Negative experience: I had the same problem like one of the comments here. They cancelled me the road test and now I can’t contact , the phone it’s not working and it say that the location is permanent closed .. this is happened at the location at 233st, I had no answers from any of their locations. I sent an email , I called and nothing!! It’s anyone in the same problem?? Where I can report it!!??

Negative experience: This place is closed on the Internet it appears that it is open and it is a lie. We waited for more than 30 minutes for them to open and no one came to open the establishment. I don't know why they lie about opening hours.

Negative experience: paid for some classes yonkers location and i call to get my next class and no one answers did this company go out of business because gates are closed and the bronx office no one answers

Negative experience: I’m experiencing the worst from this school. Paid for 10 lessons at $549.00, for my son on 10/11/23 and he only got 1 lesson on 10/19/23. He was to be picked up on 10/20/23, and also supposed to attend a 5 hour class on Saturday, 10/21/23, but received a Email that it was cancelled. I have been trying to contact the school since and no reply. Drove by the school and it’s closed. Did anyone have any clue about what’s happening with this driving school?

Negative experience: I started right after covid. Very unhappy every time it was a new instructor and a new car. Each lessons was spread out over a month apart. As a beginner I think it should have been at least once a week to get use to driving. The day of the road test the instructor tells me I was going to fail because I didn't have enough lessons together. I just didn't like the way I was treated. Maybe it was because it was after covid. The lessons was so far and in-between that my 5hrs certificate expired. So I have to start all over.

Fantastic experience: I was so excited to receive the call from Willy, my instructor at ON Time Driving School congratulating me for passing my road test. Actually I did not know the result until he told me since it's earlier than 6pm when the results are said to be officially posted. This is not my 1st time taking the test, but to be honest, I believe all the efforts that I need to make are worthy in order to become a well-prepared driver. Willy went above and beyond to help me keep refining my driving skills. Before starting the lesson, he checked my previous test report to figure out what we should focus on practicing and make plans to help me fully understand and get the skills. I believe if more instructors do the same as he did, there could be much higher passing rate in NY. He is very flexible in teaching, instead of training me the way he may think the best, he trained me based on what I have learned and felt comfortable with in order to minimize the confusion, and his guidance are always on the spot, easy to understand and get. This is an incredible journey for me. and I give all the credits to Willy. Thank you very much for your dedicated help. I also would like to thank Carmen, the receptionist at Yonkers Location. very sweet and warm, she does a very nice job. Highly Highly recommend them.

Negative experience: This is the worst driving school. My son failed the driving test twice! He learned nothing. A total waste of money. He requested to have the same instructor for each lesson so he could get to know him since driving is personal and the instructor would then know his strengths and weaknesses. They totally disregarded his request and not only sent some random instructor he never met he never showed up “On Time” and my son would refuse to take the lesson. When he called to complain On Time school would tell him that their instructors are always busy doing other things and they never knew when they were going to show up to work! After my son failed the test he told them his issues with the instructors and that he deserved some free lessons they gave him 1 for free and then RAISED their price on the other lessons! They are a fraud. Don’t waste your money at this place that doesn’t care about you. Your beautiful kids deserve better!!

Fantastic experience: I would definitely recommend this driving school to anyone who is ready to start driving. The pricing is very affordable. Rocco was patient, down to earth and understanding. He was able to help me deal with my nervousness &anxiety from not driving for a while which helped me gain confidence to pass my road test on the first try. He's definitely thorough with each lesson as well making you feel comfortable driving while giving you great tips and techniques to help you pass your road test.

Negative experience: The instructor was highly unprofessional and inappropriate. He decided to stop teaching me things after a few classes and I had to find another school. I highly recommend to look elsewhere, specially if you are a woman.

Fantastic experience: I'm taking my lessons but so far every teacher has been kind and patient-Yasmin is the GREATEST and actually able to DEAL with anxiety rather than the 'just relax' I got from other schools. Even their SECRETARY is amazing!!! Escarlie was able to find time in my too busy schedule even when I was asking for lessons only days away- that woman is a miracle worker!!!

Fantastic experience: I had gone to a horrible driving school prior to this and I didn’t think I would be able to find anything worth the price after it. I found this driving school and I loved it!!! The instructors are so down to earth and professional. They also teach you everything you need to know really well. If I could pick any driving school to go to, this one would be it!

