Fantastic experience: Hats off to Jim my instructor. I took the experienced rider course on my new Harley CVO Breakout which I only rode around 100 miles so I started the class unable to maneuver around the cones without putting my feet down. He taught me how to counterbalance thru the tight slow turns. I finished the day fully mastering the technique he taught me. Learned a lot of valuable skills which will help me be safer on the road again. Great class. Highly recommend.

They are very knowledgeable and informable leaders. They took there time with us as through all the skills and training and were always available for questions throughout the course. Due to your school and trainers I will be back future courses.

Fantastic experience: Just finished the course at their Selden location. Tom and Omar were fantastic! Lifelong riders with immense knowledge, they are very skilled at teaching newbies like me and also very patient and encouraging. All of this and just great guys to be around for a couple of days! Negative experience: Just want to add that there was only 1 instructor who had to shout across the lot - we had to try to understand what he was saying with helmets on and 4 engines on. I was dismissed "for my own safety" due to mechanical issues with THEIR motorcycle! Instead of just switching me to a different one and troubleshooting if it was me or the motorcycle. They have so very many motorcycles to use, but I was dismissed, and there went $400 down the drain. The guy who was taking the course as a refresher even said he was watching, and it was NOT my fault. I did everything correct, he told me and wondered why the heck the instructor would dismiss me, instead of switching bikes. It kept stalling, and the neutral light would not work! This instructor swore up and down the bike was fine - it was me. (without looking at it - but noticing the neutral light didn't work). Yet I have a witness who was hanging behind to watch me. On top of that, no one will call or email me back. I swear they have a quota to make and fail at least 1 a day to make the money. I should have gone with my gut and went else where, after hearing about these kinds of issues!

I am more comfortable and am beginning to regain my confidence after the great tips that Both Tom and Mike provide the class with!! Fantastic experience: As a first time rider I came in a bit nervous the first day but Tom and Mike were awesome! Took the time to explain everything thoroughly and answer any question you had, left the second day confident in myself, would highly recommend this class to anyone considering it!

Fantastic experience: I traveled from Queens county to Suffolk because they had more availability and open slots. I would say it was totally worth it. My man Herrik and Omar ,who’s mad funny, were super easily to work with and they are extremely knowledgeable, super nice, friendly and Understanding. They made the whole course so much fun. Layla helped us all with mostly the knowledge section and she gave us good feedback on what to improve upon. She made it fun too. Honestly I was expecting it to be some boring class but trust me when I say These guys make it fun for you. You learn and enjoy Thank you OTRA family. Cant forget Jerry with the big smile

Fantastic experience: Jim and Pat were our instructors for the advanced motorcycle course. Not only were they knowledgeable but they are both incredibly personable and easy to get along with and understand. Throughout our 6 hour course to get our MSF certificate that allows us to get our license I learned an immense amount about myself and my motorcycle as well as required skills to keep myself as safe as possible and confident. They are both also incredibly funny which took the sting of being there for six hours away completely. My only recommendation is to pack appropriately for the day. Have the proper safety equipment, make sure your bike is up to par on brakes, fluid, and electronics. The course went smoothly, the time between drills and setup was minimal, and an overall a fantastic experience. I absolutely will be returning for the skills course in due time as a refresher and practice. Thanks again you two, I’m immeasurably impressed with both instructors, and the course.

Positive experience: Over the two days I had 3 instructors Omar Kat and Jerry between the three of them the amount of knowledge they shared I feel will stick with me for a lifetime they collectively had a lot of patience with me and my group if you choose to take classes with OTR I feel you will have the same experience I did remember to keep a open mind ant trust the process. Took the beginner course at selden Suffolk Community college campus and went from zero experience, to confident in my ability to control and ride a bike. Shout out to the instructors Cat, Jerry, Heric and Martin. They were all amazing, helpful, and never once I felt like I was “in trouble”. They treat you like humans, they only want to help, and make sure you are riding properly, safely, and doing what you are supposed to be doing. They all had awesome senses of humor while also conveying how serious it is to ride a motorcycle. The instructors ability to make you laugh and feel comfortable definitely helps with the stress, anxiety, and unknowns you may be feeling going into this course. Will definitely be taking more advanced classes in the future. If you’re thinking about taking the beginner course, stop thinking and DO IT!

Fantastic experience: Took the advanced one day course. Had Jim as my instructor. Came to the course knowing how to do basic riding but definitely learned a lot. Practiced panic stopping, tight turns from stops, figure 8's, etc. Jim was very helpful in correcting small issues I had and explaining everything. Left the course with a lot of useful tips and tricks. Definitely more confident riding on the road. Highly recommend the course! Had a great day having fun learning with everyone! :)

Fantastic experience: Took OTRA MSF BRC 1 course over Memorial Day weekend out in Suffolk. The instructors Tom & Jim were very informative & helpful. They took the time to explain in detail all the exercises & what is expected from the students. They both made time to coach individuals (non-experienced & experienced riders) who required help. I highly recommend the OTRA MSF BRC 1 course. Now I find myself using SEE when driving a 4 wheeled vehicle. Thank you OTRA, Tom & Jim for helping me checkoff a bucket list item. Want to take the BRC 2 course after gaining 1000 hours on my bike, which I am hopeful to have within the next few weeks.

