staff. The track requires some technical skills to be competitive and fun for those who aren't. There is a feeling of legitimacy related to the ties in the professional circuit. Staff are personable, knowledgeable and are genuinely helpful. Varies from friendly tips, helpful reminders to one on one or small group coaching. My track time went from an average of 61 with occasional 60's to 59's and occasional 58's. Doesn't sound like much, however if you have been on the track you know how significant that is. Thank you Anderson racepark for your hard work and investment you have put into making this a great experience.

Negative experience: If your 12 or 13 you have to take a class on wendays that cost 100 for 3 weeks

What makes this place extra special is unlike other high speed go cart places they dont make you sign up for license. Which adds on a BS costs. This place just charges you per heat, nice and simple. Negative experience: Awful used to hold group events here. Not anymore. Used to refer friends here, not anymore staff are incompetent and negligent don't care if you bump or spin people out. So go and play bumper cars if you want to pay an absurd amount money to get ripped off. You get a crappy safety neck braces that don't even Velcro (somebody say lawsuit) karts have misalignment issues and some karts are faster than others. I have been to 3 driving schools (spring mountain, Mercedes self defense, etc) and 2 gokarting schools and have raced motocross my life and this place is a joke. Avoid at all costs. If you want to do a deal karting track go to Jim Russell Karting school, the track is wayyyy better than this hillbilly track.

Fantastic experience: Attended a networking event here and it was a blast! The property is in really good shape and the staff was friendly and helpful, even when I crashed hard and needed help getting back on the track. The karts felt fast to me and the track was well kept-up. The street signage is small so keep your eyes open when you're getting close. I got a free voucher for a return trip at the event I attended and I'm trying to go back soon!

See your times displayed in the waiting area, and online when you sign up at the kiosk. This is the real deal for those who want a top quality racing experience. They offer classes, and instruction for those wishing to really cut sown those lap times.

Fantastic experience: Very Nice! I was there yesterday and the staff was very nice and helpful and didn't yell at me when I spun out but instead would give me helpful pointers on how to race better. I was there to take the private lesson. EDIT: July 8, 2017. I was there today and my review still is exactly what I think. The staff are very friendly. I have never had any problems with the rental karts. They have recently gotten new rental karts. Still 5 star!

Multiple time visitor and whether you are going by yourself to improve your track time or with a group of friends to see who's the fastest or a team building exercise this race park will not disappoint. As you walk in the door your greeted by racing memorabilia and a friendly staff. The office is also connected to the bay so you immediately get the feeling of an authentic racing experience. The karts are fast as you improve you will probably max the kart out on the back end of the track. That being said the staff is extremely helpful in giving pointers and helping you improve overall. Would recommend to all.

Positive experience: The karts are way faster than most ! I thought it was really fun , even though you only get 15 min for 30$ I'd still do it again . The track is kinda short but drifting around the corners and getting faster every time makes it better

Fantastic experience: It's a great track to compete with friends, it's long and professional, they change the track configuration up every once in a while to keep it challenging. Be sure to call ahead though, there are always special events or whether that can change the schedule.

Fantastic experience: If you are a road racer or wannabe like me, this is the place to go in the bay area. On 41 just off 275 near Ellenton, Palmetto, and Bradenton. Friendly staff, great little track, easy show-up-and-drive rental karts by the 15-minute session. Note: not really for kids unless they're training. $25/session. Just go!

Fantastic experience: This place offers medium powered karts on a professional quality karting track. The karts are fairly quick and will challenge all but experienced kart racers. And for those racers they offer leagues and high competition events. A must-do for motor enthusiasts in the Tampa Bay area
