Fantastic experience: This is, without a doubt, one of the best driving schools in Queens. The pricing is affordable, yet the quality of instruction is excellent. I recently completed their 10-lesson package, and alhamdulillah, I got my driver’s license yesterday. Mr. Rahim is incredibly helpful—he assisted me in scheduling my test whenever it was convenient, and if he was busy, he made sure someone else was available to teach. Mr. Emon, one of the instructors, is outstanding as well.He was patient, calm, and incredibly supportive, making the whole learning experience stress-free. He broke down each maneuver in a way that was easy to understand, building my confidence with every session. For anyone looking to get their driver’s license, I highly recommend this school. The 10-lesson package is more than enough if you stay focused and attend at least one class a week. They even provided me with highway driving classes at no extra cost, while other places charge around $70 per session. Popular Driving School is truly one of the best choices for quality instruction at an affordable price!

Negative experience: I had the same experience as the other in the comments. I wasted 6 classes with muti who didn’t teach me any rules just to go left and right and would talk on the phone the whole time AND was late to EVERY SINGLE class by at least 15-30 minutes. Then I was sent the owners son who was sooo much nicer but it’s unacceptable that I’m learning to work a car on my 7th lesson. I obviously didn’t pass my test since I had only three real classes. I wouldn’t waste your time here, since they don’t respect our time.

Negative experience: I had Mitu as my instructor. She would’nt explain any rules or anything. Would just ask to turn left right and how to paralllel park. While the road lesson she would continuously talk on phone to her relatives. Waste of money. She wouldnot pay attention to the lesson or whatsoever. Do not waste money on this class.

Fantastic experience: Popular Driving School caught my attention because of all the good reviews and the affordable prices. I took the 3 lesson package and my instructor Mitu was very nice and patient with me during those lessons. She showed me and encouraged me to fix my mistakes whenever I made any and overall was a great instructor. I would recommend this school to anyone who is looking to get their license. The process was quick and I was able to pass my drivers test thanks to my instructor, Mitu and her helpful advise.

Fantastic experience: Coming from Ferrari, Popular Driving School is by far phenomenal, the best choice in Queens. Unlike others, they will have you behind the wheel from the very first minute of your first lesson, and are very honest about timing. They’re also very affordable and decently priced compared to others. The package deal is wonderful since it covers the road test and the fees to borrow their car and the 5-hr lesson. If you’re completely new to driving, their 15 lesson package was perfect! I preplanned all my lesson date and times with the instructor and did mainly double lessons for more practice, which worked out best. One can do 45 minute single lessons or a double (90 min). They will pick you up from your home and drop you off as well! Did not have much luck with first instructor due to punctuality, lack of focus on my driving, and language barrier, but when I requested a change and was switched to Emon, I picked up the instructions much quickly and felt much more confident with my driving. Emon was very descriptive of the road, signs, tips, and tricks. Very clear with instructions, and beyond patient and respectful. Will be recommending everyone to Popular Driving School going forward. An overdue review, but I am ever so grateful to Mr.Howladar who set this school up in such an organized fashion, and Emon for providing a very positive driving experience. Thank you for teaching me everything in 2 weeks as requested, and allowing me to pass my road test on the first attempt :) Seems that success rate here is close to 100%, would recommend this school to everyone !

Fantastic experience: I had a great experience with this driving school and I passed the test in one try under my intructor Mr. Ismail Chowdhury. He was very attentive and patient in his teaching, and clearly demonstrated how to perform turns, U-turns, and parallel parking. He was also able to explain how to adjust for mistakes made during driving in the heat of the moment, as well as how to remain alert and attentive so as to drive safely.

Fantastic experience: One of the best schools ever. My test was in 2 days when I contacted them and they happily accepted me as student. My instructor was sir Emon, he is one of coolest and best instructor I have ever seen. I got late on first class but still they gave me full class. I passed the test on first day just because of sir Emon tricks. P.s ali here.

Negative experience: My friend recommended me to this agent, I took 10 lessons, they were lied me that they provide 2 times road test.but they was charging me more than $150 for the second road test. Which is I avoid after that day., also they were very much hurry to take the road test, never judge on my driving improvement,They insist me to go for road tests couple of times , Coach Mitu is always on phone and says that tho I’m on phone but my focus is always on you what??? She is very unprofessional, if she is good coach or person she shouldn’t insist for the road test, As she is the coach she should know that am I ready for the test, unfortunately I’m failed. Waste of time and money.

Negative experience: Horrible trainers and management. Extremely unprofessional. No time and schedule maintenance, one trainer was teaching completely wrong way of turning from intersection, another trainer used to come whenever he wanted to take classes. Extremely unprofessional company.

