Negative experience: I had a very bad experience with this school, and Instructor Ray is the worst person I have ever met! His English is very hard to understand, and he kept shouting at me the entire time during my lesson. I even had to tell him to stop yelling at me more than five times in a 45-minute lesson! He was also very unprofessional and disgusting. My first impression of him was seeing him sitting in the car with a toothpick in his mouth very unprofessional. Also the manager couldn’t fix the problem, which meant I had to pay again just to change to a new instructor. And yes! I spent $180, and I still didn’t pass the road test with this school. I highly recommend going somewhere else and avoiding this unprofessional school. trust me!

And Mr.wu understood that, he made me feel so comfortable and fold me how it was without sugar coating, which really helped. He made sure i was ready for the test making time for me to practice! I just got my license on my first try and i honestly couldn’t have thanked Wu enough. I cherished our drives Wu thank you so much for everything.

Fantastic experience: Victory Driving School was easy to schedule driving lessons at convenient times and location. They ask if you have prior driving experience to tailor to your needs (recommended amount of lessons to take). Make sure you have passed the written portion and have a copy of your driver's permit. I was glad I got instructor Ray and in my first lesson, I already got hands-on experience to drive safely and responsibly on the road with clear instructions (I was really slow). Instructor Ray is experienced and somehow, while teaching, he can still point out bad driving habits to not follow and to avoid paying for ticket violations. At the end of each lesson, recommendations are given. Go to each lesson prepared and build on the recommendations given at the last lesson. I learned how to drive during the winter season which was not the easiest. On the day of your test, your instructor will drive you to and from the testing site. I passed my drivers' test on the first try and will definitely be going back for lessons on how to drive on the highways.

Fantastic experience: Absolutely amazing school I wouldn't have been able to passed my road testing without the guidance and patience the instructor exhibited with me. The classes were affordable and booking them was simple and had a wide range of days and times so very flexible. I highly recommend them and have had several other friends take their classes here and gained their license. After gaining my license I've take more classes to get well versed in highway driving as well. 10/10 the instructor was the best I could ask for thank you to everyone working there making the experience so easy and pleasant.

Fantastic experience: I recently passed my driving exam with Victory Driving. I highly recommend their services. Scheduling classes was cost effective and easy. They even sent me text remainders before each class. It was very easy to fit classes into my schedule as long as I called a week beforehand. My instructor was fantastic. At first we took baby steps while practicing driving. Eventually he helped me develop the confidence I needed to do more complex maneuvers. I was really struggling to nail parallel parking down, but he was patient with me and whispered words of encouragement. He did a good job of making sure we focused on my weaknesses during each lesson. I was nervous on the exam day but the practice I did was effective. After just three classes with Ray, I passed the test smoothly. I live in Allston, and Ray picked me up at Super 88 Market for each class, which I really appreciated.

Negative experience: With my personal experience… took 5 to 6 classes which did not help and then took 2 classes with other driving school which is based out of Quincy but mostly operates in and around jfk… whatever I did not learnt in victory driving I learnt from other driving school in 2 hours… when it comes to road test, they are more demanding and even though we pass by our own they will ask us to pay more money saying they did hint while giving road test which is not acceptable and not required… very bad experience thru out the journey starting from learning to road test…improve your communication please and don’t demand for more money… be transparent and expect for what you did not more…

Negative experience: Don’t go here!! The manager is very irresponsible and blame the customer on everything, attacking you personally without proper communications to actually solve problems. They didn’t list the school policy online, and then later informed you they would cancel and blame you for violating their “policy”. They also asked you to accommodate their pick-up locations with last-minute adjustment which is very confusing. You called them 8 times between 16:45 and 17:00, their office hour to address one controversial situation with the coach, the manager didn’t pick up the call but dodged responsibilities and lied that I called off working hours, which can be traced back to the phone records. One word: Run!

Negative experience: I took two classes here one instructor was great then another instructor Mr. wung i believe spent more time flirting with me than teaching me how to drive the whole 90 minutes he was just talking about everything but me driving and asking repeatedly if I had a boyfriend . Negative experience: DO NOT USE THEM. I have been driving for 30 years and hold driving licenses in the UK and other countries. I moved to the US so now need a US driving licence. I could not take my test on my car because the hand brake is a pedal, not a hand bar the examiner can access so I had to get a driving school to lend me one of their vehicles and get one of their drivers to be my sponsor. Since I wanted to handle their vehicle prior my test, I also wanted to take a lesson beforehand. I was dazzled by the positive reviews they have on Google so I decided to contact them despite me living 18 miles away. If you read them carefully, some reviews are left by people who are pleased about passing the road test, not necessarily about the service they received from this school. Other are left by people that I have a feeling are either friends with the school staff or are paid to leave good reviews. Either way, none reflect the ordeal the customer has to endure by dealing with such an unprofessional company. Let’s go from the start: 1. You cannot make bookings online. Their website doesn’t allow for that. Instead, you have to phone or email. 2. I dealt with a woman on the phone who is not only in charge of the office phone but also of sending/receiving SMSs. There cannot be anyone more rude and useless in the position of receptionist/secretary/customer service than this person. She provided all the information with regard to payment methods and guess what? NONE work. Since one cannot pay online, I thought phone payments are ok. Nope. They don’t take cards, only Zelle payments or checks, or cash. But they push HARD for cash. I sent a check on Sept 1st and they hadn’t even checked their mail a day before my road test (on Sept 14th) so they called me to threaten to cancel the sponsorship I needed during my test if I didn’t pay immediately. When I said I had evidence of having mailed the check and it should have reached them 2-3 days after I sent it, she hung up and called me back moments later to say no one had gone through the mail but she found it just there and then. 3. I arrived to their address for my practice lesson, as scheduled, looked for the office but only found a smoke shop at that address. I asked the man selling e-cigarrets if there was a driving school nearby and he pointed at a side door next to the shop entrance. I knocked for a while without reply and eventually a woman came out, closed the door behind her and asked me what I wanted. I told her and she said I’d be getting a text with instructions. She went back in and left me outside. I got a text saying my instructor would be a person named Wu and he/she only accepted payment in cash, directly handed to them on the day. I texted instructor Wu and he picked me up on time. Turns out I could not understand a word Mr Wu was uttering, he might be a wonderful instructor to students who speak his language but English language skills, he has not. I cannot believe he can get away with that, bearing in mind effective communication is crucial during driving lessons. I struggled to understand his directions, which were the only thing he said, very occasionally, in between long periods of silence during which his eyes barely left his cellphone screen. A positive was his punctuality. 4. The vehicle: a Toyota Corolla, a little battered and dirty inside but otherwise fit for my endeavour. 5. Mr Wu “drove” another student and me to the Braintree RMV but really he was more like flying. I could not believe how reckless and daring he was on the road, his speed, his nonchalant attitude. We did arrive safe and sound for the test, which went smoothly. I passed and that was it. Or so I thought. Keep reading my next post.

