Negative experience: I had a driver instructor who I think is named Travis was extremely rude to me when I went there. He called me out on the littlest things and made up fake rules. This place is pricy and unprofessional. DONT GO HERE!!!

Negative experience: The instructor whos name is along jeco he is a white bald man with glasses and has an accent, he said hes from south africa. He was very rude and had a HUGE ego, talked to me and my family during the driving yesterday review. Throughout the drivers test itself he was mumbling under his breath very rude comments on the driving, he was also shaking his head while saying rude comments and laughing during the drive. He also did not care about student safety as the road conditions were not well for a inexperienced driver. The nice instructor greyson stated he could check the route for bad conditions but jeco or whatever his name is refused as there wasnt enough time (we had arrived more than 30 minutes early). The instructor also did not allow for me to properly adjust my mirrors. Please check this instructor! Im not the only one who experienced this as multiple other people who I know personally had the same experience with the SAME instructor. If you do take your test at this location ensure the instructor is not who I an referring too as he is a horrible instructor and is very very rude and egotistical.

Fantastic experience: David and Robert were exceptionally kind and helpful to my son who was anxious while he took the test. They were not rushed nor impatient with the many questions we had and they were clearly dedicated to him passing and gaining the confidence he needed. Highly satisfied and appreciative of them at Greenwood Village.

Negative experience: I have been waiting a week and a half to receive the email certificate I need to get my license. Nobody is answering the phone or returning my voicemail. Also their test administrator was a condescending prick

Fantastic experience: Had a great experience with the school and Jonathan in particular is one of the nicest individuals who was my instructor at driving test. He made sure the driver is calm and provides feedback in a manner which is beneficial. Will definitely recommend this place

David is doing a fantastic job at this location. Our drive instructors were professional and did a great job building a relationship with our teenage driver. They helped put the initial nerves at ease.

Fantastic experience: 2nd child in Drive Safe. Fantastic company and experience overall, but I will say not all locations are equal. David at Greenwood Village restored my jaded opinion of Drive Safe that had come through poor experiences at another location. He was super attentive, helpful and clearly cared. Highly recommend THIS LOCATION.

Negative experience: Kind of shady. The DMV is formed me that I would need to take a physical driving test to transfer from out of state. I booked it and paid the $99. The DMV then apologized and informed me this was not the case so I called to get a refund. The guy on the phone (seemed reasonable) said he would “submit”. It’s been 3 weeks. With not communication back. I understand that a refund wouldn’t be applicable for someone who took the test but I didn’t even need to.

Fantastic experience: This place is amazing! The instructors were all fantastic and prepared me so well for my license test, which I just passed less than an hour ago. The staff were also extremely helpful and kind, going above and beyond to resolve an issue that took quite a bit of time. I had to take one of my driving lessons at a different location, and unfortunately, they didn’t sync the information to my account, so I essentially "lost" a two-hour lesson. But after a lot of communication between the two locations, they managed to track down my paperwork and get it in the system. Without their help, I would’ve had to wait at least two months to schedule another lesson, take an extra lesson, and reschedule both my license test and DMV appointment. I'm incredibly grateful for everything they've done to ensure I became a safe and well-prepared driver!

Negative experience: Buyer Beware! They are selling packages that they can't honor and once you purchase, there are no resolutions for you when you can't book what you purchased. We made the mistake of buying the permit class with the driving lessons. In over a year, we have not been able to book the driving lessons. There are never appointments through the online system at any location. They put you on a waitlist for all locations and you get a text when something opens up, but there's never an option available when the text comes in. I've regularly checked online as I was advised for the next schedule to come out and can't ever find an appointment at any location within an hour of the location we took the permit class. Called to find out if that could be rolled over for the driving test instead since my child is now far outside of the age that the driving lessons are required, since we've never been able to get these scheduled. Nope. Non-refundable and non-transferable. Even worse was the lack of customer service or understanding of the frustration by Andrea Gonzalez, who I unfortunately had to talk to (even though I called a different location). Not once did she even attempt to find any open appointments to fulfill this or offer any kind of solution, she was just snarky and rude. Please spare yourself the nightmare and go somewhere else!

Fantastic experience: As an adult driver with anxiety, I couldn't have asked for a better experience! First & foremost, everyone there is so kind and you can tell they really care about what they do. I signed up for 6 hours of lessons prior to taking my test. My instructors were Michael & Chris and they were both fantastic! They were both so patient with me and explained everything so thoroughly that I feel so much more confident on the road. I took my test with Travis, who was also so wonderful to work with. He really helped in keeping me calm & I passed first try! I was treated with such kindness and respect through every step of the way. I highly recommend this school for lessons, especially if you're an adult driver! Thank you Drive Safe!!

