As a beginner—this was my very first time riding a motorcycle (I’ve been a backseat passenger for over 40 years!)—I was understandably nervous. But John, my instructor, made all the difference. John provided personalized guidance every step of the way, and his patience and expertise helped me gain the confidence I needed to succeed. Fantastic experience: Five Star was great at helping me get back into riding. After a six year hiatus from riding I wanted to get legal endorsement. Kim and John are both fantastic instructors that are great at explaining and training the course curriculum in a concise manner. Even though the course is comprised exclusively of low speed parking lot drills I still had fun practicing and performing the maneuvers.

They're not kidding when they tell you if you can ride a bicycle you can learn a motorcycle!

Both of them are fantastic teachers and effectively point out mistakes while simultaneously providing the knowledge to correct them. I feel much more confident on a motorcycle now and would highly recommend this course whether you are looking to get your M2 endorsement or already have it and want to become a better rider. There is a lifetimes worth of info to keep you safe as a rider and/or motorist in general in this course. 5 Stars and well worth the $255. Thank you John and Josh K!

Fantastic experience: Finished up my Basic Rider course with this organization earlier today and walked away with my motorcycle license. Josh D was our coach. Fantastic experience: First off shoutout Joshua and Nate. I really appreciate the effort they put in and also how simple they made it for me to learn the basics of riding. Nate is clearly very experienced and comfortable with riding and his confidence helped me feel more comfortable. Josh is very good at explaining the exercises and helping if there is any confusion. Sometimes it seemed he was a bit frustrated with us but it’s understandable. The whole time the vibe is serious but fun at the same time. I had only watched videos prior to this so no actual experience and now I feel good with the basics of riding but I still need to practice what i’ve learned as it’s only the basics course. The best price around and a very good experience. Thanks!

When on the training course it was all business, and conducted with honesty and care to develop your riding skills. I highly recommend the course from Five Star. Fantastic experience: Five Star was recommended to me by a friend who took the class last year with her sons. This class was perfect! With the help of David and the beautiful Kim, I went from knowing zero about riding a bike to successfully passing the skills test and getting my license. They explained every exercise, did an instructor demo prior to us trying them, and gave each of us individual feedback after every attempt. The skills were layered in a way that created a natural progression through the levels. Kim also made it a point to choose an appropriate bike for my stature so I would be successful. I highly recommend this group for rider skills. The process at DMV was also very efficient thanks to them. I gave the clerk the Five Star class completion document and they gave me a new license (Virginia).

Fantastic experience: Great experience. Staff were very knowledgeable and precise with instructions. Facility excelled in educating new riders and experienced riders as well. I’ve ridden half my life and gained so much from this course. As a rider, there was a lot of technical skills I didn’t know nor was I aware of. I put my knowledge aside and ditched my bad habits & learned a lot. I will pursue the next level course to hone my skills further because of the great instructors.

Fantastic experience: Recently took the MSF course with Kim and her son, Hunter. Both were incredibly professional and did a wonderful job! They really were incredible instructors! It was a class of 10 but they made a diligent effort to frequently have 1 on 1 conversations with each of the course attendees during each and every exercise to show us how to improve, what to do differently and went out of their way to explain the same thing multiple times, in multiple different ways so everyone could wrap their head around body and vehicle mechanics regardless of individual learning styles and progression. I've taken a few classes on multiple different hobbies and none of them have ever been this personable. It felt like you were being taught by very knowledgeable friends that had your best interest at heart, especially when it comes to your personal saftey, progression and achievement. My wife and I had purchased bikes months ago and she took her BRC course in October. She has been riding since and gave me a few attempts on her bike as its a lower CC than my new R7. Before attending this BRC, I was nervous, not very confident and frankly, a bit scared to ride her bike. After I took the BRC I was significantly more confident and capable to the point I hoped on my wifes ninja 400 the day we finished the class and no longer felt intimidated, overwhelmed and inherently unsafe. It was quite frankly a night and day difference. After driving my wifes bike around the neighborhood and realizing how dramatically different my experience was, I went over a peptalk Hunter gave me during the course and found the courage to take my R7 out for its very first drive that day also! Everyones mileage will vary but I climbed ontop of a 689cc supersport and while the newbie issues are still there, I felt confident I had the skill-set, knowledge and confidence to safley drive around my neighborhood. I even took it a step further by pulling onto a nearby bypass road with mild traffic and higher speeds to test myself and did not once find myself uncomfortable or overwhelmed despite going significantly higher speeds than presented in the course.

Fantastic experience: BRC is a really amazing course for both new riders and "experienced" riders that have never had any formal instruction on riding. I have quite a bit of time on a bike and found out a lot of bad habits I didn't know I had. I was in a small class and John was our only instructor and did an amazing job. I was struggling with one specific technique and John not only coached me through the technical aspect of it but the mental aspect as well once he could tell I was getting frustrated with myself. Highly recommend for both experienced and inexperienced riders alike

He is an expert on his field and exceptional teacher for beginners. He seeks to expand his expertise attending additional motorcycle schools like the ones offered by Yamaha. Amazing school and amazing instructor.

Hunter was a great instructor providing gentle and constructive critiques of what we did while helping us formulate strategy’s to improve. It really genuinely felt like he wanted us to succeed and we did with his guidance. Our whole class passed the test at the end and will now have licenses to join the riders already on the road. Class was fun, challenging, and easy to see my own growth throughout! Highly recommend even if you are just curious about motorcycles as it is a lot of fun.

Fantastic experience: I took the Brc class with Nathan. It was my first time on a motorcycle and Nathan was an amazing instructor. He was patient and made sure that the fundamentals were learned properly to make the rest of the class easier.
