Positive experience: I'm glad I chose Revolution Driving School; I started from never having drove in my life to passing the road test within 6 months. My instructors were Diego, Shannon & Antonio in Queens. All three of them had different teaching styles, but I was heartened by the emphasis on roadway safety that their instructing emphasized. Now more than ever, its important that new drivers are conscious about all who are using the street. Would definitely recommend Revolution for new drivers out there!

Fantastic experience: I took the 5h road test package with Revolution Driving School. They made it so easy, from registration with office to road test appointment, this experience was great. I had my 5h lessons in Queens with Diego. Diego was an outstanding instructor, he made you feel so comfortable behind the wheel. Is knowledge is incredible, and he gives you the best tips for the road test. He is extremely patient and cheerful. Diego make you gain confidence in your driving, perfect your skills, and give you guidance for the road test. He went above and beyond to give you the best driving skills and make sure you pass your test successfully. And it worked! I had wonderful 5h training lesson with Diego. Diego is a 5 stars instructor, and I would recommend him to everyone that want a stress-free experience, learn safe and confident driving skill as well as get ready for your road test. Fantastic experience: I have been driving with Revolution Driving for some time now and being a very timid and nervous driver I didn’t feel confident taking my test until i started driving with Antonio. Antonio is very thorough with his instructions and most importantly Antonio makes you a very confident driver. His disposition is very calm and relaxed and he does routines with you over and over again until you have mastered and or feel confident to drive independently. I just took my test, had an hour practice before the test and I passed, all thanks to Antonio.

Fantastic experience: I had 12 or 13 lessons with RDS before I took my road test. Passed it on my first attempt. I had classes with 2 instructors: Shannon and Diego. Both are great. They were friendly and helpful. I'm not from the US originally and never had a lot of experience with cars, so I asked them a bunch of pretty basic questions about cars and driving in the US (like 'how to pump gas' or 'how does car insurance work'). They kindly explained every little detail to me and gave me some useful tips for my maneuvers. Erica and Ivelisse from the office were very accommodating and helpful as well. They replied to texts promptly and provided great service. Totally recommend that school.

Fantastic experience: I’d highly recommend this school if you’re learning to drive! I’m 22 and decided to get my license this year and I took around 16 lessons before passing my road test first try. I had multiple instructors here but the majority of my lessons were done with Shannon who was very knowledgeable and thorough both about driving techniques as well as the road test itself. He does drills on everything that is needed to succeed so even if he isn’t your regular instructor, if you have a lesson with him you will get a good idea of what you need to work on. The office staff were very kind and flexible to changes with my schedule which I greatly appreciated. I will likely be back for highway lessons in the near future. Remember to be patient with yourself, be open to advice, and take your time!

Negative experience: Before buying a package I spoke with Erika to confirm that the lessons would be in Astoria. I also stressed the need to not have lessons spaced far apart and my two days availability during the week. After confirming I bought the package and had to constantly reject lessons that were scheduled on any day but the days I asked for. Also one lesson was in LIC which didn't make sense to me. I eventually had to take a day off work for a one hour lesson as it was getting too close to the day of the test. I was told that there was a note with my availability and because she/they couldn't remember this I had my 2nd lesson nearly 3 weeks after the first. Diego has to be one of their worst instructors and I've only met two so that's saying something. I had him for my 2nd lesson which had been scheduled so far from the first that is basically forgotten everything. He kept suggesting I cancel the class if I was not up to driving. Classes are non refundable and the test was in a week so no I was not going to cancel. I messed up on the parallel parking and we never did it again. Spent most of the lesson just driving and received no feedback until I asked if I did one turn properly but other than that nothing. I felt like my lesson, day, time, money had been wasted. The only redeeming quality of this place is Shannon. I had him as an instructor for my first and last lesson. I will admit I was very scared and uncomfortable driving but by the end of the first lesson I was comfortable. For the last lesson we had to use most of that time trying to get to Ridgewood for the exam and at one point we just switched seats because it was difficult to get. So although I was able to relearn how to parallel park and get comfortable driving I was not able to have my full hour lesson and that's not really his fault. I would recommend Shannon as an instructor but I absolutely can't say I would recommend Driving Revolution Astoria.

They both have different styles while achieving the goal of making one an effecient, safe, and cognizant driver. Additionally, Erica is amazing and extremely helpful. I highly recommend Revolution.

Fantastic experience: I had a really phenomenal experience here! I learned how to drive abroad, but haven’t done so in years and finally wanted my license in the US for a vacation requiring some driving the next month. So I wanted a few lessons and go straight for the road test within less than one month... Erica was amazing in arranging all my lessons and accommodating my timeline, shuffling things on multiple occasions to give me the best schedule possible. My instructor Shannon was an absolute professional. After a few rides I felt my confidence in driving come back and I passed the test without a hitch. He walked me through everything I was tested on, and well beyond to be prepared for any scenario on the road. It was a pleasure !

He tells you what you did, and how to make it better and makes you do it again til you get it right. He is Super welcoming. Honestly I would 10000% recommend this school just because how Antiono teaches! & how well the school communicates with you via text and email. I passed my road test and can take his guidance with me on to the streets.

Negative experience: Positive experiences with instructors but the school is very inconsistent with scheduling. Finishing my 3 highway classes has taken two months longer than expected because they cancelled on me four times... including once without any notice. Feels unfair because they have a policy that students lose the class if they cancel with less than 24 hours notice. They have very limited weekend availability so I’ve lost a lot of my paid time off and have had to cancel/ reschedule many work obligations to make time for these classes.