Fantastic experience: This location is amazing! They always worked with us to accommodate my daughter’s busy schedule. She forgot her permit on the day of her drive test and they called us an hour later with a cancellation and got her in! A miracle. Thank you.

Fantastic experience: Amazing location for DriveSafe. We attended a Denver based class but one of my kids on an IEP needed additional support and their staff made arrangements to work with him directly to understand the content and was ultimately able to pass the test!

My daughter went to take her test and from the moment we walked in everyone was so lovely (which helped ease my daughter’s anxiety). I asked who the manager was so Dave, please know your staff is so kind and helpful. Traci was so helpful as I needed some extra help and info. She does this all day and was still kind and patient. And my daughter just left with Jonathan for her drive test! I am sure it will go well but having someone as kind as Jonathan helped her relax. Thank you!

Fantastic experience: You know who is absolutely FIVE STAR AWESOME?! Traci and Robert at Greenwood Village DriveSafe Driving School! They spent at LEAST an hour with me last week, thoroughly and kindly explaining each and every step for obtaining my Colorado license. I am an adult from out-of-state with many years of driving experience, but they helped me understand WHAT I would need and HOW best to get everything done quickly. While I was there, I witnessed them both calmly working with teenagers and their parents, as well as a sweet elderly couple. PEOPLE are what make a business successful! Thank you Traci and Robert!

Negative experience: Zero stars if i could. My girlfriend was told her appointment was at 11:30, yet they claimed it was 11:00 when we arrived. The driving test itself wasn’t bad, but boy they gotta hire some new instructors. Rude, condescending, and blaming us for being “late”, even though we were told a different time. Fantastic experience: I needed to get my CO license after moving countries, and the folks at DriveSafe made it absolutely a breeze! I had a fantastic lesson with JZ, who made sure I knew all of the little things that I might have missed as an experienced driver, and then a fantastic test with Alicia who made sure I was calm the whole time! Traci and Dave in the office kept things all running smoothly, and I was able to get things done within a week! I can't recommend DriveSafe enough!

Fantastic experience: I had an amazing experience at DriveSafe Greenwood Village! Tuesday the 3rd I had a 2 hour lesson with Grayson who could not have been more helpful preparing me for my test. It was a drive 3, so we ended up on the highway and eventually downtown. On the way back he even showed me a cool road that overlooked all of downtown! Today, the 5th I took my drive test. I do not know the instructors name but she made me very comfortable and had clear verbal/hand gestures to direct me during the test. Thank you for such a seamless and comfortable experience DriveSafe Greenwood!

Fantastic experience: Everyone in the office at Greenwood Village was amazing!!! From our first interaction with Traci checking in our son to Jonathan as his tester for his drivers license. The atmosphere made him feel very comfortable and even handed him material to read over for some tips on the driving test. The whole experience was amazing!!

Fantastic experience: I had an appointment today at DriveSafe in Greenwood Village. It is not an area that I am familiar with but I needed my license fast and they had the earliest availability. I was nervous coming in because I had taken a test with American Academy and had an absolutely terrible experience. Their tester Gary yelled and talked through the whole thing which he is not supposed to do. He did not tell me why I failed and insisted that I pay them for lessons. My experience with DriveSafe was the refreshing opposite. The person who welcomed me when I came in was super sweet and my tester Randy was very patient and experienced. I took a one hour refresher lesson with him so I could get to know the area and the car that I would drive during the test. Randy was calm the whole time and gave me clear and thorough instructions and explained what he would be looking for during the test. He easily eased my anxiety and I passed my test! Even the other students and parents were very friendly. My friend and her 3 brothers all took classes with DriveSafe and passed on their first attempt. She had recommended DriveSafe to me after the disaster at American Academy and I am so glad I followed her advice. The drivers are kind and professional and I recommend them for drivers of all ages. I am not a teenager and they treated me just as well as the 16 year olds. Additionally, they have Spanish speaking drivers for people who need it. They may be more expensive but they are worth it. The test was $114 here, but I would have paid more with American Academy because their test is $85 and then $55 for a retest and if you read their reviews they try to fail people on the first attempt to get more money with the discounted second test, which adds up to $140 and is more expensive than DriveSafe overall. DriveSafe WANTS you to pass and I do not know anyone who failed with them. After the test, Randy clearly explained the pass/fail process and things I did incorrect on the test. Overall it was a super great experience and I recommend them 100%. My sister will be taking classes and her test here after my excellent experience.