Negative experience: This is a review of Kelvin the instructor. He is an extremely rude person and I would never take a driving lesson with him. I had a lesson scheduled for this morning that I received a reminder for two days prior. 15 minutes after my scheduled time, I call him and he is laughing on the phone saying that the lesson was canceled (even though I received no notice of this whatsoever). When I began to ask why he hung up on me. Extremely unprofessional and I will never be taking a lesson with him.

Negative experience: I kept trying to schedule classes for more than two weeks and they kept telling me that they were full every single time I called. They tell you to pay for the package you want before giving you any information. They also charge you a fee if you want a refund. What a rip-off

Negative experience: Call today to buy a package and send all my information never got contacted back so I called again and the lady said she needed 20 minutes to create my student account then she will call me back she never called back that says a lot about this driving school. Definitely won’t be buying no package from here

Negative experience: The receptionist is nasty. And rude. I called to see pricing. I pressed the wrong extension and I thought it was the first nice girl I spoke to and it wasn’t. She responded by saying “idk what you’re talking about? You didn’t talk to me, ANYWAYYSS” and when I ask her did she just say that she confidently said “yes I did” I hung up tried to call for the other girl again and the same rude girl answers and says “it’s still me, the rude girl” and that’s the introduction to your business. I will no longer be taking lessons with this school after that.

Fantastic experience: Riddled with anxiety, my journey to getting a driver’s license wasn’t an average one. I spent a good amount of time learning the most from Jose, Gabby and Robert, all of which were wonderful to talk to, patient and very knowledgable. I also had the privilege of learning from Jason and Omareo toward the end of my journey to passing my road test. Learning from all of them, I am now fully confident in my driving abilities - a complete 180 from when I first started taking lessons - and find driving to be very fun. You won’t find such professional, understanding, calm, communicative and personable driving instructors anywhere else. Aside from occasional long wait times on the phone upwards 20 to 30 minutes and (rarely an) unanswered/unreturned calls, the receptionists are straight forward and accommodating to the best of their abilities. I couldn’t recommend them enough AND at great pricing too! Thank you to everyone at On Time.

Fantastic experience: For the most part I appreciated the the instructors and the simplistic bits of help. Granted I came in with bits of experience but failed my first time around a while back. JC was with me my first couple lessons, then gabby my last few right before test! Both really good in their own way. Gabby had his experience and JC has his. It shows in their teaching. Appointments were always met, and digital comm. was consistent. I came in having my 5 hour already so they added an extra lesson in my package as substitute PASSED this time Lol & Everything went smoothly as far as the any interaction. Thanks guys!

Fantastic experience: On Time Driving School helped me gain confidence and skills being new to driving. Willy and Roy taught me the most skills that helped me passed my road test the first time. If you want to learn how to drive my recommendation is to learn with On Time Driving School. Take enough lessons to feel the most comfortable before taking the road test, this is what helped me.

Fantastic experience: For someone who used to be SO terrified of driving, I passed my road test on the first try yesterday thanks to On Time Driving School! They are very good at what they do. From the instructors, to the teachers of the 5 hour class, and the guy at the Yonkers office who always helped me book and reschedule appointments, I had a good experience with them. I had Mildred as my instructor and she literally helped me with all my driving skills and knew exactly where I should do my road test to pass the first time ( Strang Ave!!!). I highly recommend this driving school if you want to get over your fear of driving and pass the road test the first time. Thank you On Time Driving School!

Fantastic experience: I had a car accident back in 2018, I was not the one driving, my mom was. However, I went through a time of fear and trauma when it came to driving. I was afraid of driving and all the stress that came with learning how to drive. I finally found the courage to start learning, and I came across this school. When I say I recommend this school, I say it for you to actually call and book your lessons. I was treated with respect, they respected what I had went through in the past. They helped me overcome my fear, and become what I am today, a confident driver. Still learning but very aware. The day of my road test, I was extremely nervous. I didn't feel ready enough, and the guy who took me (Jose) made me feel prepared. Later that day after the long talks of motivation, I found out that I had past my road test, on the first try. One of the best days of my life.

Negative experience: Called to the office in Yonkers to encounter the worst customer service ever in my life. Not professionalism at all, plus lied to me about a service requested. Do not waste your time calling. They hire people just to hold a chair and not to do their job.

He is very knowledgeable, has different teaching styles in which he accommodates what works for YOU and still following the rules and regulations, he makes you feel comfortable and gives you confidence in your driving. I also had Anthony for 1 of my lessons and he was awesome. I recommend on time driving school for everyone. First tome drivers, nervous drivers people that had some kind of trauma and need to get over it. Prices are reasonable they work with you. Today I passed my road test and is all thanks to my instructor could not have done it without.