Fantastic experience: The OTRA team (Omar, Jim and Cat) made for a very special Father’s Day weekend. My son and I took the beginners riding course in honor of my father who passed and left us his bikes. The class was well structured and our instructors were prepared, professional, helpful and personable. We left the class feeling we gained the knowledge and experience to be safe riders.

Jerry and Herick guided us through two days of excellent training from two experienced instructors. They know their S?:t. This course was well worth it. At 63 years of age it was eye opening, and challenging for me. Very professional instructors. After some lite riding this Summer I will return before Winter for BRC2 skills Practice. Fantastic experience: I took the 2-day OTRA BRC course this weekend with Omar, Jim, and Kat. I used to ride motorcycles years ago but hadn’t ridden one for over a decade. When my son decided to take this class, I thought it might be the right time to get back into riding. I was so happy I did. Omar, Jim, and Kat were great instructors. They made the class fun while teaching us techniques and safety. Both beginners and advanced riders benefited from the course and completed it successfully, which in itself speaks for the quality of the instructors. I am happy I took the class. It gave me renewed insight and allows me to return to motorcycle riding with confidence. I will return for the BRC2 class!

Fantastic experience: Just finished the OTRA 2 day riding course at the Suffolk location. I can only recommend participating in that event even if you consider yourself an experienced rider. There’s always more to learn. I’ll definitely be back for some more advanced riding lessons. I can’t thank the instructors, Omar, Jim, and Kat enough for doing an enormous job at getting more than 75% of a group with 0 riding experience, (after practicing for 2 days), to a mindset of not being interested in anything else but riding motorcycles. Again, if you think of learning how to control a bike, I’d suggest do it the proper, and fun way, and book a weekend with the OTRA Motorcycle school. Preferably, with the instructors mentioned above. What a great experience!

They took the time to work with me until I was comfortable. Henrick and Jerry were my instructors and then I did a one on one with Henrick to sharpen my skills. Vanessa handled everything from the office. I had some issues when I first started and she was very understanding and was able to change my original appointment to a different day. I highly recommend On the Road Again for any beginner and advanced rider. You will be treated like family here!!!!!

Fantastic experience: Highly recommend taking a course with OTRA. I have some experience riding and took the two day basic rider course to get fully licensed. Our instructors Omar, Jim and Kat were amazing. They teach the message, keep it funny and are very patient. I learned so much during the course and was really impressed at how quickly they got people with no experience riding to understand the clutch and passing the exercises. Fantastic experience: I would highly recommend taking this course. I road a dirt bike when I was a kid/teen, but taking this course grounds you in what you need to know/re-learn to be a competent and safe rider on the road. I had a class with Bill, Kathy, and Omar. They were each great at providing tips when we needed it, and words of reassurance as well. To add icing to the cake, they ensured each day was fun which made the experience even better. If you're looking to get on a bike, make sure to take an MSF course as even the people that have been riding for years learned a thing or two each day.

Fantastic experience: This was my second year in a row that I have taken this coarse and it was great to see the difference in confidence and control! Tom and Jim did a great job instructing and demonstrating the exercises as well as maintaining control over a large group! This will be an annual event for sure. Thanks again Tom and Jim!!

Fantastic experience: Never knew how to ride before, it took only two days to really get the most important knowledge and skills to be able to successfully ride. Honestly both instructors Jim and I believe Lorie (if I am wrong sorry) both were amazing very honest about what is important to learn and they know exactly how to teach just that... they also have an advanced course if you wanted to go farther. Fantastic experience: Great training for every motorcyclist. Mike and Kat were very good, and I got to ride a new KTM Duke 200, which was a fun little street bike compared to my Nighthawk 750 cruiser or my KPX 250 Dual Sport.

Both instructors possessed unique qualities that complemented each other, creating a harmonious teaching duo. Their teamwork created a perfect balance, akin to yin and yang, making the learning experience exceptional. In addition to being exceptional teachers, they also brought humor, adding to the overall enjoyment. Jim and Omar taught with precision, offering clear directions and a focus on learning from are mistakes. while providing a calming presence and encouragement, helping us gather our thoughts when needed. Both instructors played essential roles in our progress and improvement throughout the training program. Jim and Omar took the time to meticulously outline and explain the necessary steps we needed to take during each lesson. They exhibited an extraordinary level of patience, patiently answering all questions and addressing any concerns we had. they even would go over it one more time if we were confused. There ability to simplify complex information into understandable terms significantly alleviated confusion and helped us gain a clear understanding of the course expectations. My child and I had an amazing time that we will never forget. I highly recommend taking this class as it was a fantastic experience that left a lasting impact on all of us.

"Hand off the brake!", Scott yelled numerous times. Well, I don't do that anymore. "Friction zone!!!" Where do we want to be? "Friction zone!!" Great class and I strongly urge anyone even considering taking up motorcycling to take this course FIRST!

I haven't rode a motorcycle in over 30 years, my confidence was low, I'm certainly not an expert now but with the knowledge Scott and Mike provided I feel more more confident in my ability and the need to be safe when on the road!