Negative experience: I paid for a package with 2 hours of driving lessons and a driver’s test for my son. The driving tester was rude and failed him and he didn’t even do the road test!! What the heck is that about. He didn’t get a chance to drive and he failed him. Not sure what kind of racket this is, but don’t waste your money in Greenwood Village Drive Safe. This tester’s reviews suck. He intimated my son for no reason and didn’t even let him drive. I am not happy and this is not over. No one took my call or returned my message. I will take further action if I don’t hear from these people. This was by no means ethical. I paid for a service that was not completed. How do you grade this driving test when there was no driving??

In the practice session she observed my mistakes & Quickly she said what are they and that’s it I have recovered those I was so confident and comfortable with her and I recommend drive safe to everyone. Negative experience: Drive Safe is the worst experience you could have for paying $1100 dollars for these courses. You have to schedule months in advance to get your 2 hour drives in......we had 2 of the 5 drives cancelled by Drive Safe only to be told "sorry". They didn't try to help reschedule in any way or make any sort of accomodation, simply you go back in the pool and try again. It is absurd the lack of effort, customer service and basic decency this business has. Now I am just hoping my son passes because if the instruction is as bad as the customer service we could be done for!

Negative experience: Had to cancel a driving lesson we've waited months to get & was charged a $50 fee for canceling the appointment 21 hours in advance instead of 24 hours in advance. I get the policy but come on man. Disappointed.

Negative experience: I took our au pair to take her driver's license test at this location yesterday. We showed up 1-2 minutes early, but her instructor was rude from the moment we walked in telling us "we run a tight ship here." To note: he never gave me his name, but worked from the desk by the window to the right when you walk in and spoke with an accent. Upon picking my au pair up afterwards, this 24 year old that is getting her Master's Degree was holding back tears because the instructor was so disrespectful when they were in the car together. He made a comment to her asking her how long she's been in the United States AND HE TOLD HER THAT HER ENGLISH NEEDS TO BE BETTER!!! What? This is unacceptable. This man was hired to judge her driving NOT her English (which, for the record, is very good). Additionally, when I picked her up afterward, he rudely told me that if I wanted his feedback that I would have to wait an hour to talk with him. I paid DriveSafe over $600 for 6 hours of driving and testing - please explain to me why this man is incapable of picking of the phone and making a 3-minute call. DriveSafe: I see that there is another reviewer from a day ago saying that their instructor at this same location was "very prejudice against black people." You need to look into if Maria and Lanora had the same instructor. If my gut is right, you better do something about it. Update: I would like to make a note that I have spoken with the manager of this location and the CEO of DriveSafe and they were both amazing and took this incident very serious. I appreciate their time and communication.

Negative experience: I went for my driver's test today and failed it instructor said I was doing 47 in a 35 zone he lied and argue with me very prejudice place against black people dont go there scam they just want your money

Negative experience: Go somewhere more professional with better trained staff. My son took driver’s awareness here to get his learners permit. They told us they would send confirmation that he took the class to the dmv and they never did. No one knew what to do or how to fix it. They lied to us and didn’t even take accountability for their obvious error and then tried to blame it on us and the dmv. Horrible and stressful experience. Don’t go here.

Fantastic experience: Overall we have had a wonderful experience with Drivesafe at multiple locations. The instructors and individuals who did test drives with my daughter were all excellent. In particular Cindy at Greenwood Village. She was the instructor on my daughter’s final drive test. She was kind/patient/calmed nerves and thoroughly explained what she did right and what she did wrong at the end of her test. She was a stark contrast to the first drive test instructor we had the prior week - Kay at Greenwood Village. I am certain that Kay is very qualified and competent but she was so extraordinarily rude to my daughter from the minute we walked in the door. I knew she would not pass just given this woman’s demeanor. And during the test she practically had my daughter in tears. My daughter did make several errors which should have absolutely required her to fail the first time. However the way Kay handled interaction with my daughter and quite frankly me was completely unprofessional. I would highly recommend requesting Cindy for any driving lessons/tests at this location. Although my daughter made errors during her test Cindy was able to explain what she did wrong (she did pass!) calmly and professionally and we can’t thank her enough.