Negative experience: Everyone at the popular driving school was nice. However, the instructor I was paired with didn't give as much attention to me that was needed. They would constantly be on their phone doing other work during the 'lessons' instead of teaching or giving tips on where to improve. They were 20 minutes late to a session and didn't get my full money's worth. I was not as prepared as I thought and didn't pass first time. Your milage may vary. Will be looking elsewhere for more lessons so I can pass next time.

Fantastic experience: I took 2 classes from panna choudhury,I came from a different school, she only teaches me 2 lesson, and show me every trick. She was very helpful, caring, friendly and patient with me. She was not afraid to point out what I was doing wrong and also helped me fix it, no matter how long it took! Because of her I have successfully passed my road test!

Fantastic experience: If you're looking for the best instructor, ask for Nazrul... trust me, you will not regret. Nazrul is so nice, friendly and very passionate about teaching. At first , I thought he was the owner because he was doing everything he could to help. He was always ready and willing to work with you according to your schedule. I took only 5 classes with him with little to no driving experience , and he took me to road, I PASSED with first trial almost with perfect score( 95%). Fantastic experience: It was great. They have great deals of lesson packages and dedicated teachers. I especially like Ms. Panna for the encouragements. Greatly enjoyed the little conversations we had. And also her 'tough love' in rebuking me for making silly mistakes while driving. Mr Rahim, although very busy, he's a sweet teacher. Both of them are always giving explanations and sharing tips for parking etc. Would not have done it w/o them. Thank you so so much.

Fantastic experience: I just recently passed my road test on my first try. This place is also very cheap and reasonable for how many lessons you can get. Much better compared to other places. Driving was very nerve wracking but with help from Mitu, you'll pass for sure. She knows a lot about all the rules of driving and where you should look. Fantastic experience: I passed with the help of Nazrul. He is a good instructor, who is very helpful and encouraging. Do not take other instructors, take Nazrul. The other instructor talks too much, and it is distracting when you are trying to learn.

Negative experience: Overpriced and not professional. Driving instructor would talk on the phone or have me run errands for her. Would frequently scold me for mistakes when I am just learning. After passing on second try, they asked me to post a good review.

Negative experience: Pésimo trato, si tú estás pagando para que te enseñen eso deben hacer, por algo se llaman escuela, el instructor llega tarde a recogerte, llega con mala actitud y tras del hecho la pasa en el teléfono, cuando se da cuenta que una intenta hacer algo mientras el está en el teléfono te coge el volante y te comienza a gritar.! La verdad ha sido la peor experiencia.! Para nada recomiendo esta escuela si se puede llamar así.!

Negative experience: Stole my money. I paid for 5 lessons in advance before the lockdown . After the lockdown when I contacted them about the lessons they said they will let me know . It’s been six months after that they are still letting me know . The girl instructor mitu is unprofessional . Talking to phone all the time . Don’t waste your money here . There are others in this same area who provide better service . This is what they gave me as a receipt .

Fantastic experience: I called Popular Driving School and was able to take 4 lessons before my road test. The fact that Popular Driving School was able to quickly give me lessons as my road test was only a week away shows how amazing the school is. Other schools I called said it was too short of a notice, but Popular was able to accommodate me. The price was fair as well! On top of that I asked to have Panna Choudhury as my instructor as I read her reviews and they were really good. I was able to take 3 lessons with Panna and my last lesson I took before my road test with the boss Rahim. Panna is honestly THE BEST instructor I have ever had. She is so kind and patient, but corrects you when you make a mistake and even gives advice so it is not repeated. Rahim was amazing as well and helped me perfectly sharpen my skills right before taking my test. I am so thankful for Popular as they accommodated me last minute but I still received excellent service and passed my road test. I highly recommend!!

Negative experience: I'd give zero stars if I could. Nothing popular about this place. Very poor communication and the employees are NEVER on the same page. You have to ask them and remind them about everything and they cancel you or change your lesson times last minute with no warning and are LATE to lessons. Employees lack professionalism and courtesy. They cheat you by teaching you less than 45 minutes and don't take the time to thoroughly teach you what you need to know to be a good driver on the road. Before I even began lessons they scheduled my road test by themselves to rush me to finish my lessons and I felt unprepared .

Negative experience: Absolutely horrendous service and I do not recommend. The employers were never on the same page of when driving lessons were booked, all over the place with scheduling and some of the instructors were very rude amidst driving. They would give me word of mouth for a certain set lesson and then would forget about certain scheduled lessons and there was no communication within and each worker would tell me something different about when I should bring in money to pay in increments. Lots of things were handled unprofessionally and I would have to give them reminders instead of them giving me reminders of test dates and lesson times. The main owner would tell me to bring in my money one day, while he told my instructor that I was going to bring in my money another day. On top of that they were more than often late to lessons and would not pick me up from my home like they did with some other students. The only positive that came out of this service was the instructor Nazrul, who was extremely sweet, very positive and an amazing amazing instructor. If for whatever reason you decide to go here, I recommend taking lessons from him. Overall, would not recommend this service at all.