Antonio was excellent with great attention to detail, an unflappable, easy going approach that exudes confidence. He gave me a lot of really great tips that not only helped me pass my test, but I will continue to use for many years to come.

I also had never driven in an urban area and the idea of parallel parking was . I took many lessons with Antonio, who is a complete pro and got me back into the groove, and helped me pass my road test on the first try. During each lesson, he made sure that I practiced everything that the road test would evaluate me on (turns, stop signs, parallel parking, three point turns). If I didn’t execute something properly, I would repeat it to fix the mistake, which I found really helpful as a newbie driver. He is extremely patient and positive, and is very clear as a teacher. If we got into a sticky situation during a lesson (like getting stuck behind an ambulance, or dealing with other drivers not following the rules of the road), he was quick to take control and get us out safely. I always felt very safe during my lessons. The office staff are also super helpful in scheduling lessons, and sending lesson/road test reminders. Appreciated the professionalism from Princess and Antonio was a fantastic instructor in Long Island City. The only drawback (which is really a positive) is that they are so good that it can be hard to get on the calendar in the near future, especially for weekend lessons.

Fantastic experience: If you want to learn how to drive, this school is a 10/10. Ask for Antonio; he will definitely teach you things that will help you be a better driver. At first I was concerned about the money, but I realized that you get what you pay for. The other driving school I went to didn't teach me all I needed to know to be a good driver and I never learned anything as a result. But Antonio is patient and will make you feel comfortable behind the wheel. Passed my road test on June 26th thanks to him. You won't be disappointed going to this school. Definitely need more instructors like him.

Fantastic experience: Ok, I never drove after I got my license 10 years ago and I’m moving in a month to suburb where I have to drive mostly. I called Revolution Queens office, Princess explained all the details patiently and always informed me ahead if there’s any open lessons for me to take besides my package I purchased since I need to practice as much as I can. My instructor were Antonio and Ryong, they both really good, patient and responsible. Antonio is so encouraging and always try to teach me extra tips to improve my skills. Ryong is calm but solid to instruct me through out the lessons. I enjoyed my journey with both instructors and Princess (she is so kind...). I can confidently recommend Revolution (Queens) to all the people I know.

Fantastic experience: I relocated to NY and needed to get local driving license. The Revolution Driving School was easy to find (used google). Their website was easy to navigate. The staff (Princess) is super helpful and helped to find the best package for me. I went for 60 minutes + road test. The instructor (Ryong) is very professional - calm, experienced, quickly identified areas for improvement. Best driving school!

Fantastic experience: Regardless if you are a new or intermediate driver, I would highly recommend booking your classes with Antonio. He is an excellent instructor, who provides you clear instructions on how to improve any areas you may struggle on. More importantly, he keeps a good list of these areas and makes sure that a portion of each subsequent class is focused on practicing them. Before you even take your test, you would become more confident in your driving and have a good framework in dealing with road situations (even difficult scenarios that happen infrequently). The investment and time I spent with him was well worth it.

Fantastic experience: Had a great experience learning here with Antonio. Definitely try to book lessons with him if you can, as the other instructor here is too quiet and shy when it comes to giving helpful feedback imo. Nice guy but I paid a premium for this school to get a great teacher. Honestly I didn’t feel like I was getting my money’s worth until I finally learned with Antonio. Antonio changed my driving and confidence around it within a couple days right before my road test. He’s a super positive guy with really common sense advice, warm positivity and detailed feedback on what you’re doing. He’s a really genuine dude who cuts the BS and helped build my intuition around driving. He’s a natural teacher and I hope to do more lessons with him in the future even after getting my license

Fantastic experience: I got bragging rights having gone to this school. if you aint at revolution you ain't in the right school. the instructors are phenomenal, patient, they don't treat me like im a noob they TRUST me to learn and be in a learning state and teach me everything I needed to pass on the first try. I'm so greatful no other school like them. Customer service is through the roof amazing and friendly staff. Antonio didn't hesitate to let me know both what I was doing right and wrong and instead of stopping the car and giving me the verbal lecture (wasting my driving time) he replaced it with directional correction on the road with articulate explanations. It was a bang for my buck. I went from NO EXPERIENCE DRIVING to LICENSE ON MY FIRST TRY! LIKE C'MON get your classes ! don't be prideful. Classes from an experienced DRIVING INSTRUCTOR at resolution driving school >>>> we drove in real areas from busy traffic, bikers, pedestrian to commercial with trucks and narrow 2ways. Don't short your education you deserve quality education here at revolution. Period

Fantastic experience: After having traumatizing experiences in vehicles in earlier years, I held off on getting my license for many years. Finally I committed to revolution driving school and I passed my road test on my first try after not having driven for over 15 years. Antonio, my instructor, played no small part in this. His presence was calming and reassuring, while his directions were clear and concise. This, combined, with Antonio's positive attitude and demeanor I found myself looking forward to the lessons and can earnestly say the results would not have been the same had I worked with any other instructor.

Great instructor! I was always really bad at parallel parking but with Antonio's guidance I was able to pass the test and actually learn how to parallel park!

Fantastic experience: Since moving to the USA 4 years ago, I hadn't driven at all, and was extremely nervous about driving around NYC. I had a lesson with Antonio the day before my road test, and a lesson right before, and with his help passed first go! He is really good at identifying the student's key weaknesses when it comes to driving, and making sure they're under control before the test.