Negative experience: Did not have a good experience with them! The instructor is great and teaches well but if you don’t take her recommendation to not take the test, she’ll take that personally, judge you extra hard and look for reasons to not pass you :) I was told to get A LOT more practice, well I took the test the next day at another (more reasonably priced) school and passed with a great score.

Fantastic experience: Highly recommend! DriveSafe helps you feel more confident while driving. Evaluator Cindy is great! She gives excellent instructions, and good tips.

Negative experience: Had to use this location for my kid's final driving session. While the staff is nice, the instructor was awful. This final drive has typically been highway, up to mountains and serious drive time. Instead he kept my kid on surface streets and a parking lot. He was also rude. The car smelled of Indian food and sweat. The instructor kept the car at 79 degrees. I called in to voice my concerns, they said they would get back to me. Not so much. This location is a joke and its on me for paying for this substandard service.

Negative experience: Do not come to this location. SE Aurora is a million times better, everyone at this location is very stuck up and rude. Every instructor is on a power trip, and makes it so no teen feels confident about taking their driving test. This location also never answers their phone. I sat in their lobby for 30 minutes, and saw multiple times how the front desk ladies let the phone ring out. DO NOT COME HERE!!!

Negative experience: Warning Scam! Based on our experience…If you take a drivers test here, take your phone and record your driving test with the instructors instructions, (make sure to get audio of what they say) AND use a driver tracking app to get your own driving test stats. This will help cover yourself against potential scams. We did our classes through another accredited program, and having two driving instructors as parents myself, I was comfortable training our son. I’m confident that he is a very competent driver who obeys the laws of the road very carefully. With that said, our experience with the driving test was absolutely horrible, as we believe our minor son was pushed to speed up twice, and then was failed for speeding on that same road…. which ooops, coincidentally causes us to have to spend another weekend and $50 with them. Just seems shady. Our recommendation- If you haven’t taken their classes, where they make more money off of you, DON’T use them for doing your driving test. You could hear preferential treatment in this location from the instructors with the testing drivers, as they we engaging with them. It’s a bad sketchy feeling for sure. This business seems shady. However, it’s important to note, the whole Colorado system, allowing private companies to make money off of a required state certification process is terrible, as it leaves the door wide open for companies like this one, who are simply looking to maximize their revenues and profits vs providing a simple paid service to the community.

Negative experience: I wouldn't go to this location the roads they take you on are not friendly to new drivers an as well as they will bring a person they are training with your drive an basically in tryin to teach the new hire an fail you. Have been through this company before an never had as a rough time with them besides this location. My instructor seemed to be more invested with the person he was training. As well as after the test told me something that I did wrong that were not remotely true, I should know I'm the one driving. Either way I highly recommend going to a diffrent location if you have you have to wait few weeks id recommend that then going here you will fail.

Negative experience: Yesterday at about 1:43 pm, a sole driver in a DriveSafeColorado car, CO License 3939350, cut me off in traffic on Greenwood Plaza Blvd., nearly hitting my car, without indicating a lane change. I hope this maneuver isn't being taught to students.

Fantastic experience: Cindy was very professional when providing constructive feedback to my son. She was gentle but firm at the same time when she wants him to know which one is a must do and don’t. Thank you, Cindy

Negative experience: Do not use this driving school. They have too many students for the number of driving intructors. You have to schedule the lessons 2 months out, and half the time they cancel the lesson the day of the lesson. If customers did they they would charge a cancellation fee. Then they make you book a new lesson two months out. There are other driving schools out there... use one of those.

Fantastic experience: I took a one-hour lesson and a driver's test here. Both Jaco and Eric were very good instructors. They gave me a lot of helpful feedback which I was able to apply!

The instructor was very helpful and I believe helped me pass today. I would highly recommend DriveSafe if you are looking for a place to take lessons or the driving test!

Fantastic experience: We scheduled our daughter’s drivers test at this location and Cindy was amazing! Her calm and professional approach helped my daughter feel at ease, as she was very nervous about passing her test. After the test, it was apparent that Cindy cares about the safety of everyone on the road and took the time to share tips to help keep her safer when driving alone. Thank you Cindy!

Fantastic experience: Today I took my last driving class before my test. I had Farrah and she was amazing. She made me feel super comfortable. I learned new skills and how to improve my current skills. She was my favorite instructor I have had so far. I definitely recommend drive safe and Farrah.

Negative experience: One of the worst experiences ever. This place is not honest and will take your money. Go somewhere else.