Fantastic experience: I successfully completed my road test on my first try today, and I owe it all to Instructor Ray. He is an incredibly supportive and composed teacher who provided me with comprehensive instruction during five lessons.

Negative experience: I had one lesson with Victory Driving School a year ago and I still don't have my license. Why? Because Mr. Wu made me terrified of the road. I told him I didn't have driving experience, yet he still made me drive on the highway for that first lesson. We went to a parking lot so I could practice my turns and he started going on about how I could kill someone and their kids with the way I was driving (again, this was my first time ever behind the wheel). I ended up bursting into tears and he acted like it was my fault. He also was on the phone with food stamps, and thought the best way to show me how to park on a hill was through a youtube video while he made his calls. I ended up abandoning the idea of driving because of the traumatic experience with Mr. Wu.

Fantastic experience: I passed the road test exam! Thanks to Professor Wu who taught me throughout lesson! Also, thank you Professor Ray who drove me to the road test rmv! Women who at the front desk is so nice and helpful! She helped me with all the documents and booking a road test! Overall, was a great experience both learning and road test! I will recommend my friends here for sure! I had a bad experience with another school before that they book an appointment for road test when you are not ready but they still want you to go because of money. As well as appointment at 8 am but it was a private section that I have to wait until your turn which I waited for 3 hours. It was $130! But with victory driving school, the road test fee is only $100 and the Professor picked you up at your choice of location and the road test was with RMV with no waiting at all. You go to the appointment time and you did the test and done! No waiting at all!

Positive experience: I passed my practical exam at Braintree RMV. My instructor was WU, he's amazing! I had no experience before I signed up for victory driving school driving classes and was so afraid to drive on the real road, now I successfully got my license after several classes with the instructor, WU, unfortunately I had a bad experience with another instructor from the same school who is CHEN he yelled at me and was very rude very rude I did not like how he treated me he made me cry and after 10 minutes I left class that person should not be in the driving school his English is very difficult, I explained to him that my English is not good and that he must be patient, unfortunately that made him more angry and it was very rude that at first they DO NOT take driving lessons with the instructor CHEN, the secretary of the school is a wonderful person that I try to solve the problem and I was able to take my classes again with WU Thank you for everything WU, your classes were excellent to pass my exam.

Fantastic experience: The office lady was super nice. She helped me with scheduling politely. I had 12 lessons(6times,2 lessons at a time) with Instructor Ray in chinatown. If you have not any experiences before I recommend to take around 16 lessons(8times). Instructor Ray was super nice, helpful and skilled. He taught me everything I need to pass a road test. He was calm and never got rude. He used the time very effectively. I feel like he’s trying very hard to help me to pass the road test and also save my time and money! I passed my road test first time at Braintree rmv. It was a super nice experience! I strongly recommend it!

Fantastic experience: My experience at Victory Driving school was dramatically enhanced when I had the honor to meet and learn with Instructor Wong. This man was able to teach me more than multiple instructors I’ve had before him in a significantly shorter amount of time. If he hasn’t already received it Mr. Wong deserves much praise for his hard work and dedication to his craft and most of all his loyalty to Victory driving school. If you ever consider going to this driving school make sure you specifically ask for instructor Wong because I guarantee you will not be disappointed.

Fantastic experience: Instructor Wong is the MVP (Most Valuable Player) or even the GOAT (Greatest of All Time). I have been holding off getting my license for a long time and I even failed my road test once with a different school. Wong is one of the most calmest instructors I have ever had. The feedback you receive is amazing. You need an instructor like Wong that gives good feedback, so that you can learn the most safest way. For my first road test with a different driving school, I failed on the parallel parking part. Wong was able to teach me the 1,2,3 method. Which is turning all the way to the right, then back up straight, then turning to the left. When you are practicing on parallel parking with Wong, ask him to show you the 1,2,3 method. We also spent multiple lessons practicing on cone parking, this was valuable and helped me pass my road test since they had cones. When booking a lesson, ask for Wong. By the time you read my review, Wong will be one of the most asked instructors at Victory Driving School.

Fantastic experience: My instructor Chen was outstanding he was very patient and gave clear and direct instructions. I feel way more confident after my lesson with him

Negative experience: I usually don't write reviews, but I had to write this one due to the bad service I experienced. The instructor has poor communication skill and patience. I found it really hard to understand him, and I think I didn't learn much from him.
